Vance nodded as Anahid spoke. She was right; one plant couldn't grow without quashing one of its bretheren. It was the simple fact; even these plants in their seemingly peaceful way of life waged mutual war every second trying to stay alive. It was the epitome of survival; a do-or-die scenario.
And yet... the plants fight was natural. There was no greed in it. There was no seek for gain. There was merely the need to survive. If each plant had adequate space, they wouldn't fight until their space was jeopradizied. If that time never came, the plant's life would be unchallenged.
There's surely enough space for everyone in this galaxy of ours, Vance thought, mulling Anahid's words. We can all survive, can't we? Again, it wasn't that simple. Perhaps everyone could survive in the sense of simply living, but with the luxury of no longer having to worry about life itself everyday, people began to develop other irks. Wars once fought for resources now became the clash of ideas. What had once been two men fighting to live another day had become two men fighting to prove which one of them was right and which was wrong.
I suppose sentience is both our greatest gift and our most despicable curse.
"So we try to simply keep the garden balanced?" Vance asked, starring at the garden. "No, that's not right. The flowers will always contend; one of them succumbing while another triumphs is inevitable."
Vance turned and focused on Anahid. The next answer she gave would be imperative. "How can we determine where to act and where to remain idle? The Force guides us, but not so directly..."

((OOC--- Mike i think Anahid was speaking about the one vine that was choking out the other lol i Don't think you need to worry about it though as you seem to explain yourself pretty good about the normal garden Except certain plant live better in groups.))
Gharassk Let out a small sigh then began to speak.
Not helping would condemn the innocent to death as if you where saying the good was not worth protecting from the evil.
Gharassk then knew that those few word would not make Anahid change her mind which was not his goal, his goal was simply to at least get her to see that this was one of few times that it was needed to help others at the cost of... balance.
every life is worth saving however all have open will to choose what to do with there own life, The Sith have done just that Chose to Kill,Murder, and darkness. We chose to save, protect, Heal. He waved his hand to the plant again. Yet Both Jedi, And, Sith have there own choice, Trust me when i say i do not wish to kill, However if it means saving billions then i would do what was required for the good and innocent are worth saving from the dark. Balance must be needed Death would plague the Galaxy if the Jedi turn away now. The Republic could not hold agents the Sith alone.

Anahid listened quietly as Vance spoke and she couldn’t help but smile. Yes, the garden would always content, as would animals, as would any expanding civilization, it was part of their nature, something none could deny. Perhaps they would expand in different ways, some taking peaceful approaches while others opted to smother and kill, but in the end, the motivation was the same – growth. One could admit that the similarities between nature and civilizations were rather curious, but still helpful. At the very least in helped her understand, to a minimum extent, the overall reason for this senselessness.
She furrowed her brow slightly and gave a heavy sigh, “The truth is that we can’t; at the end of the day, the decision to act remains within the individual,” She paused slightly and glanced at the two Padawan, “That is why the Jedi and the Sith can never see eye to eye. We both have a similar motivation, though both pursue it in very different forms.” One sought war in order to prevail, the other fought in hope of having goodness prevail; and none were willing to accept the full survival of the other.
Could it be that simple? No, of course not.
Anahid knew it was far more complicated, but she still felt torn every time the thought came to her – what dictated the righteousness of one over the other? What determined which actions were good and which were evil? Take away the two sides of the force, names, and all available distinctions, at the end of the day both sides had killed, destroyed lives that could have lived so much more.
“Some have a choice,” She corrected, “…others were dragged into this madness involuntarily; and until we know the reason behind the path they chose or were given, we cannot judge – we cannot expect to understand – that is the biggest mistake one can make.”

Gharassk felt that the end of his night had come, the first yawn came from him in hours.
This is not the end of the three of us, the force will bring me back to the both of you I feel. Gharassk didn't know if any of his words had touched her but there all had valid points, yes Jedi did not like the killing, but in order for peace... and freedom from the Sith's slavery some would need to fight.
With those words and that thought Gharassk Walked back to the temple.
You and i both are correct Anahid...
Gharassk would return to his room for much needed rest but not escape the nightmare of his former master's threats.
((Gongrats with that the thread ends, thats a wrap.))
