Name: Malus
Race: Human
Age: 54
Height: 6 ft. 6 in.
Weight: 210 lbs.
Appearance:
Malus is grotesquely scarred, wounds he deservingly received from Grey Jedi Skiie Kalleim. He wears gray and black cloaks, preferably those with large hoods to cover his disfigured face. His lips are permanently scarred into a terrible sneer, a trait that heavily accentuates his black and cruel heart. He has no eyes, but with the help of machinery and the Dark Side of the Force Malus has regained his sight. His arms and legs are nonexistent, yet again his prowess with the Dark Side and machinery grafted to his body allow him to have appendages. His android limbs are much slower than his previous arms and legs, but what they lost in speed they gained in both defense and strength. His back is badly scarred as well, from his childhood punishments under his terrible master. Malus wears black gloves and boots that cover his android appendages, but nothing can cover the constant robotic noises of his limbs.
Personality:
Malus has two incredibly defining traits.
The first is his uncontrollable anger. Malus has alway had deep aggression in his heart, a trait that adds to his abilities in the dark side. He finds himself in rages very often, usually ending with murder of any living thing near him. Very rarely does Malus not kill an enemy while he is in a rage. The few times when he spares someone they are not allowed to go free unhurt.
His second trait is his need for destruction. Malus loves to cause pain to others and especially to destroy what they hold most dear. His abilities in harming others are quite exceptional and inventive, tending to end in death and terror. This need for destruction often occurs in periodical chains of serial killings. He simply feels the urge to kill and does so to whomever he chooses. His victims are rarely similar since he does not have a fixed type of person he prefers to kill, other than Jedi which he will hunt for very vigorously.
Malus can never obtain anything fairly; it must always be stolen. He never carries any sort of currency because of this habit. He never steals any currency either, as it would be more direct to steal what he wants in the first place rather than pay for it with stolen money.
Malus was once a womanizer of sorts. He was handsome in his earlier life, rarely spending a night without a woman's company. However, now that his disfigurement disallows any consensual acts with a woman he tends to take such acts by force, leaving the woman dead in an abandoned location afterwards.
His hate for the world itself is very strong. He does not seek any sort of happiness amongst the cultures, only their destruction. Some consider him to be insane in this regard, others see him as revolutionary.

Bio:
Born on the planet of Tatooine to the slaves Mina Bodoche and Alan Ronius, Malus was sold to a Dark Jedi as an infant. His parents were owned by a renowned slave trader named Re'lo Schluck, a man that often did business with Dark Jedi. Re'lo would test any slaves he came across and if they showed signs of force sensitivity he would sell them to any of his Dark Jedi associates. In this case, Malus showed some of the highest midichlorian readings Re'lo had seen. He immediately contacted his associates and sold the child to the highest bidder.
Lucien Merridius, the Dark Jedi who bought Malus, was not necessarily an exceptional user of the Dark Side; however, he was rather wealthy and so easily obtained the child. Lucien was a violent man with only one passion, his fencing abilities. The art of fencing was taught to Malus before he began to wield a lightsaber, a training that lead to early prowess in Makashi.
Malus was heavily disciplined by his master, disciplines that more often than not involved lashings and beatings. This abuse fueled Malus' future hatred and anger, along with his powerful fighting style and prowess with the abilities of Destruction. Any and every mistake the boy made was punished, amplifying his need for perfection in everything he was taught.
Malus constructed his lightsaber very quickly, with only a few mistakes and lashings from his master. He chose purple as his blade color, as it was his master's most hated hue. Lucien was furious at the choice, but after a few beatings and seeing the resilience of his acolyte he allowed the boy to have his way with the weapon.
In Malus' first explosion of rage, he tapped into the Force and choked one of his servants. His master had just finished scolding and punishing him for his temper during training, only leading to an increase in his fury. The servant entered Malus' room without asking permission and interrupted the boy's meditation, leading to her slow and unfortunate death. Lucien was not furious, though. He was almost jovial about his student's harnessing of such a power at such a young age.
Lucien did not allow himself to live in a single location. Instead, he and Malus traveled the galaxy on Lucien's starship. Lucien's passion for fencing and his unending supply of money led the two in pursuit of any and all Jedi they encountered. They never dueled these Jedi honorably though. The two would only battle if they had an unfair advantage in numbers, a two on one battle to the death. They never hunted more than one Jedi at a time, occasionally sending scouts to track those Jedi they observed while tracking their current prey.
