Ara’s boots hardly made a sound as she left the temple. She felt that her jedi robe, while worn by the journey of past months still made a viable choice as far as travelling clothes went. She went to the docks where she had stored her ship days ago and hoped that no one had dared touching it. It was her ship. Well, it was a jedi ship of course but she had rightfully stolen it away from them and viewed it as her own.
When she reached the dock she had stalled it she gladly noticed that it was in the same state as she had left it. She walked into the ship and ignored the beacon that she had smashed a few weeks earlier before leaving the place of her last mission. For a moment she wondered if people were looking for her and if so, whom? She didn’t have friends among the jedi, nor any other race for that matter. They had probably given up on the search shortly after they started it. The massacre she had caused left little to imagination and her body wasn’t among the fallen.
She sat down in her pilot seat and relaxed a little. Her last weeks had been tedious. First that damned Aurellius had made her do lame exercises and pointless lessons that she had already learned when she was around the age of ten just to annoy her. But he had been a good pet and went along with the flow. Her time would come and she was pretty sure she could muster up more patience then he would.
She punched in some random coordinates on her computer and left the temple behind with a swoosh. When she was out of the planets gravity field she calculated a hyperspace jump to Ziost. She had heard that there were old temples there and it would be interesting to see them and breathe in the air the force left behind full of dark side power. She didn’t have hopes on finding everything, she was pretty sure that everything had been stripped clean when the order took the planet.
Stars became lines as she passed into hyperspace and she wandered around in her ship. It would take some time before she reached her destination, so after a short workout session that mainly consisted of pushups she went to sleep for a few hours. Well, sleep wasn’t the right word. Meditating was more close. She pondered what her next move should be in the temple and in the galaxy as a whole.
After hours of meditation she felt like she had slept for several hours like only force users could know. Her brain relaxed but her body still the same. It was an odd state to be in. She leisurely walked back to her pilot seat and smiled as she had only a minute left before coming out of hyperspace. She leaned back and waited.
After a short time she pulled the handle and starlines morphed back to being just stars. In front of her, only about 500 kilometers away she saw Ziost.
Ziost was covered with forest and her scanners picked up only that and a few stone buildings. Hardly any settlements were on the planet and she didn’t fancy seeking out a lot of people. Her scanner spotted activity around a structure but she also let that opportunity slide.
At long last her scanner picked up something interesting, a structure that looked abandoned but had one ship next to it. She let her navicomp search for a suitable landing spot and soon after started her descend to the planet surface.
Little time later she landed on one of the roofs of the abandoned structure, she could now see that this had once been a temple, well-crafted and big enough for her ship to land on. The temple had a few roofs this big but she wondered if the roofs were actually built as landing pads or if this was just one big happy coincidence.
She left her ship and slowly started her walk to the other ship. No doubt that with this much force energy on the planet there were animals that could hide themselves and she wasn’t about to be surprised by the first big feline with claws. Cautious she walked towards the other ship. It was only about a ten minute walk but she went slow.

