Ervisa Therani was, by no stretch of the imagination, into nature. She spent most of her time in a hermetically sealed metal box hurtling from star to star, punctuated by drunken pitstops at ports of call. She rarely strayed far from the spaceport, sticking close by the ship, relying on the cantinas and greasy spoons for sustenance and the occasional hotel for a roll in the hay or a respite from the daily grind.
Today however, she'd strayed rather far from the ship. Cerea was just one of those worlds where you couldn't seem to get away from nature. It just sort of slapped you in the face flagrantly as if to scream "Here I am! Deal with it!" Regrettably nature was a concept, so you couldn't punch it in the nose and tell it to go bugger itself with a salad fork. No, you just sort of had to deal with it.
Ervisa was dealing with it. Yes, she'd struggled a little at first, trying to get in the swing of things, but the Mirialan woman had caught onto the proper spirit rather quickly, having hiked her way up into the woodland hills for the weekend. She'd probably done that for one very good reason. The Cereans didn't like outsiders roaming beyond large city-buildings, and certainly not outsiders wielding technology. Ervisa had both a blaster pistol and a lightsaber on her, which she was pretty sure counted as technology.
For an ex-Jedi, it wasn't all that hard to sneak her way out and head on up into the hills. Somehow she'd managed to persuade Pala to wait for her, though she genuinely wasn't sure if the ornery Twi'lek would simply abandon her or not. Even if she did though, there were worse places to be stranded than Cerea. She could live here for a while with no worries.
At the moment she was enjoying the solitude, by bathing in an absolutely pristine lake with a rather picturesque little waterfall pouring into it over mossy stones. Fortunately it was planetary summer, so the water was warm enough to backfloat in without feeling a burning desire to curl up and die.
Yes, it was very pristine, and very clear. Also, like her, it had a green tinge. Except she was much more green, a brilliant emerald tone in fact that she was rather pleased with.
The ex-Jedi paddled her way leisurely over to the store and rolled out onto the sandy shore, simply lying there half in and half out of the water, musing that she could very well have been posing for some kind of erotic wall calendar. Now there was an idea for a back-up career.
Ervisa perked up at that moment. Her senses were giving her a very strong indicator someone was approaching...

How long has it been since I've been here?
Clear sunlight filtered through the canopy of leaves and branches up above and streamed onto Tsubasa. It fell onto his dark hair, got caught in and reflected lightly in his amber eyes as he walked through the wilderness. His steps were graceful and quiet, and he moved comfortably, as if walking through the light stand of trees was the same as walking through his home.
To Tsu, it might as well have been. Fondor was his homeworld by birth, but he'd been gone from there for so long he could remember little more than a few important events in his early life or faint snippets of what things had been like there.
Cerea, though, had been his home for a long time. His mentor, who'd been a Cerean himself, trained him out in the world's wilderness for years after he'd begun to learn the ways of the Matukai. They'd gone on runs through the sprawling plains, trekked through the hills and mountains, swam in oceans, lakes, streams and rivers, and had slept out with the stars for company countless times.
It was here, out in the wilderness beyond the outsider citadels that he'd learned to make salves and poultices from herbs, had learned to fend for himself and live on the land. But he'd also learned how to feel the Force, to channel it through himself and listen to its whispers and currents. He'd learned to fight, with his body just as well as with a weapon in his hands, and even with the Force.
Cerea was a special place for Tsubasa. Even all these years after he'd finished his training, he still was attracted to the idyllic world. The years spent on its surface had given him a deep love for nature, and it was often a place he returned to when he wanted to get away from the Galaxy for a time or when he needed to find his center again.
Or when he just wanted somewhere quiet to train.
The current stop was such a trip. He'd been on-world for a few days, and planned to stay for several more yet. For most of his time he'd meditated, in the way that was largely unique to the Matukai: holding strange, hard to maintain positions that pushed the body physically, while going into a deep meditative state. There wasn't anything else like it. He'd spent some time going through weapon katas and other similar things as well.
Today would be a bit more laid back, or that was the plan. He was dressed differently than his usual attire for being out and about, as he often did when training. He wore a dark blue shirt, one that fit closely over his torso, much like the top of his regular clothing. It was sleeveless, leaving his arms bare, and showing that, while Tsu wasn't the largest fellow--he even thought himself short--he was in excellent physical shape and his body had been finely honed, as would be expected from the rigorous training regimen he went through. His pants were a smoky grey, loose and might of a light material that kept movement easy. He wore some light shoes, though he was contemplating going barefoot for a while. Perhaps once he reached his destination.
There was a lake that a stream flowed into nearby. It was about a half a mile or so walk from where he'd set the Vagabond down. Tsu remembered it from his earlier time spent on the planet. The water was a beautiful shade of green, and wonderfully clear. Perhaps he'd go meditate there, or play the flute that hung from his side with the sound of the waterfall to keep him company.
Part of him even wanted to swim a bit.
As he approached the edge of the trees and the lake itself, he felt something in the Force. Someone, rather. It was rare that he encountered others out here in Cerea's wilds, but it wasn't cause for concern, so long as they didn't try to start any trouble. Even if he'd not gone out looking for a fight, his wan-shen still hung, collapsed, from his hip, making it look like a sword with a broad, curving blade.
When he stepped through the last trees and onto the strip of land between them and the forest, he spotted a woman out in the water. Her skin was green, like the water, but more so. Her hair was raven black, and what he could make out of her body itself from a distance was impressive, in a few different ways at once.
Tsubasa realized that she was pretty as he came to a stop, wondering what to make of unexpectedly finding someone out here where he'd been expecting to find solitude.
He decided he didn't mind. So far, anyway. Though neither of them had yet spoken a word to the other, and that had a way of changing things sometimes.
Guess I might as well start.
