Name:Lord Revenant {Monjin Coros}
Race: Theelin Pure Blood
Age: 76
Height:6'4ft
Weight:201lbs
Appearance:
Monjin was a somewhat well built, even a bit bulky Theelin male with blood red skin covered in pinkish spots and three jagged curving horns on each side of his face. Stopping right before his pointed red ears. Those horns are all well groomed and polished. His hair is in one thick greying ponytail. His skin seemed slightly thicker and tight compared to others of his race, do to many physical alterations. His eyes appear slightly sunken in with thick black circles around them.
Deep Yelllow glow to his eyes, while remaining extremely bloodshot red. He looks very demon like in appearance... He has black Sith tattoos over his whole body and face to indicate his training and life experiences... He has a small X shaped scar on his forehead between his two horns and one other long cut on his chest going from left to right. Most of his physical traits relate to the mutations or modifications on his body. Such as the mask over his mouth that doubles as a voice box and breathing unit.
His face shows signs of aging although he only looks as If he was in his mid 60s. His teeth are also somewhat jagged and he clearly has a strong sense of personal hygiene that you wouldn’t expect from such a suspicious looking fellow... His chin and large part of his jaw is covered by a thin metal sheet ending slightly down the neck as well as a artificial voice box...
It allows him to speak without pain after a injury suffered around his turn to the dark side. with also a voice box that helps the Sith speak easy with only negitive effect being a screechy cybernetic voice heard alongside Monjin's somewhat deep voice. He also wears the mask of his former Cult leader out of respect and his claim to power over the organization.
His right hand also had to be replaced by a mechanical arm of silver color with a shield like plate on its back side. The plating can reflect Lightsabers and Blaster bolts to a dagree... The Theelin wears two black leather strapped gloves up to his elbow and a pair of gauntlets. On a small gold chain around the Sith's neck is a shiny amulet.
He wears a armorweave robe over a Phrik body armor, over a armor weaved body glove suit.
Personality:
Monjin is, obsessed with his own health and hygiene. He Does not enjoy physical contact with other beings very much and often has a childish reaction if touched without his permission. He often puts on a cold front, but truthfully he's quite intense and passionate ... He has a great deal of confidence in his power and ability, a trait he often shows proudly. Like most Sith passion and pride is a major part of his personality, although he also thinks of himself as a man of honor, (despite this being far from truthful).
Monjin often beats around the bush, in that he often drops hints as to what he wants in place of outright saying it. When in conversation he would often interrupt others if he feels there words are irrelevant. He often puts his own plans before the long term goals of his organization's or parties.
The man also understands the Sith's habit of self destruction and expects the same thing to happen with this Sith, although he expects to become a Sith lord before that as he causes massive destruction and divide in the galaxy inorder to leave his mark on the face of history, so that someday people would read of his awesome accomplishments and or his legacy of great evil.
He is often Lawful evil in terms of character, although he may show more chaotic traits when need be... If he says he won’t do something, HE won’t do it, but somebody else likely will do it for him. That is simply the type of being he has proven himself to be. It is his goal to create the ultimate order, completely controlled and effective systems ruled by a single power.
He seeks the power to destroy all, while his ultimate goal is to reach god like status, if not in reality at least in legend. Causing a trail of destruction and fear, his legacy is one of pain and suffering that has spaded generations.
. He has earned nicknames like "Overlord of Destruction" or “Monjin the never Died”, "The Alchemist of Ambria","The Forest Deity Of Ziost", "Revenant the Doom Dealer" and “Lord Revenant The Returning!” The name he temporarily clammed as the leader of a small clan of Darksiders. These are nicknames given to him by his fellow cultist and others he has encountered in his long history.
One that he reclaimed after gaining master status in the Sith Order... He failed to create a new Sith order in is youth so happily follows the new Sith now, at least until he finds a opening to extract power for himself. Even if it has to be from the cold dead hands of the overlord himself.
