Name: Chazz Marsee
Race: Human
Age: 26
Height: 5'11"
Weight: 195 lbs
Birth place: Outskirts of Mos Espa, Tatooine
Appearance: Chazz is rather average height, weight, and muscle build for a human his age. He has soft, boyish features and generally keeps a neat shaved face. He has dark, brown eyes and short, dark brown hair with bangs that sweep over his forehead.
Born and raised on the desert planet of Tatooine has led Chazz to prefer thin, loose fitting clothing. You'll usually catch his wearing light colored clothes, in order to help combat the heat of the world. The frequent dust storms also help in keeping most of his clothes, and face, rather dusty.
Personality: Chazz Marsee is a simple, kind-hearted man. Giving you the shirt on his back if you requested it. He doesn't discriminate against any race or religion. Despite those characteristics, Chazz isn't quiet or dull. He is quite the opposite, telling jokes almost nonstop and isn't really serious unless at either of his jobs at the monastery or Lup's General Store.
He likes, or rather loves, women. Almost all women at that rate. You could catch him flirting with a lovely Twi'leck dancer one second and then ordering a drink for a lovely black woman another second later. He doesn't like alcohol, saying it ruins his ability to think clearly, but that doesn't stop him from visiting local cantina's to hang with friends and get an eye full from all the women. Chazz also loves children, he would adopt all of them so they wouldn't have to be sold as slaves if he could. He also has a strong bond to his family, particularly his father.
His loyalty is that to himself, his friends and family, and his boss. He isn't a slave, but he does feel like he owes something to his previous boss at Lup's General Store, Gau Lup, when he saved him from a bad beating in his early years.

Bio: 26 years ago, on the barren and desert planet of Tatooine, two poor moisture farmers gave birth to yet another beautiful, baby boy. His name came from both his parents, Chrissy and Dazz Marsee. Thus, Chazz Marsee was born into the world of two suns. Being the youngest of seven children, all boys, Chazz was always considered the baby. He would run crawl around naked following his daddy around everywhere it seemed. He was definitely a father's boy. He had his dad's great looks, but as time would progress, he'd share his mom's personality. As he started to grow from an infant he was coddled. His father gave him the best, well whatever he could afford, of whatever Chazz needed. His family was poor, so it often wasn't that much.
Even though the older boys did most of the work on their farm, Chazz was outside trying to learn the ways of the moisture business even at the young age of three. None of his older brothers had went to school, stating working for what little money they made was better than learning about some dead guys. Chazz was different though. He went to the small school in nearby city of Mos Espa almost everyday, and when he didn't his mother, who was quite intelligent for a woman on Tatooine and also had a knack for learning like her son, would teach him everything from math, science, spelling, history, and even about his dead ancestors. They too were moisture farmers. Chazz's dad didn't mind his youngest son going to school and learning, he had more than enough sons to help him on the farm and he wished only the best for his family.
School in Mos Espa was very basic, a few dozen young children in a couple rooms reading out of a couple holograms. It wasn't the best facility of learning out there, but it was better than nothing. He was exceedingly popular with most kids, never fighting but always debating about something. He did so in a way, however, that didn't anger his fellow classmates. No name calling or anger involved in his discussions and his charisma always helped. Even at a young age his good looks and charismatic behavior helped him sway school debates and discussions.
As Chazz began to grow from a young child to a pre teen his thirst for knowledge began to grow as well. The small school he was going to wasn't the best of facilities and his mother's knowledge only went so far. His father offered to teach him how to use a blaster and Chazz loved to learn anything, and he especially wanted to be like his dad, so he accepted his dad's training and young Chazz would go out every evening when his dad was done working the moisture farm and they would shoot at small metal targets. It wasn't exactly like reading out of a hologram or listening to a lecture but Chazz loved it.
He did enjoy playing with classmates and flirting with young, pretty girls. His respect and yearning for the opposite sex was obvious even at his young age. This was made clear at school when he offered to help tutor other classmates, females, during recess and lunch break. His tutoring sessions consisted of small pecks on the lips and cheeks while the teachers weren't looking. Yes, Chazz was growing into a beautiful boy and everyone knew it. His personality, along with his looks and yearning for knowledge led everyone to believe he was destined for something far greater than becoming a moisture farmer. Chazz was far too modest to accept the fact that he was greater, in any ways, than the common person. Time would tell for him, though, time would certainly tell.
Even all this wasn't enough to quench his thirst though, so one day while he was in town he decided not to go to school and he wandered around the dusty city until he came across a monastery. It was an old building, covered in dust you could barely make out the original color of green under all the dirt and grime. Chazz's family never talked to him about religion, but maybe the priests inside too had things they would teach Chazz, would was now 10. He wandered inside and several monks began asking why he was here and Chazz began to explain how school was becoming too drab and mundane and how he wanted to expand his knowledge of the world and galaxy around him in any ways possible. The monks decided that if it was okay with his parents that they would teach Chazz about the Order of Ninn. As two of the monks began to escort Chazz home they began to explain their views to him.