"Well now," he called, walking to the lake's edge. The water licked lightly at his shoes, dampening his feet slightly. "Looks like someone finally found out about my little sanctuary here. I hope you like it as much as I do." He smiled softly and chuckled, giving her a little nod of his head. "I'm Tsu. Tsubasa, really, but call me Tsu. Hope you don't mind if I join you out here for a bit."

"Well now,"
Ervisa looked up to notice a stranger standing there. Dark hair, light eyes, and about her height. Not the tallest, and too young for her tastes, but not bad looking on the whole. Yes, she did like his eyes. They were an exquisite shade of amber, something rather rare to find in another person.
Yes, on the whole she certainly had no objection to being naked in front of him.
Of course that might have just been commentary on her own lack of modesty, but it really wasn't intended that way. She was simply fine being exposed in front of someone who, to be honest, she wouldn't mind was exposed either.
In that general spirit, the Mirialan woman rolled over onto her side to face him squarely, dark sand clinging to her moist skin stubbornly in the process. She didn't even bother trying to brush it off, instead propping herself up on one arm, and draping her long braid of hair over her side, and grinning a bit.
"Looks like someone finally found out about my little sanctuary here. I hope you like it as much as I do."
Yes, it was fair to say she did. It was quite safe in fact. Despite not being a naturalist, she was trying anyway, and with a certain degree of success. Trees, grass, sand, water, various pretty flowers... Yes, she liked it all, even if she was new to it. Of course she'd have no idea what was edible or poisonous, which could prove a problem if she hadn't brought along copious amounts of snack food to last her however long she spent out in this countryside.
"I'm Tsu. Tsubasa, really, but call me Tsu. Hope you don't mind if I join you out here for a bit."
"Ervisa," The green-skinned former Jedi said, giving a mock salute with her free hand before coquettishly twirling her braid with it. "But you can call me Ervi, if you want to. And I don't mind if you don't mind. But I suppose in the name of propriety you should toss me those panties over there on that rock."
She gestured to a wad of clothing perched up on a boulder, with a rather plain set of undergarments on top.

Tsubasa chuckled softly as he looked out over the lake, at the crystalline green water and the quietly-roaring waterfall off at the other end where the stream poured in. "Alright then. Ervisa it is."
He looked over at her again as she continued, chuckling again at her request to toss her panties over to her. "I wonder how much propriety really counts for out here," he mused aloud as he reached out with the Force and pulled them to his hand. "I don't think the trees or flowers mind. I don't." Admittedly, once they were in his hand, he did look at them for a moment before giving them a casual toss over to Ervisa; it was hard not to. But he spoke truly enough.
Perhaps it was the way his training as a Matukai had been so heavily focused on the body, but Tsubasa didn't mind nudity, really. He adhered to the social rules about it of course--he didn't go streaking through the streets of Alderaan--but when confronted with it, he didn't blow a gasket like some others did. A body was a body, after all. Everyone had to have one, male, female, and amorphous blob alike.
He slipped out of his shoes easily, putting his feet down in the soft, warm sand at the water's edge and wriggling his toes around in it for a moment. Then he turned to Ervisa and walked over toward her.
As he looked at her, his view getting better as he came nearer, he realized she was very pretty. Her body was a beautiful thing, and he had a feeling in the back of his mind that she knew it. Briefly he wondered how to handle the situation; she obviously wasn't concerned about being naked in front of him, and while he didn't mind nudity in principle, he was still a red-blooded male. With a very attractive half-naked woman laying in the sand in front of him.
Physical attraction and sex weren't new, foreign things to Tsubasa, though he wasn't really a huge flirt; sometimes he even felt a little awkward trying to make passes at women, like he was tripping over his own tongue. He decided that it was safe to play things a bit more casually for the time being. He didn't even know Ervisa. Though he was certain she'd probably caught his eyes looking over her.
Oh well.
He stopped a few steps away from her and settled down easily into the sand, sitting with legs folded comfortably before him. On a whim, he pulled his shirt up and over his head, and tossed it a few feet away from him. The sun's warmth was welcome on his skin, as was the feeling of warm breeze blowing in through the trees.
"Well, nice to meet you, Ervisa," he said, leaning back on his arms and unfurling one leg enough for his foot to sit in the shallow water. It was warm, as expected. Good swimming water.
" Think you're the first person I've seen out here since my mentor trained me back when I was still a kid." He smiled slightly at those memories, but went on, turning a bit to look at her. "Nice to have some company. Especially when that company's easy on the eyes." It was about as true a statement he could make. She was pretty, and he wasn't ashamed to admit it.
His gaze lingered on her for a few moments more as he paused for a moment; it was hard to look away, really. But he finally did, turning his eyes out to look over the lake as he sighed contentedly. "You come out to Cerea often? I love this place, myself."

Ervisa's inner exhibitionist was rather pleased that her body was being viewed and appreciated. She took a bit of pride in staying in good shape, with daily runs and muscle exercises that kept her waistline trim despite a bad diet and kept her body lean and toned. She was muscular, obviously a strong woman, but not to excess. She was still slender and lithe, which she had no problems flaunting.
That much was obvious from her nude posing in front of a random stranger, who was surprisingly unfazed.
Well, she hadn't really expected him to fall over or scream 'egads! A naked woman!' But maybe a nice little 'Damn!' or a whistle would be nice. But then again, maybe nudity was viewed as totally normal by this man. For all she knew he was a nudist just wearing clothes for no reason...
Or not.
Ervisa held the panties in her hand and contemplated putting them back on. Instead she muttered 'screw it' and tossed them away. She'd just be naked and enjoy her skinny-dipping, male company or not.
She decided to reply to his question in a rather nonchalant way as she rolled back into the water, floating on her back in the shallows.
