Personality: He is light-hearted around his friends but for someone he has just meet it may take a while to get to know James. He is willing to offer his help to anyone in need. He carries himself with pride, confidence, and determination. In combat he has an intensity that is nearly unmatched by his peers.

Bio: -Early Childhood-
James' parents were middle class citizens of Coruscant, his father, Christopher Talen was a solder for most of his life, and his mother, Shera Talen ran a small goods store. Shortly after James was born a local crime lord sent a bounty hunter to collect on a loan that Shera took out for her store but they didn't have the money to pay it and the bounty hunter killed them but before being killed Shera hid James in the ally behind the house in hope that someone would find him and take care of him, this is where the young girl Tera found him and took him in to their group. James of course does not remember his parents or even if he was born on Coruscant, he believes that his parents were killed when he was very young, but it is widely rumored that his parents just abandoned his. He was taken in by a group of youths from similar situations weather they were abandon or ran away. James made many friends especially an older girl and leader of the group named Tera, while there James learned and became quite good in hand-to-hand combat. The group did what was necessary to survive, At the age of 5 he and Tera were out getting supplies for the group when they came across a very dangerous thief called Fist who caught the two trying to steal the supplies they needed from him. Fist attack the two with his viboblade the two defended themselves but Fist was more skilled in combat then James or Tera, Fist quickly over whelmed the two and prepared to deliver the finale blow to Tera when James using reflexes only a force sensitive would have he got in front of the blow and got his signature scar on his left eye, this caught Fist off guard and gave James the time he need to disarm Fist. Fist then decided to leave before the authorities arrived. A few days later James ran in to Jedi Master Alexander Greyhelm who was looking for a force sensitive child in the area, immediately he sense a great amount of the force with James, Greyhelm then tried to convince James to come with him to the Jedi Temple to be trained as a Jedi, James was reluctant at first but after encouragement from Tera who explained that he would have a better life as a Jedi then he would there, so James decided to go with Greyhelm and begin a new life at the Jedi Academy.

-Life as a Youngling-
Once at the academy James dedicated himself to learning the ways of the force and what it meant to be a Jedi. He soon felt at home and he gained many friends among the other younglings. He quickly got the hang of Shii-Cho and he would spar often with his friends and the other younglings, he demonstrated an unrivaled intensity in combat that gave him an edge over his opponent, if he wasn't sparing he was studying the history of the Jedi and he would often meditate on what he learned. Master Greyhelm often kept an eye on James because he had already decided that when he felt James was ready he would take him as his padawan learner. James would often wonder about his friends from his childhood which felt like it was a very long time ago he know that attachment was forbidden but he couldn't help but feel attached to Tera after all it was her who took him in when he was lost. Sometime James' intensity in combat would get him in trouble but it was never really enough to warrant more then a scolding from one of the masters. At age 12 Master Alexander Greyhelm took James as his padawan.

-Trial of Skill-
After becoming Master Greyhelm's padawan the bond that is formed between a master and padawan formed quickly between them Greyhelm was like the father James had never know. James practiced the Ataru and Shien/Djem So forms, he also focused in the body force-sensitive abilities to help the uses of the Ataru form. Like when he was a youngling he wanted to learn all he could and he was open to all of his masters teaching. The first few missions Greyhelm took James on were diplomatic ones, then when James was 15 the two were sent to find and capture if possible a Fallen Jedi that was believed to be hiding on Tatooine, it took them many weeks to find the cave deep in the Dune Sea where the fallen Jedi was hiding, when they entered the cave the fallen Jedi immediately attacked the two, James and Greyhelm made for a powerful team, seeing he was out match the fallen Jedi retreated deeper in to the cave James and Greyhelm fallowed but found that the cave was a maze so they decided to split up, James was the first to catch up to the Jedi at a small rear exit to the cave, thinking quickly James blocked the exit putting himself between the exit and the fallen Jedi, who drew his lightsaber and attacked and the duel began James saw anger and fear in the fallen Jedi's eye and this scared him. James' intensity in combat, combined with a moment's hesitation caused by guilt felt by the Fallen Jedi gave James the edge needed to disarm the fallen Jedi then he tried to convince him to come back to the light, James felt he almost had the fallen Jedi convinced when Greyhelm finale caught up the fallen Jedi used the force to knock James out of his way and he fled. James would always remember what he saw in the fallen Jedi's eyes. James meditated on what had happened in the fight and how a momentary laps in his concentration had aloud his opponent to escape though his meditation he came to understand that other then the fallen Jedi getting away, he had disarmed the fallen Jedi and nearly convinced him to come back to the light so all in all it was a victory.

