[EVENT] Movement I: Rising Chorus

Hey SWUfolk, today we are officially launching the first phase of our main site event: Rising Chorus.

This event is going to be pretty different than events in the past have been, in some ways that we're eagerly looking forward to you all finding out. Now, to start, we've issued a quartet of missions in the Holonet Hyperlight Signal board. You can sign up for them there. They're built for teams of three to four people and will all flow into the main course of the event. We'll have at least one staffer in each mission to push things along.

Be advised, we are going to try to keep things moving during the event, so communication is very, very important.

There's a lot more to come as the event plays out. This early phase is a build-up, and while we will push to the second one if things slow down, the more active everyone is, the faster we can get to the big reveal. We'll use the announcement area to keep things updated as the event unfolds.

So, now that some of the threads for the Rising Chorus are going up, we're going to lay out a bit of instruction for these threads. The primary thing is that we want to keep these moving. This is a big event with a lot left to come, so we're going to push for a pretty steady pace.

The staff push members in each thread will try to keep things going, which includes keeping contact with everyone involved. We want people to post within 7 days of the most recent staff push post. If it takes longer than that, the staff will push the thread along, skipping if needed. If you get skipped, it does not mean you're out of the thread! You're still more than welcome, and highly encouraged, to keep posting, so just jump back in!

And if you know you might not be able to make a post within a week due to IRL obligations or anything else that pops up, just let the folks in your thread know so everyone can work out how to keep going while keeping everything set so you can come back in whenever you're able.

To more generally build off of that, communication with your threadmates is very important. That's true for any thread, but especially for this event. These are supposed to be fun, above anything else, so have fun with it all and talk about things with each other as thing move along, especially if there are questions about something