The man is a rather talented Scientist and multi-tasker, having the ability to concentrate on about three things at once and only sacrifice the bar minimum in terms of concentration and effectiveness. He is also something of a lover of mathematics with a photographic memory. It is rather useful when studying since holding on to collected knowledge and remembering people who wronged him. He also maintained the ability to still function when using battle Coordination, although he was rather limited from divided concentration something accomplished by few.
His powers were developed through sheer innate talent, although Monjin devoted such large parts of his time to study and practice simply to improve himself.
Monjin is fixated on the mystical and destructive elements of the force. He has always been a obsessive seeker of secrets and knowledge.
Monjin has studied the tactics of some of the greatest military minds of the last few thousand years, allowing him to be a enigma in any battle. He often has a unpredictable when formulating a battle strategy.Although he is rude and controlling by nature people still make the choice to follow him. Why? Because he is a master of speech craft, and has a very honest voice. He speaks as if he completely and totally beleaves in what he is saying, and in turn he inspires loyalty. Monjin acts as if his cause is something he deeply beleaves in and has a fairly easy time convincing people to follow him.
He has mastered Force rage to the point that he can maintain it for a extreme amount of time as well as maintain the ability to make smart choices in combat. He has such fear, hate, anger, and blood lust that his use of this ability proves ultimately his most potent force power yet. Though years of training he feels as if he had gained mastery of the darkside in its most raw forms. Even deep study into rituals and "Spells" have made him even more something to be careful of.
Birth place:Nar-Shaddaa
Faction: Sith Order
Rank: Sith Master
Previous Faction: Dark Jedi
Previous Rank: Dark Jedi Master
Bio:
Early Life 0-3: Born on Nar Shaddaa as the child of Hutt slaves Monjin was quickly smuggled away by a Smuggler who was at one point in debt to Monjin's Father. Monjin's father was once a Smuggler himself partnered with Zel the Smuggler under Kon'paa the Hutt. After years of working together the two got into a situation, attacked by pirates and lost every bit of weaponry they were transporting. They failed the biggest smuggling job of the year and Zel was injured and the other smugglers with them were all dead. After they returned to Kon'paa he was going to enslave them both, but Monjin's father took the heat for everything.
Claiming to have hide while Zel relentlessly fought to protect the cargo, while in truth Zel's recklessness was what costed them in the end. Monjin at no point had to know his family or grow up as a slave like his parents before him.
He traveled the galaxy for three years with the Zeltron Smuggler who was named Zel… He took the young Theelin everywhere and was a effective guardian for some time.
Although during a smuggling job to Naboo young Monjin was tracked by a jedi knight who had somehow managed to sense him. So the smuggler Zel spoke with the jedi for a short time and decided if Monjin had potential in the force it would be best if he joined the jedi, as long as Zel got some payment he was happy. Zel simply asked for payment because he needed to make a living, but he still would have handed the boy over if the jedi refused, he saw it simply as a tip for the trouble.
So the smuggler said his goodbyes to the young Monjin who at the age of three was still not much of a talker and showed signs of being a distant and fearful child. Monjin was handed over with no second thoughts as the unnamed jedi took him.
Youngling 4-11: Finding himself groomed and protected by the jedi order so someday he could be a tool of justice, Monjin was expected to behave himself at all times and act as expected of a young jedi. While he was much more distant and uncomfortable than the other younglings, he was advancing at a great rate in areas of body control, Telepathy, and Lightsaber combat. Although his social life was rather limited. His skill with the lightsaber got him noticed very often, how overwhelmingly direct his style was...
He was not a confident youngling, dispite showing off positive aspects of himself he proved to be socially challenged growing up. He was also very skilled with both lightsaber and Telepathic force skills in his youth. He had no friends or social life of any kind by the end of his youngling days. two months after turning 12 he was taken by a Klatooinian Jedi Knight who was 37 years of age.
