I just want to get a feel of your guys' favorite literature pieces. This will help me understand you guys as people and not just sw characters! Lol
My favorite book would have to be The Hobbit by J.R.R. Tolkien. It's a wonderful prequel to the Trilogy and, in itself, just an amazing book by an amazing fiction writer.
What about you guys? And don't say the scripts to the original SW movies! Lol

Well, I grew up with Harry Potter books. Been reading it since I was 7 so the series has a lot of sentimental value to me. Also, I was a pretty stupid kid back then, so not much reading beyond that. XD

Neuromancer by Wiliam Gibson It's from a dying breed of literature called cyber punk, I think it was written around 50's - 60's and was one of the first in which ideas like internet were mentioned. It is really great but not overly tiring story about cyber cowboy who had lost his gift to surf the network after poisoned with neurotoxins. It has everything, action, some non cliche romance and deep philosophical undertones about what it means to be alive or to be human. If any of you likes sci-fi but not in so much far away future, Neuromancer is a must

Those who have kept track of the my various username changes on the forum might have observed my fondness for Robert Jordan's (and Brandon Sanderson's) epic Wheel of Time series. Can't wait for A Memory of Light!

Got to pick PG Wodehouse. His work is pure brilliance. The Code of the Woosters is possibly my favorite.

I don't know if I could ever pick one book that I like over all the rest. It would really have to depend on genre, or even which time of my life. (I still have some favorites from childhood).
But if I had to throw something out there without being too specific in any category... I'd go with Timeline by Michael Crichton. Like I said though, I have many, many favorites.

The literature you all picked seems to go hand and foot with what I know of each of you. Seems to mirror your guys' personalities.
I too like the Harry Potter series. Did you know she started writing them on scrap paper while she was at the laundry matt waiting on her clothes?

Animist, by Eve Forward. Great fantasy world. Was supposed to have a sequel but it got canned. Galilee, by Clive Barker. ...Super raunchy. Heheh. And of course, all of The Edge Chronicles books. By Paul Stewart and Chris Riddell. AWESOME fantasy world--almost child-like, but very very dark at times. Great reads, all.

I read so much that it's always difficult to narrow it down. That said, there are a few novels and series that stand out for me.
Belgariad series - David Eddings I have fond memories of these books. Full of humor and wit.
X-wing series - Michael Stackpole/Aaron Allston Great books! Some of my favorite Star Wars. I like how it focuses on the 'normal' guys - not all battles are fought with Lighsabers!
Magician - Raymond E. Feist Just all around good fantasy.
The Twilight War - Paul S. Kemp Fast paced fantasy. Kemp has a knack for writing antiheroes.
Lord of the Ring - J.R.R Tolkien It's Lord of the Rings!
