Gris is the son of a republic fighter pilot, and a force-sensitive slicer and smuggler. Before he turned eight years old, his mother had taught him how to hack into varied systems, and he even once or twice played jokes on his father because of this, to the amusement of his mother.
He was found by a jedi on Corellia, and it had taken some thought for the mother to leave her child, though in the end both men had finally made the woman leave the child. It was the best decission according to his father, who would in the end be following orders from his own son -They were both not even twenty-five-.
Gris trained in the way of thinking and acting of the jedi since he was ten years old, and is as of yet waiting to be taken as a padawan by any of the jedi who would want to train him.