Jedi Padawan! 12-23:
Rolando Gon was the Klatooninian Jedi Master who took in Monjin as his Padawan when nobody else would. He acted as a kind, supportive, and respectful person throughout his life, at least his Jedi life... He had made Monjin feel a attachment like no other to him, do to the Klatooninian being one of the few people who makes him feel as if he had value. Although in truth this Klatooninian was a darksider who had gone missing with his master years ago and came back years later claiming his own master dead and himself lucky to be alive. Although he was simply using a form of force stealth to hide his inner darkness from the Jedi. Monjin didn't know this for years and by then it was to late.
Monjin's time as a Jedi Padawan was not spent in constant training but constant study. His master trained him to think Knowledge was the key to truly unlimited power and understanding. Monjin thought this to be true so he spent much of his time reading about the lightsaber forms and mimicking form demonstrations. The young man had a near photographic memory, something he took advantage of as often as he could. Monjin was also spending so much time with his noise in a history book he could retail the stories of the Jedi Civil War and Mandalorian Wars though memory alone. What he had never admitted was his strong admiration for darker figures such as leaders of conflicts like the Mandalorian Wars era and Jedi Civil War era.
He saw these people as figures of great strength, and his master did indirectly encourage these thoughts. He was taught basic skills from each style of lightsaber combat. He also practice body and sense alteration skills in order to better himself in combat. His master showed him the best way to become a master is to take power and force your way up though the ranks, and that Knowledge allowed quicker growth than constant practice.
Monjin accepted these ideals as his own and swiftly evolved mentally overall. Do to his master's position Monjin would go though his Padawan years without ever facing down other force users. He had few major battles in this time as well, but do to his drive to input study and practice into everything he does. He had shown major talent in the use of Shien and Shii-Cho by the age of 17.
He showed great talent, often standing out as a lightsaber duelist. Although his skills in the force didn't go unnoticed, having proved himself to have the potential to release Force Body from a age that most would consider far to young. Dispute his meager level of control and the extreme effect it has on his body.
His drive to become stronger only grew with the constant praise and ego boosting from his master, something that was indirectly pushing him closer into the embrace of the dark side. Monjin was growing very egotistical and uptight with age and experience. Although he was poorly trained in use of hand to hand combat he would often undergo weight training and training with the use of a spear, simply to increase his strength and aggressive tendencies in combat situations.
Although from a young age this did positively effect his weapon skills, in terms of lightsabers as well as pole arms. Something that he found very useful later in his life. He also constructed his first lightsaber nearing the end of his 17th year. Something that would mean a great deal to most meant very little to him. He saw making that weapon as his right as a jedi, it meant little because a lightsaber was a tool and was only as useful as the wielder.
Most of his time as a Jedi Padawan was spent studying, and his favorite things to look up were the more unique Jedi skills. He often attempted to practice the skills that appeal to him most. He looked up a number of things such as Force Stealth, battlemind, Force Valor, Force Body, Battle Meditation, and Force weapon. Although dispute constant practice he couldn't invoke the powers, attempting most of the time would leave him broken and without energy, at times void of the force. As a good observer with photographic memory he tended to notice patterns with ease and could mimic most actions after seeing it once or twice.
After the creation of his personal lightsaber Monjin was sent on a mission with his master to protect a shipment of industrial parts on their way to Druckenwell. He was not taught to care for a lightsaber like most, he saw it as a tool that defined the power of a Jedi. At the time space pirates in that sector of space was very much common. Everything seemed to be going well until the supply ship was boxed in by two large but still somewhat smaller pirate ships; Thus the start of a space battle that lasted for some hours.
The pirates sent out small scout ships with weak weapons to attack and deal some damage while the two pirate ships released wave after wave of cannon fire. The crew along with Monjin and his master took their places on opposite sides of the ship inside of man operated turrets. while most the smaller swifter turrets were under the control of a number of Astor droids scattered though out the ship.
Monjin and his master was like the crew, working with heavy artillery. The two jedi used their greater sensing ability and skill to destroy a vast number of fighters before things became complicated.