"You're not bad yourself slick. Anyway... First time on Cerea at all actually. Heard they don't like people with technology leaving those Citadels, so naturally I had to tote out my blaster and my lightsaber anyway. It's like I have to prove a point. Anyway though, I like it here. Nice and peaceful, relaxing. Also gets me out of those tin cans we call starships for a while."
She luxuriated in the clear water, paddling gently with her legs before getting an idea. She'd undo her braid and wash her hair. Ervisa ended her floating and stood in the waist-deep water and started to undo the long braid of raven hair that she almost always kept in the same position.
"So what brings you back here, nostalgia? R&R?"

Tsu nodded at her compliment. Even smiled a bit at it. Of course, he knew he was attractive to most women. Strong, well defined arms and shoulders, a powerful chest and sculpted abs. His legs and, hell, even his rump were solid and muscular. Being a Matukai had its perks.
But really, the more he thought about it, the more he figured 'easy on the eyes' was an understatement for Ervisa. Beautiful was more like it. And he was starting to feel an attraction pulling at him...
"Anyway...
Tsubasa nodded, his eyes stuck on her as she lazily paddled back out into the water. So maybe nudity didn't bother him so much on its own, but with such a pretty woman...
Stop staring, he chided himself. Had he been staring? He hoped it wasn't too obvious.
No, he kinda hoped she did notice. Then she could see he... I what? Want her?
This wasn't how his time out her by the lake was supposed to be going. And he did still want to swim, but that would involve stripping himself...
"So what brings you back here, nostalgia? R&R?"
Best play it cool. He leaned to the over on his side, feeling the warm sand on his skin as he settled down on it. "Well... both of those. And other things. Like I said, my mentor trained me here, years ago when I was still a kid. This is where I learned what the Force was..." He reminded himself to lift his eyes back to her face, and not her chest. Or her hips, teasingly half-hidden in the water as they were.
"So I come back here went I want to get away sometimes. Or to train. Came to train this time. I've been here a few days, going through some routines of my own. Maybe I could show you some of my routines later..." Suddenly he felt his cheeks getting a little red. Coulda phrased that better. "I mean, once we're done here."
No, that could've been better too.
Best to just abandon that line of talking before he said something stupid.
Still trying to appear as outwardly calm as he could, Tsubasa leaned back further with a sigh, showing more of his chiseled stomach. "So..." he went on, "speaking of the Force, I can feel it in you too." A dark brow lifted and he chuckled a little. "I don't think you're another Matukai, though I might be wrong. Who trained you? If you don't mind me asking, I mean."

"Well... both of those. And other things. Like I said, my mentor trained me here, years ago when I was still a kid. This is where I learned what the Force was..."
Ervisa nodded and promptly noticed he was having trouble not looking at her chest. As a response she spread her arms wide and stretched, exposing her breasts. Yes, she was flirting with him, and obviously so. He was just a little nervous or shy around her, which she'd break him of.
When she was satisfied he'd seen enough, she continued undoing her braid until every lock of waist-length raven hair was spread out around her in the water, like seaweed in a way, but shimmering in the light with a healthy sheen. It also covered up what she'd just been showing again.
"So I come back here went I want to get away sometimes. Or to train. Came to train this time. I've been here a few days, going through some routines of my own. Maybe I could show you some of my routines later..."
"I'd like to see them," Ervisa whispered. "All of them." The flirtatiousness in her tone was blindingly obvious, and already she was starting to want him. It had been the better part of a month since her last sexual encounter, and she was starting to feel a yearning sensation burning in her, a ravenous lust that begged to be quenched.
And here, Force-sent, was a man. A bit shy yes, and not as stunningly handsome as Asyr, but nevertheless an impressive male specimen. She had the desire to see what he had on underneath those pants... But it would take him a while to come out of his shell.
Maybe he'd need a little encouraging even, but she could make him... rise to the occasion. A little seduction perhaps...
"So... speaking of the Force, I can feel it in you too. I don't think you're another Matukai, though I might be wrong. Who trained you? If you don't mind me asking, I mean."
Ervisa laughed. Well that derailed her lustful train of thought. Well, maybe a little casual conversation would set him at ease a little better. Yeah, she'd engage with him a little. Get to know him even.
"You are looking at a retired Jedi Knight. Me and the Order went our separate ways for a variety of reasons, and now I have a life of luxurious decadence as a pilot, traveling from port to port and drinking as much as I can. Not a bad life on the whole."
As if to signify that was all she was saying, Ervisa splashed a little water on him playfully before coquettishly beckoning him in. "The water's fine honey, and I don't bite... Unless you really want me to."

She's messing with me, Tsubasa realized as Ervisa stretched out in the water, exposing herself. That meant she knew, and if she was doing this, it meant she wanted him looking at her.
Force help him, it was working. He all but gawked before she settled back down again, covering her breasts again with her hair.
It almost wasn't fair. She was too beautiful. She knew, and she knew he knew it. Tsu shifted where he lay on the sand. Something would have to be done eventually, or it would soon be apparent just from looking at him what he wanted...
If it isn't already.
Her response to his blundering offer to show what he did for training only had him blushing a little bit further. He knew exactly what she meant, and well... I wouldn't mind.
Not at all, he though, looking at Ervisa as she stood there in the pure, sunbathed water. For a moment he was reminded of some old myths and folk tales about charming seductresses that lurked in the forest. As the stories went, they were too beautiful for any normal, red-blooded man to resist. Are you my seductress? he wondered. I don't know how long I can resist. Certainly he could feel his body already starting to give into temptation, rising to the attraction.
Maybe he should have gotten in the water sooner.
"You are looking at a retired Jedi Knight. Me and the Order went our separate ways for a variety of reasons, and now I have a life of luxurious decadence as a pilot, traveling from port to port and drinking as much as I can. Not a bad life on the whole."
