Dancing with the force (Reven, Derriphan)

"Phew" Takumi said as he sat in a bench in a relatibly empty park, he closed his eyes and let out a deep sigh. The former Jedi was bored and a bit tired, it had been a very slow and boring day for him. Reven and the girl they picked up two days ago in Nar shaddaa went to work and the former Jedi was left to his own devices.

That had been four hours ago, Taku tried all sort of things to keep himself entretain. He made a wrestling tournament in the street but that plan failed after the police came and tried to arrest everyone. The broad bear of a man of course managed to elude the cops and appearntly another emergency came up and they simply stopped chasing Takumi altogether.

Now Takumi sat down in a bench looking at the sky. "I wonder what Karr and Reven are doing"

another sigh.

[Reven]

Shortly after Takumi, Reven and Kharr arrived on the planet Agamar, Reven decided to use his money to buy suitable clothing with the left over money he won from the arena since what he was wearing was meant for warm hot planet for Tatooine. Kharr followed Reven when he left Takumi for some reason he didn't bother asking. After a few hours of looking through stores, Reven bought black jacket, a white T-shirt and black pants. The black jacket had a hidden pocket that was large enough to hide his lightsaber from plain sight. After he was done shopping, he tried looking for Takumi at the local bars but wasn't able to find him, so he used the Force to help guide him. When Reven and Kharr came to the park, he saw Takumi looking up in the sky appearing quite bored to him.

"So this is where you went. I honestly thought that you would be at some bar making some kind of racket than an empty park like this" said Reven with a slight smirk on his face.

[Derriphan]

As they arrived on the planet Agamar she had a choice to make, to either follow Takumi who had finally named himself or follow along with Reven. She of course choose the later since she still felt uncomfortable around Takumi. It seemed no matter where they went chaos followed that man and that wasn't a place where she wanted to be. Kharr followed closely with Reven as he traveled store to store to try on different attire. She was still supporting the same clothes, now washed only once she also had purchased a ratty cloak that looked some kinda rat had gnawed at the edges for just a few credits.

How had she got these credits? Well, a little theft never hurt anyone now did it? Finally after traveling to several stores with in a span of hours Reven had decided what he wanted, and off they went to look for his friend. Visiting several of the local bars in hopes to find him but so far they had been walking around for nothing. They started to head off into an area more thickly populated with tree's which Reven had called a 'park'. In this park they found Takumi sitting in a park bench staring boredly at the sky. Plopping herself down on the park bench she brought her legs up and crossed them as she crossed her arms over her chest. Leaning back into the bench as she closed her golden eyes and sighed to herself.

She was a supposed free woman but she felt far from free. Still she did not know what to do with herself or where she wanted to go. Really she didn't hold a lot to interest, although she had had a hankering for working on a droid of some type. Almost wishing and wondering at the same time if a place like this had a junk yard of some sort. Kharr really felt like getting her hands dirty elbow deep inside some broken and picked apart droid. Maybe with enough parts from other droids she could get one up and running for a cheap cheap price?

Takumi jumped back to life once he heard Reven voice behind him "There you are laddie!" Takumi said rising himself up again with renewed energy.

The Former Jedi knight gave a big dumb smile at both his companions. Hopefully they would entretain him or at least make his afternoon less day. "So wacha got for me?" Takumi said rubbing his hands together while he approached the group.

The park was also relatibly empty with a few people jugging around and the odd couple of lovers up in a hill sharing cheesy poems about love and such rot.

Takumi had been feeling lonely today and needed some attention. The former Jedi wrapped both his colossal arms around both kids, hopefully they would be ready to meet Takumi powerful stench.

[Reven]

"Well... I only had enough money to buy clothes for myself. Most of the money I make is usually paid for our travel expenses or your drinks seeing how that was part of our agreement for my training in the ways of the Force" explained Reven after Takumi asked him if he bought him anything. Though he did make a mental note to buy something for Takumi next time he went shopping seeing how Takumi could have easily asked for more for the training. Then Takumi would come up to the young hapan and the cathar and hugged them with his big arms. As Takumi hugged them, Reven smelled something awful coming from Takumi and made a very disgusted face as a result of that awful smell.

It looks like I know what I need to buy Takumi next time I go shopping thought Reven right after he quickly decided that he was going to give Takumi a bar of soap next time he goes shopping and possibly a trip to the laundromat to wash his clothes.

