Race: Human
Age: 15
Height:4'5
Weight:117 lbs.
Appearance: Kate has dark brown, almost black, hair. Her hair goes down to the middle of her back and she likes to wear it up. Sometimes however she leaves it down if she doesn't feel the need to put her hair up. Kate has hazel eyes that have all eye colors mixed in, and her eyes constantly change colors according to her mood. Nobody ever sees her out of her Jedi robes while she is out and about the temple. Sometimes when she is in her sleeping quarters she will wear her own personal clothes. These include the usual attire of pants and a shirt.
Birth place: Naboo/Selton
Faction: Jedi Order
Rank: Padawan
Bio: Kate was born and raised on Naboo. About a week after she was born her mother Mista and her father Jake got in a fight. Eventually Kate was left with one parent to raise her, her father. Mista was fed up with Jake and decided to take off, and it became apparent that she didn't care for poor little Kate either. Luckily her father did love her very much, and he did all that he could to protect her and raise her to be a beautiful and strong woman, or in this case girl.
At the age of 3 Kate taught herself the basics of the alphabet and she learned how to write her name. Her father decided that she would get a head start in life if she knew how to read earlier in life, so he taught her how to read and write better. Occasionally her father would tell her stories about Jedi. Kate came to admire the Jedi even though she had never met one. She had high hopes that she would one day become a Jedi herself and help protect the Galaxy.
When Kate turned 4 she questioned her father about the Jedi but to her dismay he didn't know very much about them. One day a stranger came to their house. Her father answered it and quickly got Kate. He told her that the man standing in front of her was a real Jedi. Kate was so thrilled, and she had so many questions to ask him. Before she got to those questions she was told that the Jedi had come to take her to the Jedi Temple to train because she was strong in the force. Kate couldn't believe that her dream was coming true. Her father however didn't share that excitement he was very sad. He said that he would think about it. The Jedi nodded and left without another word. Kate wondered if he would let her go.
A week later her father finally came down to the decision that he would let her become a Jedi. He brought her to the Jedi and said he would let her go. The Jedi asked him if that was really what he wished. Kate's father hesitated for a moment and finally said yes. He said that she would be able to live a better life with the Jedi. After a few minutes of saying goodbye Kate was taken to the Jedi Temple.
There Kate trained and grew stronger in the force each day. When Kate met her masters she was very obediant. It was her life dream to become a Jedi afterall and she knew that listening would be the best learning skill to have. The more Kate trained with defferent masters the more she respected them. It wasn't that she didn't respect them before but she grew a sort of trustful respect for them. Kate trained as hard as she could and she wanted to train more than was required but the Jedi wouldn’t allow it. They said that Kate would tire herself out easily. Sometimes Kate would train with swords to better her strength with weapons. Kate wanted to focus more on her fighting skills than her force skills. She never really knew why she preferred combat over meditation.
While training Kate would make a few friends and they would talk about what they were learning about the force and sometimes even ask for help. Kate was a very gifted and hard working girl. She wanted nothing more but to prove herself worthy and not let the Jedi down.
One time she was fighting a fellow youngling named Sophie. They both were very skilled in melee fights. Sophie was the top of her class and Kate was the 2nd best in hers. Kate had challenged Sophie and she gladly accepted. They both faught with all their might. Sometimes Sophie would jab at her stomach and Kate would respond by jumping to the side and attempting to attack her from behind. Eventually they both got tired and they agreed that it was a draw. Kate approached her and they both talked about how they could each improve in their fighting forms. Kate had found her best friend in the academy, Sophie.
When Kate was 12, almost 13, she was put through the youngling trials to see whether she was ready to become a Padawan or not. Kate used all of the skills that she learned throughout her years in the Jedi Temple. She was eventually said to be ready for a master. She was chosen to be Atu Soka’s Padawan.

Why did this have to be so hard? All she wanted to know was what happened to her parents. She tried to concentrate again, but she was interrupted by a knocking sound. Kate looked up and said “Come in.”
Her best friend Sophie came in. “Hey Kate how are you?”
“Good”
“I was wondering if you could help me with something”
“And what would that be?” Kate asked a little suspicious.
“Well, I kind of lost my Lightsaber and I wondered if you could help me?”
“Sure I don’t have anything better to do, but don’t you think it’s a bit late to look for it?”
“Well, yes but I can’t risk not finding my second Lightsaber.”
“Alright let’s go” Kate said while standing up.
First Kate and Sophie checked in the training room. Kate figured that she probably lost her Lightsaber there. They searched everywhere but couldn’t find it.
“Sophie where exactly did you go today?” Kate asked curiously.
“Well I was in the training room all day. Oh I also went to the cafeteria”
“Alright I suppose we’ll go there next.”
Kate and Sophie quickly and quietly walked around the halls of the temple. Eventually they arrived at their destination. They searched all over but they still couldn’t find the missing Lightsaber.
“Well I guess we should go to bed Kate” Sophie said sadly.
“Here I’ll walk you to your room." Kate replied trying to comfort her friend.
Kate and Sophie made their way to Sophie’s room. They quietly chatted along the way about usual stuff such as training, force practice, and friends. When they opened Sophie’s room door they found a surprise on her bed, it was Sophie’s Lightsaber. Sophie ran to her bed and picked up her Lightsaber. A note was attached to it saying: You must learn not to lose your Lightsaber, as it is your life and your weapon. Kate was happy that her friend finally had her Lightsaber back. With the Lightsaber found Kate headed back to her room exhausted.