Tsu lifted a brow, both intrigued by what she was telling him and thankful for the brief reprieve from her flirtful teasing. "A Jedi? Been a while since I met one of those. Even former ones."
Then she splashed at him, wetting his bare skin and pants and giving him a tantalizing little beckon. "The water's fine honey, and I don't bite... Unless you really want me to."
Tsubasa sincerely hoped his cheeks didn't redden further. Force, but the woman made him feel like a fool. It wasn't even that he'd never seen a naked woman, or that he'd never wanted to have, or gone through having sex with someone before. But this was different. Usually he found someone he liked, got to know them for a while, and then things happened from there.
Meeting a stranger and jumping straight to the saddle was... new to him. A little out of his comfort zone, but he had a feeling that, if he let her, she'd work him into things. That might not be so bad, he mused.
But now he was faced with going into the water. He didn't have clothes for swimming, which meant stripping. That made him a little hesitant, more than it should have...
Scew it, he said, rolling up out of the sand and standing up to his feet. If he got what he wanted--and what it seemed she wanted--she'd see him anyway. Maybe he should even flirt back at her.
"Is that right?" He asked, pausing with a hand at the top of his pants. "Well... maybe I'd like that." Was that right? The words sounded so awkward in his ears. Just need to relax.
That didn't stop a moment of hesitation before he made his move, stripping himself bare in a smooth, single motion. Ignoring the urge to feel silly and the fact that he knew the fact that he wanted her was quite apparent now, he tossed the last of his clothing off to the side and moved into the water, until he was in the waist-deep depths close to her.
Relax, he told himself, eyeing her again now that he was closer. Have some fun. Flirt back.
"How about," he started, hoping to the Force and whatever gods were above that he didn't sound as silly as he thought he did, "before I show you some of my routines, you show me some of yours?" Some lusty glint made its way into his eyes and he made himself smile.
Could only go forward from here, right?

"Is that right? Well... maybe I'd like that."
Much to Ervisa's delight, Tsu's hands reached down to his pants and started to unfasten them. She could feel the anticipation building inside her, like a kid entranced by an entertainment show or the prospect of a new toy. In this case, she was definitely looking forward to playing.
As the pants came off she raised an eyebrow. Someone was certainly happy to see her. That was certainly rewarding, and it always boosted her self-esteem to see the effect she could have on the opposite sex. Yes, she hadn't lost her touch, and she was still like a bizarre green goddess, luxuriating in a pool of crystal clear water with long flowing hair everywhere. Yeah, she was damned picturesque, and she liked that.
She also liked what she saw before her. Muscles, a lean body, and nice skin. Probably not the best she'd ever seen or been with, but still excellent, and probably among one of the better liaisons. Of course she'd have to teach him to love, he looked a little new to this. Oh maybe not to love in general or even sex, but to casting off your inhibitions and sharing your body with a stranger. Now that was one of Ervisa Therani's special talents.
"How about, before I show you some of my routines, you show me some of yours?"
Ervisa extended her leg towards Tsu and obliged, reaching out and touching him with her foot in a tantalizing manner, if only briefly. She grinned impishly as she waded over closer and reached out to do the same with one hand as the other found its way to rest on his chest.
She leaned in and pressed her body against him, her breasts against his chest, and her full, green lips against his. Her breath played out on his face and they started to become one...

In the end, it wasn't so bad.
Okay, so 'wasn't so bad' was more than an understatement.
He'd been a bit shy at first, for all his efforts to appear at ease with the whole thing. But he was right in his thought that she'd ease him into being more comfortable, and it hadn't taken long for him to come out of the shell. And once he did... Wh
"Man," he said, laying back in the grass near the water's edge. "That was good"
It had been. They'd started in the water, which was a new experience in and of itself for Tsubasa, but they migrated to the shore after a while. Even used the trunk of a tree briefly.
Now their fun was done, and Tsubasa was quite content, and much more at ease with himself. If he had a cigar, he might have been tempted to light one up. Only problem with that was that he didn't smoke. Purity of the body and all. Matukai tenet.
Tsu continued to lay there in the grass, looking up at the clouds drifting lazily through the sky and, occasionally, the green-skinned beauty nearby. Eventually, he decided it was time to get at least halfway dressed again and pushed himself up to his feet and walked over to where he'd left his pants.
"Y'know," he said to Ervisa as he sat on a rock and started slipping into his underwear. "Now I feel kinda silly for being so shy." He sighed and shook his head slightly, making the two long strands of hair that fell down on either side of his tattooed face gently sway.
Underwear on, he stood, set his flute and wan-shen aside, and started getting back into his pants again. He'd leave his shirt off for now, though; he wouldn't be heading back to the Vagabond for a while, and he still liked the feeling of the wind and Cerean sun on his back.
"It was fun though. Never thought a Jedi could be so skilled." Tsubasa smiled a little in spite of himself. "Or flexible. But I guess you're not a Jedi anymore, either."

"Man, that was good"
Ervisa chuckled in response before taking a drag of the cigarette she'd lit up a minute or two ago, her third since the intimate act had finished. She could honestly say it was good, and she'd outdone herself this time in nocturnal feats. Flexibility had been showcased especially, and her... experience... had come through for her in a big way. If sex was a sport, she'd be a gold medalist. And she liked it that way, liked it an awful lot.
She didn't actually say anything though, instead enjoying her satisfied feeling in silence while working on turning her waist-length black hair back into a customary braid, where it was neater and more orderly. That was no easy process, taking quite a while, but she was about half done. Experience had taught her how to do it herself well enough to get by without an army of stylists or a few bored little girls.
Yeah, she'd had that braid an awful long time, ever since she'd left the Order. Those first years had been nothing but depression and alcoholism, moving drunkenly from one gin joint to the next, and the least of her concerns had been her hair. She'd just let it do whatever it pleased without styling, until finally one day she'd started to get used to life again, when she'd put it into a braid. And ever since then she'd had it as a part of her being.
