Well the time is coming, my char's i've been working on are nearing compleation and it around this time that useually start thinking about my next characters. This is not to say I'm going to put the winner up right now or that he is a complete char ready to put up, i just want to knwo which to go next. But a wanted to get a little feeback and see which of my ideas is the most liked out there. So this thread is to get that very feedback  I have the ideas that i've been working on the longest set but I do not feel like putting them all out here at once, so the one that gets the most feedback is the one i will create next. So Swrup it's now up to YOU. |

NONE OF THE ABOVE! I'd suggest turning the Republic military characters into a Sith military one. You actually wouldn't have to make them all backstabby and evil, in fact, you could just keep them as they are with a "My Country Right or Wrong" trope frame of mind. A misconception is always that Sith military folks HAVE TO be all conniving and vicious, but they're military--all they really need to believe in is their country/empire/government/citizens/whatever. But, the reason why I suggest Sith military is because we typically always get one of two things for military chars, which is they are not Mando Spec Ops, then they are Republic military, while Sith military continuously remains fairly sparse. Can always use more Sith military characters.

I agree with Apillis. Look at the Nazis of WWII. Not all of them were SS, many were guys that were fighting for a homeland they thought had been trampled on unfairly at the end of WWI and yet they were still bad guys. They were willing to ignore to great extent the atrocities going on at home and instead focused just on how they wanted to protect their people. Many of the Sith controlled worlds turned to them because they felt it would make them more powerful and secure. For some poor jaded military person on one of those worlds, propaganda could easily convince them that the Republic and the Jedi were elitists who wanted to see the Sith empire fall so they could keep their high status. |

I think it should be said, at least in our world, people don't generally do things because they want to be evil and sadistic. Rather, they tend to do things believing they are wholly justified and righteous.