Lucien gave his Acolyte very few personal possessions. Malus was allowed only two sets of robes so that he must wash one pair every night, and only one lightsaber which he was not allowed to wield unless the two were training or battling a Jedi. Lucien made sure to keep Malus' lightsaber in his own possession after every such occasion.
In the countless battles and training sessions the two underwent together Lucien noticed one important thing about his apprentice: his power. The boy fought with a primal instinct of strength. He was by no means a well toned boy, yet his hatred and anger gave his fighting style a vigorous and unmatched set of deadly blows. In fact Lucien's most repeated scoldings included his apprentice's rash action of power during battle. Malus would sometimes throw aside the formal teachings of lightsaber combat and deliver unorthodox swipes and stabs of hatred. These actions won them a few battles, catching the Jedi enemy unaware, but it also scared Lucien in their training sessions; a fear he would never admit to his acolyte.
As the boy neared his knighthood Lucien grew restless, expecting Malus to overthrow him. Malus himself was forever on his guard against his master, sensing this fear and the unpredictable actions it might ensue. Soon though Lucien did allow Malus the title of knight on one condition. Lucien told Malus that he must find a replacement for himself, a new student for Lucien to train. Malus agreed, thankful to be so close to freedom from his master's terrible clutches.
Malus was allowed his own starship for this purpose, a small freighter with a large crew to keep an eye on the boy. He was no allowed his lightsaber, as it would only be open to Malus if he was indeed granted the title of a knight.
Malus scoured the galaxy for two years, searching many planets for a suitable apprentice for his master. Malus would sometimes return with several children, but they would all be unacceptable to his master. Malus believed this to be an attempt of Lucien's to keep the boy under his control, but still he tried to please his master.
Finally Malus found an orphaned child on the streets of Coruscant and tested its blood himself. The baby boy had exceptional counts of midichlorians and no present diseases. He had a full head of blond curls and an ornamentally freckled face. Malus found himself thinking the child was adorable.
Lucien found the child to be a product of his dreams and immediately began training its mind. Malus asked if he could now be his own man and continue his training alone. Lucien denied his request, demanding he help train the child. Malus found himself both relieved and disappointed. Disappointed because he had spent so long on trying to leave this place, and now he had found himself betrayed. He was relieved, though, for he had not wanted to leave this child to the clutches of Lucien. He found himself caring for this small child, almost loving it.
Lucien had sensed this love of the child, as it was what he had been waiting for all along. He could not allow his apprentice to leave him; Malus was far too strong of an asset to be let go. The child gave Lucien an anchor in his now knighted apprentice, holding Malus in his clutches for much longer.
Together Lucien and Malus trained the boy, Vint. The two would fight each other if Vint made a mistake, Lucien wanting to punish him and Malus forever trying to protect him. This increase of tension and fear heightened Vint's awareness of his masters' hatred for one another.
Vint did very well with his training, keeping to his masters' every words. He was allowed a lightsaber even sooner than Malus, though his pick was unpredicted given his orthodox and by-the-book nature. He chose a double bladed saber, a type of blade that only Lucien had experience in. This meant that in order to further train Vint only Lucien would be necessary for most of the training lessons. This gnawed at Malus' nerves, knowing that his pupil would be alone with that terrible piece of garbage. It also worried Malus. He began to wonder if Lucien would try to turn Vint against him. If Lucien had tried such tactics they were ineffective. Vint was still very much attached to Malus and often requested to duel him after training.
Now the three Dark Jedi hunted and killed Jedi together, sometimes Lucien would allow his two apprentices to go on alone and he would watch the battle from a close distance. Lucien would never allow the two to hunt together completely alone though. He feared his hold would be lost on them both if Malus convince Vint to leave with him.
Once Vint was knighted Lucien sent the two to Artus Prime to buy a few Artusian crystals for his new lightsaber, his old age disallowing any such act of himself as the air was too polluted with dust there. This would be their first mission alone and Lucien allowed it after warning Malus that if he ever did leave without Lucien's approval he would hunt and kill the both of them, Vint first.
The two landed on a passenger shuttle, their master unwilling to even land his ship. Immediately boarding the shuttle Vint whispered to his master that he sensed two Jedi. Vint was very skilled with his senses, his abilities mainly deriving from the Force instead of lightsaber combat. Malus himself was not very skilled in the Force other than his powerful destruction skills, so he trusted his apprentice's abilities and asked if anything could be derived from the Jedi.
Vint decided the two were closely related, most likely father and son. They were not of the Jedi order but were nonetheless skilled in the Jedi ways. They were searching for the crystals as well, an unexpected coincidence.