"Y'know, now I feel kinda silly for being so shy."
Ervisa laughed again. "Told ya I didn't bite honey."
Yeah, he was silly for being so shy about it. With his looks he wouldn't have any problems at all with the ladies if he just sat up and made a push for it. He had to have a little faith in his abilities, and a little self-confidence. That was all it took.
Well lucky for him she'd been around to help break him out of his shell. She was good at that really, getting people to cast aside inhibitions. Maybe in another life she'd have made a decent therapist. Alas, sleeping with patients was probably not a recommended therapy technique.
"It was fun though. Never thought a Jedi could be so skilled. Or flexible. But I guess you're not a Jedi anymore, either."
"One thing about Mirialans handsome," Ervisa began, "We're extremely flexible. And we're green like you've never seen." She grinned and inhaled a lungful of smoke, blowing it out again into the air and thanking the fact she'd brought a pack with her. She also polished off her braid, tying it off nicely and letting it hang over her shoulder, at her left side where it belonged.
She rose to her feet and walked across the soft sand to her pile of clothing now that she was conveniently dried by the warm sunshine. She pulled on panties first, then fastened her bra and pulled on her powder-blue tanktop. However she took one look at her wadded up pants and the brown lace-up boots she always wore, and she decided to keep her legs bare and breezy, and to feel the sand between her toes.
"So what comes now? Generally this is the point where I leave."

"One thing about Mirialans handsome. We're extremely flexible. And we're green like you've never seen."
Tsubasa laughed a bit a that. "Yeah, so I see. You're the first one I've really seen, but you live up to it." He pulled a leg up on his rocky perch, letting the other hang lazily off the side as he watched Ervisa finish tying her braid and put her clothes on.
Really, the day had gone much better than he'd thought it would. Making love tended to have a way to make that happen. But what to do now? The afternoon sun was still high in the sky and there was still plenty of time before nightfall.
He supposed he could always go back to training. Or maybe Ervisa would hang around for a little while.
"So what comes now?" She asked, looking at him. He turned his gaze from the waterfall at the other side of the lake to her, watching with his amber eyes. "Generally this is the point where I leave."
Ok, maybe she wouldn't.
Am I sure this isn't some story? It really was like something from the old myths Barsaavi had told him, during the nights when they talked as they laid out under the stars in Cerea's wilds. She was his green temptress, who'd ensnared him quite completely in her hold. And now, lovemaking done, she'd leave, returning to whatever mystical land she'd come from.
He chuckled at the thought.
"Oh, I dunno," he said after a few thoughtful moments. "If you want, I could sho-"
A speeder roared overhead, drawing his attention suddenly upwards. It flew low and fast, vanishing over the tops of the trees on the other side of the lake almost as quickly as it appeared.
"Good thing they didn't fly over a few minutes ago," Tsubasa muttered dryly. He could only imagine what a sight that would have been.
Another speeder followed, with a third larger, slower one trailing it. Tsubasa knit his brows. "Awful lotta speeders out here. That's unusual."
He stood up on his rock, hoping to see if he could see them through the trees, but he couldn't. Even his meager senses could feel them though, and he heard what sounded like landing noises beyond the trees as a flock of birds was startled off into the sky.
"Hm..." Tsu's dark brow knit further, painting a look of concerned thoughtfulness on his youthful face. "It doesn't feel right..." He turned to Ervisa. She was trained as a Jedi, and he was lacking in the more 'traditional' areas of the Force like sensing things; if it hadn't been for his mentor's recognition of him as a Force sensitve and the Matukai's unique way of fanning the flames of the Force for those with weaker connections to it, he likely never would've known he was Force sensitive.
But even he could feel something was strange, that something was not right. Maybe she could feel it more.
"Ervisa, do you feel that?" He looked back off in the direction the speeder's had been going. His muscles began to grew tense, but he didn't notice. "Something's going on over there."

"Yeah, so I see. You're the first one I've really seen, but you live up to it."
Ervisa smiled at that, quite genuinely in fact. It wasn't that she considered herself a goodwill ambassador for the Mirialan race, it was just that she liked making good impressions with her lovers. She really didn't like being disliked, preferring instead to be a center of positive attention. To be true, her over-the-top eccentricities didn't appeal to everyone, but she could bring a smile to faces pretty well when she put her mind to it.
Smiles were nice.
"Oh, I dunno, If you want, I could sho-"
At that moment a speeder roared overhead, something which, under normal circumstances, she would barely have noticed or commented on. However, this was Cerea, where technology was restricted to Outsider Citadels and the natives relied on primitive means of transportation. As such that warranted a quick exclamation.
"What the hell?"
"Good thing they didn't fly over a few minutes ago,"
"They might have crashed," Ervisa commented wryly, amused at the prospect of a pilot crashing over a couple doing the horizontal hula on a lush beach. It wasn't that her breasts were all that stunning, or her behind, but on the whole she came together nicely, with slender curves she enjoyed flaunting given the opportunity. And her inner exhibitionist wouldn't mind having sex in plain view... Not at all in fact.
"Awful lotta speeders out here. That's unusual."
"Understatement of the year," Ervisa muttered. It was just plain weird really, all these speeders, and her own experience told her it was probably something illegal. Well, something more illegal than just bringing technology outside the citadels, though what it was she couldn't tell.
However her instincts were telling her now was a good time to put on pants, just in case. So she reached out to her tan pants and pulled them on, buttoning them and moving on to her socks, then onto her boots, struggling with the laces a little.
"Hm... It doesn't feel right..."
Ervisa peered up at him as she tied off her last laces and tucked them under the tongue of her boot, with her pants bloused into them. His dark eyebrows were furrowed and his amber eyes suggested something was wrong. She reached out with her senses as well, which were far from rusty. They were like old leather, comfortable and broken in, and very smooth.
