Name: Trelgas Herasi
Race: Miraluka
Age: 23
Height: 6 feet
Weight: 145 lbs.
Appearance: Trelgas is a relatively thin build, though he does have some muscle on him. He has black/silver hair that is rarely seen due to the fact he always wears a cloak with a hood that conceals his entire upper face, since he has no eyes as a Miraluka and he feels the need to hide it, as does the rest of his species. On his cheek, just visible under the shadow of his hood, is a thick scar that runs from his chin up to his upper cheek bone.
He typically wears all black robes with purple and red embroidery and runes when on worlds of unsavory type, such as Nal Hutta or Nar Shadaa, or in Sith Space. When in Republic Space, he wears more earth-toned robes of the Jedi in order to avoid drawing attention to himself. No matter which robes he wears, underneath he wears grey garments with black bracers, in case his robes get in the way too much and he must remove them.
Personality: Trelgas isn't a very talkative being, though when he does speak, he tends to be heard, if only because of his calm manner of speech. He is very cunning and devotes time to meditate on plans before he actually implements any. He is an assassin through and through, preferring stealth and speed over power and brutality, but if his stealth fails... Trelgas will be as brutal as a Marauder. This is especially true with Jedi AND Sith as he views the Reborn Sith Empire as weak and the Jedi he hates due to his experience with them.
He may be a Dark Jedi, but he prefers not to harm innocents unless doing so will assist him against a Jedi. He is very resourceful and can improvise very well. Trelgas fights dirty, using any advantage he can, but he doesn't like direct combat. His standard style is to be on the defensive, taunt his opponent, and wear them down before striking. While he is in Republic space, however, he stays on the downlow, hiding his alignment with Force Stealth and merely observing. Trelgas feels that the Sith should become stronger before revival, so he also targets Sith, just to show them why they should have stayed hidden.
Birth place: Alpheridies
Faction: Dark Jedi
Rank: Knight - Assassin
Bio:
Early Years - pre-Jedi:
Trelgas was born to parents that worked as all Miraluka have done at some point; as farmers. They were very happy to have a child and did their best to treat him with care. He had a bit of an adventurous streak and often would disappear onto the farm, but the droid (his parents had saved up to get one) would always find him. It eventually turned into a game to him. That is, until at six years old, he was surprised by the droid and he threw a small stone, about 6 inches across, at the droid without touching it. Trelgas, pleased, told his parents, who then took him to the Jedi.
Early Years - Youngling Training
Trelgas had been accepted into the Order and he sought to please the teachers. Of course, being a child, he played many games and was caught and reprimanded, and so he learned the rules. He showed great interest in star maps and often would sneak into the Archives before being found. He would innocently claim he was studying star maps, which was truth.
Aside from star maps, he showed interest in defensive styles of combat, never striking at the training remote unless he was confident in the fact the remote was defenseless. One of the Masters took this into consideration as he grew and came of Padawan age.
Early Years - Padawan Apprenticeship
Trelgas was given the Twi'lek Master Heft Lindan as his mentor. They quickly established a Force Bond as the boy had total trust in the Council's judgement at this point. One of the first Force abilities he wanted to learn was Force Stealth, which he had read about in one of his Archive Dives as they had come to be called by one of the other Padawans. Heft was slightly amused by this request, and said he would teach it to him later.
Now, Trelgas excelled at the defensive forms and not so much at the offensive forms. Once he had been exposed to the defensive forms and mastered Shii-cho, which occured at around 15, he was granted permission to craft his lightsaber. As he considered what he favored, he built a double-bladed saber, remembering how he saw one in action during a training expedition when he was 10. Trelgas had devoted extra time to working with his new saberstaff, though Heft had begun to teach him Force Stealth, as he had promised years ago. He devoted a full three years to mastering Force Stealth and his double-blade.
Mid-life - The Fall into Darkness.
Trelgas was 18, having mastered Force Stealth and a decent fighter with a saberstaff. He could drive MOST duels into a stalemate, though he would still lose often. He and Heft were sent on a mission to Tatooine in order to eliminate a Dark Jedi who had taken residence there and was causing some trouble. At first the fight was going well, Heft and Trelgas fighting valiantly, until the unthinkable happened. The Dark Jedi tricked them both and impaled Heft, killing him instantly.
Trelgas was infuriated. His mentor and friend was just slain and he could have prevented it! He retreated and waited a day. Using his new Force Stealth, and a change of robes to a more Dark manner, he approached the Dark Jedi from behind and said, "This is for my master, you good-for-nothing wretch." Once he had said that, he ignited his saber and impaled the Dark Jedi from behind.
