"I wondered where that pretentious nitwit had gotten off to," Shard said to himself as Lee Ru blundered in, running smack into Fisher as he did so. He couldn't help but chuckle at the alien's antics; nevermind that he'd brought more slaves around, when Shard had forbade him from doing so. Briefly he considered inflicting some grievous, permanent harm on the silly Gungan simply out of spite, when he felt an approaching presence in the Force that instantly made him feel better. Almost happy.
"Chaos, my dear," he silently told the Rilan, reaching up and touching her face. "Chaos and conflagration." Abruptly he turned in her grasp, yanked her head down to his and kissed her roughly, possessively; his other hand slid up her body, grasping, groping. "Also I missed you."
He let her go and turned away almost as abruptly as he had taken her, facing the others with a much improved facial expression. "Whiskey you said?" he called at Fisher. "I'll do you better than that! Tarisian Ale! Corellian Firewhiskey! Juma Juice! Old Janx Spirit!" He took Lee Ru by the shoulder and waved for everyone to follow him away from the pavilion, presumably to where he had his liquor stash.
"You're lucky the Lady Madora showed up when she did," the Miraluka told his wayward subordinate. "For a second I was considering loping off one of the ridiculous head-flaps of yours, and I have no doubt Fisher was thinking the same thing. But now look, we're off to get drunk and forget about our troubles for a while!" The hand that had Lee Ru's shoulder squeezed tightly to emphasize his words.

Lee Ru seethed, furious at Shard's dismissal. He had spent the last year trying to prepare for this moment. To prove his worth to one of the few men he actually had respect for he had spent an entire year working his ass off for this man, and then he does nothing but show his ire? Lee Ru's anger slowly became palpable, with Shard's threat and the implications about that... that whore being the only thing saving him from Shard's wrath just reinforcing his barely contained disdain.
He followed tamely along while he continually considered his position, and he repeatedly came up against the same road-block: he was out-matched. His actions would be known in advance, probably as soon as he thought of them, and he would be bluntly and simply out-manoeuvred. He sighed dejectedly and continued following the group. He would plan his vengeance at another time. A time when there were no meddlers and listeners to intrude upon his mind.
Meanwhile, Kojii, having doubted the wisdom of giving shard slaves, decided to load the slaves back up on the Xijulba. She guessed that their total value would be somewhere along the lines of one hundred and thirty thousand credits. A moderately effective income for a two man crew, but nothing particularly special. She secured them in the force cages and certain that the automatic defence systems were operating, before heading back to Lee Ru. She had little doubt he would need her help before the night was out.

Gabriella's words to Cho scratched upon his emotion. The other option of going with Shard and drinking his stash was not his first want either, because shard never gave anything to anyone that he did not want some thing in return. Cho owing his life to Shard and drinking the good stuff would not go over well for either of them. Besides Cho did like to drink alone and there was only one place on planet that would except Cho that was the 'Haunt'. The darkness hid all things and Cho did stop the owner from being mobbed by a group of roudy shock troopers fresh off a bloody mission.
waving for her to follow......This was Gabriella. Drinking I know as for shopping they have yet to let me near the area, for some reason I scare the shoppers.....end with a sloppy noghri grin.
Cho led Gabriella off toward the northwestern commerical district. If he was going to have to ghost this one around he was not going to do it with out a stiff drink in his hand.
(OCC-sorry for the short post)

Hsi passed through the doorway, moving his small and delicate hand to his shoulder, patting town the wrinkles in his robe. He looked up from his shoulder to see Shard speaking to a Gungan, Lee Ru, if Hsi remembered correctly, a character he'd seen only a few times in his days. Other than Bunta and his old squadmates, there weren't many in the Dominion he'd seen more than a few times, so it was no insult to anyone if Hsi didn't know who they were, or if they didn't know who Hsi was. Afterall, Hsi was only the arms and droidmaster; not everybody cared WHERE their weapons came from, just that they came.
Hsi did hear the magical words, 'get Drunk' though. He eagerly moved closer, heading toward Shard, "Drinks? He asked, "It appears as though I have arrived in just the proper time!" He stopped about six feet away from Shard, giving a short but reverant bow to his new Lord, who had funded his move and given him a much better workshop, a steady job, and a better life. Oh, and had saved him from a dirty, nasty little Hutt problem not so long ago on Tatooine.
He owed the Dominion, and better yet, he -liked- the Dominion. He enjoyed their company; some of them were just a bunch of bucket-head pirates, but others had a rich story and though gruff, were a great lot of people. And those were just the troops. Shard had picked a great lot of underlings, each with their own uniqueness you just couldn't find anywhere else. Not to mention Shard himself. A dangerous, volatile, wonderfully enigmatic, and rather humorous leader. Hsi was happy with his position.
