Race: Human
Age: Twenty-three years old
Height: 5’2”
Weight: 112 pounds
Birth place: In the Oberon Villa, Alderaan

More of her: 1 and 2
Ariadne is a rather short young woman with a slim physique, though she is also curvaceous. She has very pallid skin and even sports freckles upon her oval face as well as high cheek bones, she has dark brown wavy hair cascading only past her shoulders almost reaching her waist. Ariadne has large green eyes with a blue-ish tint to them, a small, yet pointed nose and has large tremendously soft and rosy lips. Her appearance gives her an otherworldly sort of look and aura to her. Ariadne rarely wears any make-up when she does it is usually light and made to enhance her already quite beautiful features. She tends to dress extravagantly despite the oddity to it, and still she cares not for what others think of her dressing. She tends to enjoy putting on many jewelries, scarves and decorations to her outfits. She even loves dressing in many colours like a rainbow and doesn’t like wearing masculine clothing unless she has to because she enjoys wearing colours, beautifications and trinkets.
Personality: Ariadne is not the most talkative of people and she doesn’t enjoy joking around at all. When she does speak, which some deem to be rather seldom, she speaks strictly to the point and only wishes to hear things of intelligence or important matters. Her voice is rather monotonous and dreamy. She is seen by many as quiet and thoughtful, though she has her moments when she doesn’t appear to be severely serious as she can behave rather quirky. She likes to dress extravagantly and wears a lot of jewelry, and often of which many other women would dare not wear. Ariadne doesn’t fear being different or looking different than others and instead embraces it and thinks not much of it. Many find her to be unpredictable as she barely tells others of her plans and do things, as others see, randomly. When many may assume her to do something one way, she tends to do it in a way that many would never assume. She is also very curious and likes to slam as much information about anything into her already intelligent mind.
When angered, she shows no anger and does not resort in yelling but instead showing the other person that she is upset by presenting a disappointed facial expression. Ariadne when sad tends to enjoy solitude and loneliness and cries silently alone hiding where no one can suspect her to be, but when in the presence of others she shows no tears because she doesn’t like showing her emotions. Ariadne, though she may be a good public speaker and leader, enjoys working on her own which sometimes gets the worst of her since she declines all of offers for help and if she does accept it, it is because she either trusts the person greatly or she has asked the person to stay out of her way. Ariadne is completely confident in everything she does and has faith in herself, though not so much that she is completely arrogant but enough to show that she is sure of her path.
Ariadne doesn’t like getting other people into her own personal problems or any problem for that matter, and she cannot imagine another person getting hurt for her sake let alone dying to save her. Ariadne doesn’t let the thoughts of others get into her mind as she only thinks as she wishes to think, yet she will listen to another person if their reasons sound logical to her. Many see her as quirky and silent, though wise in her own way.
Ariadne is very caring for she will help anyone who is in need of help and she will sympathise with anyone regardless of whether they are good or evil, which is one of her faults. Because Ariadne has a secret kindness and overly caring personality, which she doesn’t show much, she will help others no matter what which gets in a lot of trouble some times. Ariadne doesn’t like to show her emotions and hence why she always looks so emotionless and serious. She is also doesn’t like to get too close to other people as she is more into her career and future plans then relationships, she can be a bit of a workaholic at times. Ariadne scolds people sometimes, though she her voice is monotone as she does so.

Bio: Julio Oberon worked in the government during his youth and later in life, he was offered the position as senator but rejected. He instead became a part of the High Council of Alderaan. Ariadne’s mother Inaya Candela was from a poor family in Naboo, her parents owned a restaurant there. She became an artist and after a few years of hard work and struggle, she became successful as people began to notice the aesthetics and creativity behind her artwork. And so Inaya became an acclaimed artist and eventually on Alderaan, she became an author of several award-winning novels. Ariadne’s love for the arts likely stemmed from her mother. At the age of twenty-two, Inaya left to travel to various planets in galaxy, hosting her art exhibitions. It was through this that she met Julio, who was three years her senior, in Alderaan’s capital. After their first meeting they continued to and their relationship grew into a romantic one. Soon the two were married, even though their parents were not at all pleased by the idea. Ariadne’s older brother Marcus was about born a year after the marriage. After the following two years, on a warm summer’s day Ariadne was born. Then a year after Ariadne’s birth came her younger sister Adila’s birth on a spring morning.
