Kaleesh biology

Alright today I'll be making you scratch your little noggins with yet another query. This time regarding our reptilian bipedal friendos, the kaleesh.

Firstly, plantigrade or digitigrade stance? Wookiepedia holds no definitive answer. Grievous' cyborg body was shown to have a digitigrade stance but that may be due to his cybernetic body being based on the Krath war droid. Also the Wookiepedia page for the Kaleesh has artwork of the kolpravis which shows organic Kaleesh having a digitigrade stance. However on that very same page another piece of art depicting another Kaleesh shows him in a plantigrade stance. Furthermore Sk'ar in the Star Wars comics had a plantigrade stance. So? What to do?

Secondly regarding their hands. Kaleesh are usually depicted with four-clawed hands including two opposable thumbs on each hand. However in The Old Republic MMORPG a potential Kaleesh companion Xalek posses only three digits on each hand including a single opposable thumb on each hand. The two opposable thumbs per hand theory is supported by the fact Grievous' cyborg body is shown to have two opposable thumbs and that the Wookiepedia page states that Kaleesh have two opposable thumbs on each hand in the "biology" section of the Kaleesh page. Nevertheless I'd like confirmation one way or the other.

I'd go with what the biology text says over any images or games, never underestimate the importance of game development corner cutting. As for the stance I've seen more official art work with the digigrade stance so I'd go with that, also more interesting that way.

If your really paranoid, seeing how much fluff your going to have to manufacture anyway with that race, say they have subspecies and cover both bases.
