Name: Gasan
Zeltron's do not appear to have last names (Delilah Blue the only exception I can find), perhaps having to do with the way child rearing is more of a community effort, in any case, Gasan is the only name she goes by
Race: Zeltron
Age: 26
Height: 5'6"
Weight: 130
Birth place: Zeltros
Appearance:Lithe bodied, pink skinned, long purple
hair usually done up in elaborate hairstyles. Emerald
green eyes that often sparkle with mirth. Considers her
body a canvas to be painted, wears makeup in bright shades
and exotic designs (think fantasy makeup.) Loves using
shimmering powders, glitters, jewels and sometimes even
feathers with her makeup. She loves big peices of jewelry
or peices that make noise either clinking or chiming or
perhaps jingling, anything to draw attention. Clothing
should also be attention grabbing, with indecent cuts,
outrageous colors, fun patterns, and loads of style. Shoes
and accessories can't be lacking in style either.
Personality: Gasan is all about letting the good
times roll. She loves to be the center of attention and
has to be the life of the party. She needs constant
stimulus and gets bored easily. She wants to be a big star
and bask in adoration, bringing happiness to the masses.
Her morals are a little skewed by most standards as her
compass is guided by pleasure and entertainment value.
She's a little naive and selfish but means well.
Occupation: Bartender, Hairstylist, Starlet
(wannabe)
Rank:
Skills:
Tumbling/gymnastics - Gasan most enjoyed arts that
required physical exertion, she's actually got a lot of
body strength and speed due to this, at least compared to
the standards off Zeltros.
Dancing - Gasan holds dancing in a very high regard, she
maintains that you can tell a lot about a person by how
they dance. She also has a great time dancing so spends
much of her free time on the dance floor.
Charisma - Gasan was trained to companionship and
entertaining, but most importantly, to steer conversations
and activity to those things acceptable on Zeltros. Due
to this Gasan has a knack for subtly or even unsubtly
influencing people.
Equipment:
Zeltron lute: Gasan enjoys playing and making up
lyrics for a lark. She recieved the lute from her father
as a parting gift when she told him she would be leaving
Zeltros. He informed her that music was universally
understood and would aid her.
SD2-Light Blaster: Silver coloration with custom pearl grips inlayed with gold featuring some traditional Zeltron scrollwork and an adage typical of Zeltron beliefs, "Nothing by Halves".

Bio:
Gasan was the 5th of 8 children her mother bore. She's
aware that her father sired another 6 but she never met
most of them. Her father stayed with her mother the first
few years of her life to help out and still visits Gasan
from time to time. After that there were other father
figures in her life that came and went easily. She liked
them all well enough and most of them still regard her
with some fondness. She had a happy childhood, anything
else would be unthinkable on Zeltros.
Gasan was not particularly attached to any one person but
rather drifted to wherever the best entertainment could be
found. This is common on Zeltros where the community all
has a hand in raising the children. One adult served as
well as another and it was the same with friends or
siblings.
Gasan ran with an ever changing retinue of friends always
seeking the next bit of fun. Fun for Gasan often meant
sneaking into shows or exhibits considered unsuitable for
children. She was often caught but this merely led to
being escorted home while the one who caught her recounted
fond memories of their own curiosity when they were young.
She learned, as all Zeltron children do, how to behave and
treat others by sharing the feelings of those around her.
There could be no joy found in that which might pain
another because it pained her too. She also learned the
spiraling pleasure of feedback loops when good times were
had by all.
At school,Gasan enjoyed her lessons, as it is imparative
that they be enjoyable, but displayed no exceptional
talent in any area nor did she preform especially bad in
any area either. In all things, Gasan was passable.
So went her life in its joyful mundaneness. She grew older
and took lovers who all served as well as another might.
She experimented with drugs that provided some novel
enjoyment for a time but in the end was just as good as
not having used them.
At 18 she began training to work among the tourists, she devided her studies between companionship and performing arts focusing on aerial artistry and dance. Although she preforms well in these arts, many do and she was always just another performer in the group. At 20 she got her first job in a cafarel. And life changed.
Gasan had never suspected that anything was particularly
wrong with her life, she had a lot of fun after all, but
as she began to work with the visiting offworlders she
started to feel something was amiss.
It happened slowly, over a few years. Gasan began to prefer the company of the offworlders. She preferred the way they
made her feel. Different, special, exceptional. Some of
them developed a preference for her, they did not want to
see another Zeltron, one was not as good as another, it
must be her.