Malus found this very exciting. He told Vint they would not even leave the ship, rather they would allow the party to find their crytals for them and steal them later. Malus often did this when his master sent him after something he was expected to pay for. What was the sense in trivial things like bartering when he was able to take what he wanted? The latter was much more fun anyway.
That night they sneaked into the duos room, finding that they were infact accompanied by a female as well. After obtaining two of the sacks of crystals hidden underneath their beds Malus reached for the third and found himself initiated in a duel with the youngest of the group. The young knight had awoken and drawn his lightsaber almost too fast for Malus to guard against. Malus then found himself on the floor atop Vint, a strong kick to his ribs sending him flying away from the bedded knight.
Once the two had stood again the two Jedi had also been on their feet with their blades drawn. Vint's orange saber glowed like fire in the dark room, his eyes fixed on the older Jedi and determined to take his head. Malus would never forget that sight.
Vint launched an attack, the young headstrong fool. The younger Jedi clearly had no knowledge of the double-bladed style, his defenses very sketchy and unpredictable. The older Jedi, however, had a very distinct knowledge on defending against the unorthodox saber.
Vint began to launch himself back to his master's side, his sole purpose to test the two combatants and find their weaknesses. He did not make it back to Malus' side, however. Instead the older Jedi struck Vint down right before his eyes. Vint fell before Malus' feet, his eyes bleary and void of his previous determination. All the boy's fervor had been replaced by fear. Malus saw his student's life flow out of him and when his heart ceased to beat Malus took the boy's lightsaber to his own belt then lost his composure.
Malus charged the two, his rage far and beyond his control. He quickly found himself fighting only the older Jedi, the boy on the ground trying desperately to regain his footing and stand. The Dark Jedi forced his opponent to his knees with strong downward thrusts and with one final downward blow he turned around, sensing the woman behind him. She shot her blaster and instantaneously found the blast in her torso, rebounded off of Malus' blade. The older Jedi rushed to his wife and cradled her skull, then his own skull was detached from his body via Malus' blade.
Now all that was left was the young one.
The young Jedi came at Malus with anger similar to his own, the lightsaber being swung in unorthodox and powerful strokes that were nearly impossible to avoid. The Dark Jedi went to block a seemingly powerful swipe but instead met the tip of his opponent's blade with his own eye. The searing pain drove Malus mad instantly. He swiped the boy's lightsaber form his grip and jabbed his own hilt into the boy's temple. The Jedi fell to the floor, disoriented and fearful.
Malus began to torture the fool for his arrogant attack on the Dark Jedi, and also for the revenge of his counterpart. Malus took pleasure in the destruction of this Jedi's face as he sliced small wounds into his previously perfect complexion. He had always loved to torture the other Jedi he had encountered, but this one was by far the most glorious. He loved the taste of this revenge in his throat.
Finally he scalped the Jedi and promised him he would forever fear the name of Malus. With that he left, carrying the body of his apprentice and the bags of crystals for his master.
Malus entered Lucien's chambers shouting at the aged man, still carrying his dead pupil's body. Malus blamed Lucien for all of this, his need for the lightsaber crystals so high when he could barely fight with his preexisting lightsaber. Lucien felt the anger and hate of Malus very clearly, more so than he had ever before. The Dark Jedi Knight meant to murder his master.
Lucien sensed something else in Malus though, his guilt. Malus had blamed Lucien, but he knew that it was in fact his own fault. He had wanted to steal the crystals when they could have simply bought them. It was his foolish need to do anything terrible that had led to the death of his apprentice, and in that case it was his own fault the boy was dead. Lucien proclaimed this and Malus was pushed over the edge. Lightning shot from Malus' fingers and engulfed his master in terrible blue energy. Lucien was dumbfounded as he was lifted into the air and tortured by this power. He had never learned this technique himself, though it always been one of his ambitions. He had never even seen it, and now as he witnessed the power of the technique he knew it would also be his end.
Even after Lucien's feet ceased to kick and his tongue lolled about his mouth Malus still continued his surge of power. Eventually Lucien's body was charged and smoking, bringing Malus back to his senses. He had lost his anchor to his terrible master, and had sunk his master as well. Now he was in charge of himself. He would finally be his own man.
Malus slept that night aboard the ship, ordering the servants and crew to dispose of Lucien and to take the ship to Coruscant where they would cremate the fallen Vint. Malus' dreams were tormenting, his vision never deferring from the moment life left his friend and student Vint. For several nights this continued, eventually bringing Malus to one of his rages. He attacked and killed several of the crew, wounding most of the survivors with extremely dangerous slashes. Once the ship reached Coruscant Malus left with Vint's body alone. After the ceremony he returned to where the ship had docked but found it gone. The ship had left him here, the crew's fear and hatred of the Dark Jedi too high to stand his presence anymore.