Julio Oberon and Inaya Candela-Oberon had a home which belonged to the noble Oberon family. It was a villa located on the side of a mountain called Medea above the village of Bonte Tress and nearby were lakes and endless plains. There were times when her family went on trips to their summer home nearby the ocean during the summers, during holidays and breaks in schooling. The three children were taken care of by their mother, who had taken time off of work, in the beginning until Ariadne and her younger sister Adila became a little older to be cared for by a nanny. Thus, Inaya went back to work once more as a writer and artist.
Ariadne did not befriend many children during her early childhood as she and her younger sister were confined to the villa and were not allowed to leave without parental supervision as they were very young. They, instead, played by themselves together in their home. But when they did attempt to escape and play outside of their home, their servants often caught them and brought them back indoors. By the time Ariadne was six and her younger sister was five, they were given tutors who were to teach them what every young noble girl should know, especially manners and behavior expected of nobility. There was one tutor unlike the rest named Kalila from Bonte Tressa, she taught Ariadne many things about the galaxy and life beyond what the upper class saw. Unlike Adila who was labeled ‘unladylike’ and hard to control, Ariadne listened inventively and paid attention to even the smallest of details, but many of the tutors found her to be a little too quiet and having as much emotional capacity as a robot. Ariadne’s grandmother was distraught by Adila’s behaviours and their relationship was far from close, Ariadne was not pleased with her younger sister’s behaviours, despite being close to her. She was jubilant to see her sister change as she became older. In contrast to her sister, Ariadne did not openly display her disagreements with her grandmother, and rather she chose to remain quiet and obedient, still retaining her own mind.
Once an older child, Ariadne was allowed play-dates and small tea parties with other noble children of Alderaan. She loved reading books as much as her younger sister Adila did as Ariadne enjoyed not only reading educational and things in which were deemed important, but things in which involved the life and adventures of others as it interested her so. Ariadne’s brilliance at a young age as well as Adila’s studious behaviour caused their father to believe that both his daughters would follow his political career if not his son Marcus, who displayed a spoiled and self-centered streak as once he learned to speak. Ariadne didn’t like her brother’s façade-like personality, but loved him as much as she loved the rest of her family and could completely understand why he would be so proper and condescending when in the presence of other nobles, it had been what he had been “taught” to do by his tutors and especially, his grandmother.
Ariadne was sad to leave behind her tutor Kalila as the young girl would drown her in all sorts of questions about the universe. Ariadne’s brilliance as a young child showed forth the fact that she had wide-ranging potential at being a senator or perhaps a part of the High Council or government of Alderaan. Ariadne was enrolled into Alderaan Select Academy for Young Ladies. Ariadne was both thrilled and nervous about going to the school, but soon she came to love the lessons she was receiving. She was not at all close to any of the other children as they came out as loud and obnoxious to her. Ariadne could put up with her sister, but not any of the other children. While during the breaks the children played, she sat away from them with a book in hand. Ariadne was well-liked as she was quiet and kind for the most part, yet there were times when some of the girls would become rather aggravated at her seeming lack of emotion and her dominant sort of attitudes. Ariadne, with her sister, was let to go to Chandrila for the Legislative Youth Program because of their father’s hope that she or her sister would put their leadership skills and initiative to solve things to good use. Ariadne was more than excited as she was to see other planets as it was something she had longed to see since she was a little child. Ariadne attended the Mock Senate on Chandrila finding it absolutely enlightening and interesting while pretending to be a representative of Alderaan.
Once she was older she began to wander the streets of both Hanna City on Chandrila and Alderaan without the worries and watchful eyes of adults. She often went on short trips and excursions with her noble friends, both male and female, to the village below Mount Medea when in Alderaan. When she turned thirteen her younger sister Cala was born. Around this time she also developed her first crush on a boy, one of the nobles in which she knew during her early childhood. Soon she entered the Alderaanian Apprentice Legislature, attending summits and workshops in which were provided for her and other children her age during her adolescent years. Entering the Alderaanian Apprentice Legislature she thought was a good idea, not because of what it had to teach her, but because from it she learned that she no longer had any love for politics and would prefer to put her attention to the arts much like her mother did. And yet she still stuck with the program until the end of school to ensure that in case the arts were a bad idea, she had something to fall back upon.
