Bio: The Kel Dor were a tall, muscular race, typically of the same height and weight as Humans. Their skin ranged in color from peach to a crimson red. Most had dark, black eyes, although some were born with silver irises, a mark that was often seen as an affinity for the Force.
Due to Dorin having a unique atmosphere composed of helium and a gas unique to their world, the Kel Dor had to wear an antiox breath mask and protective goggles whenever in atmospheres of a different composition. This equipment protected them from carbon dioxide, nitrogen, and oxygen, which were fatal to a Kel Dor. The breath mask also helped to amplify the Kel Dor's voice, as they must shout to produce any sound when out of their native atmosphere. Without their protective goggles, Kel Dor were considered effectively blind when away from Dorin.
The Kel Dor also had heightened reflexes, a result of extra-sensory organs in their heads. As a species, they were thought to be typically quick and wise, but of a weaker constitution, when compared to other species.
Race Bio from Wookiepiedia
Taren was removed from his home at the young age of three. When the Baran Do Sages came to his parents to train him in their arts, his parents refused. They were saving him for the Jedi who regularly came to take any willing Force Adepts. They realized Taren was strong in the Force as he was already moving furniture in play and felt a life of meteorology was too small for their boy.
The day soon came and Taren was chosen to leave the planet to study with the Jedi, a day his parents long yearned for. Though they lost their son they were proud of the work that yet lay before their child. Later in his life, Taren realized his parent's sacrifice and vowed to make them proud. He knew that they had taken the harder path for him to have a better life and he loved them dearly for it. Taren cannot remember their faces but he will never forget the connection of Love that buth seperated them and drew them close.
And so Taren made the journey and over the years learned to tame the raw talent his parents had noted. His skills in weaponless combat, telekinesis, and duel-style lightsaber art pushed him to the top of his class in combat training, but it was wisdom and mental finesse that he lacked. He felt the Jedi were Guardians and not Senators and slacked when it came to his book studies.
Taren's true passion when it came to manifestations of the Force was fire. He experienced a connection with flames and adapted his skills in telekinesis to manipulate fire. It was said that he could take and remove a flame from the tip of a candle stick and nurture it to a blaze that he could then manipulate freely. But this took great concentration and it was a skill that Taren used to practice his control over the Force. Over his ten years of Jedi training, he grew close to a tight click of students. Because of his awakward appearance many of the young were reluctant to bond with him, so he was grateful for the friends he did make.
The life of the Jedi seemed to come easy to the young student but it was a matter of choice that he neglected studial teachings. He grew best in his Jedi knowlege when training, the philosophys of the Jedi seemed to weave effortlessly into the young Dor's life. He eagerly accepted knowledge when it came through expierance and longed for compnaionship with his peers. Though this campionship was never truely met with the friends he did make, he submited himself to the council hopeing they would pair him with a Master.
Now he is waiting for a Jedi Master to further his training though secretly in his heart he longs for a Master that can tap into his personal strengths and train him to be a great Jedi hero.
Lightsaber: Double. His duel crystal blue blades were each slightly shorter than a single standard blade reaching to 2.5 feet. Though when used in a single style, Taren could use the Force to adjust the blase to the standard 3 feet.
