(alright so I figure me and rugs do two rounds to set the mood and then get to the kid >:3)
Kajir slid back into his chair and gave a sighed of resignation as he sat. He threw the macrobinaculars on the small table next to the chair he was using. Kajir emptily watched out the windows and doors leading to a empty balcony he had been using to spy on the private school several blocks down the street. Surveillance was such a pain, a necessary trait for an assassin but still it was a pain in the ass to have wasted the whole day tracking glimpses of the kid. Kajir would have not minded if he alone had been given the assignment, but unfortunate he had been stucked with an idiot an impatient and annoying fool called Nieraan Onin, that punk of a Firrerreo had more than once today gotten in Kajir's nerves.
The human assassin began rubbing one hand on his eyes, he led out another puff of breath out of boredom and resignation. The only comfort for the Sith initiate was that the hour was nearing, school would end soon enough and the pair of Sith would be able to make their move and get this job finished.
The target the son of a wealthy business man and to boot someone related to Naboo nobility. The sith wanted to start negotiations with him and so far he had prove hard to deal with through regular means, so the Sith had decided to force him into negotiations. Kajir and Nieraan got the job as thugs, their task being fairly simple yet annoying. Take the kid with force if need be, get out of the region and wait on another group of thugs to move him off world. The only rules given was not to harm the child and do it quietly without alerting the security of the planet.
Kajir raised himself up and as he did the door slid open, without looking the human knew who it was. "You're late" the assassin complained while turning around to meet the Firrerreo "Did you get the land speeder?" he said in a rather demanding tone of voice. Kajir was no man of great patience by any means despite his exterior or his profession, there where day's when Arjun patience was short and by sheer chance this was one of those days.
Hopefully if that fool, got the vehicle and disposed of the kid's bodyguard and driver things would go smoother. The plan of Kajir own invention was Fairly simple, replaced the people who usually picked the kid in school. Drive away with the kid before he noticed what was going on and go to a temporary safe house and wait, until someone else came to pick the brat.

"Of all the people in that damn Temple to get stuck with," grumbled an irritated Nieraan as he went about hog-tying the speeder's usual driver, much to the man's distress, "I get stuck with that one."
Kajir. The idiot human assassin-turned-Sith that openly acknowledged that he was nothing more than a pawn to be moved around by those who were higher up or more capable than he. "Weak fool of a man," Nieraan muttered. What's more, the two Sith, despite technically being brothers in the order, didn't see eye-to-eye. At all. Nieraan despised Kajir's weakness, and he held no illusions that the other Sith liked him.
And that was why it was so incredibly frustrating to be stuck with him on a mission. Nieraan preferred working alone, and even if he couldn't, there were plenty of other Sith in the Temple he could at least deal with. Kajir, on the other hand, was near the bottom of Nieraan's opinion scale; he often wanted to hurt the man more than work with him.
Not for the first time since they'd been sent off, he found himself wondering if someone higher up in the Sith hierarchy paired them intentionally, as part of some stupid joke.
The cab driver tried to let loose a muffled scream against the gag that'd been forced down his throat. He got another hard knee to the ribs. "You know, it'd be smart for you to shut up," Nieraan warned as he finished and stood up, wiping his hands off on the long white sash that hung from his waist. "Only reason you aren't floating down some river is it'd draw attention." With a snort, he turned around and popped the speeder's trunk. "But you can go back here dead just as easy as you can alive."
Nieraan stopped halfway back to the bound driver as a thought struck him. As he looked down, he grinned wickedly at the man, flashing a grin that bared his sharp canines. "Actually, scratch that, I think I'll just choke you out."
The driver's eyes widened as Nieraan dropped to a knee to do just that. It didn't take long for the hand around his throat to send the man into unconsciousness and that was that. Into the trunk he went and off went Nieraan with the speeder.
Now he had to meet with his spineless partner.
-----------------------------------------------------
"You're late."
"Coulda fooled me," Nieraan answered dryly as he strode to stand behind Kajir. "I got here when I meant to."
"Did you get the land speeder?"
The Firrerreo looked at Kajir flatly and snorted. "No Kajir, I spent my time looking at the shopping venues around town." He shook his head. "Of course I have the damn speeder. It's parked little down the way," he'd make a jerking motion with his head, indicating which way he meant.
"What about you," he went on, walking over to the window to glance out toward the school building. "What've you been able to gather about the kid?"