Ariadne’s life in the Alderaanian Apprentice Legislature was much more enlightening to her than her earlier life with tutors being stuck indoors. She was able to interact with peers her age, but because Ariadne had been around more adults, her parents and tutors, Ariadne felt a little more ahead of peers because she was less inclined to act foolishly and took her work very seriously. Many of the other students looked at her as an overbearingly dictatorial and quiet girl who was very firm when cooperating with them and their work. Despite her soundless demeanour and her stern behaviours, Ariadne was keen with making new friends. Ariadne did not discriminate when making friends (because of her kind heart in which she often hides and instead showcasing an emotionless person) and was not only obsessed with work as she wished to further understand the lives of others. When leaving the institution she was thoroughly heartbroken to leave the many friends in which she had made and promised to meet them some day in the future. She did, like any other girl her age, have a few crushes and others in her institution in which she adored and idolised. Ariadne was not keenly interested in slamming information about the senate and so she took most moments of her free time to read and research about the planets in the outer-rim. Ariadne did find much discrimination still amongst the galaxy as well slavery and other issues being, Ariadne was upset by this but still found politics not of her interest despite her wish to help out those less fortunate than she.
Once she reached of age she was to go to the Alderaan University. And it was by this time that she felt as though she could not continue with politics and she was completely sure of herself and her decision. She wished to go into an acting career and so she went to Coruscant where the branch of the university provided her what she needed as well as an agency she could easily go to within Coruscant. Around the time that she was nineteen, she became famous and well-known. She proved to be an excellent actress, and she was a better actress than she was a political figure. She was in one specific film in which made her status as an actress fly upwards. The film was named ‘The Curse of Immortality’ in which was about a woman by the name of Elysian who met a nameless sorceror and because of her beauty asked Elysian to claim her utmost desire in life. The woman delightfully replied with: “As many lives are there the jots of sand in which lay peacefully in my hands”. From there on the woman had the power of living forever, but soon the woman did regret her words as she was held prisoner in a jar for the sorceror and she wished to die for her foolery. The film’s plot was a very tragic, yet intriguing tale in which had an interesting message for those who understood it well, “Never wish for long life as death exists for a reason”. The music and acting all together for the film was tremendously done well, for Ariadne’s first movie ever, her movie moved the hearts of all those who watched the film and Ariadne had put her own self in the shoes of Elysian very well- stemming from her ability of being far too sympathetic. The fact that Ariadne was both confident and humble made many admire her. The film was not expected to be as successful it was. It was not only because of that role of Elysian that she became well-known, but she began engaging in singing lessons of various types- opera in particular. Meanwhile she was also auditioned for many theatre and operas, yet she was not given a role for any of them as she her singing wasn’t quite up to their par. But Ariadne never did give up and continued auditioning for films and soon was in a few more films in which scooted her up to stardom. Ariadne went for films in which were original in not only plot but characters as well since Ariadne enjoyed getting the most dramatic and enthralling of roles- something she quickly become known for among her audience. Her university life was far more enjoyable than her other school years as she was doing something not only she so longed to do but she made many friends.
During her time in university she made various friends and one friend she made in particular was one kind woman by the name of Eurynome. Eurynome was Ariadne’s best friend as the two fully understood each other, coming from similar backgrounds and having similar tastes in almost everything. Eurynome was also an actress and was already well-known. Ariadne’s friendship with the older woman became known to many causing those who initially knew not of Ariadne’s existence, know of her. Eurynome died in an explosion after she had gotten into a vehicle with a drunken friend, Eurynome and her friend both died. The death of Eurynome was very wide-spread and shocking news. Ariadne had fallen into a slight depression after her best friend died so awfully, but Ariadne learned from this experience. She learned that there are things in life that one cannot control and there are things in which she could not prevent despite her ulterior wish. Soon time passed and she left university become a full-fledged adult and full-time actress, it was even not long before Ariadne become a very famous and desirable actress known to many. Ariadne lived with her sister in the building 500 Republica, but a different apartment for the past two years. Because her sister became a newly elected senator, she came to know many other senators besides her sister and other political figures.
Time passed and Ariadne fell in love with a man by the name of Otos Yin who owned a small restaurant not too far from her apartment. They had met when Ariadne had left a meeting with her manager and went to the restaurant for lunch. Otos had approached her recognising immediately who she was. The two talked about Ariadne’s movie for quite some time before Ariadne began to probe Otos with questions about his self. Ariadne met him a couple times more due to liking him for his kindness but soon she could not meet him again for a long time as she was busy with her next film. As a result of her success of her next film, she was given a small puppy from Otos Yin and in whom she soon named the puppy ‘Scudder’.
