Bio: Born the eldest child of the Valmor-Quiler clan Iriel was named after her great grandmother first of the Valmor-Quilers. Seemingly born to a privileged life death would come to dominate her young life. Originally a twin, her sister died before she was even born and not three years later a younger brother died shortly after birth. Her parents would try one more time having a young sickly child whom died at only four years of age. A third child gone her mother could simply take no more and ended her life, Iriel at this point only eight and a half was the first to find her mother hanging from the rafters a sight which even to this day despite years of counseling still shocks her awake from her dreams in terror. After this her father began drawing further and further leaving the girl more and more in the care of the EVE bot Willow eventually he stopped tending to his daughter at all and eventually himself died of a stimulant over dose several years after the death. This is how at the tender age fourteen a lonely girl found herself the defacto ruler of a planet and controller of the largest private fleet in the known galaxy. At that time the atmosphere of the ESS was toxic as admirals and others fought for dominance of the company and attempted to use Iriel as their pawn. Thankfully Iriel was a stubborn and independent girl and with the help of those that sill respected the Valmor-Quiler name managed to keep her still yet tenuous hold of the ESS.
It would be two events that would finally cement her position first was officially a attempted military coup against the ESS control of the Edessa Systems committed by a ESS admiral and two deputy admirals. Through out the ESS "civil war" Iriel managed to hold together a tattered coalition of admirals while as the same time managing to keep more ESS units from joining the rebels as it were. It was during this time she met Jahai Draken the woman who would become her only flesh and blood freind. They met when Draken then the captain of the Covenant was a member of Iriel's honor guard when the meeting turned into a trap captain Draken placed the Covenant directly between irel's light ship and almost a dozen cruisers nearly destroying the Covenant and doubtlessly saving Iriel's life. It took nearly six years, she and those loyal to her managed to suppress the rebels. At twenty-three Iriel found herself in what she considered the rather more difficult task of rebuilding ESS's reputation and fleets. Over the next two years she oversaw the ESS's merger with three other corporations before tension once more raised it's head this time in the form of politics. The Galactic Republic began demanding vehemently the the ESS drastically cut it's assets by nearly 85% with astute business deals and more than a few under handed bribes and a little black mailing Iriel managed to push the issue off the record for another day. In the next two years ESS stock began to drop and more and more she found her self coming under fire from the other minority as their investment began mounting under primarily under increasing losses. With the Tension between the Empire and republic became more and more dangerous with privateers conscripted by both parties preying on shipping between.
Near this time Iriel personally ordered Jahai Draken to be added to the board of admirals despite many of the share holders and the entire board's disapproval. Slowly things began to slow down and despite the boards unhappiness iriel was more than happy from the respite and took her first real vacation in almost thirteen years. The breather wouldn't last, with the attack of the Sith Empire on Dantooine it became clear to virtually everyone that war was coming and ESS contracts sky rocketed as Independent worlds and even those in the empire and republic clamored for ESS ships, men, and materials to help bolster their defenses.