It did not take long for the bold attackers to start sending boarding pods into the ship's frame. These actions forced Monjin to act more violently, as did his Master. Getting to his feet after the destruction of his turret by a boarding pod that slashed though the frame of the ship.
After he activated his saber he waited on the pods side and the moment the four within ran out Monjin attacked. He took two of them before they could react taking both of their heads with a single sweep. The remaining two who was running the other way turned to face Monjin only for one to be shot in the back by a member of the crew while Monjin deflected a blaster shot into the final pirate's head using the Shien stance.
They seemed to travel in small groups while boarding, mostly trying to take cargo and be smuggled away to the pirates own ship... Although most didn't expect Jedi and were left unprepared for the sudden movements assisted by the force. Monjin's Shien and Shii-Cho skills proved there undoing, although Monjin did not prove unkillible forever. After beheading three men as they dropped from their pods. He was then shot in the back of his left shoulder. He was lightly armored so a large amount of damage was absorbed, yet thus it hurt a great deal.
The single enemy now before him fired many more shoots with a pistol, as Monjin deflected most before being shot three more times, once in the right knee and twice in the torso. Although vitals were missed his wounds were great, but he managed to keep going off of pure will to live and instinctively released the Force Body skill and pushed himself that extra mile to deflect a few more shots and with a single force leap thrusted the lightsaber into the now fearful invader before passing out one top of this enemies corpse.
Although the battle was still not very much in their favor do to being out numbered and out gunned, the jedi still proved rather effective in running off the republic ship's attackers.
After the battle his master had proven to much for the attackers mostly unassisted.
Thus allowing them to soon find Monjin and feared his death was near, taking him to the medical bay the group attempted to land the ship for the boy to get to a better medical center on a near by republic planet. Although before they could he awoke to every bodies shock. Only finding his force ability had diminished to the point of being nearly void of the force, He couldn't speak or focus, unsure of what had happened, yet his master had some idea of what caused this.
Only finding his force ability had been returning bit by bit with time... After some discussion it was decided that this was a form of force body that the boy had instinctively tapped into, and as a result leaving him without the ability to act as a jedi for a few months. Although in recovery Rolando still trained the boy and worked on his use of force body, sometimes resulting in his recovery time being halted and having him set back even more so...
Monjin's master was pleased at the fact his student had managed to survive though raw will power and the deep rooted connection to the force he held... Rolando found himself intriged at the raw talent this child had, to have memorized all of the important points related to this power and tapping into it only when he needed it most...
He felt a need to train and mold this child for his raw untapped power in order to make him a useful tool in his own goals and plans. After months of sharpening Monjin's skill like a blacksmith sharpening a fine blade. Monjin expressed joy as well as over confidence in his abilities and raw talent.
The things he could do from a young age was rather stunning, even for Master Jedi within the order, causing Monjin to embrace deeper study into the force with the hopes of upstaging those Masters. Rolando would supply him with any and every text he felt the boy would need, even those off limits to Padawan... The boy wanted to be better, to change the Galaxy the way nobody else could ever dream, and he felt Rolando was the one who would guide Monjin down the path of ultimate power...
Subsequently he was seen falling to the darkside, and others started to notice this. Others including his master who was pleased by the advancements in power and changing thoughts on the subject of whats right and wrong. His master was of the darkside and had simply hide his own alliance though the force.
Rolando felt the need to test his Padawan who he had prepared to walk the path of a guardian, in combat. Soon as he had recovered completely from the Pirate attack above Druckenwell by the age of 20, Rolando started Monjin's advanced training in Shien and Djem So.
He seemed much more skilled in the Djem So variation from the start, showing fairly instant understanding of the basic movements of the form variation. Rolando was impressed mostly by his effective combination of Body alteration skills like force speed, Force Attribute and force jump. The Jedi master was clearly impressed, often complimenting the actions of the rather young Monjin simply to make him ever more conceded.
