Xue looked up at the landing ship, which was expertly being landed nearly on top of the small band of healers of this valley, then something came up... a presence was coming closer Xue could of course thanks to the large web of the force that allowed him to sense living being in the area he was able to feel something approach the area, Xue could certenly feel it but he was not good enough to accuratly tell who or what it was until it was less than 60 meters away... then he was able to feel that this being was strong in the force, but certenly not dark it was just weak... tired, faint.

Once the man came into view, the rogue looking Jedi relaxed and smiled at his silly question "What gave us away?" he said walking up to the lost one and offering to help carry him to the place that Mal mentioned, "Take it easy eh mate? whats your name?" Xue asked the lost one after allowing him to drink some water.

Then the blond Jedi greeted Reina by offering to shake his hand, giving her a wink "Xue's the name"

After they tended to the young jedi Zett sat back down by the norgi named Je'baru.do you know of any of Marcus Foxworths belongings shorty?he smiled.
he herd a thud and a another thud thin a roar he looked up at a monster rancore twice as big as a normal one! oh not good. he put his helmet on and lit his jet pack.
and landed on the rancore's arm turned off the jet pack.
and lit his flame shooter burrning the monsters arm.and then shot the whip cord into the rancore's arm jet over the rancor's back. lit his flame shooter burning its back but he ran out of flame shooter fuel.
he puled to its back and put his rocket fuel into his flame shooter.
the rancore was now lit up.
he landed and tide it up more but that did not work the only thing that did work was the fire.
thin he remembered the rocket that had the cure he fired at the rancore....but it kept going unphaisd.
oh not good next.

Sam, who, through his own efforts and endeavors, had been injured to great extents, greatly appreciated the help he was receiving from such strangers as these. It had been awhile indeed since the young Jedi Knight had felt and been around such kindness; no, not since... Sam dispelled the thought from his mind, as his Padawan days with his master were long behind him. Returning his attention to the current situation, Sam attached his lightsabers back to his belt as he was amiably lead to sit beside the well.

Despite his current situation and pain, the young Jedi smiled and chuckled a bit to himself. "By the Force," he began, starting to laugh aloud. "I didn't think I'd make it." he grew silent as he was sung to and treated with bandages, and made great use out of the water and food provided for him. He leaned back restlessly against the well and looked around at the others, all of which seemed friendly enough... well, considering that Sam hadn't been attacked yet, he assumed they were all fairly friendly.

Sam's worries continued to disperse among his normally cheerful personality as the Force surged through his body; an almost uncommon feeling for so long; as the one called Mal proceeded to care for him using Force healing techniques... which Sam had never been very good at. Pleased with the voice of the young girl and the healing prowess of the Jedi before him, Sam's spirit lifted and his stress was eased. He took the food anxiously from the woman and closed his eyes, meditating, bringing his long-since-gone Force energy back through his body powerfully.

Through his treatment, Sam also noticed another approach; one whom carried a cheerful and funny disposition in addition to blonde hair and a clean, proud, and brave face. As the man extended his hand, calling himself Xue, Sam took it eagerly and shook. With a weak reply, he laughed, "I'm Sammist Veiss," he started, meeting the man's eye, "but you can call me Sam."

Just then, one of the people that hadn't quite introduced himself so well sprung out to attack. Sam's eyes widened and his fear returned quickly upon seeing a rather large rancor that, against all odds, was twice the size of a normal rancor. Sighing, Sam clasped a hand on the shoulder's of the girl and of Xue and hoisted himself up. "Looks as if the warm welcomes are being cut short..." He said, his voice dropping off. Watching the man attack the rancor in awe, Mikau concentrated hard, bringing the newfound Force energy into his hands. He kept his hands on the two, implying that he still needed to be help up, but remained in a deep concentration.

Sam slowed and regulated his breathing at a slower pace as to calm himself and keep his energy in good reserve. Through the Force, he reached out and found the rancor's presence, powerful and wild, and grasped onto it with his own Force-like connection. He envisioned the inside of the rancor, at his internal organs, and began to use the Force around him to constrict the rancor from the outside. He turned weakly to Xue, and whispered, "Take him now, I'm trying to crush his lungs."