Mid-life - Attack on the Miralukan (Not High) Council
Trelgas returned to his homeworld and walked into the meditation chambers, still wearing his dark robes. One of the two members that sent him on the mission was present, alone. He accused him of sending Heft and himself on a suicide mission before striking him down with a surprise attack. Just before he died, the master dealt Trelgas a blow from his cheekbone to his chin, resulting in his scar. Using Force Stealth, he slipped away unnoticed and waited. The second of the pair soon arrived to the Enclave and Trelgas waited still. He waited for a number of days before the Master was finally vulnerable in his sleep, and so he came up and slew him.
Mid-life - Hiding and Finding a Master
Trelgas managed to get on a ship and fled to Nar Shaddaa, where he quickly got a home for himself. He realized that his lightsaber color would now give him away to Jedi who knew him, but he didn't know how to get a different crystal. So, he reconsidered his methods and he knew he needed to be calmer and more in control, even while angered. Once he decided this, he sought out a master, since he knew that the Jedi would never accept him again. Eventually, Trelgas found a fellow Miraluka Dark Jedi, who attacked him. Trelgas fought defensively and drove the duel to a stalemate. Now that he knew what Trelgas was capable of, the Dark Jedi accepted him and finished his training, but instead of healing, he taught him Destruction. It wasn't until he was 21, a span of three more years, that his training was complete, but he wasn't ready to be more than an Acolyte. He needed to find a purple crystal, as he found evidence of traditional Dark Side being red and he didn't want to be found by a red blade.
Near Present Day - Finding a Purple Crystal
Trelgas spent some time travelling the galaxy, often in his original Jedi robes, trying to locate a purple crystal. Nobody seemed to know where one is... That is until he discovered a star map that gave the co'ordinates of a planet in Wild Space. He took those co'ordinates and rented a ship to travel there. It was Hurikaine. He landed and ran into the sentient beings there. Trelgas wore his Dark robes, and so the sentients were skeptical. One approached him and he killed it quickly. The others attacked him and he fought them for a couple hours, even cutting away his robes to fight easier. He eventually beat all four that attacked him and took two of the crystals they were made of before leaving. It had taken him a year, but he finished his saber and he returned to Nar Shaddaa and became a Knight. He spent another year honing his skills and now he is looking for a place better suited to him.

"This is for my master, you good-for-nothing wretch!" He had said before igniting his lightsaber and slaying the Dark Jedi. With satisfaction, he watched the body fall in slow motion and he walked away, heading for the ship he had rented with his master. Anger surged through his body as he flew... They would pay...
Trelgas awoke on a bunk in his little storeroom house on Nar Shadaa. He sighed and got up, quickly dressing in his dark robes and grasping his double-bladed saber. "And so a new day begins, oh trusted blade. Let our enemies fall if they challenge us." He smirked and hooked his saber to his belt sideways, so it remained hidden. He opened the door and looked around, noting where some people were gathering. He may need to remember that.
Trelgas snorted before walking purposefully through the underlevel of the moon. The surface level was still above him, but he didn't care. You don't tend to care for views when they hold no true purpose. Every wall was transparent to the Miraluka, due to his Force Sight, and Nar Shadaa was pretty much all walls. He eventually came to a stop and kicked in his Force Stealth. When away from his home, Trelgas tended to be careful. He saw a Duros approached a Twi'lek and he listened in.
"...best you can get right here!" The Duros said. "Don't you have a way of lowering the price for such a fine crystal?" The Twi'lek replied. "Perhaps... but you'll only get 50 credits lower." Trelgas approached the two. "And what crystal are you selling?" He asked, as calm as ever. "Oh. A brilliant crystal from Dantooine." The Duros answered nervously. "Hm. And why are you selling it to a non-Jedi? They have no purpose without being one." The Duros gulped and backed away. "You're right..." He fled and the Twi'lek pulled a blaster on him.
"I needed that crystal! How dare you interfere with my affairs!" He cried. Trelgas shook his head. "Oh, you are naive." He fired a tiny burst of Force Lightning to paralyze the Twi'lek temporarily while he kicked the blaster out of his hands. "Now then. Will you leave peacefully, or must I kill you?"
The Twi'lek, determined and not at all afraid of a Force-user, drew a knife and leaped for Trelgas. The Miraluka reacted just as fast, drawing his lightsaber and igniting it, leaping under the angered alien and raising one of the blades, cutting into and killing the Twi'lek. He put his saber away and headed back to his home. He needed to reconsider his path.