Yes, something was wrong. She could sense that much, and she could deduce it had to do with the speeders. There was some sort of dark intent about them, though not the taint of the Dark Side; whatever evil was going on was more garden variety.
"Ervisa, do you feel that?Something's going on over there."
She nodded her agreement as she strapped on her gun belt, tying the strap on the holster around her hip securely. "Yeah, I think we need to get moving. Looks like it's up to you and me to save the world."
Ervisa attached the D-ring on her lightsaber to her belt loop and checked the powerpack on the powerful Zabrak Tystel she carried. It was an older model blaster, but packed a hell of a punch. As she well knew, it was charged.
"All right, let's roll."

"Yeah, I think we need to get moving. Looks like it's up to you and me to save the world."
Tsubasa didn't move from where he stood, looking out at the tree line. If he'd had the presence of mind to think about it, he might have realized he probably looked like a figure from some painting or sculpture, standing there shirtless, with body slightly tensed and his hands curled into fists as he looked out into the distance.
That was the last thing on his mind, though. Cerea was the closest thing he had to a home, and someone was up to things they had no business doing.
Save the world? No, things probably weren't that dire. But they'd just have to see, wouldn't they?
He hopped down from his perch and grabbed his shirt to quickly pull it back on. As he grabbed his wan-shen and clasped it back to his belt, along with his flute, he felt a sting of annoyance that his more battle-ready clothing was still on the Vagabond. The little bits of armor he did wear might come in handy, if things got out of hand, but he would have to do without.
Besides, he always had the Force for armor. Quite literally.
"All right, let's roll."
Tsubasa nodded. "Right, just gimme a moment."
He fiddled around in his pocket, hoping what he was looking for hadn't been lost in the grasses while he'd been busy stripping for Ervisa. Thankfully it hadn't. His hand emerged, with a small circular comm in his fingers.
"Ifrit," he said into it, calling back to his small robotic companion back on the Vagabond. "I might need you. Come to me. You should be able to catch up."
A few moments of silence passed, and then... "I understand, Tsubasa. I am en route."
A little smile touched the edges of Tsubasa's mouth. "Good. I'll leave the comm on so you can track me. Remember to lock the Vagabond back up." He paused thoughtfully.
"And don't take any... actions unless I give you instructions to. Don't need you setting the world on fire."
"Tsubasa" Ifrit's reply came after a few more moments, sounding overly innocent, or as close to it as a droid could get. "I don't know why you would even suggest such a thing!"
Tsu shook his head and chuckled. "Yes you do. Now come on. Time's short."
He looked back to Ervisa as he pocketed the comm once more. "My compaion back on the ship. Figure he might be useful, depending on what happens." He just hoped Ifrit wouldn't need to use his chemical.
He couldn't bear the thought of this beautiful place being marred by an inferno.
"I'm ready. Let's go."
~~~~
He'd moved quickly. Tsu was quick enough naturally--he'd yet to meet someone faster--and with the Force flowing through him, he could push himself even further. He'd held back, though. No need to go leaving Ervisa behind, and the trip only really involved going around the lake.
Once they reached the trees on the other side, Tsubasa slowed to walk, then paused. "I can feel them now," he muttered. There several of them. People, doing something. But what?
He could feel more than that, though. It was more raw and wild, but he felt it strongly. Fear. Distress. Something very, very wrong was going on.
Tsu didn't notice his agitated sigh as he started to push ahead again, moving quietly, but with a purpose through the thin stand of trees.
Once again, he stopped as he reached the far side. He crouched down, staying hidden in the cover the trees offered as he peered out. Plains stretched on beyond the trees. The ground was largely flat, but began to roll with gentle hills the farther out it got from the lake, toward a distant range of mountains that loomed off on the horizon.
Beautiful as the scenery was, it might as well have not even existed. Tsu couldn't tear his eyes away from what he was seeing.
The speeders had been set down beyond the trees. A herd of some creature, mammalian-looking quadrupeds at least seven feet at the shoulder, with broad, flat heads were being surrounded by a group of people and picked off one by one. They were big, but Tsu knew they were slow and docile.
Tsu's knuckles went white as the clenched his fist. Anger rippled through him as he watched one of the men--one of the poachers--shoot a harpoon into one of the creature's feet. The harpoon latched itself in, and the man set the launcher to pull the metal cord that was looped through the end of it.
The beast roared in agony, a strange noise that sounded like it was several vocalizations at once. As the machine pulled its leg out from underneath it, it toppled to the ground, and some of the poachers descended on it with long metal rods that crackled with electricity and began to beat it while two more used the metal cord to wrap its feet together.
He could see another fallen beast being towed by one of the speeders to a ship that must have already been there. They used the cord to move it, dragging it along by the feet. It left a trail of blood on the ground.
Tsubasa growled, but he didn't notice that he did. "They have no right," he said angrily. "They shouldn't do this." He looked to Ervisa, his eyes suddenly hard and burning with fury. "We have to stop them."
As they set off into the forest, Ervisa easily proved she was capable of keeping up with her lover-of-the-day, staying right on his heels the whole time, content to let him lead on. His sense of directions in a forest were probably better than her own, though it was tempting to just race by him and leave him in her dust...
She resisted that urge and kept tight to him through the undergrowth, finally dropping flat on her stomach at the edge of the clearing, whipping out her blaster pistol just in case and watching what was going on quite carefully.
Now Ervisa Therani was hardly an expert in poaching, but she knew it when she saw it, and this was most definitely it. Harpoons, nets, shock sticks. All of it stacked up to the sinister thing she'd sensed, what Tsu had sensed as well.
The Mirialan woman was hardly a naturalist, and not the keenest woman in the galaxy on animals. She'd never had pets, she'd never ridden beats of burden, and she'd never worked on a farm. But what she saw sickened her. Animals were crying out in pain, and being relentlessly harried and wounded by the poachers. It was time to do something, she could feel that in her heart.