Their religion originates from the original Priests of Ninn off of the planet Ninn. They continued to go on and explain how they believe the world was created by a high powerful being, not in his image, but in the image of the world they were created on. This in turn shows why their is such variation in life in the galaxy and it's up to the monks to catalog as much life as possible. They are a small order, numbering only 12 monks at this one church, 9 of them were away gathering more information about different species and plant life.
They would explain more if Chazz's parents allowed him to study with them, and when they reached him home and began talking to his parents, who didn't discriminate against anyone for anything, allowed Chazz to study with them. Chazz was excited, but he also wondered if the monks would make him wear the green vestments they had on. They couldn't be cool wearing them in the hot Tatooine sun.
Chazz spent more and more of his time with the monks at East Street Road Monastery of Ninn. Over the years they've collected such a vast amount of knowledge on different galactic species, wildlife, and even gangs and warring factions. They had hundreds of holograms with many hours of information on each one. And after he was done cleaning the church everyday the monks would allow him to go through any holograms he wanted to. Though he never really delved into the actual aspect on their religion, just merely studying their collective group of knowledge.
Being just a boy of 14 he knew more about the world and the different people inhabiting it then most people knew right before they died. Being book smart though didn't help pay bills or buy food, they didn't even help in keeping him safe on the dangerous streets of Mos Espa. This would explain why one day, while studying a Jawa man at his shop on the busy streets, the Jawa took offense at his starring and ordered two of his slaves to beat him senseless. Chazz wasn't a coward, but wasn't much of a fighter either. He tried to defend himself, but was quickly beaten to the ground. Before they could really start putting the hurt on him however, another Jawa appeared and began speaking to the other. Chazz couldn't understand them, but the beating stopped and the Jawa that saved him, Gau Lup, ordered Chazz up and into his shop. He explained that he was low on staff and didn't take to buying slaves. He wanted Chazz to work his shop, cleaning weapons and stacking stock, to pay off his debt for him potentially saving his life. Chazz wasn't a foul now was he dishonest. He knew he had saved him from a good beating and was willing to work his shop. Even though the position was suppose to be temporary Chazz soon realized working there, safe from the streets and after getting to know Gau was better than getting beatings on the street.
It was difficult, however, for Chazz to work at Lup's shop and still visit the monastery. He's started to take up basic training in priesthood there, along with still cleaning the monastery. He'd made an arrangement with his parents and the monks. He's stay at the church and once a week he's send half his pay to his family. He made a little more than a moisture farmer and had no bills with monks, so he was happy to help his family out.
Chazz still visited his parents on their farm ever week or so and he also went to the monastery every day after work to check in with the priests and continue his training. They were always out collecting new data about everything from flora and fauna of different planets to the news stretching from the inner rim planets to the outer rim worlds. He also took up a more permanent job there, tending to misguided souls while the other monks were away on business. He didn't mind though, meeting new people and talking to them was actually his most favored duty at the church.
More and more priests would leave at a time now, considering that Chazz had went through enough training so he could tend to the monastery alone now. Now many people would come in for a confession or ask for guidance in the galaxy, but when they did Chazz was qualified to help and consult with the poor souls. All the conversing with different walks of life helped him with his charisma and people skills. He was naturally charismatic and nice, so it wasn't hard for him to build on those skills.
Chazz loved anything to learn though, he was learning street smarts from Lup and also how to clean and work on blasters, while still learning history from the monastery. He was also still active in his priesthood trainings. They would continue to teach him, in depth, about their religion and he would, in turn, help with any newcomers to the monastery. That wasn't often, but when it happened Chazz enjoyed the occasion. He even came across several holograms that the High Priest allowed him to keep. Detailing on a great many of things from teaching the construction of how the buildings were made all the way to dangerous criminals of the hologram's time pertaining to Tatooine. One of them even related to the religion of the Jedi and what they believed.
Working two jobs often took its toll on Chazz, spending the majority of the day doing the duties of both jobs left him little time to himself, but now that he 19 he spent what free time he had at cantinas. Talking to the beautiful women that danced there or just ordering drinks for the lovely ladies just passing through. Growing up how he did, in a nondiscriminatory family and monastery, he didn't just like human women. He actually flirted with any humanoid-type females. Human women, Zabraks, and Twi'lecks were his favorite though. He got into a few bar brawls, talking to already spoken for ladies. After a while he got pretty good at defending himself, he wasn't the little boy getting beat to death on the streets anymore.
