Name: Senri Juren
Race: Human
Age: 25
Height:6’1
Weight: 160 lbs (11.5 Stone)
Appearance:
Senri has an average build with scruffy red hair and piercing pale blue eyes. He doesn't have any distinguishing marks on his body, but the contrast of his red hair and blue eyes is distinctive to anyone who sees them.
He prefers to wear bright white Jedi robes in lieu of the standard grey/brown robes. This is mainly because he believes he looks 'dashing' in white and he hates the brown that was chosen for the robes. The order doesn't have a problem with his robes obviously, but they say that a Jedi stands out in a crowd; Senri stands out in a crowd of Jedi.
Personality:
Senri is awkwardly quiet, usually only speaking when it’s necessary. Despite being wary of it, he finds the dark side slightly humorous at times, often chuckling a little bit when hearing taunts from followers of the dark side.
Senri is usually calm, mostly keeping to himself when possible, but like everyone, can be angered if you know which buttons to press. However, Senri doesn't become irrational, or crazed when he's angry. If anything, he stays calm. But it's an uncomfortable calm. The kind where he can kill a person, and be completely fine with it.
After a little bit of turmoil in the temple with the loss of his friend, Senri became quite secluded, only talking to his Master. However, the emotional turmoil was over-come and Senri became his awkward ol' self again.

Bio:
Senri Juren was born on Coruscant to a middle class family. His parents had tried for several children before, but each one had died either before, or just after birth. His parents-to-be (Mikal and Juria) had high hopes for this one.
His mother was a nurse at the best hospital on Coruscant, whereas his father was a Taxi driver for the upper city. Nothing fantastic, but between the two of them, they made enough money to be considered middle class.
He was born in a Republic hospital at exactly midnight, and given a midichlorian test. Showing the count to be unusually high he was given back to the family and the order was informed. On Senri’s second birthday, Jedi Knight Guren arrived at the house and informed the parents that Senri was ready to be taken to the order.
His parents required time to think it over and three days later, Guren returned for an answer. Senri’s parents seemed almost divided at the idea. His father seemed overjoyed at the idea of his son possible becoming a Jedi, whereas his mother was extremely hesitant.
Guren continued to emphasis the fact that they could wait for his sixth birthday to decide, but Juria eventually decided it was best for her son. The order could provide a better life for Senri than they could.
And so, Senri was taken by Knight Guren to the temple to begin his new life, leaving his barely started old one behind.
Senri started his training as a youngling in the Jedi Temple on Coruscant. His force sensitivity leaved much to be desired, but it would soon become apparent that he was more than they thought.
He had several friends in his training classes, although he barely spoke to them. In fact, Senri barely spoke at all.
As soon as he started lightsaber training, Senri took more to the defensive lessons than the aggression. He preferred blocking shots and other sabers than swinging for a hit. He continued in his lessons, but was considered to be outdone by a fellow student called Kaname, who focused more on the aggression. Despite being very defensive, Senri showed to be able to move his saber extremely quickly, in addition, he could circle around opponents with ease. His speed proved to be a great asset for defense and evasion.
It would not be revealed until later that the two were actually equal. The unstoppable force and the immoveable object, as they would be compared to.
The two never actually duelled in the class for a while. It was simply fate. They always paired with others. Kaname would pound his opponent into the dust with powerful blows.
Senri on the other hand would take more time with his fights. Using the defensive stances he had learnt in the classes, his allowed his opponent to tire himself out before taking an easy strike and winning.
In the classes, Senri took more to Form 3-Soresu- as they provided what Senri considered to be the best defensive tactics.
When Senri and Kaname were 12, they were finally allowed to duel one another. By this time, everyone knew of their aptitudes, and the duel was held in the entry hall to Temple, allowing all the Jedi to watch.
As the teachers had expected, the two were impressive. Kaname powerful blows staggered Senri at first, but he was able to quickly compensate and deflect the blows, but not always landing a blow, or even having enough time to start a counter attack.
Senri kept to the defensive while Kaname threw blow after blow at him, putting so much power behind his strikes. It was a while before Kaname began to falter, his blows becoming lighter and lighter. However, the strength of his attacks had also whittled Senri down, and his defence was slowly crumbling.
However, what seemed like hours after the fight began, Kaname brought an overhead blow down on Senri, which was blocked with a high defence, followed by a swift kick to Kaname’s chest, which sent him stumbling backwards, dropping his saber. It was here that Senri kicked the saber far away and levelled his own at Senri’s head, winning the duel.
After the duel, the two became good friends. When they were 13, they and the rest of their class were taken for the selection ceremony. Kaname and Senri stood at the front of the class in the council chambers and Knights stepped forward to take Padawans.