Mal was glad that the others took to the young one so well. When Xue came over Mal thought that he felt a change in the force. He thought it was Reina's reaction to Xue's extended hand, but he had felt it wrong. When the roar of the Rancor broke the air Mal's memories of Taris came flooding back. Mal backed away and watched as Zett went to work on the beast. He had helped fight one of these before in the lower levels of Taris but then he had twenty purified water sources going and hundred of gallons of water to work with as well. They had to bring it down and now if they stood a chance of saving the valley.

Taking a quick look at the beast Mal saw what none other did. He saw the first stages of the rahkghoul disease pon the beast. The sickly greening of the edges of the mouth and the discoloring of the eyes. Shouting Mal said..........

Watch yourselves he is infected and those small darts won't work on his mass.

Even if he had not just helped the young Jedi out he would have had a hard time getting the water from the well to the Rancor. That was the idea that he had to deal with it but how to get it down. Then he heard the snarling hiss and ear piercing roar of the noghri. What little of Je'Baru that Mal knew, he had a feeling that Je'Baru could take it down himself.

Je'Baru watched as Reina go over to help the hutt Mal had seemed very strange to him but so did most species. The one that truly bothered him was Xue. Seeing the offered hand and hearing those word made him snarl. Why? Why did he snarl? It was not like him for have not a reason. But as he looked over to Reina and saw her blush he knew why he loved her and no other.

As he walked over to Reina Zett came up to him and asked about Marcus's belongings. He must have been thinking of those on the ship last, for Marcus never told Zett of the hidden cashes around the galaxie. He shook his head and about to respond but was interupted by that same smell he often smelled on Felucia a bull rancor. This one though had a sweet smell to it. Reaching for his khabacs and activating his blade shield he heard Mal worn of it being infected. Je'Baru heard Reina's gasp of fear over all the noise. Marcus had trained him well and now others than Reina would see it.

Je'Baru called to Mal and the others ......

I'll make an opening and you Jedi had better fill it.

He knew that one or two thremos would hinder normal beast, he did not know how it would work on infected ones. Je'Baru ran for the rancor putting the single khabak into his teeth he reached behind himself and opened the slip catch to retreive two thremos. Upon reaching the beast Zett had set on fire and whipcorded one arm. From that manouver Zett had for got Marcus's warning words about fight bigger than yourself.

"When fightin' bigger never get attached to anything."

Je'Baru knew Marcus's word always have second meanings and Zett was one of simple mind. He was a yo-yo waiting to happen. Je'Baru roared the beast looked down at Je'Baru and roared back. In the inhale of the beast Je'Baru tossed the two dets into it's waiting maw. One passed the lips and the nashing teeth to go straight down to the belly. The other det got stuck in a interior cheek flap. Je'Baru waited waited a five count as he ran away to the right of the beast making it turn.

Howlering to Zett.......Let it loose we're going hot.

Je'Baru waited till Zett was clear before activating the dets. A double thump could be heard. The belly expanded and darkened. The one in the mouth blow out teeth into the air. Je'Baru snarled as he knew now that three or even five would have done better.

Reina & Ryver/Taym

All was going well the new Jedi was eating and drinking and from what she could feel from him by way of her lekku and her limited for power he also like her singing. He was not the only one who did. The blond Jedi this 'Xue' heard he as well and gave her his name. She blushed at his offered hand. She had see and did worse thing in her short life than this, so why was she blushing. Reina looked over to Je'Baru and noticed his posture and then it hit her. He like her and more than that she like him.

She turned back to shake Xue's hand, but stoppped short The smell of Rancor hit her. Her lekku twitched and she looked over Xue's right shoulder as Zett howlered Rancor. She did not know if she grabbed the young Jedi or he grabbed her. She neither cared where his hands were at the moment all she wanted was away.

Taym had been usign the WiFi of the scout drones to look over the lay of the land and he saw the rancor coming from a fair distance away. Informing Ryver they moved from the group who seem more interested in the new fleshie than the danger around them. They found a good attack point in some high grass. Which would be on the beasts right side of entering their area. They waited, the beast entered, Zett attacked and started to burn it, and Je'baru dis what he did best charge head long into the worst possible situations and come out the victor. As Ryver watched Je'Baru shift toward their direction, Ryver opened fire on rthe beast targeting the bloody and open maw of the beast with their double M-61's.