[Derriphan]

Kharr took a step back when Takumi popped up from his seat, startling her clearly since she was still jumpy around people. Quick movements made her nervous cause in all her years of life it always meant something bad and bad habits died hard. She watched the dirty man rub his hands together as he approached the couple, wrapping his large arms around the two. Kharr didn't even scrunch her nose or protest. She had smelled worse, her master smelt worse and most of the people he worked with the same. Growing up in bars, and clubs had that effect on you. Despite the fact Takumi had wrapped his arms around the group she didn't bother to return the hugs as she kept her arms down at her sides.

Kharr not wanting to be rude quickly got herself out of his grip. She was a lithe individual and she knew how to get out of hugs, grabs, and other such things and she was standing neigh but a foot away as she stared at the two men now hugging. Brushing off her shoulder as she took in a large wiff of air and didn't even gag on it. Her golden eyes instinctively examining the area. Taking in the people, insects, and animals that scurried all the roads and tree's. Her ears shifting left and right very slightly to pick up on conversations people were having and the calling if animals to animals. A bird of some type flew out of a tree above them, letting go a drop of poo she took a step to the side at just the moment before it hit the ground, dodging the dropping altogether.

Looking over at Takumi who was of course looking back and saw the whole thing she shrugged her shoulders and put her hands behind her head, stretching her body on her tippy toes.

"That was lucky huh? I moved at just the right second.. I had a feeling, and just went with it..."

Little did Kharr know she had long sense been force sensitive. Although it was never properly trained she relied on it with bad things were just about to happen. Rather it be the crack of a whip to come or a bird pooing. It was just something she always passed off as reflex's and she never really took a second thought to it....

"Dooo they have any junk yards around her Takummmiii? I want to play with old droids..."

Her voice almost sounded normal now that she was talking for but it still had a hint of a whisper to it. It was still childish and far from knowing the real dangers of the world. Takumi may have witnessed her playing with electrical equipment long since broken on their ship. It seemed with the right tools she could just put things together as if it were easy as a hundred piece puzzle.

Takumi allowed the Cathar to slip away and eventually let go of the Hapan boy who might begin to turn green if he remained more time under the former Jedi arm pit.

"Just kidding boy, but I hope you have some money for tonight round" he laughed for a while but eventually he stopped quite suddenly. He saw as Karr easily dodged a piece of falling bird dropping without looking, the former Jedi jaw dropped for a second. Then he began shaking his head "No, it couldn't it be could it?" his mind said while Takumi kept shaking his head.

He stopped and the large human suddenly approached the recently released Cathar "Stay still for a moment" he said seriously ignoring her comment about playing with droids. Almost like lightning Takumi hands shot for the former slave, one hand grabbing her wrist and the other her jaw. Takumi had to make sure and this was the best way he could think off at the moment. The former Jedi sniffed her a couple of times, being so close to the Cathar he could feel the force in her, it was dormant there and Takumi could tell that if trained she could reach a very good level in the force.

Takumi let go of Karr after a couple of silence of seconds, he turned around and went for the bench. He sat down and looked up at the sky "Why does it always have to be slaves eh?" he said quietly at first "You do have an odd sense of humor, don't you" he said soon after in a more regular tone.

Seems Takumi would have another burden upon him.

[Reven]

After Takumi released Reven, Reven quickly took a few steps back to get away from the giant's putrid stench. "Don't worry, I should have enough money for tonight's round. Just be sure not to drink too much or we will have to run away" said Reven after Takumi said that he hoped that he had enough for tonight's round. Reven would then turn to Kharr after she mentioned something about moving at the right second based on a feeling and since Reven didn't see the feat, he really didn't know what she was talking about or even interested until Takumi walked up to her.

Takumi would then suddenly grab her wrist and her jaw and smelled her. Reven of course could sense that she was in no danger due to his connection to the Force, but he did feel kind of creeped out when Takumi started smelling her. After Takumi released Kharr, he said something that Reven couldn't hear and than told the young cathar that she had a strange sense of humor in a regular tone of voice.

"Taku, what was that all about?" asked Reven who had no idea that the young cathar was force sensitive. After all, the only force users he has encountered ever since he learned how to sense things were at the master level.