His master had planned for him to take his trials of knighthood, not to be knighted but to see what the child could do, at least a glimpse. His combating the pirates on that ship years ago proved all he needed for his trial of Courage. He would then find himself sent to Haestrom along with his master to assist a few Military folk in a conflict resolution. Although the real conflict would start when Rolando sent Monjin off with a single squad to report to the local military forces.
Although in truth a plan was taking form, Rolando was with the bulk of the forces going to deal with the enemy while Monjin was alone with a single squad of four. Suddenly Monjin felt something come over him in the force, so he turned to face the troops when he found the men being systematically slain...
A dark jedi appeared and challenged Monjin who drew his lightsaber and went for a full on assault. The fight was a bit in the dark jedi's favor do to greater experiences and overall skill. The dark jedi managed to inflict many minor wounds to the young Theelin while the boy managed to tilt the scale in his favor a bit though use of the force.
Although he had started strong he was overwhelmed the moment he was struck by force lightning from the Dark man. That lighting in the end was the peace that ended the battle. The dark one remarkably didn't kill Monjin but left him behind, in extreme pain and near death.
He was found and saved by master Rolando who said he whould have died if not for his first aid skills and a slumbering Monjin drawing power from force body to maintain his life.
The final reports from that mission ended with reports of the pirates on the planet as well with all the troopers with the Jedi killed in that conflict. Although who did the killings were not very specific. In the end that mission allowed Monjin to pass his trial of Flesh. Although it was set up by his Master, something Monjin and the jedi managed to stay ignorant of.
His next test was the Trial of Spirit, a test that took place in the mind of the Padawan. Monjin simply sat until he had fallen into a deep state of meditation. In witch the moment his eyes opened he saw nothing but blackness and stars around him. He seemed to be standing on nothing, only the darkness of deep space below his feet, finally looking downward he sees a burning Coruscant and stars though out the solar system blacking out before his very eyes.
Then suddenly vortex's of dark energy forms all around him and appears legendary darksiders of the past. Historical figures all around him, striking fear within young Monjin. The boy ignited his lightsaber as did the legendary phantoms. Using Djem So he managed to hold off the legends who came at him one at a time, although not managing to slay any of the beings before him he did withstand their assaults until they suddenly backed away and parted.
Out of a new vortex came a younger whimpering gray skinned Monjin. Shocked Monjin would stand with his saber drawn and fight himself, his inner most fears in a battle that lasted all of 20 seconds before the fear was disarmed and crying at Monjins feet. Suddenly the dark siders of the galaxies past started cheering and chanting "Do it! Strike down your fear! Become great!" They kept saying this filling the sky with echoing voices.
Although Before monjin could react the darksiders all swirled into the sky creating a new vortex much larger then the others, and with a booming sound the Fear was struck by a lightning bolt and lifted into the air as it screams in pain. Suddenly a red lightsaber impales Monjin's fear though the chest and out steps a hooded figure who says "I will cure you of fear and make you all powerful!"
The being removes his hood to reveal Master Rolando who smiled kindly to his student and moved to embrace as Monjin drops his weapon. As they Hug Monjin suddenly felt a great pain only to find the phantom of Rolando had impaled him as the being says "And someday I will take that power away from you, and your life with it!" as the phantom laughs like a mad man everything is engulfed by darkness and the trance is broken.
The masters soon came to Monjin and asked what he saw and the boy looked at his master and lied to the others saying that he saw many dark jedi around him as he was fighting a dark side form of himself. He then said he defeated the being and let it live, although the masters did sense it was not the whole truth they accepted what he had told them and allowed him to pass the trial.
although later he became comfortable with what he saw and made the choice to tell his master Rolando what he really saw. This reaction intrigued the Klatooninian Master and he wanted to see where this leads young Monjin. Although Monjin approached with his lightsaber hidden and ready to be activated if need be, and he spoke and behaved as if his mind and spirit was void of all fear and self dough. So the Klatooninian simply reassured Monjin of his false faith and loyalty to his student, witch calmed monjin's inner most self to know his master was the man he claimed to be.