Also at this time Gasan was learning that off her planet
things were very different. People were not always happy
out there, in fact, happiness seemed like it must be rare.
Those that came to her, came because they needed
happiness. How could this be so? How could happiness be so
rare?
These things began to trouble Gasan, and this was not a
welcomed state for her to be in. She was begining to
upset her fellow Zeltrons with her worry. She was
starting to pry into the emotions of the off worlders when
they were alone rather than keeping them happy as was her
job.
Once, she was speaking with a man about a battle he had
been in, he'd lost a friend and felt grief the likes of
which Gasan was not prepared to feel. She ended up looping
these emotions between them, building them so that they
were openly sobbing in one another's arms. Gasan hardly
remembered being pulled away from the man she'd reduced to
blubbering. There was talk of sending her to the
Rehabilitus domain.
Gasan was not certain that this was what she wanted, she
did not know what to make of the things she was
discovering but she did not think she wanted to simply
ignore them and continue on with her happiness. She
resolved to see the man again before she made any
decisions, if she had hurt him badly, she would consent to
going for rehabilitation.
When she was allowed to speak with him, he confided in her
that although he was a little embarassed about the
incident, on the whole he actually felt better that he'd
spoken with her about it and she had shared his pain. He
thought that was the greatest thing he had experienced on
Zeltros and thanked her.
Gasan could not understand this sentiment but devoted much
time to puzzling at it. She decided not to go for
rehabilitation, but having refused, she was not permitted
to work with tourists any longer. She found work among
her own people, where her emotions were once again tipped
towards endless happiness by her brethren. And yet, Gasan
could not forget what had happened. She was no longer
satisfied among her people.
She resolved to leave Zeltros and explore the galaxy. She
wanted to understand what she had experienced with the
visitors. She wanted to know why happiness was so rare,
and she wanted to help spread it. And also, she wanted to
feel special again. She wanted it to matter that it was
her and not just anyone would do.
It took her a year to save up, but she finally left
Zeltros at the age of 24. She went first to Coruscant. She
was vastly unprepared for the level of culture shock she
would endure. She spent the first year and a half just
learning to function with out her network of happy
brethren. It's still difficult for her at times, but she
handles herself much better these days. She's also still
rather ignorant of how things are done but she manages to
get along with out too much trouble.
During her 2 years on Coruscant she's been trying to learn
what brings people happiness, and more importantly, what's
stopping it. She has a notion that if she can become an
idol, she can use her star power to spread happiness to
all.
She's been working as a hairstylist by day and a bartender
by night to get by and to listen to the gossip to learn
what she can.
RP Sample:
Gasan watched the patrons as she wiped down more glasses
behind the bar. She'd somehow managed to get stuck with
an early shift. She hated the early shift at the bar. It
was always slow and the people who drank earlier on in the
day were not her kind of people. The stiff sitting at the
bar now wasn't the chatty type and therefore offered no
relief to her boredom. She noticed as he once again
signaled for another. She moved to refill his glass and
made an inviting remark, "One of those days huh?" He
didn't even bother to acknowledge it.
He was the type of drinker Gasan just couldn't understand.
He was miserable and each time he took another drink he
got even more miserable. She wanted nothing more than to
do something outrageous to make him smile. She fantasized
about turning on something with a sexy beat and dancing on
the bar for him. Surly he'd react to that?
Sighing, she returned to cleaning the glassware. This guy
was depressing her. She switched her attention to the
other two in the bar, businessmen discussing something
quietly over a few drinks. She tasted their eagerness to
come to a deal they could both agree on. Although they
both displayed an easy-going friendly nature outwardly it
belied their greed that Gasan felt like a gnawing hunger
that could not be sated.
Gasan wasn't surprised anymore by the things she felt from
people. The way it so rarely matched the face they put on
for others. It had been disorienting at first. The way a
smiling woman would send out a blistering wave of hatrid
or a laughing man a stench of fear. No longer, Gasan had
learned not to rely on her eyes for such things.
How would she make those two happy she wondered. Greed,
she'd never encountered anything like it before. She'd
tried, in the past, to give such people little unexpected
kindnesses. This ones on the house! Here's some tokens
for the jukebox! They were never grateful for it. They'd
get suspicious or scornful and never thought it was enough.
Often, they'd think it was an invitation to get more for
free.
Gasan didn't know how to even make these three people in
her bar happy, how could she help the galaxy? She needed
to get away from mister sunshine and his cloud of despair.
She shook her head and looked at the time. Two more hours.
It was going to be a long two hours.