[Derriphan]

"Neh?"

Was all she could get out before Takumi forcefully grabbed her wrist and then proceeded to grab her jaw. She was completely wrought with fear as she struggled some what to get away from him. Takumi's nose came so close to her and she felt disgusted, as if she were being grabbed and licked by her former master. The fine hairs on her skin rose and she got goose bumps all at the same time as her head went back as far as it could from him. With her trying to get away from him as soon as she was released she felt back onto her bottom. Kharr gently rubbing her jaw and then proceeding to rub her wrist, as she put her arms around herself and rubbed her arms.

Believe it or not Kharr was afraid of Takumi, he moved so quick, it felt as if all her training and all the fighting she could barely remember seemed for naught. It was even more sad that she almost felt like crying cause she felt so helpless. In a matter of seconds her golden eyes became glossy as she looked over to Reven. Once again Reven would see she was more child and far from adult despite the killing she had did but could barely remember. A split personality one hell bent on destruction and death the other innocent to that of a child. Of course this was the more dormant personality and one that would take her quite some time to grow out of.

Her tongue was still tied, and she was still rubbing her arms she just felt so gross. Years of starvation, beatings, whippings, and her master fondling came back to her. It felt so gross, and she had relived that feeling in the few seconds Takumi held her. It was like cogs slowly clicking in her might, her head twitched and she got angry, angry beyond anything her innocent mind was capable of. Then she twitched again, the anger dying as soon as it came. Maybe Reven and Takumi would feel that sudden flash of supreme hate, maybe they wouldn't. Hopefully they did, for it was a fire that could be easily fed with but a single stick.

Takumi raised his hand and his fist clenched as if trying to catch a cloud. "Sorry about that kiddo" Takumi said absent mindedly at the Cathar.

Reven asked what was wrong and Takumi made a faint smile "The force" Taku lowered his arm and turned around to face Karr and Reven, the bear of a human turned around when he sensed for a second anger leaking off from the girl, faint as it was it was directed at him. Takumi took a deep breath "Oh this was not going to be a smooth ride"

"She is one of us, y'know a force sensitive" The girl wouldn't probably undestand what he was talking about but Reven would. "What is it with you former slaves being strong in the force" he joked but without a smile in his lips.

"Say girlie you know what the force is?" Takumi asked, trying to get this over with. Oh well he did wanted something interesting to happen he just didn't expect that he would pick up another slave who turned up to be a force sensitive.

[Reven]

Wow... it's almost has if she has a completely different personality when she's out of the ring thought Reven as Kharr looked to him with her now glossy eyes. He could of course sense that she was afraid of Takumi which was really understandable if anyone saw him fight and the fact that he was so huge was really intimidating. Shortly after Takumi apologized to the young cathar, Takumi told Reven that it had to due with the force. Reven would then focus his senses at Kharr and detected a small trace of force sensitivity in her. After Reven detected her force sensitivity, Reven couldn't help but wonder if Takumi's force sensitivity was weak like her's before he started his Jedi training. After all, Takumi did say on more than one occasion that he had a weak connection to the force compared to the average Jedi Master.

"Well most of us former slave have nothing once we're free, so we simply compensate for that by having a strong connection to the Force. Kind of like people who wield large weapons" joked Reven with a smile on his face. He figured that he'd try to lighten up the mode after Takumi joked about former slaves being strong in the Force without a smile. When Takumi asked Kharr what she knew of the force, Reven's immediate thought was that she knew nothing about it. After all, there are many people in the galaxy that don't think that the Jedi even exist.

[Derriphan]

She took the comment of apology and her face quickly changed but she was still angry, of course like most of her anger it was quickly stored in that chasm where it had gathered since her time of starting as a slave. Takumi being strong in the force could pry feel the untapped power better than Reven could but her anger was definitely an outlet. Then the man who had but a second ago seemed vicious was now acting kinder. Proceeding to ask her if she knew what the force was, and she cocked her head to the side. Thinking back deep into her thoughts and coming up with what she knew.

"My former Master didn't care much for the force.... I remember one time someone with the force had gave him a problem. So, umm.. I think he killed him. He really fancied his collection of these light stick things..."