Months later after many missions and Monjin's 22nd birth day he was appointed to take the trial of skill. He was in good condition do to his advancing skills in the Force and Force body after constant training between missions. He had advancing body as well as a Telepathy powers on par with most other knight level jedi. His force abilities were not as impressive as his Djem So skills however. He also had proven to have some talent with Makashi and at least complete knowledge of Shii-Cho. His physical strength and mental strength was also no joke, solving complicated puzzles weekly as he grew up made him rather sharp witted.
His trial of skill put him against a hologram clocked lightsaber Training Droid with advanced saber programs as a Ancient Sith who used duel sabers in combat. Monjin felt no fear, his guard was up and he was ready to crush his enemy. They would fight for some time, the sith playing mind games as the battle draws on. This droid was a talkative one who used his constant speech to throw Monjin off balance.
Although as Monjin started to lose control of the fight, he started to break down mentally. Images rushed though Monjin's mind, memories of pain, suffering, and near death at the hands of that darksider long ago. This anger grew with the raging conflict, and do to this Monjin managed to project force lightning. Copying the stance and reflecting the rage of the anger of the Darksider he had faced so long ago.
In doing so the council ended the trial right away and he was scolded on his invoking of a dark side attacks. Thus the trial failed and Monjin was closer into darkness than ever before... This was mostly do to his irritation in that he would likely have a harder time becoming a knight do to this single mistake. They had something of a heart to heart with the boy over a long period of time while some of the other council members discussed the issue with his master. The Council even sent him away letting him know he was suspended from training while they decide if he should be allowed to move along with his work as a Jedi.
Rolando was a bit uncomfortable in the position this force lightning put him in. The following conversation forced Rolando to suggest Monjin be exiled from the order. He then told them about Monjin's photographic memory and amazing observational skills, following with a reminder of what happened to him on their last mission. Claiming that Monjin most likely picked it up from contact with that Darksider.
Monjin's master soon after had a meeting with him and attempt to convince the boy of his amazing skill and how the council simply feared the power he could have. He then asked Monjin to invoke the power once more and after Monjin simply told him he does not understand how it happened the first time, surprising Rolando who thought of this boy as the tool that would bring him ultimate power.
He was learning new and powerful skills though instinct alone, his experiences always seem to unlock a new power within. This was all Rolando needed to make his final choice for Monjin's future. Leading him to train the boy for a few more months before tricking the Theelin into thinking the jedi were about to kick him from the order since a verdict was reached. Thus he said that they had to make it to Ziost only 2 months before his 24th birthday.
Evolving in the shadows! 24-34:
At the age of 23 Monjin was moved to Ziost in secret with master Rolando, who planned to teach him to master the darkside. Although Monjin didn't yet know of those plans, so he blindly followed the man. Soon after they reached the planet they walked around a deep dark forest, Rolando acted almost as if he did not know what it was he was looking for. Although if that was the case maybe there would have been a chance for change in the men's lives...
It did not take long for Master Rolando to pause and turn around, prompting Monjin to do the same thing. When he turned he was shocked to find the same Dark hooded figure that had attacked him before. Monjin felt a disruption in the force the moment he stepped foot on the planet, so clearly the corruption in the air had to be this man correct? So Rolando backed away and told Monjin this was his fight, which Monjin gladly accepted.
In doing this he accepted his chance at revenge, something Monjin's master was working for this whole time, mostly do to this battle being arranged by him... The Dark Jedi and Monjin clash constantly, moving and avoiding all though the battle this fight was clearly going to drag on. At least that would have been the case if the darksider kept his mouth shut.
He showed no hesitation to throw insults at Monjin, prompting him to become in raged. Monjin was doing fine until he was struck by force lighting and forced to one knee. The man spoke ill of him and all Theelin's, as Master Rolando turns his back on the battle. Suddenly all of Monjin's inner rage was released, as he goes into a fit of rage via the force. He also somehow instinctively activated Force body, draining his on life force in order to magnify the force within.