As the moist air filled her lungs and the humidity created a layer of liquid along the Aviana’s Talon’s hull, Avegira sat on the top of the ship, meditating. Having come to Ziost as part of a contract, she was contacted shortly after arriving by the person who had set it up and was told that the contract was over. Having been here for a couple of days, she decided to do a little exploring. This particular day was like every other, nothing found except for a few old scrolls, which she had carefully gathered and stored.
Having been meditating for a few hours, she didn’t mind the dampness of her clothing, as she had become accustomed to preparing for such climates. As she sat there, she felt the vibration of the section of the ship as a large creature jumped from the nearby trees. Acting quickly, she jumped up and turned towards the creature, see that it was a large feline-like creature. Knowing by the size and the possible speed of it, she couldn’t outrun or outfight it. Using the Force to connect to its mind, she began to lock up the feral urges as quickly as possible. Just as the creature lunged at her she was able to lock the last bit, jumping backwards a second before the creature landed. Slowly walking up to it, she gently stroked her hand through its mane, receiving a slight purr from it.
Turning around and walking towards the ledge of the ship, she jumped down and landed on the ground in a crouch. Getting up, she called to the creature, “come on down, I could use your help.” Taking a step back, she watched as the creature jumped and landed, creating a small cloud of dust around it. Beginning to walk towards an opening in the nearby temple. Having only kept her short vibroblade on her when she departed the ship, Avegira teamed her fighting with the feline, defending herself and the creature from the local wildlife that had made its home with in the temple. Finally coming upon a large chamber, she began to search for anything that seemed important, only finding more scrolls. After several minutes of searching and almost ready to call it, she found a nearly hidden compartment. Taking a minute to see if there were any traps, she found none and began to open it. As she removed the heavy covering, she found more scrolls. Spending a few minutes to look through them, she found herself amazed as she set down each one.
Many of them were ancient steps of rituals, designs of architecture, plans of weapons and armor, technology designs and many others. Gathering them up and placing them in the robe she was wearing, she began to make her way back out. With the feline creature with her, she had no problem making it out of the chamber and almost all the way down the passageways. Finding it almost impossible to pinpoint anything through the Force, she thought of how high the amount of Dark Side energy was coursing through Ziost.

About eight lucky minutes on her way she encountered a threat. The only warning was a slight growl as the creature flung itself at her. Battle instincts kicked in and she ducked out of the way. Her lightsaber was in her hands blindingly fast and she hardly noted herself activating it. It was a second nature for her.
The opponent she faced looked like a dog, or a small wolf but just bizarre. Its canines dripped with green slime that Ara planned never to get near her. It was covered with green fur as if it was bred to be in the treetops, hiding, waiting for his time to strike down on his prey. Ara however, was no prey.
After a moment of consideration the creature lunged itself at her again, his maw aimed at her throat. This was his last hunt because before he ever got to sink his teeth in her flesh Ara’s lightsaber had already impaled him. With a nearly careless flick of her wrist she completely severed his head and with a thud it fell to the ground. When the slime leaked onto the green soil covering the planet surface it scorched it away and left only a bit of black dirt behind. Ara was happy with her decision never to let it touch her.
Now she knew that she had been lucky, she had never even felt the beast. She had been careful and even in her state of awareness she had missed the presence of the beast. She continued walking carefully but made sure to leak enough force into the air to hopefully make at least the force sensitive creatures wary of her.
At long last she came to the ship and looked at it. She didn’t have much understanding of vehicles so she did the only thing she could do. She walked to the back and felt if the engine was still hot. It was not, this meant that the ship had been here for a while. She looked around and saw an entrance into the temple nearby.
’’what the hell, I’m here anyway’’
She entered the temple and listened carefully as she walked through the ancient passage ways. After just a few minutes of walking she could hear footsteps. It was dark in the hallway but there was more than enough vision to see and she didn’t plan on hiding anyway. She just stood there and waited for half a minute and saw two creatures. One cat like animal that looked really feral and a sentient bird like being that walked on two feet and was clothed.
’’I am curious, is there anything back there worth stealing?’’
She said that out loud and tried to put some strictness in her voice like she was used to coming here.

when the voice reached her, Avegira looked at the female that stood in the passageway. placing a hand on the head of the feline, she calmed it down. taking a few steps forward to see the female better, she stood still a few seconds before speaking. "not anymore. i was only able to find a compartment full of scrolls, but nothing else." looking over the female with what little light there was, she took note of the robe she wore, one very similar to the ones the Jedi wore. though she was wearing that robe, Avegira could feel the energy that she was leaking.
"if you want to see what i found, then your welcome to join me on my ship," she said, lifting her arm up slightly and flick one of her taloned fingers. waiting for the feline to walk past her and the female, she began to walk. walking past the female, she made her way out of the temple and reached into her clothing. pulling out a small device, she entered in a code and the ramp to the ship opened up. as she walked up the ramp, she stopped midway, and turned towards the creature. "go on, into the forest with you," she said, motioning it towards the tree line. as it took off running, she made sure to wait until it was far enough away before releasing her control.
turning around and walking the rest of the way up the ramp, she was met with the cooler air of the ship, several degrees cooler then outside. walking over to a nearby chair, she set down her robe and began to remove the scrolls from within it. after removing the last scroll, she walked over to a control panel and entered in a sequence of numbers, then a panel opened up in the wall. within the compartment was a small stash of books and scrolls she had recovered. taking the scrolls in the compartment, she began to place them carefully within containers.