The film was about a girl, Demeter, who had to rescue her mother from hideous, evil creatures, the amount of action as well as Ariadne’s performance had made her soar through the roof with utmost fame becoming even more well-known than her beloved deceased friend Eurynome. Ariadne once more resumed continuously meeting her friend Otos Yin and soon the two became very good friends. He came to her auditions and taught her new recipes, it wasn’t long before the two became lovers. But the relationship became as short lived as a pathetic flame as Ariadne clung to her work more firmly than she did the relationship. Ariadne did care for Otos, but he had become too unromantic for her liking and found that her job had more affection than he did. Ariadne recently broke up with her ex-boyfriend Otos Yin, yet still remained as good friends. Ariadne lives still as an actress in Coruscant with her puppy.

It was not long before she arrived at her destination. Getting out, she thanked her driver and hurriedly rushed to the studio where she was to prepare herself for the happening in which was to come during sundown. Many stared at her exaggerated, peculiar outfit but Ariadne cared not and went directly to the director. Not too far off from the director of the whole performance and production was her manager who gave her a wave. Ariadne beamed at him forcefully- as she did seldom smile, even doing a weak bow. She turned to her director as he began to speak.
“Despite our lack of getting a hold of you today, we all know you’ll do a fantastic job, Ariadne. Just get changed into your clothing and come back here so we can do our last few dress rehearsals. Luckily enough, the performance doesn’t start till 21:00, so we have quite some time.” The director said, putting a kind hand on her shoulder. Ariadne nodded before going off to her dressing room with one of the make-up artists.
Ariadne sat comfortably in a chair in which they had provided her under some bright set of lights, she peered into the mirror looking at her reflection while they began to comb her hair and braid it into a long ponytail decorated with flowers and such. After her hair was done, they quickly covered her face in make-up, in which felt caked on as she seldom wore make-up and if she did it was mainly light.
She felt confident in herself as even more so as the director hadn’t told her that he felt that there were problems with her singing, yet it could have been that because she was well-known that they were more lenient on her than some of the other not so well-known actresses and actors. She sat firmly, thinking over the lyrics in which she had to sing and the movements in which she had to act out. Ariadne was later given a nice flowing blue dress with a matching headgear for it. She headed off to the studio to begin the extensive dress rehearsal in which awaited her.
The dress rehearsal went well, it was not Ariadne who took the whole ordeal seriously who messed up while acting and singing, and yet she hadn’t been granted the time to practice as much as the others during the duration of the time from when the production began taking place to the day before the production itself. They had taken a break for dinner, Ariadne engaged in much merriment before they had to practice one last time. Many found it unbearably boring when she began to speak of her schedule and of things in which many deemed as ‘dull’. After one last rehearsal, the director applauded her and complimented her work. “It’s been a great time working with you, good luck when you’re out there, Ariadne.”
“Thank you, sir.” She said without any thankful speech patterns recognisable, yet a grateful smile was etched onto her beautiful face and this time it was not forced. With that she left him to do whatever on Coruscant he was to do while she was acting.
So it was time for her period of practicing to be truly tested, it was the real deal and not the mock performances they had done only a few moments before. With the other actresses and actors she marched to where the whole play was to take place. It was 23:30, very late, Ariadne truthfully felt tired –her eyes felt heavy as though made from metal- because of her going to bed late the previous night but she was eager to do her best and have the most fun in which she could while preforming. Shortly came the performance and she was there singing and moving with the music it lasted for two and half hours before it ended with a whole round of strong applause. Her acting had been superb and many looked upon it as a splendid example of a fine actress. Many of her fans had come out that night to which she was glad for.
When the performance was undeniably over, she was sitting in her dressing room once more but rather than putting on her costume, she was taking it off as well as getting rid of her make-up. She embraced in long hugs with some of her gleeful coworkers and such before heading off back to her home at 500 Republica. She was happy to see her sister who told her that her performance was brilliant and not before long, the two were home together. After an hour or so of waiting, their older brother Marcus arrived from Alderaan. Ariadne embraced him in a long hug but after some time of greeting, and bidding both her older siblings a ‘goodnight’ Adila went to bed in her own apartment as she was exhausted. Turning to her brother Ariadne forced a smile.
“A room has been provided for you just down the hall.” Ariadne said serenely without a hint of a sisterly voice. “Food will be prepared in the morning by one of the servants. I have to work tomorrow, but we can have lunch as well as supper together.” With that Ariadne left to her bedroom. Clad in her nightgown and lying in her bed, Ariadne shifted into the world of dreams and sleep.