With his eyes suddenly glowing a deep yellow Monjin replayed the movements of force lighting in his head and he simply impersonate the instance of attack. He rose to his feet as he struck his enemy with his own form of force lightning. He kept it up until the enemy was weak and helpless, the man sat looking at Rolando when he saw that his back was to the two. He knew he had nothing more to offer this child, nothing at all..."kill him, now!" said master Rolando. Although Monjin showed his skill, it was not completely clear what was in Monjin's heart until this moment. So seconds after being asked Monjin cut the man’s head from his neck, and pleased Rolando, greatly in the fact that there was little to no hesitation for the most brutal type of killing, beheading... To better this feeling no questions were asked and orders were simply obeyed.
That was it, the final wall between Monjin and position within Rolando's true order. The duo walked through the forest until finally arriving near a large camp at midnight. From the camp came a total of 13 dark hooded figures, which were all strong in the force. Rolando went off to talk to a old man and a man with a mask as he told Monjin to wait outside the camp site.
Within five minutes Monjin was allowed in and introduced to the important members of the group, the masters. He was first introduced to Human Dark master Barrdok von Housing. The very man who introduced Rolando to the Cult. This man was seen as the Lightsaber specialist of the group, and a master of Juyo second only to the high lord himself. Then Zabrak Master Shirala Mal, was the master of destruction, with force ability second only to the high lord.
Then there was the Dark lord of the cult known only as Havorric, he wore a bone like mask at all times and he was considered the strongest most knowledgeable of all the Darksiders within the keep. Monjin knew right away to bow to that being before him. The man was above all of them in every possible way, and everybody knew he was untouchable in single combat. Monjin did not take long to accept his master’s offer of joining this alliance, for he never felt like he belonged with the Jedi to begin with, as well as the feeling he wouldn't have left alive if he said no to this kind offer of friendship...
So new forms of more painful training would start for Monjin under the arm of all the masters but lord Havorric, who payed no mind to the training of the apprentices. Monjin's training started with attempts to master his Force body ability, simply by beating him and expecting him to activate the power. Although it seemed impossible, as it repeatedly activated outside of his control.
Mostly at times the power unlocked at times of great stress or passion. Monjin was scolded repeatedly as they realized the power couldn't be controlled, at least not by Monjin. This caused the others to insult Monjin and call him useless do to his inability to master what they considered to be a very valuable skill. This often made Monjin somewhat a constantly enraged character in terms of his training. To have had master Rolando spend so many years building him up only to watch him crumble like a cookie crushed in the hand of a giant...
They also began training in the use of force weapon, since many in the cult had never used lightsabers they had to learn this ability, although the only master of the skill was Havorric, as expected... Monjin couldn't maintain his force weapon technique for very long, so he was pushed harder and punished with every failure... He could only block maybe one attack if lucky before his force weapon breaks. He had trouble making force energy flow though the objects but staff and lightsaber combat still came easy to him.
Yet they still treated him like trash and abused him with every failure. Who ever was in charge of his training that day knew what to do to hurt him. with every mistake he was physically pushed into the mud, and sometimes his face would be rubbed into it like a dog. he would be beaten often as well, often causing him to break down mentally, shutting everybody out if not going completely mad.
He was consistently bullied by the other Apprentices related to his lack of Force Body, and Force Weapon control; Thus, making Monjin infinitely more enraged. Mostly due to the fact he was being bullied by those who had no unique skills of their own to begin with, and he was being bothered for not effectively controlling his unique talents. This often resulted in Monjin getting into a fight or the young Theelin running off into the forest to work on his skills, altering his body and practicing the force's more destructive elements.