She asked honestly, remembering the little room that he had had and it had tight security. These light sticks were neat from what she could remember, and she knew the two men here each carried one, but her master he pry at least had a dozen of different colors and shapes. Kharr wished many times she could get into that room and take one apart, it was such an interesting device the few times she had saw it. Still sitting on the ground she tucked her legs to her chest and put her arms around them as she rested her chin on her knees.

"There was also a particular man he had brought in for work. Sadly he just wanted his light stick, so he put him in one of those stasis fields. Then I- "

The vision was a blur of movement. Did she kill him? She bit her lip, she didn't know, it all happened so fast and she just remembered being really angry, it started with a shock and ended with a death is all she could remember.

"I don't know.. if I did it, but from what I remember, the man his head was tore clean clear off his neck, and my hands were really bloody... I wonder who did it to him..."

Ever since she had met the two (Takumi and Reven) she had started talking a lot more, opening up to them. For all these years she had kept everything to herself and she wasn't even allowed to talk unless spoken to when she was a slave, but now she culd do as she wished.

(sorry dont have much time to post and this is all I managed to squizz into a post, I'll be on a trip for the next 2 days)

Takumi made a sacarstic joke at his student before turning his attention back to the Cathar. "looks like someone has an anger issue" He said walking back to her, he had not sensed it before and only seen glimpses of it that night in Nar Shaddaa and even then he didn't bothered to remember it mainly becouse he didn't expected to have picked her up.

"Your to young to be playing around with the darkside missy" he said gravely but not without understanding "We'll need to find a solution for this..." he said shrugging and gave a look to his apprentice and then back to Karr and then back to his apprentice, he made a wide grim "Any ideas Reven?" he said to the Hapan boy wondering if he got the same idea as him.

[Reven]

"Even though a lightsaber can pretty much cut through almost anything, it is nothing compared to what one can do with the Force. In the past, we called people who were able to use the force names like sorcerers, wizard and witches. Which of course is perfectly understandable since one who doesn't understand what the force is might think of it as magic. Today there are two large and well known groups of people that use the force, the Jedi and the Sith " explained Reven trying to give Kharr somewhat of an idea what the force was since he made an educated guess that her master didn't explained it seeing how he was only concerned with lightsabers. Reven of course knew that there was much more to the force than it being a source of "magic" or power.

When Kharr told them the story of her killing a Jedi who couldn't fight back, Reven couldn't help but feel appalled at what she did. He of course knew that she fought in the arena with a rage that a wookie would be terrified of, but killing someone who wasn't able to fight back just shook Reven's very foundation. Ok, she only did it because her master told her to. it's not like she did this on her free will thought Reven as he took a deep breath and let the force's calming energy flow through him in an attempt to calm himself down.

Takumi would then tell the young cathar that she was too young to be playing around with the darkside and that they needed to fine a solution to this. When Takumi asked Reven if he had any ideas, the young hapan knew exactly what he was referring to. For a brief moment, Reven was very hesitant about what he should say next. There was of course a part of him that felt that everybody is naturally good, but there was another part of him that wondered if learning the force would simply make her a more efficient killing machine.

"Let have her learn the ways of the force seeing how meditation and simple calming exercises might allow her to control her anger problem" said Reven. However, even after he made that decision, there was still that small part of him that thought that this was a horrible idea and that it might add more fuel to the fire. Well at least I'll be able to keep an eye on her during our training thought Reven trying to reassure himself.

[Derriphan]

Her ear twitched at the word anger, as a hint of it rose in her then went away just as quick as it was there. Deep thriving anger that festered at the deep of her soul the longer it laid there, but who could blame her? Anyone who was a slave for that long, beaten for enjoyment, pitted against other creatures and slaves in life or death battles. No one came out innocent after those things, but in all oddity at some point in her life her mind had split. Saving her innocent side and creating a whole other side almost independent from her innocence.

Still sitting on the ground with her knees tucked into her chest she looked up at Takumi a little fear still residing in her after he grabbed her so harshly only moments ago. Takumi was looking down to her still speaking, something about the darkside, and oddly her body shivered in reaction to the word like it was almost used to feeling it and it was. The man before her said they needed a solution to this, a solution to her problem, and he continued to look from her to Reven and back to her. She turned her head and eyes lightly to Reven as he was explaining lightsabers and the force. She absorbed the knowledge like a sponge and listened carefully with open ears.