When Ara went to Ziost her only goal was to feel the darkside running through her and giving her the feeling of power that a force user could get by going to a place that is fuelled by the force. This however, beat her expectations. She wouldn’t have thought that they would even find anything. He presumed that it had more to do with luck than anything else, but still, a lucky break is also a break.
She followed the bird like woman to the ship she had seen outside and watched her send away her cat. It was interesting, she hadn’t seen many people that had this much control over animals in her life, and she had been around a while. However, she didn’t feel much threat coming from the woman.
Maybe it was her own paranoid mind, but this woman was very trusting if she invited a stranger on her ship. She could obviously feel what Ara was and would know that she took a risk by inviting her in her ship.
Ara climbed into the ship and felt the heat fall from her body to be replaced by some artificial cooling. She preferred the coolness of the ship above the humid heat of the planet. Turning around she averted her attention towards the scrolls that the bird like creature was about to stash away in her ship. Araati felt jealousy flashing up inside her as she wanted the power that these scrolls might contain.
Slowly she walked up next to her new ‘’companion’’ and casually took one of the scrolls out of the container. She made it a point not to look at the woman as she opened the scroll and took a look inside. It were drawings next to some ancient text.
’’Instructions on how to build a lightsaber, useless crap. I have known this since I was twelve.’’
Well, at least she could resume talking now, nothing interesting found.

watching the female begin to look at one of the scrolls, Avegira continued to place the scrolls in containers. when she had carefully placed the third one into a container and closed it, she heard the female say the instructions were useless crap. turning towards the female and lightly taking the scroll from her, she laid it on a nearby table, saying, "its only crap to the ignorant, no offense." flicking on a small light, she began to point at small writing that one would think as just scribbles. "these are details on improving the construction to allow the insertion of a fourth crystal. most lightsabers are made to house three, but with these directions, a fourth can be added, without much alteration to the whole design," she said, turning and walking back over to the compartment.
during the next several minutes, Avegira resumed placing the scrolls within the containers. ever few scrolls, she would take a look at what it could contained, but not spending much time looking at them. thinking of the work she would have to do in copying the knowledge to be able to sell it. finally placing the final scroll in a container, she straightened her back and bent it, hearing the sound of a few pops. with a push of a key on a console inside the compartment, the containers closed, protecting the items within. leaving the compartment, she didn't close it, in case the female wanted to look at any.
grabbing her robe, Avegira walked down a hall and entered her sleeping quarters, tossing the robe onto a bench. getting her relaxation clothes, she began to take off her sweaty garments and tossed them with her robe. putting on the clothes, she went into the refresher and got some water from the sink, splashing her face with it. taking a clothe and wiping the water away, she made her way back to the female, making sure to put her short vibroblade in the weapons compartment. rounding the corner to the area the female was, she spoke, "find anything interesting?"

The bird like woman took the scroll from her and read it through, correcting her afterwards. Ara rolled with her eyes a little before reacting. ‘’ A fourth crystal that will make my lightsaber cut through more than everything in the galaxy?’’ It was cool you could have your saber have an afterglow of purple but Ara preferred to cut her enemies with the color of blood since the lightsaber didn’t give you the satisfaction of actually seeing any.
The woman left the compartment and walked away. Ara raised her eyebrow after she left. The woman had no trust issues at all, that much was clear. Shrugging, Ara grabbed one of the other scrolls and looked through them. She could safely say nothing interesting was to be found on the ones the woman had looked at, nothing had indicated the woman got excited. Ara was however, interested in who this woman was.
While looking through some particularly boring scroll that was about training younglings to bolster the force and let it escape through their feet as if it were electricity without voltage she heard the woman coming back. She looked refreshed and she had a change of clothes. That was an advantage of going back to your ship. Ara was fairly certain that this woman would absolutely never see her ship on the inside. Ara did have some trust issues.
’’I don’t know how far along you are in your force training, but if you want to levitate small objects this is the scroll for you!’’
She said it like she was trying to sell something in a store to a costumer who didn’t really know if she would buy anything that day and smiled along with it, indicating it was a joke. No need to be hostile, this may be a potential ally.
’’This might be a rude question coming from a stranger, but who the hell are you?’’
She winked as she asked the question.

