Bio: Ordik Sarrim was born on Ryloth to an unknown male Twi'Lek and female Twi'Lek. His parents were killed during a horrific crash on Corellia. The couple had to many drinks and crashed their speeder into a housing development killing them and ten others. Ordik was only four when he was orphaned, he went to live with his uncle on the planet of Selonia, where his uncle owned a cantina. When he was about six, a Jedi came into the cantina asking strange questions and before the young Twi'Lek could understand what was going on, he was being taken to Coruscant for Jedi training.
Once he got there, the Council initiated him and he was being taught in classes the next week. As an initiate, Ordik learned he had a natural knack for wielding a lightsaber. The Jedi Youngling usually was off by himself practicing with his training lightsaber. He made no friends and was quite a recluse. When he was not practicing his lightsaber combat, he was watching Holovids on Echani Martial Arts and Teras Kasi. The young Twi'Lek became quite the combatant. During class he would often be looked upon as cocky for he would practice flourishes and small tricks. When he was eleven, he became a Jedi Padawan to a Jedi Master name Karn Tin, a Human.
Karn was a Jedi Guardian and master of Makashi. The two Jedi would start off training with a fierce sparring session and end it with a meditation to calm the adrenaline. Karn and Ordik were quick friends and Ordik looked up to his master as a father figure. The young Twi'Lek would often try to surprise grapple his master before they began training, that is how he would get better at Teras Kasi and Echani. The two Jedi would spend spare time practicing Martial Arts together as time progressed, further strengthening their bond.
Near the end of Ordik's training, Karn took him on the mission that would be the last they saw of each other. The Padawan and his Master ventured to Iziz to attempt and settle a growing dispute between the Beast Riders and the people of Iziz. If they had not gotten there in time, it was believed that there would be yet another destructive civil war. The two stepped onto the planet just in time to catch the Iziz Royal Guard and the Beast Riders ensued in a ferocious battle. They decided to help the Royal Guard and went into battle.
The two Jedi fought ferociously as well, but then a Beast Rider stepped off his mount on a wall of the city and opened up his vest to reveal a bomb on his chest. The Jedi Master saw this and used Force Speed, he ran over and tackled the man off the wall as he pressed the button. The Jedi Master and the Beast Rider died in the explosion without harming any civilians. Ordik was stunned with grief and amazement that his master would be so heroic. After the battle, the conflict was ended and Ordik stayed a few weeks to help with the negotiations. In the battle he earned an honored status and was given Royal Guard Captain.
Ordik returned to the Jedi Council and reported what had happened in detail. After a few hours of waiting outside the council called him back in and decided it was time he was promoted to Jedi Knight for his quick thinking and actions observed as qualities of a good Jedi Knight. Ordik was congratulated and handed the robes of a Jedi Knight He went off to do more missions. Ordik has recently returned from humanitarian missions in the Outer Rim.

RP Sample: Karn and Ordik stepped out off the boarding ramp and touched the surface of Iziz, they both had felt a strong disturbance, ust then they heard screams and blaster fire. Then came beastial growls. The two Jedi rushed around the corner to see what was going on. The Royal Guard and the Beast Riders were already at war! Man and beast were dalling in battle alike. The two Jedi saw the complete disregard for the civilians made by the Beast Riders, while wehn the Royal Guard could they would cover civilian retreat, it was evident who to help.
Ordik ignited his green lightsaber and his master ignited the familiar violet lightsaber. The two rushed to battle, they began deflecting shots of fire back at the beast riders and kicking thm off their mounts. The defensive fighting was not helping, for the riders would jump back up on their highly trained mounts. Ordik and Karn went slightly offensive and began swiping at the legs of the Beast Riders' mounts. Ordik saw a few Royal Guards being overrun by a Beast Rider on a giant animal. The Padawan used Force Push and his usually calm state of mind allowed focus to come easy. The rider tumbled backwards off the mount and the beast continued to ravage. Ordik used a saber throw and got it on the neck, the beast howled and crumpled over smashing its former rider.
Ordik went over to an officer who was behind cover, he sprinted through the blaster fire. "Is there a hospital anywhere for the injured? I have medical experience," asked the young Twi'Lek. The officer replied that there was, but there werre few soldiers that got to it in time. The oficer indicated its direction. Ordik suddenly came up with an idea! He was going to try and collect as many injured people as he could and bring them to the field hospital. The Jedi found a man who had been injured by a large, tooth-filled beast, his arm was in shreds. Ordik hauled him on his back for the man could not stand from loss of blood. Ordik rushed him to the indicated building and laid him on the table for the doctor and droids to do their work.
The Padawan carried others over, but he recieved saw others in a mopre perilous distress. The selfless nature of the Jedi made him choose quickly, he rushed to go defend a group of Guard who had been completely outnumbered. The Jedi charged the four beast riders, he jumped up and stabbed the first and sliced the animal's side making it fall over. He jumped to the next and Force Pushed the rider off. The third drew a blaster and Ordik used a Saber Throw slicing his arm off and knocking him off. He jumped back after seeing the men being able to handle it themselves. As he went to carry another man to the makeshift field hospital, Ordik saw his master tackle a man that looked to have explosives tied to his chest off of the city wall. A large explosion was heard and then everything went quiet to Ordik. He opened his eyes to see a bright morning on Coruscant, he was covered in seat. The Jedi Knight got up and washed himself.