Long ago she'd taken herself out of the fight, sick of the casualties and fed up with the system. She'd been done with the good fight and wanted nothing more than her simple existence of lovemaking and drinking, but for some reason she felt the need to take a stand her and now, to put herself up against them.
"They have no right. They shouldn't do this. We have to stop them."
Ervisa nodded her agreement, appreciating the fire in those amber eyes. He was right, they had to take action. And it was time.
One thing most people would never know about Ervisa Therani was that she had a keen tactical mind, honed through years of Jedi experience and a few more years doing illegal activities. She knew precisely what to do now, and she had no qualms issuing commands.
"You sneak around and flank them while I cause a distraction. Try to take them quietly while I keep them busy. All right, GO!"
Ervisa waited a few seconds for him to follow her commands before leveling her blaster pistol at the nearest man, lining up the sites on his head. She squeezed the trigger, and at five pounds it broke. A blaster bolt streaked out and left a charred hole in his head as he crumpled to the ground. Immediately all hell broke loose.
Tsu didn't need to be given directions twice. Were he in a state of mind more geared toward thinking on such things, he might have been a bit surprised at the quickness with which Ervisa took a commanding position and formulated a plan, but that wasn't where he was now.
Instead, he just nodded with barely a grunt of acknowledgement and began to slink off away from her. When she made her move and confronted the poachers head-on, he faded back into the underbrush.
It was fair to say that stealth was not one of Tsubasa's specialties. It just wasn't something he'd been trained in, really; nor was it something that the Matukai were particularly known for. However, in the near decade or so since he'd wound up on his own, he'd learned a bit of sneaking around from some of the jobs he'd worked. He wasn't a ninja, but with some cover and distracted foes, he could make it work.
How fortunate for him to have cover, provided by the trees, and some extremely distracted foes.
Once he reached a spot he deemed sufficient, a few meters down from where he'd began, he crouched and waited, judging the situation. Though he knew he couldn't leave Ervisa to take on the whole group alone, he wanted to be sure he had a grip on what he'd be--literally--leaping into.
It also allowed more time for Ifrit to get closer. The little droid could be quite useful.
Useful or no, it was time for Tsubasa to do something. Most of the poachers were focused on Ervisa, as she'd intended it to be. Good, Tsubasa thought as he took a deep breath, filling his lungs with the pure Cerean air even as he began to fill his body with the purity of the Force. Makes getting close easier for me.
Tsubasa focused the Force in himself for a heartbeat. It swirled, strengthening his muscles, preparing his body for the coming action. He sincerely hoped none of the poachers was Force sensitive; he might as well have been yelling "HEY! LOOK OVER HERE!" to anyone that was.
Fortunately, that wasn't a concern. Tsubasa stood up and took his wan-shen from its place at his waist. With a flick and twist of his wrist, the weapon was extended to its full length of two meters. The darkened steel blade gleamed dangerously in the sunlight.
He stepped out of the trees. Then he jumped.
The Force propelled him forward, and he flew several meters into the air and came down with a dull thud and puff of dust. Right next to a knot of the poachers.
They turned, their faces suddenly shocked. Some of them started to turn their weapons toward him.
He struck with the back end of his weapon first. It was the heavy side, with a counterweight he'd made in the shape of a ring. It slammed into a poacher's knee with a terrifying crack, and the man fell to the ground with a scream.
Another poacher was starting to move toward him with one of the long electrified poles they'd used to subdue the large creatures. With the Force still flowing through him, Tsubasa wheeled around on his heel, his Force-aided motions no doubt blurring to the non-sensitive men.
He came around, stepping forward and into the charge of his incoming foe. The blade of his wan-shen flicked up, knocking the pole high enough for the poacher's grip to falter and the crude weapon to go flying off into the air. Tsu continued the motion, which had wan-shen circling around smoothly so that the counterweight came up at the unprepared man from below.
It smashed into his stomach. Hard. Hard enough to lift him briefly from his feet. He doubled over, wheezing and coughing and clutching his gut, before Tsu shoved him over with a kick.
As angry as he was, he didn't kill. The men deserved nothing less, and he had no qualms with Ervisa ending some of them if she chose to. But his mentor had taught him that life, in all its forms, was sacred.
No matter how much they deserved it, that was one thing he'd hold to. Incapacitate the ones he could, and think of a way to deal with them after the threat to the herd was neutralized.
As Ervisa had expected, the very second one of their own went down, a dozen blasters opened up on her position. Luckily she'd expected that and planned to compensate, rolling to the side and sheltering behind a boulder. She fired off shots blindly, not caring if she hit anyone especially, just working to keep heads down.
Soon she heard a scream, and that indicated to her that either Tsu had just kicked ass, or he needed help. Either which way, they'd probably be after him a little more now, and it was time for to come in and take names.
The Mirialan holstered her blaster pistol and pulled out her lightsaber, thumb finding the trigger swiftly as the navy blue blade appeared, shimmering with the distinctive crackling sound everyone knew as she held it in a comfortable back-handed grip...
She sprang to her feet promptly and stepped from cover, immediately drawing fire. Seemingly effortlessly, she swung her saber in a lazy circle, catching a staccato series of blaster fire and deflecting them all back onto the man who'd fired. Step by step she drew closer, reducing the number of her foes first by one and then by two. Slowly and steadily she drew closer, until she made contact, swinging her saber down onto a man's arm, rewarded by his scream. Well, not rewarded per se. If he'd shut up and cradle his new stump in quiet she'd have been much more grateful.
People were so unaccommodating...
A blaster shot came whizzing towards her, and Ervisa dropped to the ground in a roll, slicing a man's legs out from under him. That made four down, two lethally. It wouldn't hurt to see how Tsubasa was doing...