Kajir stood up from his chair and crossed his arms, rising his eyebrow at Nieraan attempt at humor which failed miserably to stir something in Kajir heart.
"Yeah he is there, we should get moving" He said coldly while turning around and going went for a typical cab driver cap, with immense grace Kajir threw the hat his companion and the cap flew through the air like a throwing disk.
"At least wear that" he said briskly "by the force what are the Sith thinking" The assassin regretted deep in his head "They should have sent someone who was actually human, even Gabriela would have--- wait no... that Idiot would ruin everything" Kajir sulking was cut off and a irritation began growing in his heart at the thought of him being stuck in a mission with her, it disgusted and made Kajir realized that at least this idiot was a better partner at least he could work with this one.
"In case you have forgotten, the plan is this. You will be driving since your kind is not common here it would be best if you remain hidden, so wear the dammed hat and try not to draw attention..." Kajir spoke while he put on a very elegant jacket typical of his target family guards. "I'll check in for the missing guard and pick up the boy, get him in the speeder... Then you will drive slowly away from the school and we take him to the safe house in the outskirts of the town. We clear?" The assassin finished speaking and started to get ready.
One hour later
Kajir got out of the Speeder and without giving Nieraan a second look "Keep it cool Kajir said softly to his Firrerreo friend once he noticed a large band of children approached the speeder. Hopefully they would not tick off Nieraan with their silly questions about the speeder. Kajir set off for the school gate and was stopped not so surprisingly by a hag of an old lady who was acting as the gate keeper "Can I help you? I don't recognize you..." she spoke very politely but making sure it was a very demanding tone "Sorry I can't help you, I have something else to do" Kajir said while weaving his hand I'm sorry I can't help you right now, I have something else to do" The old woman said soon after, she looked very confused "You are going back to watching the holonews" Kajir said calmly again before he resumed his stride.
He spared one last look at the speeder to see how Nieraan was doing, the horde of children was still plaguing the Firrerreo sith. "Don't you screw this up..." was everything Kajir glare was saying. The assassin then put on a more gentle expression and kept walking. He noticed the kid in the courtyard with another mob of children.
Kajir weaved his hand to draw his target attention...

"Yeah he is there, we should get moving."
Good, Nieraan thought, looking out to the school building. All they had to do was pick him up and get away from him. Easy. So why was he not looking forward to doing it, if the task was to be so simple.
Kajir started to move, drawing Nieraan's attention. That's why. He watched the Human warily through yellowed eyes as he stood, drawing a hat. The hat was tossed. Nieraan snatched it out of the air and looked at it, then to Kajir, nearly glaring. You've got to be kidding me.
He could've done this mission alone. It wouldn't have been hard; drive up, grab the kid and get out. Why then, was he stuck with his insufferable lout? Nieraan snorted audibly. The hat didn't touch his head.
Kajir then drawled on and on, explaining the plan again as if Nieraan was an idiot. "Yeah, we're clear." He scowled for the moment, on the verge of saying more, but only shook his head. "It's a wonder I haven't killed you yet, Arjun. Let's go."
Without another glance back to his 'partner,' he started for the door, still holding the hat in his hand. "Oh," he started as he slipped out through the door, "don't open the trunk."
----------------------------------------
A bell rang.
For a few blessed moments after, the schoolyard around the drive was quiet. Nieraan was in the front of the speeder, hand thrumming irritably on the wheel, stupid hat resting on his head. There were other speeders around as well, of course, waiting to pick up their respective cargo.
Then the flood came. A tide of children burst from the school's halls, thrilled to finally be free after a long day of lessons. Their voice grated on his ears.
Nieraan just sat there, eye purposefully kept to the front as Kajir got out. He didn't even see the stupid glare the assassin shot back at him.
Just get the damn kid so we can get out of here Kajir.
Voice sounded nearer to the speeder and he stole a glance to the side. There were small children gathered around the speeder, shouting questions at him. He simply rolled the window up. It wasn't enough to keep the sound out completely, but it helped.
If Kajir took too long, Nieraan might just get out of the speeder and drag the kid off himself.

