Note: Aun is like...5'6" so she's fairly tall....poor Harmony xD
”You had instructions to stay out of the main city, you know…”
Yes, Aunna knew quite well what Vex had told her to do and not do while he was away, but she had seen the local reports recently. While they had assisted in saving a couple of children from a building, collapsing because of a fire raging in it, the good deed had attracted too much attention. No one had seen them slip away amongst the confusion and thanks to Vex’s talents, but people had seen them…the news was circulating swiftly that the so called traitor and her dark jedi counterpart had been in Iziz.
”Yes, Eressea, I know what my instructions are, however, this is something important that needs doing,” she replied into the com line that connected her to the draconic shaped REA who stayed high and out of sight.
Truthfully, Aunna was being as cautious as possible and refused to go any deeper into the capital city than the very outskirts. She had chosen a day that the rains were fairly constant so that a hood over her head would hardly be anything to take notice of, but allow the auburn color of her hair to remain hidden until she could get her hands on a new color. Black, perhaps, and go without her green contacts…black would do well to cover the natural golden-brown of her hair even with the auburn color that she’d been using recently. Another wise thing to look into would be a forged ident-chip, and here on the outskirts and lower levels of Iziz was about a good a place as any to look into those things.
The rain’s patter across her leather hood and jacket stopped as she stepped into the shop she’d looked up earlier and nodded with a smile to the young woman manning the counter. She looked extremely bored and didn’t even manage more than a mild upward motion of her head in return as the new ‘customer’ moved along into the aisles. Eressea muttered a few, grumbled, comments about water into her ear as she adjusted the sleeves of her jacket over the armor she and Vex had…procured…out on Dxun so that it settled more comfortably. Swiping a bit of rainwater from her coat, she paused before the hair colors, eye sweeping swiftly over them before grabbing four of what she wanted and heading up to the front to pay.
“That’s a lot of coloring…”
”Hmm? Oh I know. Heading out into the black for a while and I like to be prepared.”
“Spacer? Not surprising.”
Well, wasn’t she the lively little shop tender? The near monotone of the girl’s voice spoke more clearly of boredom than even her body language did. It was a little sad, actually. Pulling out the required credits, she’d lean lightly on the counter, attempting to get a good feel for the girl before her through the force, but something else was nagging at her. She just wasn’t sure what.
”Boring day, hmm?”
“Psh…it’s always like this. One, two, three, four and five – twenty is your change.”
Aunna chuckled softly at that and nodded, taking her change and slipping it into one of the pouches on her belt as she tied the bag shut at the top to help keep the rain out. ”I see. Well, I hope things get at least a little more interesting for you today so you don’t die of boredom.” With another smile, the tall woman stood from leaning on the counter and started for the door to the shop.