Senri immediately recognised Guren as one of the Knights seeking an apprentice, and noticed that he was staring at him. Obviously already being chosen, Senri simply awaited the two names to be called out and he followed Guren out of the temple.
Senri spent most of time in the temple practising defensive techniques. It slowly came to light that his lack of force aptitude came from the fact that he was best with defensive force power and the telekinesis.
A lot of Senri’s duels would be with his Master Guren. Despite being defensively minded, Senri lost every single match which- despite expecting it- still upset him a little. Guren continued to throw advice at Senri whenever he could, constantly trying to make him the best he could be.
For the first 2 years of training him, Guren tried to focus more on Senri’s offensive tactics, but it proved to be futile and Senri struggled to grasp the offensive forms and stances. Guren eventually gave up and allowed Senri to continue focusing on his defensive powers. He taught him how to channel the force, and how it could stop objects in their tracks if channeled correctly. Despite several attempts, Senri had a lot of trouble channelling the force, and it was proving to be very difficult.
He continued to practise using small objects and very low power laser shots. Just enough to cause light burning to encourage him to try harder.
When Senri was 15, he demonstrated the ability to use Force Deflect. During training with Guren, the battle seemed to be going well for Senri until he was knocked away and his saber dropped from his hands. As Guren stabbed out with the training saber, Senri raised his hands and reached out with the force, stopping the blade in front of his palm. Guren immediately de-activated the blade and congratulated Senri.
It was at this point, Guren figured Senri was ready for a mission except for one thing. Senri was taken and allowed to create his first lightsaber. Not being particularly force adept, Senri scrapped his first lightsaber. As the blade ignited, the containment barrier broke, sending the blade significantly longer than was expected.
Guren encouraged Senri to try again and the second time was a success. Using a pale blue crystal, the saber lit up the room, gently illuminating the happy faces of Senri and Guren. Finally, Senri was ready for his first mission.
Guren had received an assignment from the council to go to Onderon and check up on the on-going trade treaties between the Nobility there and a small Hutt clan on a moon in a neighbouring system.
Taking a small republic shuttle up to a Hammerhead- Class Battleship, they set off to Onderon.
Arriving, they took the shuttle down to the Palace and Guren and Senri entered. They sat in on the trade negotiations and listened/meditated.
The Hutts were a pain in the butt, wanting to take more but give less. It seemed like he almost struggled to understand the idea of negotiations. Looking around though, the Hutts bodyguards seemed less than intent on the talking. They were constantly looking around, in every nook and cranny as if looking for something.
Guren told Senri to investigate their activities which he did, and their motives soon became apparent when Senri overheard them talking about the security system and what they could do to either over-ride of ignore it.
Senri informed Guren of what he had heard and Guren immediately informed both the Nobility and the Head of Security for the Palace.
The negotiations continued, but with increased security. Eventually though, after 2 weeks, the Hutt had had enough and his security forces turned their weapons on the nobility. In a flash, Guren and Senri were up in front, sabers drawn deflecting the blaster bolts. Carnage ensued in the main hall as the two security forces clashed head to head.
As Senri stayed with the King and Queen, Guren leapt over the entire battle and blocked the door from the escaping Hutt. The Hutt and the remainder of his security force were arrested whilst Senri and several medical groups tended to the injured.
With thanks, Guren and Senri departed the palace. They boarded the Hammerhead and set off back to Coruscant. Arriving back at the temple, Guren and Senri went to the council chamber and Guren delivered his report.
Wandering around the Temple, Senri eventually ran into a somewhat distressed Kaname. After an extremely brief, one sided discussion, Kaname informed Senri that on one of the missions, his Master had been killed by a Dark Jedi. Kaname soon left the Temple, and Senri lost contact with his best friend.
Senri actually fulfilled one part of the Trials when he was 17- 2 years later. On a mission to Kuat, Guren and Senri discovered a Dark Jedi operative. Confronting him, Guren and Senri moved in to attack, Senri keeping his attention as much as possible and using his defensive knowledge as best he could to aid his master.
However, the operative knocked Senri aside, and quickly threw Guren into a large piece of ship material, then collapsing the material on top of him, burying him under it.
Senri was left to fight the operative alone. As they fought, the brute strength of the blows took him back to his fight with Kaname. Deciding to stick to the same tactic, Senri continually blocked, always staying on the cautious defensive, occasionally going for one attack to keep the Dark Jedi interested.
They fought for a while until the Dark Jedi eventually threw Senri aside and fled the battle. Once Senri had picked himself up off the floor with the help of the locals who were scared to step forward to help earlier, they all dug through the wreckage and pulled an unconscious Guren out alive. Using his power, Senri healed his master as much as he could before taking him to the Kuat medical center.