Ring.
The sound of the bell brought the headache back to the forefront of his thoughts as he wondered why anyone would create such a thing. Lazily he picked up his bag off the ground with a quick sling so it could hang lightly from his back. Whilst he got out of his chair once again the same people gathered around him with a greedy look on their faces. To the others in this pit he called school they would be considered the best, the most popular but to him they were merely shadows hoping to catch some of his fame and yet not one of them would grow up to be anything more than trash to be swept up in a sea of mediocrity. Some of them might get some fame but for the most part they would fall just short of any notoriety once they left this small dismal educational system.
Everett might be the closet thing they had to potential but his alcoholic instincts had played in more deeply than even Gendry might have realized at first, and it seemed as though he would simply follow his father’s footsteps as a washed out junkie who leeched off the wealth of others. Few of these children had a spark of ambition but like his father the heir had been instilled with an almost perfect sense of the next trend. Some day he would take over his father’s Holodesigning business and when he did the entire galaxy would know his name. It wasn’t a hope, but instead a promise.
Gendry’s fingers ran through his thick brown hair as he walked towards the exit to the room whilst those around him spoke in a fervour amongst one another about this and that. One would bring up a subject that the others would quickly revolve around and all the man in the middle would have to do was nod his head a bit to make it seem as if he was interested.
“…don’t you think, Gendry?” One of the unfamiliar ones asked him. His name might have started with a K. Maybe Koda or Kolten. Something like that.
His complete inattentiveness had made him totally oblivious to the nature of the question that had just been asked. In lieu of sounding like a total dumb ass he simply responded, “Honestly, what you just said made no sense, Kolten.”
That name seemed to sound right on his tongue and the light in the kid’s eyes seemed to suggest that he had been correct in his assumption. This brought upon another ramble from some other little kid until the were safely out of the hall and on their was outside. A man he’d never seen before waved towards him, which was odd. The last guard had seemed somewhat competent. Maybe he was just sick or something.
“Well it seems as though my ride is here, “ he said rather brusquely as he walked off towards the guard who was supposed to keep him safe. When in proximity of the man he asked offhandedly, “Who are you? And where is Rodriguez?”

There it was, Gendry surrounded by a cloud of other spoiled and "lucky" kids, who as of yet still retain their meaningless innocence, that meaningless thing Kajir wanted to protect so feverishly for future generations.
Kajir stopped weaving and waited for the brown haired child to come close to him and the child walked past him. Kajir mearly followed from behind, keeping himself only three steps behind Gendry. The boy asked about the now dead bodyguard, this poor Santos fellow.
"He is indisposed, apparently he and a couple of the other service people ate something... that didn't do them well" Kajir spoke coldly and to the point. "My name is Rembrant Nadin, I was hired last week" Kajir spoke but he never looked straight at the kid, it would seem like he was looking over him but the trained assassin was looking at his sorroundings for any complications.
They walked past the main entrance, Kajir merely gave a goodbye nod to the old hag in the gate and kept walking. "The driver also got sick, so he is another replacement" Kajir spoke as he opened the door of the speeder for the young boy. Kajir closed the door and gave another look at the street for any security force or any complication but there was no one that may hinder the mission in sight.
Kajir then seated next to the shrinked Nieraan "Let's go" he said passively to his fellow sith. Now his "brother" would simply have to drive them out of the city and into the country yard where the safe house was.
"There was a change in schedule, your father told us to take you to the country house, outside of town... he said he had a special surprise for you" Kajir spoke without looking back and merely watched the streets. With that lie it may be enough to at least get the boy out of town without causing a scene.
If the child got to troublesome, a stun blast should do the trick. Kajir unhooked the safety of the blaster he was carrying casually.

For a long while, Nieraan sat. He sat and waited in the speeder, eyes closed and trying to ignore the tide of children that flowed around him. Their chatter was loud and nearly as annoying as the constant ripples their gathered presences sent out through the Force.
Most of the unending wave ignored him and ran on to the speeders that waited for them, if they were so lucky, or if they weren't, to walk home. As his yellowed eyes slid open, he watched them ease around school yard and his speeder in a great amoebous blob. Not for the first time, he wondered exactly why he'd been chosen for this mission. And who signed me up for it? It had to be a joke. It had to be. Working with Kajir was bad enough. Getting stuck with some prude of a child would no doubt threaten to drive him to the brink of insanity or murder. Perhaps both.
As if sensing his irritation, a little knot of kids decided to come over to him. They harassed him through the window with waves and shouts of "Hey mister!" Their efforts were met with a simple, flat glare from Nieraan. He wanted to leave. Very much.
Where the hell are you, Kajir?
He could still feel the other Sith's presence over the sea children and faculty. At least he seemed to be getting closer. Nieraan turned to look toward the approaching presence. He nearly sighed with relief once he saw the assassin approaching with some dark-haired kid in tow. Must be Gendry. He sat up, cracking his knuckles and starting the speeder back up. Surely Kajir wouldn't have messed up on the first step. Nieraan certainly hoped not; he'd just go find the kid himself if Kajir had already screwed the pooch.
That would be something none of them would want.
Fortunately, Kajir was not a complete idiot. Kajir let the kid climb into the back and then got into the front with Nieraan. Nieraan was pulling away from the school before Kajir even opened his mouth. For a moment, Nieraan wondered what it must have looked like from Gendry's point of view, having a driver that looked like he was barely out of his teen years. Like I dropped out of school. Not that he'd ever been schooled formally, but that was a moot point.
The drive was easy. Nieraan had taken time to families himself a bit with the streets of the city when he'd been taking the ship back to the meeting place. The navigator built into the speeder's dashboard helped, too.
"Won't be long," he said brusquely as they neared the outskirts of the city. "Just gotta go a little way out into the countryside."
