Name: Shi Selesh
Race: Selkath
Age: 11
Height: 4 feet 2 inches
Weight: 50 lbs
Appearance: Shi Selesh has a thin and small build for her age. Her skin is a mottled green, with brown on the top of her head, and lighter green streaks, making her skin look like she is underwater. Like all Selkath, she has two “whiskers” framing her mouth, and three fingers and two toes. Her eyes are large and black.
As far as clothes and gear goes, she dresses simply in a robe and belt.
Personality: Shi is reserved around those she doesn’t know, but is always polite to them. It only takes a little bit of kindness to make her trust someone, and then she will open up completely, and when she does she is bright, playful and funny. She is something of a troublemaker, breaking the rules when she sees fit. Sometimes she thinks she knows more than those in charge. She reacts to trouble and problems by running headlong into them, trying to solve them right away, and has never been one to back down from a challenge.

Bio: Shi was born in Ahto City on the watery world of Manaan. Her family controlled a good deal of the kolto market and as a result they were fabulously wealthy. They lived fairly modestly for someone of their social status, but when it came to Shi and her three younger siblings, they gave them pretty much everything they wanted. This wasn’t as good as it sounded, though, because her parents were often gone on business and Shi was raised mainly by a nanny and herself. Until her brothers and sister came along, she was usually pretty lonely. Though she liked the nanny, it just wasn’t the same as having her parents around. But when her siblings were born, she was always busy with them, having adventures and causing trouble. She figured she had a pretty good thing going, but she didn’t know that her life would change very soon.
Just before her sixth birthday came around, she ran into a travelling Jedi who had come to Ahto City. The Jedi immediately sensed that she was Force sensitive. He talked to her for a while before deciding that she had potential as a Jedi, and went to speak to her parents. Shi was very excited at the idea of becoming a Jedi. She had heard great tales about them, and wanted to see if they were true.
After a long while spent discussing matters with the Jedi, her parents came to speak to her about it. They told her that the Jedi would take her to be trained in the ways of the Force, and he would be taking her soon, just before her birthday.
She was eager to begin her training, and though she was homesick, she took to life at the temple very quickly. She made some friends, mostly other younglings, but there were a couple of Masters and Knights in the mix as well. She caught onto the lessons fairly easily, though she favored her lightsaber over force techniques. She was quick on her feet but not very strong. She was a pretty good pupil overall. Still, though she was doing good at the temple, she refused to let go of her fading memories of Manaan and her family.
Currently, Shi is anxiously awaiting to become a Padawan, and is a little nervous that she won't be chosen.
RP Sample: Shi looked around as she walked towards the Jedi Temple, her eyes wide and staring. The Jedi walked beside her, and was looking straight ahead, hardly acknowledging his small charge. Shi couldn’t believe where she was at the moment. It all seemed so surreal to her, like it wasn’t really happening at all. But still, she was brimming with excitement and anticipation, so eager to see what happened next. She could hardly stand it; each second brought her closer to what was sure to be the greatest adventure of her entire life, and she was ready for it.