Xue also stopped short of offering his handshake to the lady Twi'lek. He turned around and gave a large sigh, by the force how did something like THAT get into this backwatered planet? Xue shook his head in disdain hoping that this would be the only rancor thing on this planet... if there were more of those things here, this little purge team was going to need a lot more help to deal with this infestation.

Xue hand went to his lightsaber and in a instant a purple light came into being. Xue mainly stayed at the fringes of the fight waiting for a perfect opportunity to strike, patience was everything. Xue's companions did an admirable job at overwhelming the huge monster, Zett bold took the creature by surprise and the young little lost Jedi despite being already exhausted kept the creature week and the Noghri made some fine points and Xue couldnt help but think that the Noghri alone could take such monstrosity on his own.

And there droid made the perfect opening for the sneaky Jedi knight. Upon blasting the creature mouth the monster roared in pain gasping for its last seconds of life, Xue would put the Rancor out of its misery.

The Jedi knight threw his lightsaber and guiding it with the aid of the force managed to impale it in the Rancor's eye socket.. the poor beast roared, it was dying and lost the desease had made it loose the little sanity such beast would have. The Jedi knight closed his eyes and allowed the force to take root on his finger tips.

"Stand back!"

Xue Aodh was one of the few Jedi who had embraced his darkness and his light and not taken a side, he was in control of his emotions and he could call the gifts of the force that most Jedi would be recluntant to use.

With his arms streched out and aiming at the colossal head, Xue led out one last breath and suddenly from his finger tips a green light surged and like electrisity it travel through the air and it engulfed the Rancor who roared in pain as the green energy scorched his already burned hide bringing a new sense of pain to the poor beast and the lightsaber of the Jedi knight served as an anchor to keep the esmerald lightning in one place acting as a lightning rod.

Xue unleashed another storm of his green lightning, that came not from cruelty or darkness but from mercy and the desire to put the creature to rest. Ending his attack Xue flicked his wrist and had his lightsaber return to him, he threw a heavy sigh he really did not like the act of ending lives.

The Rancor collapsed to the floor, to weak to lift its self up again it was just there giving its last few breaths.

Zett saw the jedi end the rancore but something was wrong it was not as mad as the globs or the frog. Zett walked up to the beast and closed his eyes hoping it was not Wat he thought but the rancore had implants in won eye and on its head and several others hey you guys may want to look at this.calling the jedi over. the mircs.this is not good he thought.if it is this bad we should split up i was invited to the mirc op so i could go in and report back after a bet Xue could be out side if i need help but the rest could stay hear you can think about it Mal he walked to the hurt jedi.thank you my name is Zett yours?as he walked to the weapons rack and took a rocket and fuel for his jet pack.

Ryver/Taym went over to the rancor and started removing the hardware from the dead beast. They were the only one who was not going to be infected by the virus. So their removing and cleansing the beast was best for all every once in awhile they encountered a glob and dispatched them with fire. Each spot was where the virus came in contact with the anti-virus. Taym com-ed Mal about the problems of the globs and Mal quietly nodded to them and let them keep working. Once finished Ryver set incendiary grenades off in the body of the beast.

Mal called over Je'Baru and asked what he thought of searching out these mercs and stopping them. Je'Baru nodded his same thoughts of finding them and bring them to a halt. No more of this virus should ever effect another planet.

Mal spoke up to Zett......You may search them out if you want but be warned the virus is a greater threat than the mercs dispatch the infected in any way you see fit. As for the Mercs find out what they know and who is wanting the virus and deal in accord with them. I wish for Reina to stay with me as well as Ryver/Taym and our young friend here. until he is feeling better. We will search out the virus bodies and dispatch them.

Reina said nothing she knew better than to even speak for she was out of her element. Little skills and no stomach for the Rakghoul.

Zett nodded his head.i will need Xue and Je'baru to come along with me if thats ok?
i may go in as a mirc myself until the right time. hey Xue can you grab the tints? he walked up to Je'baru now you wont need all of the armor I'm going to put some cuffs on you so i can get you in to the Little base or camp or what ever they got.Zett grabbed some food and watter. hey Mal i will contact you win we get to the what ever they got for a base.
and sorry we did not get to talk kid. Zett put his helmit back on and waited.
