Bio: Sela was born in the Ahto City Hospital at 4:32 in the morning. The doctor declared her a healthy female and they were allowed to depart from the hospital. Her father was a wealthy Kolto smuggler who provided extra kolto to both sides. As a baby she was treated well. Her mother denying her husbands offer to hire a nanny to care for her.
Her mother was an independent woman and didn't want someone else caring for her child. This attitude carried throughout Sela's years as a toddler and she developed a strong bond with her mother. Even though her father was always off on shipment runs, he still found time to come home and be a part of his daughters life.
At the age of five Sela was enrolled in public school and for four days of the week she went to preschool. Learning Selkath and Galactic Basic with the other children. Though, unlike the other children when Sela came home from school her father gave her extra lessons. He taught her how to fire a blaster rifle, how to speak huttese and he taught her an in depth view of electronics.
In first grade Sela was ridiculed for being one of the few human children and she went home crying many days. This was the first time her perfect grades dropped swiftly, alerting her parents to the issue. Her mother was furious and she began a homeschool course with Sela, but the taunts of the Selkath followed her wherever she went.
Sela displayed her brilliance and natural knack at math under her mothers teaching and the local schoolboard took an interest in her. They wanted to have such a brilliant mind under their control, but their offers to give Sela the education she could never get from her mom weren't enough to pry her daughter from her protective grasp just yet.
Sela was deprived of social interactions and desired to make friends, so she asked her mom if she could go to public school. At first her mother said no, but continuous begging broke her down and at the age of 9 Sela was back to attending public school. At first the other children were wary of her, but they quickly realized how friendly she was and she made a whole slew of friiends.
Her life was tipped upside down when her mother received dreadful news from one of her fathers partners. Her father had been shot by galactic authorities on Coruscant when he was unloading a shipment of Kolto and Spice to a powerful crimelord. And if that wasn't bad enough, her mother, stricken with grief, threw herself off the edge of the city. Her body lost forever in the watery depths.
So at the age of eleven, Sela was left parentless, living in a local orphanage. Again her grades in school plummeted and her friends abandoned her. To Sela, her life seemed empty and hopeless. This pattern continued for two years before the Director of the orphanage spoke to her about her grades. Inspired and feeling a sense of wasted time, Sela focused on school again. Distracting herself by wandering the vast, endless levels of Manaan.
She was hired on by the local Holonet center as a coffee girl. She built strong leg muscles sprinting from the studio to the local cafe or cantina to grab drinks and then sprint all the way back. Even with the stress of the part time job, Sela managed to balance it with her homework and she excelled far beyond any of the other students. Sela's only goal during these years was to escape the orphanage and rent her own apartment.
Being only sixteen, Sela couldn't rent her own apartment, but the director of the orphanage kindly paid the rent using Sela's hard earned funds. Sela enjoyed the seclusion from the rest of the world. The life changing day came on Sela's seventeenth birthday, she was accepted to the Ahto University. She would Major in computer sciences. Sela graduated from highschool a year earlier than she was supposed too. Her college life beginning a year earlier.
Sela had a relatively boring college life. She was never one to go out and party, not that she was ever invited to parties. She spent her nights wading through her massive piles of homework and research. The only good thing that came out of college besides her degree was that she met Hethen. Hethen was a year older than her and at first she was completely oblivious to his romantic advances on her. Though, her ignorance didn't last for long. Their relationship continued through the rest of her schooling years. She graduated at the age of 21 and was immediately hired by the Kolto Distribution Center.

Sela smiled at him, her wavy golden hair swaying in the salty ocean breeze you could never escape. Even here in the lower house levels the wind managed to creep through the entire city. Though, you hardly noticed it after a while, well for most people anyways. For Sela the smell never blended in with all the others. It was as evident as ever.
Hethen didn't seem to notice the smell. When Sela used to ask him about it he just looked at her like she was crazy with his deep ocean blue eyes.
"Are you listening?" his musical voice asked, laughing at the dazed look on her expression. He never was angry with her...