taking a seat on the chair she had set her robe on, Avegira looked towards the female. "so, you know i'm a Force-user? well, not surprising for one that is from the Sith," she spoke, not even showing any signs of worry, or anything. leaning back in the chair, she rubbed her rubbed her forehead when the female asked who she was. straightening herself on the chair, she ran her taloned fingers through the feathers that grew from her arms. "my name is Avegira, and your question is actually nicer then most Sith i have met, and some Jedi," she replied, plucking a feather that had been extremely damaged.
as she sat back in her chair, one of the monitors on the computer bank along the wall began to flash. quickly getting up and moving to the monitor, she flipped a switch and words flashed across the screen. letting out a sigh, she transferred the files to the main computer in the cockpit. walking back to her chair, she sat down and slumped a little, rubbing her forehead in a circular motion. "damn Republic Intelligence, they keep sending me requests to join them. i won't give up my neutrality, no matter the amount of payment i receive," Avegira said, using the Force to bring a datapad towards her. flipping through the small amount of pictures, she came to the one of her masters. taking a minute, she put the datapad on the table and leaned her head back, letting her feathers that grown from her head flow down to the ground. closing her eyes, she thought back to when her masters were alive.
after a minute or so, Avegira opened her eyes and looked at the female. "may i ask your name, since i have given you mine?" she asked, the feathers clearly shifting to a greenish color. straightening herself, she waited to see if the female would reply.

Ara sat down in a chair too while the bird lady was talking. She acted surprised that Ara knew she was a force user. Ara’s eyebrows made a little jump. ’’You controlled a jungle cat’’. Ara was not surprised that the bird women knew that she was a sith. That kind of info probably leaked out of her in a distinctive force taste. She could surpress it a little but had never taken up the study of how to conceal it completely. She never needed it and judging by the flow of this conversation, she wouldn’t need it today either.
The woman introduced herself as Avegira. It had something avian to it. Ara liked the name and thought it was fitting. Also, if she ever decided to become a sith, she wouldn’t have to take long on deciding a name. Ara smiled a little at that thought. Also she neglected to comment on that last statement. She hadn’t decided her attitude yet and was eager to find out more about this person before deciding how to act. She seemed to have no qualms about coming to a sith world and yet she wasn’t a sith although she had command over the force. It was rather interesting.
Ara’s attention got also drawn to the flashing computer screen, Avegira got up and walked to the monitor to see what it was. Ara honestly thought that she wouldn’t further mention it but she was wrong. After apparently transferring the data she sat down again and used the force to summon a datapad to her. Ara could feel the force grabbing it and directing itself to the woman. While she did this she told her that she wouldn’t give up her neutrality despite what republic intelligence might have to say. This was interesting. Ara could deduce from that the fact that she had at least worked for the republic but still saw herself as neutral, meaning that she had to have taken jobs from other factions too.
The woman seemed clearly troubled as she played with the datapad some more before putting it back on the table. Then she proceeded with closing her eyes and thinking for a while. When she opened her eyes she asked Ara’s name and Ara couldn’t help but smile.
’’Well, Your republic friends might still know me as Master Irawagbon. But I guess you could call me Ara. I am curious though, what talent could you possibly have that the republic is interested in you while you have been doing jobs for us?’’

