Bio: Roth’s father was a Jedi Knight and his mother a smuggler and although they were never married they loved one another very much. His early life was a happy one as he traveled with his mother and was occasionally visited by his father who took the extra time to train him in the ways of the Force. However when he was 8 years old his father was sent to break a Pirate gang. On an important reconnaissance mission Roth’s father was to infiltrate an alleged base on Duros, posing as a couple and their son. However, it was a trap and Roth’s father was killed trying to defend his love and his son. During the escape Roth’s mother was killed trying to protect him.
He was left alone on the planet Duros but managed to stowaway aboard a freighter headed for Corellia, his homeworld. There he did his best to survive by himself. He was discovered by a Jedi Master who had been there to eliminate a pirate group that had been plaguing Corellia’s shipping. The master took Roth along with him and trained him in the way of the Force after being given the approval of the council. Roth was very strong and the first and learned his lessons quickly, however it also lead to his being somewhat impatient as he grew in power, a tendency which he still fights today.
After years of training with his master whom he had come to consider as being the closest thing he had to a father, the two were assigned to a mission on Myrkr, which at the time was unknown to have animals with the ability to push back the Force. They were attacked by a gang of slavers, who mistakenly believed that the two were after them. Without the ability to touch the Force, Roth and his master were no much for the gang, and Roth’s master was fatally wounded. Despite his inability to call on the Force, Roth with some creative thinking managed to hold off the gang long enough for him to carry his master to their ship to escape. With his dying breath his Master appointed him as a Jedi Knight before fading and becoming one with the Force.