Chazz soon got promoted to weapons salesman over at Lup's General Store, so his workload eased a great deal. Spending only an average of 2 to 3 hours at the monastery, and then 6 or so at Lup's left him a lot more time to spend on his own. He would generally spend more and more time sit outside at restaurants with friends, talking about business they had in far outer worlds, taking in what information they had. He also started tipping children to tell him if someone was at the monastery, it was a great luxury now that came with the pay raise at Lup's. He didn't have to spend all day waiting on someone to arrive and he also liked giving to the needy children to reminded him of himself. But still he occasionally found himself in a cantina about once or twice a week, flirting it up and fighting.
Selling rifles, guiding lost people to the faith of Ninn, evening dinners with his parents, and watching beautiful women was how Chazz spent his adult life. He was excelling at Lup's, he had even earned a modified blaster pistol from him when he sold nearly 14 crates of weaponry in a day to the Hutts. His life had sad points though, the current High Priest was killed along with 5 other monks when there ship crashed into Tatooine desert. The other half of the monks that remained were crushed by this, and Chazz attended the burial ceremony of the two monks' whose bodies were recovered. Two of his brothers were also killed when Sand People invaded his parents farm, and his mother gravely injured. This moment in his life was when he decided to take back up blaster training, his strings with Lup allowed him to require a few damaged-beyond-repair droids to use as target practice. Every evening after eating supper with his family he would go outside and shoot at the droids until it got dark and he would return to the monastery to sleep. He had gotten pretty good as years went by, being able to shoot the droids in the eye at over a 100 yards away with his pistol. He trained vigorously because he knew, living on the outskirts of the armpit of the galaxy his parents' farm would be a prime target for slavers, raiders, and other bandits and he wanted to be able to protect his family if he was there and another attack happened.
Chazz then turned 26, his life being about the same. No more attacks happened to his family or their farm. He couldn't advance anymore at Lup's, being salesman was as good as it got there. His life was starting to become mundane, except for the little dust storm here and the bar fight there. He was wondering if his life would ever have a new meaning. His answer came when the current High Priest stepped down and the residing monks made Chazz High Priest. This means that soon he would have to venture off into the galaxy and set up new churches on far off worlds, catalog information about species and factions, and learn the ways of native species. Finally, he found something to get him off of the world he cared for in order to expand his amount of knowledge. He didn't have a relationship with any woman, his priesthood forbid it. His good, boyish looks were just going to waste away with age. He had learned a great deal of information from working at Lup's and the monastery, along with his earlier schooling and his lectures and advice from his mother. He wanted more though, he wanted to learn more. Where he would find more knowledge was uncertain. He had exhausted all the information Mos Espa had given him, maybe when he had to leave on his first mission to setup another church he would find what he was looking for, maybe not. He had just days left before the star ship leaving for the temperate, outer rim world of Almar. Maybe there he would find what his mind had been searching for, maybe not. Only time would tell for Chazz Marsee.
RP Sample:
The sun, or rather suns, were blinding. The heat was extraordinary. Yet Chazz was use to this, being born and raised on the hot rock had given Chazz time to adjust to all these features of Tatooine. He was in his usual green robes, just coming back from the monastery, and was heading towards Lup's for his pay. He needed his last pay before he made arrangements to leave this world and head to the space dock to catch his ship to Almar. Little kids running up and down the street, begging for money and playing with one another, different people shouting about their various wares, and people arguing over debts were just some of the sounds Chazz heard while making his way over to Lup's General Store.
"Hey, Chazz! You comin' over here to finally show me a good time? What about it pretty boy?" Chazz looked over and saw one of the dancers over at the club next door to Lup's shouting at him. She was a gorgeous Twi'leck. 6' tall, amazing blue skin. But Chazz had to resist. He wasn't married so he could flirt all he wanted, but nothing more.
"I'm leaving today and I would hate for you to fall in love with me, sorry, have to do it another time." Chazz shouted back smiling at her as he walked through the store's entrance. People browsing through kiosks and other salesmen throwing their sale's pitch around to customers. Daily sightings for the store. He walked through the store, smiling and greeting people like he normally does, until he got to Lup's office. He knocked and heard a grunt on the other side, he took it as acceptance for walking in. He opened the door and closed it behind him.
"Ahhh, Chazz. You're not scheduled to work today. I figure this you're here for what we discussed a few days ago" Gau Lup greeted him, while he was flapping about above his desk. He was going through some previous marketing orders. More than like the fourth or fifth time know how Lup is. He always had to go over things at least 3 or 4 times. He was extremely tedious.
"High Priest does have its' duties, Gua. My shuttle is about to leave, so I sorta kinda really need my pay now, old friend." Chazz announced as he kept looking out the window at the space dock a views way away. The others were already waiting on him and he was a while behind schedule. "So if you could give me my payment now, I'll be out of your hair for good. Or, errr, sorry. I forgot you don't have hair." Chazz smirked as Lup grinned and threw him a small coin purse. He nodded toward the door and went back to his paperwork.
"Thanks, friend." Chazz mumbled as he hurriedly ran out of the store and toward the space dock. He wasn't going to miss his first assignment as High Priest.