Making contact with the Council, Senri informed them what had transpired and requested a course of action. The Council told Senri that their mission was finished and that when Guren was healthy enough, they needed to return to the temple.
As they headed back, Senri questioned Guren and it was eventually revealed that their mission was actually to find out if the 'Dark Forces' had reached Kuat. Despite being somewhat frustrated he hadn’t been told the real nature of their mission, Senri wasn’t too upset as he was told by the council that his actions against the Dark Jedi fulfilled the criteria for the Trails of Skill and Courage.
The other two Trials were simulated by the Council when he was 18, but Senri still felt he had achieved a great deal with them. The Trial of Flesh was not hard because Senri still felt for the loss of his friend Kaname, who had still not been heard of since his departure from the Temple. Not even the Masters on the council had heard anything.
The trials went without a hitch and Senri finished them with relative ease. He considered the hardest ones were obviously the ones out in the field against the unidentified Dark Jedi who had confronted himself and Master Guren.
Senri never left the Temple much after that, mainly because Guren didn’t either. It wasn’t due to any stress or injury, but simply because he continued to turn down assignments. He insisted it was because he would rather help Senri train. He believed that Senri could become so much, and that his defensive techniques were incredible.
At age 22, Senri was finally knighted and released from Guren's heel. Despite being sent on missions, Senri continued to stay in contact with Guren, whether it was simply checking up on him, and sometimes CC-ing him in mission reports he considered exceptional.
Five years after the Dark Jedi encounter the Council contacted Senri and requested his go back to Kuat to check on the Jedi presence there. Senri grabbed a shuttle and headed out to Kuat.
Setting down, it was several weeks until he found the Dark Jedi which he unfortunately was forced to engage. The following battle moved all around the ground factories, damaging a large portion of the facility.
However, Senri was not concerned with the factory, when it turns out during the fight, to be his old friend, Kaname. After whittling him down- once again- the two exhausted fighters are forced to end it, permanently. Senri is forced to kill his friend. Finally ending the fight, Senri stayed to bury his friend.
It is at this point, Senri begins to doubt his life in the Order. His first mission alone, and he was forced to kill his best friend. He left Kuat and allowed the ship to drift through space, giving him time to think. Think about what he had done, what he was doing, and what he wanted.
After two whole days, he had had enough of thinking, and entered hyperspace back to Coruscant. This was one report he wouldn't send to Guren. Setting the ship down outside the temple, Senri slowly walked in and to the council chambers. He stood before the council as they congratulated him on his defeat of the Dark Jedi assassin. Their words simply glazed over him as he didn't listen to a word they said, constantly thinking about what he had done, and how he could ever make up for it.
Once they had finished talking, he departed the chambers and went for several days of meditation.
Almost following in Guren's footsteps, Senri turned down assignments, in favour of more menial tasks. Tasks that allowed him to think through everything that had ever happened to him, and he began to wonder where his life would take him.
RP Sample:
Senri had been tailing the Sith for several hours now, and they had ended up in the ground based factories of Kuat. The factories that were used to create tanks and gunships for the republic army. Senri had never visited these factories before, but they outside was gleaming and amazing. The people of Kuat obviously took pride in their manufacturing skills. Senri watched form a distance as the Sith he had been following entered the factory through the main doors.
Senri followed suite and mingled n with a group of factory workers who were starting their shifts. They all entered through the main gate, and the workers dispersed to their stations, leaving Senri standing in the middle of the entrance looking in. It was then he sensed it.
Diving sideways, he narrowly avoided the red blade that plunged into the floor. He continued to roll for a second before sliding up to his feet, crouched down with his saber hilt firmly in his hand. Crouched where he was, he saw a robed figure, with a red saber plunged into the floor, almost down to the hilt. There was definitely some oomph behind that attack. He looked up to be met with the traditional Sith warrior mask. The same mask from all those years ago with Guren. He could tell by the tell-tale break in the right cheek that Guren had caused.
Senri stood up and activated his saber, sliding backwards into a defensive stance in the Soresu form. The pale sky blue lighting up the brilliant white of his custom robes. The Sith stood up, sliding his saber out of the ground and moving into a very aggressive stance.
“Haven't I dealt with you before?” He jabbed.
Senri didn't answer, but stayed in his form, keeping his concentration on the target. The Sith always tried to deceive their opponent and distract them. The Dun Moch it was called.
However, the trick seemed to backfire, and the Sith's body language gave away that he was somewhat annoyed by the lack of response for his taunting. Instead, he lunged forward with an easily deflected blow. Senri brought the saber around, knocking the Sith's blade away, spinning both swordsmen until they had traded places. Senri slid his foot back and locked his leg, keeping him steady, but ready to push off if necessary.