-Trial of Spirit-
Toward the end of his training James had a vision while he was sleeping, in the vision he went to the place where he hung out with his childhood friends, when he found the old hideout he was told by a few new kids who now called the place home that the thief Fist had come back looking for James and Tera to get payback for the humiliation he suffered by losing to them all those years ago and that he had killed Tera, this angered James who went looking for Fist, through asking around the slums and many tedious interrogations he found out that Fist was hiding in his Coruscant hideout, James felt that Fist was hiding right under his nose, when he got to the hideout he confronted Fist, the two fought but because of James training he was better and quickly disarmed Fist and held his blade to Fist throat but before he delivered the finale blow he saw the face of the fallen Jedi and the anger and fear that were in his' eyes and James calmed down and decided to turn Fist over to the authorities. After this vision James meditated an what had happened in it, but not satisfied by just his meditation he went to Master Greyhelm and explained what had happened in his vision. Master Greyhelm explained that he should remember that the temptation of the dark side is always present and that he was strong enough to fight it this time but to keep in mind that he will face it again in the future, and as far as losing his childhood friend he explained that losing ones friends is always hard but he shouldn't mourn for his friend because such thoughts could led to the dark side and that he should be happy for his friend who had become one with the force. After meditating on this James decided to become stronger so that he would be ready if it ever trully happened.

-Trials of Courage and Flesh-
After the vision of Fist, James trained harder and dedicated himself further to the Order and the force in hopes that he would be able to prevent a similar situation form happening. Master Greyhelm was proud of James for having pushed himself to being as good a Jedi as he could be. Later they received orders to find and if at all possible capture a powerful and extremely dangerous Dark Jedi, he was far more powerful then the fallen Jedi that James had faced on Tatooine but he was stronger now then he was back then, but he know better then to be overconfident, if the Council and Master Greyhelm said the dark Jedi was powerful then James know that this would be tough. They found the Dark Jedi on Felucia and when the two Jedi confronted him he attacked with speed and power, the battle was intense but James was just able to keep up with Greyhelm and the Dark Jedi until the Dark Jedi Knocked James out of the way, then turns the full force of his assault on Greyhelm and though the use of some dirty fighting he dealt a fatal blow to Greyhelm. Now down to one opponent the Dark Jedi turned his attention back to James, the dark Jedi knew he was more powerful then James and as such underestimated him because of this James' intensity got the better of the dark Jedi, and faced with no other option James used the Mou Kei technique to end the duel. He then went to his master's side where he told James his last words then dies, James then returned to the Jedi Temple, and on the night of his master's funeral James is made a Jedi Knight at 22

-Looking to the Future-
Having been knighted James continues to study the force and continues his training in the Ataru form and the Shien/Djem So form. He hope that someday he will be as good a mentor to a padawan as his master was to him. James also kept his masters lightsaber but he removed the cyan color crystal from the lightsaber and put the crystal in his own lightsaber, he kepts the hilt from his master old lightsaber on his person in honor of his master.

He had promised himself that he would become stronger so that never happened again but now it had he had failed You just need more power you must gain it by any means necessary, feed on you anger, on your loss let it consume you it will make you stronger says a voice. yes that is what I will do gain power by any means he though to himself That is the dark side talking you must not let it win, you are stronger then that, if you let it consume you then you will have truly lost Said his masters voice but I must become stronger no mater the cost Then he saw the image of the Fallen Jedi he fought on Tatooine and the anger and the fear in his eyes that scared him so much. With a jolt James awoke from his meditation in a cold sweat, he rested his head in his hands for what felt like hours maybe even day then he stood an said I will become stronger bet not at the expense of falling to the dark side, I will not be that Jedi on Tatooine. I won't let my masters teachings go to waste, and someday I will pass it on to a padawan of my own. I will not fall to the dark side.

I just want to say that not even a Guardian could have have mastered 3 forms by now. Here's what Kella said about a 24 year old and lightsaber forms.

"A new Knight, which is basically age 22-24, will have 3-4 points distributed between 1-2 other forms, with a Guardian possibly having 5 points total, but not having mastered any form other than Shii-cho."