Malus was not surprised, nor was he angry at them. He hadn't wanted to go back to that cursed ship and see the corridors and bedrooms without his beloved Vint.
Malus instead ventured across Coruscant, hunting Jedi of all types. He only did this for a few nights though, the few that he found being incredibly quick to fall. During these few nights he did find something he would otherwise not have expected. One of the Jedi, a Dark Jedi like himself no less, had an apprentice. A mediocre apprentice, but an apprentice no less. He took this acolyte on as his own after displaying his power on the boy's master. The young boy heartily accepted the offer, terrified of this demon man. Krinn was the boy's name.
Malus killed a pair of Ithorians and stole their tickets to a passenger ship bounded for a planet farther from the core. They steadily made their way from the core to the outer rim where they happened upon the planet of Felucia.
Here they lived in seclusion from the bustling cities of the galaxy and instead slaughtered whatever animals they found here on this savage planet. Malus trained his apprentice here, finding the boy's abilities meek and in need of real training. The forests teemed with life and he gladly decreased those numbers. Malus loved that he could destroy anything he wanted here, fearing nothing in this world. The natives did not try to fight him, as they saw his impressive skills. They thought him a god or a devil, none could decide what to refer to him as.
Malus furthered his lightsaber skills here on Felucia for years, mastering Shien and beginning training in both Backhanded and Juyo. He let his rage guide his blade and the power he felt with Juyo instantly became his preferred and core form.
He found the nights restless though. He would dream of his friend and companion falling before him, his powers unable to save the boy. He would awake, crying and angry at the Jedi for taking him. Malus would then go through the forest and express his rage upon the wildlife, searching for the larger creatures and hoping they were in a pack to further challenge him.
Eventually he found the planet no longer to his liking. His sleep had been disturbed every night for several years and he finally realized why. He craved more revenge. He had left that young Jedi to suffer, but he never finished the job. He must finish it.
Malus left Felucia with Krinn and started his search with the passenger ship he had fought the two Jedi on. The ship was found in the inner rim, docked on Onderon. He asked the captain forcefully if he remembered the boy who had lost his parents on the ship. He had been scalped and his face had been heavily tarnished. The captain agreed he remembered. The family had gotten on at Yavin IV and had returned there in shambles.
Malus headed for Yavin and found the boy's name to be Skiie Kalleim. He had in fact been trained by his former Jedi Knight father rather vigorously as a young boy and then as a man. Malus cringed as he heard the name of his target. The name lead him throughout the galaxy, the boy had obviously been a traveler of some sort. Along his path Malus had left a trail of bodies, some of which had been important and respected men. He had destroyed penthouses and servants for fun, easily escaping detection and continuing his path of revenge. The people he killed were by no means intentional targets, he simply saw them and had the urge to kill just as he would commandeer the nicest starship he could pilot in order to continue his quest. He would spend nights in cantinas drinking and yelling at others, telling them that he could kill everyone and the galaxy wouldn't cared. Needless to say he attracted attention.
A large bounty was posted on his head, the one eyed Dark Jedi. Bounty hunters of all sorts came looking for Malus throughout his years of searching for Skiie. Some came close to actually hurting him, but all of them met their doom at his hand. He enjoyed the terror he put in these men and women, those feared by others who would now fear him.
His path lead him to Nar Shaddaa, there he found his answers to where the Grey Jedi had been. He had in fact went searching for Malus with a bounty hunter. An unlikely but potentially fortunate turn of events. So Malus decided to let the Grey Jedi come for him.
He sensed the boy one evening, making his usual murderous rounds in the dark city streets of Nar Shaddaa. His hate and anticipation was very strong, strong enough for the poor senses of Malus to pick up. His apprentice, the bounty hunter, now walked beside him. Originally Malus had fought only as a pair with his former master, then he began dueling other Jedi one-on-one. Now he would have a disadvantage, a fact he very much relished
Malus led the two to a secluded and rotten building. They thought they were tracking him, but in fact he was the ring leader of this “pursuit.” He stopped in a dark room and looked out the glass. Krinn was down there and Malus nodded, signaling for the now knighted Dark Jedi to stay there.
Skiie entered the room with his bounty hunter friend Trey. The battle almost immediately began with Malus' purple blade aggressively slicing through the air at the two.

(Very close to finishing the Bio. Everything else is just waiting for review.)