Reven had said let her learn the ways of the force, meditation, and simple exercises to calm he anger problem. Was it really going to be that easy? She recalled getting angry several times, but everything in the middle was so blurry and con strewed that she couldn't exactly make sense of it. Lots of movement, blood, hate and anger, it all seemed so familiar to her. Licking her lips she could taste it, and a gentle breath in and she could smell it. It made her stomach clinch and she couldn't help feeling at all lost in these thoughts that seemed to be so far away from her but so painfully close.

"What... what do I have to do?"

She asked, as she let go of her knees, than got up in one swift movement. Patting herself down from the ground she had been sitting on as she looked over to Takumi and Reven, her breathing calm but her mind clearly filled with thoughts over laying thoughts of death and destruction that was peaking through the cracks of her innocent mind. She felt horrible, like something bad wanted to get out at the people around her, she breathed deeply, trying best to suppress these thoughts that were at the very edges of this mind.

Takumi began removing his bulky robe while his padawan began explaining the girl what the force was, it was as good as an explination as any. The large human removed his bulky cloack, then he unclipped his lightsaber and stuck the large trandoshan sword in the ground. Takumi cracked his knuckles and then his neck, he smiled after Reven suggested a series of things to teach Karr.

"Aye, but that is for later" Takumi began making a ponny tale with his hair and continued talking "First we be needing and outlet for all at anger you got girly" He said after he finished his badly made pony teal, it revealed a moderatelu handsome face... a very manly and dirty one.

Takumi locked eyes with the former slave "Look at me girly" first he would have to brake her subsirvient pattern of thought "You are free now and you can do what ever the hell ya please" He made a confident and stupid smile.

She then asked what she had to do "Why open your eyes and hears, listen to the will of the force and your instincts" Suddenly Takumi charged toward the Cathar. "Listen to the force and dodge my punches without taking a step back!" He reached her and threw his left fist "Take a deep breath, stay calm and the force will provide" A right hook came.

"Don't let yar anger rule, isntead used it for focus, sense from where my next punch will come" A sudden left punch came again, fallowed by another punch from his left hand.
"Don't use your eyes girl! fool you they will!" He threw right hook once more.

Takumi would brake her servant like personality and pull out the real Karr and clean away the mud that had stained her heart and make the real cathar shine as she should be. A person aware of the force aware of a more rich form of living.

"Reven! see through the force and sense our emotions, see the darkness and the light, feel our emotions!"

[Reven]

That makes sense, I guess.. thought Reven after Takumi told said that the young cathar needed some kind of anger outlet. Since all Takumi did on his spare time when he wasn't teaching was drinking and fighting, it was very obvious to Reven that Takumi was going to use fighting as an outlet. However, the only concern Reven had was that Kharr was going to touch the Force through her anger which was very dangerous and addicting if Reven recalled his reading correctly. Takumi would then start attacking Kharr telling her to calm down and focus her senses, which relieved Reven a bit since Takumi was trying to get her to touch the lightside of the Force. As Takumi continued to attack her, he ordered Reven to sense their emotions through the Force.

Reven would then sit down on the cold ground siting in pretzel position and closed his eyes. He would then take several deep breaths in order to relax himself before focusing his senses on the two fighter's emotions. Sure Reven could have sensed them without getting into a meditative position, but Reven wanted a more accurate reading on their emotions and this was the best way to do it.

[Derriphan]

Kharr watched Takumi remove a layer of clothing. His light saber, cloak, sword, then proceeding to crack his neck and back. He was getting prepared for something, taking his hair and bundling it into a pony tail. Takumi locked eyes with her, and she stared back into his. Her ears flinching at his words. Listening to him the entire time she was supposed to stand there, listen to the force and dodge his punches. Standing her ground she moved as she felt the force guide her past the first left fist, and panic welled inside of her. The force guiding her pass the right hook also as she maneuvered her body around it.

Trying desperately to take deep breaths, "Don't let your anger rule" she heard last as another left punch came, and she took it hard in the stomach, also taking the next right across her cheek taking two steps back out of pain and losing a breath. "Don't use your eyes girl, they will fool you!" She couldn't help get angry, this punching she could remember it like yesterday. Anything moderately painful had a negative memory attached to it. Like when she was first learning Teras Kasi, beaten mercilessly by the first person that was teaching her until she got the maneuver right. Anger welled in her, and she fed on that like a horse who'd been deprived of water.

