The Thunder's Roar is a home-made magnetic accelerator crafted by the Mandalorian "Sara." It is an interesting weapon because despite its extreme weight and calibre it has no stock. As such no normal human could effectively wield it without the aid of armor with cybernetic enhancements.

Read the little blurb at the bottom. The only way for a human to effectively wield the weapon is via powered armor. Otherwise you'd pretty much get killed from the gun as it recoiled anyways, having such an outrageous caliber. Magnetic accelerators are heavy in general anyways.

• Right, despite your stressing of the need for powered armour and cybernetics to wield it the weapon is still hideously impractical for a human to wield, if the length included a stock that would possibly be another matter. It works for 8 foot tall space marines but no matter how much armour you're wearing your human isn't going to be able to hold this, or perhaps take the strain of the recoil. Reducing the height or adding a stock might do the trick.
• I'd also think about knocking the range down to 250m.
