Name: Regnier Vakkor
Race: Human (Onderonian ancestry)
Age: 33
Height: 6’10”
Weight: 305lbs
Appearance:
Regnier is, as you may have guessed, quite tall for a human, though he is by no means tall and thin; he was, in fact, once under consideration to become a Jedi brute, a guardian of the temple chosen at a young age for their considerable size, due to his frame and build, though he wasn’t chosen for the role. Indeed, he is in very good physical condition, and has quite a lot of muscle. He has very deep, hazel eyes that if one looks close enough into, they can see the scarred soul beneath, and reddish-brown hair that is usually very well kept and short. He has multiple bodily scars, ranging from minor training accidents, to cuts from vibroblades, to burns from blasters; of the more notable, there is a small scar just under his right eye, courtesy of a gaderffii spear-point, two from serious blaster wounds, one between the third and fourth ribs on the right side, the other on the left thigh, a scar on the upper portion of the right trapezius muscle (upper shoulder) from a slugthrower, and a scar that runs along the outer side of his left arm, starting at just between his lower two knuckles, stopping at the wrist, starting again just before the elbow, which it skips over, and starting again just above the elbow to the back of the shoulder from a vibroblade.
Birth place: Medical frigate Red Haven, Pyrshak system
Faction: Jedi Order
Rank: Knight/Lightsaber Instructor (Guardian)
Items:
1x Lightsaber – Single phase, sporting a pale gray, nearly off-white blade, and a fairly non-descript gray tube for a hilt that is longer than the average saber hilt, easily accommodating two hands. The lightsaber was constructed with both a Sigil and an Opila crystal, as well as a Pontite focusing lens, a Diatium energy cell, and an emitter designed specifically for fencing. It is apperant from its design that it was built very specifically to be more of a powerful weapon than tool.
1x Green cloak – Exactly what the name implies; a simple, dark green, full-body cloak that runs to the floor.
1x Medium-class durasteel combat plate - Consists of only simple plating on the back, chest, thighs, shins, and one on the left fore-arm, allowing maximum movement and good protection on armored portions, though it leaves much unarmored.
1x Black body-suit – Designed to do little more than protect the wearer’s modesty.
Skills:
Regnier possesses a moderate knowledge of all the seven forms of lightsaber combat, though he is an extremely skilled, actual practitioner of both form VII, Juyo, and both forms of form V, Djem So and Shien. However, he only uses these when he believes his preferred form can’t defeat his foe; this is the form of Trakata, where the user keeps their saber in their grasp, but turned off, dodging attacks instead and turning it on only when necessary and to attack. It is believed by many that if Regnier would devote time to learning the other forms, and if he would take on another Apprentice, or do a deed worthy of the honor, and ever become a Master, that it was very likely of his being named Battlemaster; his skill, while not great in all the forms, it is believed that it wouldn’t take long for him to become so, and that his skill in his preferred forms would be enough. As it is, it is still widely believed that if he were to take on another Apprentice, and if they were to be Knighted, that if he declined the position of Battlemaster, he would shortly be named a Weapon Master after being given the title of Master; many believe he would be one now if he simply held the title of Master instead of Knight.
Powers:
Like many Guardians, his focus is on the physical, not so much the mental.

It was a good dream, the dream he was in, and it felt as real as life as he spoke with the Twi’lek; the smell of Onderon’s jungle, and the smell of the Twi’lek, the sounds of the jungle, and her voice, the way the jungle’s growths felt as he ran them through his hands, even the words she spoke, and the way she acted, it was all so real. But it was indeed a dream, not real, for the Twi’lek that stood beside him as he walked through the jungle no longer lived; the milk-white Twi’lek was none other than Taryn Sekk, Jedi Master.
”I should not be here, Master, not now. The living have more need of me than the dead at this moment. This dream…it is naught but that.”
”You still have much to learn, booki. The Force holds many secrets. A dream this may be, but I am not a part of your mind. I regret, however, that this meeting couldn’t be on better terms…I do not bring good tidings. I have come to give you a warning, Regnier, because I have seen death in the time not far ahead of you, a death that will take from the Order, from you. I have seen pain, both for you and another, but I cannot tell if it is your death, or the other’s.”
”The future is always changing, even the wisest and most powerful cannot be certain of it, and even they can misread it. You have said this yourself. I will do everything in my power to keep my Padawan and my sister alive, and I will hard. You know this as well as I. But, if one of us must die this day, then that is what must be; you know what I will do for them.”
The Twi’lek stopped cold and lay a hand that looked almost like a child’s against the massive frame it was pressed against. ”I know, booki, but I do not fear for you. I know that if you die, it will be to save another.” She paused and looked away briefly. ”But you have spent enough time here. You are needed elsewhere. Wake up, you lazy lump!”
With that, she cuffed him over the side of his head, and the jungle disappeared, to be replaced by blackness. Blackness was replaced with bright light as his eyes crept open. He straightened his neck and opened his eyes groggily, blinking a few times to clear the haze that clouded his vision. It cleared presently, and he was greeted with the sight of a familiar face restrained to the wall across from him, grinning in amusement. ”Welcome back to reality, better known as somewhere in the Dune Sea. Did you plan on sleeping this entire situation through, brother?”
”Had I known I’d be waking up to this, yes. At least my conversation there didn’t involve this ache. Tell me what I need to know.”