Drinking deeply of the lake of hate as she dodged the right hook effortlessly, but this isn't what Takumi wanted. Her vision became hazy, her eyes glazed over. Her neutral face slowly turned up into a smile, a creepy one at that as she took another step getting into stance. Kharr was gone, Takumi could see it in her eyes. The only thing that lingered right now was another side that had been long since named by the crowd. A Sith word, Derriphan, Derriphan meant Devourer in the Sith language and that is what she had did to a long series of opponents. Although oddly Derriphan was being more cautious, most of the time this personality was quick to get things done but not this time.

"Names Derriphan, nice to meetcha."

The face turned into a pure wicked grin, and the voice was still hers but not hers still at all. It scowled at Takumi, it hated Takumi, it wasn't Kharr's hate. This was a broken piece of her, a piece that had broken off and taken on its own personality literally. All in a effort to protect the shred of innocence that she still held. What ever Reven was feeling through the force, he could tell this was a totally different person. It wasn't the innocent Kharr that had all came to know over these past couple days. This personality was something that had come to protect her in all those years of fighting, and it was hanging onto that now. Trying to protect her once again.

(sorry for the extreme delay, some family stuff happened and my hands were tied, but everything is back to normal)

As Takumi punching kept going on and on, he began to feel hate and anger leak out of the pretty Cathar. The darkside was gaining unprecedented hatred in her mind, for a second Takumi mused the thought that in the future he might teach the girl how to properly use her anger.

Takumi retreated three steps back once he suddenly saw that Karr smiled a wicket smile.

"Names Derriphan, nice to meetcha."

The darkness said with a grim. Takumi awnsered with an equally large grim "Name be Takumi, I be here to give you a couple good ol' lessons" He was not afraid of Karr shadow, it was nowhere as deep as his. There was nothing to fear, nothing at all.

"Now, go gave you that pretty name eh?" he asked the darkness, remembering somewhat that the word came from the dialect of the Sith. Taku did not know exactly what word was it of course, it had been a very long time since he had last managed to read something from the Jedi archives and he never bothered to learn or memorized that section of lore.

Takumi remained in his guard stance and waited for the new arrival to attack him, all the while Takumi mind reached out for Reven mind leaving only four words.

"Just watch for now"

[Reven]

While Takumi was attacking Kharr, Reven paid most of his attention to Kharr's emotions since she was getting angrier by the second. As Reven felt this, a sudden chill went down his spine as a deep darkness within Kharr suddenly took control and it literally felt like he was sensing a completely different person. Reven would then open his eyes to see what was going on and saw the female cathar with a creepy smile. The young cathar would then introduce herself as Derriphan before her smile turned into a wicked grin that sent an even colder chill down the young hapan's spine as he reached into his pocket to take out his lightsaber. After Takumi introduced himself and asked what her name meant, he told Reven through his thoughts to watch which seemed like a good idea at the time until this thought went through his mind.

Wait a second, if Kharr doesn't remember anything that has happened when this Derriphan takes over, then does Derriphan have any of Kharr memories? thought Reven. If that was the case, then probably the most logical thing to do was befriending this other personality instead of fighting it. After all if she were to ever come out again in a fight, she might not only kill her opponent, but also attempt to kill him and Takumi. For a good minute, Reven tried to get his body to move, but it was too afraid to make a move. Reven would then tighten the grip on his lightsaber and got up. He walked up to the two combatants obviously frightened by the way his body was shaking, the way his eyes were full of fear and by how he was holding his lightsaber as if it were a talisman that would protect him from anything. As for the hand that was holding the lightsaber, it's finger was on the ignition button ready to press it if Derriphan moved in for the attack.

Even though all Derriphan's anger was aimed at Takumi and Takumi's darkness was deeper than her's the fact that she had no light in her scared the living crap out of him. After all, all beings had some kind of good in them no matter how evil they were, but it appeared to Reven that she didn't have a trace of light in her. Once Reven got to closest distance he considered "safe" from Derriphan, Reven asked "Excuse me Derriphan... um..., I just have one important question before you start fighting Takumi. Umm... do you have any of Kharr's memories? "
