Trouble on Tatooine

The Supreme Chancellor had requested a personal meeting with Jedi Knight Wolf Doim. The Chancellor trusted Doim with his life, so the Chancellor gave Doim vitual information to the Republic. "Guard it with your very life," said the Chancellor. Doim agreed.

Meanwhile, the Council assigned Doim a mission on Tatooine. He was to locate and bring a bounty hunter, who repeatedly tried to assassinate the Supreme Chancellor, to justice. However, the Jedi and Senate had yet to realize the assassination attempts were really a plot by the Sith Empire. A Sith Lord soon discovered that the very man who was guarding the information was on Tatooine, searching for this "bounty hunter". This bounty hunter was actually a Sith Padawan named Cayden Caldin....

Cadyren Caldin had returned to Tatooine, had it only been a year since he had left the small repair shop to pursue a life as a Sith? He walked down the exit ramp of his newly acquired ship, his black cloak trailing behind him as his feet. He had been sent to the planet disguised as a bounty hunter, in order to spy on the hutts and maybe try and convince them to join the Sith empire. It was a mission that normally wouldn't be given to someone of Cadyren's rank, but the Masters had figured that seeing as he had lived on the planet he would be better able to navigate through the planet, and more used to its hot climate.

Other then his cloak, Cadyren wore a bit of armor. It was light, so that Cadyren wouldn't be to hindered by it, but it was also durable. It wasn't the prettiest suit of armor either, but that mattered little to Cadyren, he just needed to keep up the disguise. He also had a blaster at his side, though to be completely honest he did not know how to use it. He had never really fired one before, only wielding a saber in combat. His Lightsaber was clipped to his belt, however it was hidden by his cloak so that he wouldn't give away his true identity.

Cadyren then left the starport and entered the city of Anchorhead, trying to decide on what his first move should be. As he searched he began to have a strange feeling, like something bad was about to happen to him. I better keep my guard up. Cadyren thought as he began to move through the crowd, trying to figure out what or who it was that was going to cause him harm.

Wolf saw Cadyren, sensing the dark side. The Jedi looked closer, seeing the same time of weapons found at the crime scene, used to attempt to kill the Chancellor. This wasn't no mere coincidence. Wolf ignited his blue saber. Wolf walked toward Cadyren. "Stop!" Wolf shouted, "In the name of the Galactic Republic, you are under arrest and will be taken into custody!"

Cadyren could sense someone strong in the Force, as he reached out with senses he found that it was a Jedi. Turning quickly, Cadyren spotted the Jedi, who had already activated his Lightsaber. Cadyren quickly weighed his options, he could try and fight the Jedi. Cadyren was powerful for a Force sensitive of hiss age, and might be able to stand a chance against the Jedi. Or he could attempt to flee. It would make it easier for him to maintain his disguise if he were to retreat from the Jedi now, and perhaps try and kill him quietly later. He decided that this would be the best action. He quickly unholstered his blaster and fired at the Jedi. The first two shots were complete misses, but the three after that were aimed directly at the Jedi's chest. Cadyren then turned and ran , squeezing off three more shots as he did. He began to push his way through the crowd quickly, trying his best to also hide his presence in the Force.Whether or not it worked, Cadyren figured he would find out pretty soon.

Wolf ran after Cadyren into a Cantina. When they were finally in the Cantina, Wolf used the Force to close and lock the doors. "Resistance is futile," Wolf said firmly, "surrender or be killed." Wolf stood in his Form III stance.

Cadyren eventually decided to move into a Cantina to confront the Jedi, there would be plenty of stuff for Cadyren to throw at him and distract him with so that he could move in for a killing blow. As he entered the Cantina he threw off his cloak, also removing and dropping pieces of his armor as well.

As the Jedi entered he locked all of the doors using the Force, telling Cadyren that resistance was futile, and that he had to surrender of be killed. "I thought Jedi were supposed to be about peace and all of that crap" Cadyren responded as he pulled his Lightsaber off of his belt and ignited the dark green blade. He knew now that he wouldn't be able to get out of this without a fight.

As the Jedi took upon the stance of Form 3 Cadyren couldn't help but let out a chuckle, "So you are going to kill me with Form 3? You have to be joking." Cadyren said as he took the stance of Form 5. It was based upon form 3, with many defensive maneuvers being taken from the form. However Form 5 was more focused on turning the opponents attack against them, then pressing the attack. Knowing the maneuvers of Soresu gave Cadyren an advantage over the Jedi, one he planned on exploiting. He decided to let the Jedi take the first move, then retaliate and show him that he needed to be careful with who he messed with.

Wolf knew Form III would not help in this situation. So he changed to a Juyo stance, due to it's aggressive and vicious form. Wolf swung at Cadyren, while at the same time using the Force to pulled a table at Cadyren from behind.

One thing most people didn't know about Form V was that it had a strong defense, so when his opponent came at him, Cadyren managed to easily parry the strike. Cadyren smiled, but only for a moment. He sensed danger, and quickly jumped to the side, watching as a table flew right past him and, now that its target had moved out of the way, towards the Jedi. Cadyren quickly rolled to his feet, raising his lightsaber in front of him as he did so. Whether or not the table hit the Jedi, Cadyren moved forward to attack him. He began a quick sequence of attacks, aiming for his opponents torso and head with each strike in an attempt to quickly kill him.
