((Continued from Darkness Falls upon Saleucami))

Night settles across the great forests of Saleucami, plunging the land rich with thick vegetation into darkness. A crimson skinned figure dressed in robes black as the darkest ebony abyss quickly sprinted across the pathways crisscrossing throughout the forest, hungrily awaiting the moment when he finally happens upon his enemy, a Dark Jedi Master. The figure stops short of a steep cliff edge, eyeing the landscape with bloodred eyes, his muscles slightly flexing as his breathed in deep the scents of the flora around him. Where are you? Where could you be hiding... He spoke in a soft whisper, talking to himself was a common occurance, for there was usually no one of worth to talk to, the only people he knew were people he'd been on previous missions, such as the Twi'lek Pilot and Mechanic Donnie, the Sith Twi'lek Initiate Var, and the Noghri Cho Wroth. The figure pulled his hood down, revealing rather startling facial features, such as a pair of ebony horns protruding from his skull, and a mouth full of razor sharp teeth.

The figure smiled, he remembered how he arrived on this planet. He and Cho Wroth were tasked by the Sith Grand Council to answer a call by the locals of Saleucami to deal with a band of Pirates and a band of Dark Jedi. Cho went his own way to destroy the Pirates, while he was tasked with annihilating the Dark Jedi. And who was this figure? This figure was Doviculous, a Sith Devaronian male with a taste for murder and destruction that borders on the line of full blown sadistic. With one quick toothy smile, Doviculous bounded over the edge of the cliff, using the force to slow his fall as he plumeted nearly 30-40 feet down onto a lower part of the thick forest, and continued his quest for Dark Jedi blood...

Tywin, Dark Jedi Master

Tywin sat cross legged in the middle of the forest. The young Firerreo wore a black shirt over brown pants, with his staff lying in front of him. Well young probably wasn’t the right word, Tywin was in his early 30’s. However he still appeared to be in his late teens, he seemed like he was only 17. It made it hard for some people to take him seriously when he talked to them, but there were a few that could see his Firerreo traits. His hair was both dark brown and blonde. His skin was golden, his eyes possessing a nictitating membrane.

Next to the Dark Jedi was a young Shistavanen name Rylon. He was in his early twenties, and had been Twyin’s apprentice for nearly 10 years. He had light brown fur that covered his entire body, and looked like a lupine monster waiting to pounce on the first creature he found. He simply wore a pair of pants, with a belt. Attached to the belt was his lightsaber, well it was actually Twyin’s but the Dark Jedi maser believed that his apprentice needed it more then he did.

“It seems we have a visitor here.” Twin said with a smile, a chuckle escaping his lips as he sensed the presence of another Dark Sider. “Why don’t you go welcome our guest? He seems eager to meet us.” Twin said, his voice showing that he was amused with the situation at hand. A Dark Sider was trying to find them, probably kill them, but Tywin could tell that the fool was years younger then him. He might not even be able to handle Rylon, who could barely defeat a Jedi Knight.

Rylon got to his feet, flexing his claws as he began to mentally prepare himself for the battle that would surely ensue. If the pup survives this then perhaps he will be worthy of being my apprentice. Twyin thought to himself. He had begun to doubt his apprentice’s ability the past couple of months. How the fight ended would prove whether or not Tywin’s doubts were right or if he was just expecting too much from his apprentice.

Rylon, Dark Jedi Marauder

Rylon didn’t look at his master as he stretched his muscles, preparing himself physically for the coming fight. Mentally Rylon was always ready. He was a predator, a member of a species bred to hunt. He flexed his claws as he began to advance into the tree line. As he passed by the first tree he leapt forward, landing on all fours and sprinting forward.

Rylon moved with surprising speed. He was a blur as he moved through the tree line, maneuvering around trees and over roots with a practiced ease. He sued his sense of smell as much as the Force to help him find his target, which was a little ways off from him.

As he drew near, he slowed his pace and began to move on his hind legs. He suppressed his presence within the Force, so that his opponent would have trouble finding him. That meant that he couldn’t use the Force to find his prey now, only his nose and ears. They were enough however, and he quickly found his target. Let’s see what you’ve got fool. Rylon thought as his hand fell to his lightsaber. He quietly unclipped it from his belt and began to tail his target, keeping his presence within the Force hidden. He moved quietly, doing his best not to make a sound. He had to wait for the opportune moment to strike, to maximize his chances of victory.

That moment came in his prey leaping off of a cliff. Moving quickly, the Shistavanen sprinted from his cover before he also leaped off of the cliff. His prey was using the force to slow his descent, so Rylon quickly overtook him. Before the two would have collided Rylon activated his lightsaber, the silver blade shooting forth fro the hilt with a snap-hiss that would give him away. It wouldn’t matter though, he had the advantage now. He quickly made a cut towards his prey’s head with the blade, trying to cut of one of his horns and also striking through his skull with the blade.