I shall also say that, of all the sections, I'd say the Jedi section is the trickiest to get approved in, if only because there are so many technicalities and rules involved with the Jedi. So, don't lose heart, and know that it won't be long before you're nice and shiny and ready to go. :3

If you'd be willing, I'd love for you to put this through a spellchecker, because while most of your stuff is right, there are some pretty common spelling mistakes/ easily corrected errors that a spellchecker would just sweep through and fix, which is kinder to the people reading it later. Saber stats: That little bit that I gave Sporky is what I give everybody, so it includes all the training a Jedi would have. There's really not a whole lot of variance in the number of points that new Knights have, the difference lies in where they are. So, if you add up the points for all the forms other than Shii-Cho, you shouldn't have any more than 5 points. At the moment, you have 9, so you'll have to shave off four points. With James's intensity, he really isn't suited well to Makashi, as it's a very controlled, artistic form, so I'd recommend a 3 in Ataru, and a 2 in Shien/Djem So. The lightsaber forms can get tricky, so if you want any more info, don't hesitate to ask. :)

Destruction: This isn't taught by the Jedi, so just switch that to a 0, and you'll be all set.

Body: Since this is a 7, I'd like a quick mention in the bio as to why he'd train in it, just for formality's sake. It's natural for any guardian, and if he's learning Ataru, it'd be a no-brainer, so all you have to do is add a sentence to say as such.

Speed: To have a 7 here, you'd need a mention in the bio. However, it might be easier to just bring strength to a 5, and put speed as a 6. Just make sure you show which one he favors. :3

As a site rule, there are no unknowns -- which basically means that even if your char doesn't know, you have to know. The main purpose of this is just to make sure you've thought on and considered all the different facets of your character, and where someone came from is pretty important. X) You don't have to delete this sentence -- just tell who his parents were, how old he was when they abandoned him, and where he lived after that.

A Jedi won't master Shii-Cho until about the time they become a Knight. However, if you say, 'got the hang of' or 'caught on to' instead of 'mastered' then you'll be just fine.

Something spellcheck will be no help with -- Padawan is spelled with an 'a'. X) No big deal, really, just one of those things that's easier to fix the earlier you find out about it. I swear, it took me AGES to figure out how to spell Tatooine properly. >.>

Fun as exciting missions are, most masters take their padawans on strictly diplomatic missions until they're about 14/15. A new Padawan is more of a liability than an asset on such a dangerous mission, and the Jedi would never put two of their own in such danger. You might be able to salvage this mission, if you push it to later in James's life.

The Jedi would never allow this, unless it was part of a simulated test for his Trial of Spirit. So, if he really went there, it would have to be without his master's permission -- which needs to be specifically mentioned. Also, he wouldn't be able to visit his friend specifically -- they'd probably be long-gone, after all -- but you could say he went to visit the place.

How did he find Fist? It's been fifteen years, and all he has to go on is the vague memory of a face, and a name that sounds more like a street-name than any proper sort of identification. He can still find the guy, but it's important to know how, 'cause it's a little iffy...

Trial of Spirit: Between sneaking out of the temple, finding someone who knew of Tera, and then locating Fist with little to go on, that series of events seems a little... iffy. However, it works well as a trial of Spirit. So, you can just change the beginning and the end around a little bit, and make it a vision. This way, it's pulling on the names and faces from his memory subconsciously, so it makes sense that he still knows who's who, and he's not actually breaking any rules. These visions could come randomly, like a dream, or the council could induce them as part of his Trials.

Trial of Flesh: I'd recommend taking his grief for his childhood friend, and moving that scenario around to his master, and his master's becomming one with the Force. The death of his master would impact him much more than the friend he hasn't seen in fifteen years, so it would be a better trial of flesh.

How old/trained was this Fallen Jedi, that a fifteen year old was able to disarm him? Was the Fallen Jedi hesitant to attack due to guilt or somesuch? There's no way a fifteen year old padawan is going to beat a knight-level Dark Jedi in a straight-up fight. Please edit this accordingly.

I've read your post and fixed the probloms you pointed out and I thank you, here they are

The first, as far as the fight with the Fallen Jedi I fixed it with,

James' intensity in combat and a moments hesitation caused by guilt by the Fallen Jedi gave him the edge he needed to disarm the Fallen Jedi.

The second, I did not realize I had done that part I present form and I thank you for pointing it out other wise it may have gone unchanged, I have now fixed that.

The force abilities, I've changed Sence from a 5 to a 4.

Thank you again for your post and if you see any other problom then just let me know. Also I was wondering if I change my lightsaber color from blue to cyan will I have to change any thing in James' bio

Just to let you know I've changed James' lightsaber color from blue to cyan and explaned it in the Looking to the Future section of his bio with.

James kept his master lightsaber but removed the cyan color crystal from his master lightsaber and put it in hia own lightsaber, he keeps his master old lightsaber hilt on his person in honor of his master.

I made the changes you asked for and here they are.

First, the lightsaber is single-phase

Second, Yes that is exactly what I ment and I have reworded closer to what you said but also kept it in my style.
