Blazinda looked at the food on her plate before stuffing six or seven fries into her mouth and scooping up the filet of fish, motioning for Nar to follow her as she played guide.
Var gestured to the hybrid woman and spoke for her.
"She'll lead you to the right spot. Go ahead and follow her."
The Twi'lek woman raised the eyebrows tattooed onto her face and wondered again just where Nar actually would fit in. Maybe he would fit in while flying a starfighter, certainly he didn't seem to fit in anywhere else.
Var made a shooing motion with her hands and stared at the remnants of food, sighing that so much had gone uneaten. Her old habits died hard, and she remembered as a child that every single scrap of food was a precious commodity. She resolved to get boxes to take home the rest of Blazinda's fried food, her own stew, and Nar's uneaten stew.
Luckily she wasn't the type to be picky about bacteria.
"Good luck with your new life Nar, I think you'll need it."
Var watched them leave, gathering up the food. Finally she headed home on her own, Eleanor still perched on her shoulder. Hopefully she wouldn't have more expensive good deeds to do in the future.
But perhaps she was better suited to dealing with them now.