The Sith turned. “I don't even need my saber to kill you. Weak and pathetic.” Lowering his saber, he raised his hand and released a volley of force lightning. Senri simply moved his saber in front of the stream and absorbed the blue beams into the saber.
The workshop had ground to a halt as people watched, but backed away. Senri unlocked his legs and slowly began walking in a circle, the Sith mimicking his actions and they circled around one another.
“You're master didn't prove much of a fight. I hope you trained slightly harder.” He tried again.
Senri fidgeted a little bit at that one and grimaced slightly, but he kept his concentration and- using the force- picked up a large piece of metal behind the Sith and pulled it towards them. The Sith obviously detected it and leapt backwards over it. Senri followed suite and allowed the piece of metal to fly under him.
As he landed, he saw the Sith warrior charging forward at him, with his saber raised and ready to swing. Senri barely had time to steady himself and raise his saber in time to defend, but the Sith had other ideas. Instead of pulling away like last time, he pushed forward, making Senri stumble, and swung again, and again, and again.
Slowly, Senri was pushed back towards the large factory machines by the ruthless onslaught of the Sith warrior. Block after block, the two saber blades clattered together with ferocious force. The sheer power of the swings took Senri back to his childhood duel with his friend Kaname.
The two of them duelled like this: hard, powerful blows, rivalled by a strong, solid defense. All that was different was the scenery, the strange mask looking at him, and the flashes of red that he was forced to block.
Senri ducked under one particularly vicious blow towards the hard, spun on his toe and kicked out, planting his foot firmly on the chest of the Sith, knocking him through the air onto his back. Before he could recover, Senri leapt up onto a walkway several feel up. The workers watching from there scuppered away knowing what was coming. Pushing one another out of the way to get far away as quickly as possible.
The Sith stood up and looked up at Senri. Bending at the knees, he leapt up onto a piece of machinery, then up again onto the walk way, blocking the workers from the stairway. Senri's eyes widened in fear as he realised what was going to happen.
The Sith raised his hand forward and unleashed a massive force push, sending the workers flying towards Senri. Knowing there was nothing he could do to help them, Senri dived over the side of the railing, grabbing the floor grate and swinging back around and landing back on the walkway once the bodies had passed. He readied himself and raised his lightsaber above his head, ready to deflect anything coming at him.
The Sith calmly walked forward, then brought a massive swing around that when Senri blocked it, almost knocking him over the walkway railings. There was something not right about this Sith... his fighting style was too familiar. Worrying too much about the familiarity of the fight, Senri failed to notice the foot coming at him, landing barely below his throat, sending him falling and sliding along the walkway.
He flipped himself back up with acrobatics and ignited his saber which he had barely held onto whilst sliding. Landing on his feet, he released a large force push towards the Sith. However, he simply absorbed the blast and laughed.
“Is that the best you have!?”
Senri couldn't see, but he had the feeling that the Sith was smiling under that mask. He raised his saber, as did the Sith and they both took two steps. The Sith moved forward, Senri moved back.
Senri felt the railing behind him and he knew he was at the end of the line. His foe also knew that. The tensing of his body language told Senri he was preparing a powerful strike.
As the Sith lunged forward, Senri leapt backwards over the railing aiming for the ground. However, the Sith stopped and released a massive force wave, pushing Senri into the wall and sending his saber falling away from him.
He followed it to the floor and slowly got up. By the time he reached his feet, the Sith was also back on the floor firing bolts of force lightening at the escaping workers. Senri stood up and launched a piece of metal that was going to be a gunship hull plate towards the Sith.
He spun around and swung his saber, separating the hull around him. “Naughty naughty!” He pushed Senri back into the wall, then charged forward. His brought his saber in to Senri's heart. However, Senri looked up and raised his hand, using the force to stop the saber short of his hand.
Slowly, Senri got to his feet, still blocking the saber with his hands as the Sith tried his hardest to push it into him. Quickly though, Senri, spun sideways around the Sith, getting around behind him and planting a firm boot on his hamstring, forcing him to the ground. Rolling him over, Senri punched him hard in the stomach then ripped the mask off for a punch to the face.
Before the punch though, Senri shot up and backed away. He couldn't believe his eyes. Looking up at him, was the face of his friend, Kaname.
“No. Kaname.” Senri stuttered. He watched as his friend got to his feet and raised his hand. His lightsaber sliding towards him then jumping up to his hand. Senri knew he had no choice but to reciprocate, and pulled his own saber towards him, catching it in his hand and igniting it once more.
“It's taken you this long to realise it was me? I'm ashamed. I thought we were best friends.”
He stepped forward and swung his saber, forcing Senri to block and block. He couldn't bring himself to swing his saber knowing who it was now. He continued to block and dodge saber blades. He knew there was no way of getting out of it though. He would have to kill his best friend....

22+: Knighthood