"well Ara, it nice to meet you. and to answer your question, its complicated," Avegira said, standing up. walking over to a monitor near the one that was flashing, she motioned Ara to come. "to some, this ship would be a relic now, but to force-users, its a masterpiece. from the years of studying it, this ship has the equipment to spy on an entire planet, and not be detected doing it. trust me, i've done it a few times, for both the Republic and the Sith. but because of some modifications i have done, i have been able to keep the Sith away from taking it, since it originally was build by older Sith," she spoke, typing on the computer as files began to flash across the screen.
letting a minute go by, she spoke again, "another reason they want me to join them is because of my neutrality. i can use the Force, and i have no qualms of doing things the Jedi won't, and i'm not hostile to the Republic. plus, i can get close to the Sith, so getting intel wouldn't be hard." when the files on the monitor began to slow in their flashing, another monitor next to it flashed on, datachips plugged into the slots of this monitor. using one hand to type on it, she was able to slowly type the sequences of code she needed to input. after a minute, the datachips popped out slightly, and she retrieved them from the slots. turning to Ara, she handed the chips to her, saying, "over the years, i have been able to gather quite the collection of data. this is what i have been able to record from other Dark Side worlds, so when you leave, you can take them to the Sith."
turning around and walking towards a large wall with a stone-looking door, she pulled down a panel that concealed a control pad. entering a sequence of keys, she watched as the door slid away to reveal the meditation chamber. as the humid air of the chamber began to leak out, Avegira turn to Ara and spoke with a smile on her face, "the ture reason i won't join the Republic, or the Sith, is because my true allegiance belongs to the Mando'ade." turning back to the chamber, she walked into the humid chamber, going to opposite wall and grabbing three of the many lightsabers that hung on the wall. sitting in the center, she laid the lightsabers down and crossed her legs. turning her head, she called out, "if you want to, you can join me." facing forward, she put her hands together and closed her eyes, concentrating. as she reached out with the Force, she used the lightsabers as focal points, as not to disturb anything else.

Ara put her feet on the table and sighed. She was starting to get comfortable on this ship. She didn’t feel threatened and this woman was actually sharing her intelligence. It seemed like a stupid thing to do. Why would one share power? She had asked herself this question a few times already in the past hour. She shook her head in disbelief again and smiled. Sometimes it was better to be surprised than to be annoyed. Wonder about people, don’t let them piss you off.
The bird told a story about her alliance and Ara raised her eyebrows. She told her that she was really affiliated with the Mando’s. Ara knew that Mando’s were being used as cannon fodder in the Sith wars. She wasn’t surprised, this far she had not been impressed by the woman.
’’So we are allies then!’’
She looked up at the woman with the most dazzling smile that she could muster. It almost pained her since she had not smiled like that in years.
The woman walked into a separate room and displayed her lightsabers and sat down. The humidity of the room hit ara in the face and washed her smile right off. She had gone inside this ship to escape that kind of weather conditions.
The bird woman sat down and invited her to meditate. Ara didn’t feel like joining minds with this woman at all, besides, meditating was a faulty exercise for a sith apart from getting rested up by doing it.
’’There is no chance in hell I’ll meditate with you’’
She shook her head.

"suit yourself," Avegira said, turning her full attention to her meditating. allowing the Force to flow through her, she could feel the eddies that the creatures outside made. as she concentrated, the three lightsabers in front of her started to lift off the ground. as they reached about the height of her head, they bobbed a little in the air as they stopped lifting. though some would find the humid air to be a bit extreme, she found it was a great way to help her focus.
as she concentrated on the Force, she soon felt the two sides of the Force swirl around her. as the Dark side swirled around her, the Light side seemed to swirl around her in unison with its darker sibling. as she focused, it was like watching a dance of battle. the light and dark seemed to move in sync, with every contact they made seemed to look like a blade strike. after fifteen minutes of focusing on the Force, she was able to calm and even out the two side within herself. as the lightsabers began to drop to the floor, they made a small sound as they landed. opening her eyes, Avegira picked up the lightsabers and stood up. placing the blades back where she had gotten them, she then turned to exit.
exiting the chamber, she pressed a button on the control pad and the stone-like door closed. as the humid air was taken over by the cooler air, Avergira let out a sigh. walking over to a sink, she filled herself a glass of water and drank it. grabbing another one, she filled it and spoke, "want something to drink, Ara?"
(OOC - its ok. i have days like that too.)
