Name: Jay Katarr
Race: Human
Age: 16
Height: 5'9
Weight: 125
Appearance:
Adorning a black cloak fastened by a vibrant red vest garnished in tribal details, the young man is fit while maintaining a slender frame. His eyes are a piercing green hue and the pigmentation of his skin compliments with a pale, almost sickly coloration. A scar extends across his face from the his hairline and across his face down to his jaw line going just through his eye, though his eye remains undamamged.
His hair is of long and thick, somewhat untamed but naturally fashionable as it extends to his upper-back and hangs over his shoulder beneath the refuge of his encumbering cloak. Underneath the cloak and other clothing his frame is slender but fit, outfitted with numerous scars which signify the brutal training he underwent with his father along with the numerous missions he endeavored to complete while working alongside his father on Aeton.
Personality: A pessimist through experience and by nature, Jay would have never fit in with the Jedi as his perception of the galaxy is dim and cold. Conservative in what he says, Jay contains his views to his thoughts for the most part and rarely speaks unless directly spoken to. Consequently, while curious, he isn't one to jump out of the group and ask questions which prompts most to think he is uncaring or indifferent towards what they are teaching him. He has experienced a fair amount of pain and suffering throughout his life, which prompted him to seek training in the force, as while he sees no future in the galaxy--he wishes to taste the ultimate power that he has seen others grasp within their hands in the Sith Order. He percieves the Jedi Order as a second-hand group in comparison to the Sith, composed of those who could not live up to the expectations of one who wields the force and instead have resorted to becoming subbordinates to the force.

Bio:
Jay Katarr was born as the son of a defected Jedi, an unaffiliated darksider, on the planet of Aeton. His father, working as an assassin or bounty hunter for the local crime lords on the planet, moved the family in the midst of the chaos of the crime-ridden streets. Jay as a child was not allowed very often out into the streets and so he came to assimilate into a life of isolation and tranquility. His father had him focus in developing force-sensitive abilities and harnessing an affinity with the force with the intentions of having him join his father one day, and while his mother disagreed and wanted him to become something more respectable, she had no say in it whatsoever. While Jay was aware his father once was a jedi, he had never asked nor had his father volunteered to say why he was no longer with them, all he knew is that his father had a certain disdain for them.
He learned and studied under his father, starting at the age of 5, all the way until he was 15--rarely going outside the walls of his home. While he had assimilated and provoked no thoughts from him, one would percieve his relationship with his father as one that would be seen between a Sith Master and his underling. There was no warmth or love that was audibly shown or even though gestures rather his father was cold and hard on him--always seeing each moment they were together as a chance to teach him about the force and the darkside. It was often that his father was even physically abusive or even sadistic towards Jay. Jay came to enjoy it to a degree as that was all that he ever knew. He breathed training and studying the force, he never knew the joys of childhood and the maturity of work ethic was bred into him from a young age. To say the least, Jay was never allowed to be just a boy, and his father saw that it was justified both in Jay's heart and mind--putting a heavy focus on saber-to-saber combat.
Despite his lack of experience with others, he had honed his abilities with a saber as well as manipulating the force to the degree that he would be quite capable in a combat-type situation with an acolyte or padawan from the respective orders. At 15, his father allowed him to begin undertaking small missions that were assigned originally to Jay's father in order to expand his abilities further via real situations. At first he failed many, though he assimilated into the pressure of reality versuses training and began to become quite successful. His mother did not like him going out with his father, but he grew up knowing his mother did not have much power in the house hold and it was the man who made the decisions--therefore he did not respect much of what his mother said in regard to his lifestyle.
On one particular mission, the details not known to Jay, his father did not return and he was presumed dead by his mother, though Jay endeavored to know for sure what happened to him. He eventually came to find out that he was slain by a jedi, a lightsider, which before then he was unbiased towards the Jedi Order as he had never came into contact with them. He never found the Jedi or even any information on him, he only knew that his training was not finished and he would have to continue it elsewhere in order to find the killer and properly avenge his late father. He then ventured from the planet of Aeton, not worrying about his mother's welfare due to a mixture of selfishness and the fact that his father had accumulated enough credits over the years that she could live comfortably for the remainder of her life, to find another teacher.
Naturally, having considered his father was killed by a jedi and he seeked revenge for it, he sought to find and be trained within the Sith Order. After all, even his most basic ideals and the way he was trained and raised, he would never be able to assimlate into the Jedi Order as he was much more intuned with the dark side of the force versuses the light. With that, his mother allowed him to gather some of his father's supplies which included an additional lightsaber his father had acquired over the years which he had planned on giving his son at the end of Jay's training (At the time allowing him to train with it) and left Aeton with little to no intentions of returning for a long time in search of a stronger affinity to the darkside of the force.
RP Sample:
He looked over the city, clustered with buildings and congested with traffic and people. He could see sleepers and hustlers standing amongst the groups, though he was atop one of the buildings on a balcony high above it all. He peered onto them with disdain, his nose scrunched up with visible disguist. This was his home world, but there was nothing beautiful or warming about it. "I'm ready to leave," he spoke aloud, his mother behind him just within the house, he could feel her eyes on him--an ambience of dissapointment almost tangible. Perhaps she had hoped he would get out of the business once his father died, if so she was mistaken. "You know why I have to leave. I cannot let my father's death go unavenged..." His voice was emmitting an anger which did not surface often.
"You--" She began to speak, but was quickly interrupted. "Enough." He spoke with a sharp tongue and his mother fell silent. It was a man's decision. He turned and came into the enclosure of the room--the automated door closing in behind him dilluting the sounds of the city behind him. His things were packed already and he picked them up and left. He did not say goodbye, and while he intended not to he felt regret from it as he walked away. Perhaps he would return soon and make ammends, though in a life which he sought to live, tomorrow wasn't garunteed.