She sprinted off towards his presence in the Force, saber trailing behind her to catch any blaster bolts sent her way.
Constant movement. The poachers were wising up to Tsu's presence after his prompt disposal of two of their number. Several of them turned away from trying to fire at Ervisa and pointed their weapons at him.
He managed to attack another, rushing in with his uncanny agility and knocking the weapon from his hands. A low, sweeping kick whipped the man's legs out from under him. The weighted end of the wan-shen found his the man's chest while he was yet in the air and Tsubasa shoved him down to the ground. Ribs cracked loudly as the force of the ground pushing against him came against the force of Tsu's weapon pressing down, but Tsubasa paid that little mind; he was already moving again.
They were truly focused on him now. Blaster fire began to sear the air around him as he danced back to a sheltered position near speeder that'd been abandoned.
As it turned out, the driver hadn't left it completely; he'd taken cover behind it with a small blaster pistol, and when Tsubasa drew near, he sprang out and attacked.
Tsubasa answered quickly, the Force coalescing around his palm as he raised an empty hand before him. The blaster bolt hit his hand, then bounced away, as if from a lightsaber.
While the man was busy trying to keep his eyes from falling out of his head in surprise, Tsu moved and disposed of him as well. A quick grab to take him by the arm, knocking the pistol away, followed by the application of his wan-shen as a lever to throw him to the ground. Twist. Snap. Broken arm. It would suffice for the time being.
Tsu quickly ducked around behind the speeder, taking a moment of respite to survey the 'battlefield.' The poachers' numbers had been thinned, and severely so. Eight had been taken down between Ervisa and himself. Those that could still fight were starting to notice that, and were starting to slink back, toward their ship. Can't let them get away.
He noted that Ervisa was advancing now, pushing toward him through the fray with a dark blue lightsaber in hand.
As he made to move back out from behind his cover, he noticed a glint of sunlight catching on something metallic in the sky. The thing grew nearer, quickly coming into focus as a small, metallic droid that looked remarkably like a dragon with holographic wings.
Ifrit.
"Tsubasa!" The droid exclaimed, setting down on his shoulder. "I came as quickly as I could. The ship is locked a-"
"That's good Ifrit. I'm glad you're here," Tsubasa cut in quickly. "Look, get to that ship." He pointed toward the poachers' vessel. "Make sure there's no one on it and don't let them start it up if any of them make it back. You can... defend yourself if you need to, but be careful."
Ifrit studied the ship briefly, head tilted slightly. "I understand," he said, and took to the air, zipping off to the ship.
With Ifrit gone, Tsubasa drew a breath and called on the Force once more. Then he leapt from his cover, using the Force to speed him on once again. Ervisa was sprinting in his direction. They'd meet in the middle.
He stopped near a boulder, unfortunately close the corpse of one of the fallen creatures. He ducked down behind it, waiting for her to get there as well. "They're trying to get back to the ship. We need to cut them off."
Ervisa peered over the carcass of the creature at the fleeing poachers. They were in the awkward position of having two force-users between them and their speeders, and they were making a run for their ship over an open, grassy plain. Target practice seemed a little appealing right now, but something bothered her about shooting people in the back as they ran away.
There were the remains of honor about the Mirialan fringer, a certain code about her that she couldn't bring herself to break now. And she had to admit, she hated conflict now.
Fighting was just so distasteful, and why bother when you could have love? Yeah, she was fighting now. But she didn't like it, and she only did it because of those animals. Fighting was the lesser of two evils.
As it stood, the poachers had lost half their number, plus or minus one or two, and they were in full retreat. She was inclined to simply holster her pistol, claim victory, and let them run away. But...
Tsubasa didn't seem so inclined, suggesting they had to cut off their retreat. She disagreed, but there really wasn't much time or point to having an argument, and she knew full well he was serious about this. Serious enough to risk his life. That meant she could see it through a bit more.
The wheels in her head started to turn, and she examined their resources. A lightsaber, a blaster, a stick-thing, two warm bodies, and whatever was lying. Which included airspeeders.
Why walk when you can ride?
Ervisa sprinted over to one of them and vaulted over the door and into the driver's seat, firing up the repulsors. They came online with a whine, and she pulled on over to Tsu. She motioned him in with a gloved hand, beckoning him to her side.
"They can't outrun us in this, hop on. And bring your stick for hitting people."
Tsubasa's eyes lit up when Ervisa scampered off to the abandoned speeder and wheeled it around to him. In truth, he wasn't a man that reveled in this sort of thing; he could appreciate a good fight, but not this sort of fight. Even so, there was a little childish thrill that he felt at the prospect of hopping in that speeder and riding, wan-shen held out, while Ervisa charged them into the back of the retreating poachers.
It was probably the closest he'd ever come to participating in a cavalry charge.
As he jumped to his feet and climbed smoothly into the speeder, Tsu pushed those thoughts out of his mind and pulled himself back to the here and now. Ride the poachers down. Make sure they didn't escape, and call it a day. Then he'd somehow find a way to inform Cerean authorities without getting in trouble for breaking the law himself. Or reveal that Ervisa had been doing so as well.
Wasn't this supposed to be his off day?
"Floor it," he said as soon as he'd secured himself.
"Figuratively," he quickly added. Given the current situation, he doubted she'd literally floor it, but she was a woman with a wild streak. Perhaps it was his own attempt to inject a modicum of humor into a situation that was really quite dire.
The speeder lurched ahead. Tsu grabbed onto the dashboard with a hand and braced himself against his seat as they closed in on the poachers. The first one they closed in on had broken completely and turned his back to them in a mad sprint to get back to the ship. It was really a rather poor decision on his part, but it made the act of taking him down simple. A solid smack to the back of his head and down he went, tumbling over his own feet.
