Personality: Blazinda is a bubbly and cheerful soul, one of those irrepressible spirits that can never be contained or daunted by any hardship. Some people love her for it, and a few hate her, but it’s hard not to admire her optimism and can-do spirit.
The mechanic is also truly an expert in her field, a true wizard with technology, and it shows in the way she talks: a veritable stream of technobabble constantly erupting from her lips.
Blazinda is a woman who has never known true hardship, and it shows sometimes when she fails to understand what has happened to those less fortunate than herself. She has the advantage of a good family upbringing and a firm grounding.
Make no mistake, this girl is tough. Blazinda’s stint in the Republic fleet was a great boost to her, adding a plethora of skills and boosting her abilities greatly. To this day she has some fond memories of it, though she was never involved in any combat.

Bio:
Blazinda Kast was born to an Epicanthix mother and a Human father, both working in the same small business on Eriadu, in the capital city. It was a swoop and speeder shop, selling parts and bikes.
Life growing up was hardly difficult, with two brothers being the biggest challenge. They were two years older and one year younger, named Tover and Cubber respectively.
Needless to say while growing up there was a lot of rough housing, and Blazinda was treated like one of the guys. Growing up she felt more of an affinity to swoops and speeders than dresses and dolls.
She carried this with her through schooling, though she was still one for the occasional girly event, and she had an interest in the boys like so many did. However her main passion was shop class and learning about mechanics.
It was no surprise to her friends that she entered the Republic Fleet at 17 with her parents’ permission. She was placed in her desired role as a mechanic, working on starfighters.
It wasn’t too long before she was working merrily away as a propulsion specialist, ultimately achieving the rate of Petty Officer 3rd Class and the position of crew chief.
Blazinda never saw any conflicts during her service, but she did get a little sick of military life, and wanted a change of pace. A bout of shore leave on Glee Anselm convinced her of one fact: water worlds were quite soothing. With that in mind, Blazinda let her enlistment expire and took an honorable discharge.
At the age of 25, Blazinda found herself on Manaan, and promptly found a job as a mechanic, bringing back her high school lessons and specializing in speeder bikes and swoops.
Skilled mechanics were always needed at the swoop tracks in Manaan, but Blazinda’s only stable gig didn’t come until 3601 BBY when she met Varulla’aba, a brand new swoop racer who had made a big entry in the season opener, who quickly wound up with a sponsorship by Incom, complete with a brand new and very fancy swoop that caught Blazinda’s eye.
It was Blazinda who approached Var, and the rest was history.