When he found himself angry about anything he did one of three things. meditate to learn how to better channel the darkside, Throw rocks using the force or fire barrages of lightning into the sky. He had the strangest outlets for anger, often assaulting the wild life and plants with force lightning... Even fighting the beast of the forest with nothing but his fist and the force at his side. Something that had also simply brought more ridicule in the lad's direction. He could only describe his time in the dark forest as hell, for the constant training and constant feeding of his rage. He had lost all joy, all kindness, all mercy, and all hope for change. He was little more than a weapon by that time, so he would leave a legacy. A legacy of destruction and pain.
His masters made this clear to him, as his Djem-So training advanced he was shown to use his Shien form in what was considered by the cult to be a more unpredictable position. He was thought the value of holding the blade back handed. At the tender age of 26 he was at practice with Back handed Shien and nearly a master of Djem-so. The training was no easy task, for his opponents were often masters or other higher ranks.
It was not long before the masters made the choice that they would attempt to teach Juyo, the most deadly form of lightsaber combat. Most masters wouldn't teach this style, due to the overly aggressive nature and extreme difficultly. The sharp and random movements prove to demanding for a large majority of practitioners of the style. The eager Theelin was more than happy, for he was picking up on the form swiftly with few setbacks in the process, which proved rather impressive for someone to learn so much so easily, no matter who they were; Thus, causing even Havorric's intrigue to peck. The large lord watched most of Monjin's training over the time he has spent within their hold, the power he gained was astonishing, despite his inability to properly administer the force body skill Havorric was none the less content to see Monjin grow and develop further.
After Monjin's 3rd week of training in the art of Juyo master Havorric approached Rolando and Monjin in order to demand that they demonstrate their skills. Master Rolando has had little training as well in Juyo, somewhere around 6 years, time to only master the basics, yet Havorric told them the choice was not theirs, despite the difference in experiences... Monjin accepted without question while Rolando argued against the idea until feeling the suffocating power of the force held by Master Havorric though a force choke. Such a ordeal briskly changed Rolando's mind on the subject.
Monjin and his master took their places at midnight in the camp site while circled by the other members of the cult. The duo engaged in battle with no hesitation. The two employed Juyo to the best of their abilities, thus Monjin was being pushed back. Despite greater physical strength and his quick understanding of Juyo, compared to his master he didn't have the raw experience or skill needed to overwhelm his master in direct combat.
Monjin was putting up a good fight despite his lesser skill and experience, but within two minutes of constant combat Monjin was disarmed and pushed to the ground. Only to have his master mock his weakness once more. Monjin's teeth grinned resulting in him going for a downed branch and springing to his feet in order to strike his master with it. Rolando turned in attempt to hack the branch to peaces but surprisingly the saber was blocked, by no less then a wooded stick.
Monjin struck out again, giving no thought to the strange thing that just happened, although it did not show even Havorric was stunned. Monjin held off attacks from Rolando for a short while, fending off a number of strikes and attacks without a thought as to what weapon he was defending himself with. Peace by peace the branch was being chipped peace by peace and Monjin's rage grew. Between Rolando's talking and Monjin's anger something simply flared the moment their weapons clashed. Lightning was seemingly focused though the stick and exploded between the two. Leaving the branch broken and Monjin unconscious as well as Rolando, ending the fight in a draw...
When the two awoke Havorric gives Monjin back his weapon and tells them all he will be taking Monjin as his "Private" student. Monjin had no problem with this. Although Rolando did not like the idea, he once again made the choice to defy Master Havorric who swiftly struck Rolando to the ground, and promising the next time he defies him will be the last. The former Jedi bleeding on the ground attempted to speak with Monjin, to reassure his loyalty to him, although Monjin answered by saying "Lord Havorric is your master, thus he is mine thrice over... So he has my loyalty Rolando... For you are no longer my master..." Then Mojin mimicked something Rolando has done to him to many times, he turned his back and walked away. Leaving the darksider shaken, with the remainder of the cult, all but his own master Barrdok Von Housing.
Monjin then spoke with his new master Havorric who spoke of the power Monjin had just used. He knew of this power, as his own Force weapon. Explaining the concept and how to use it effectively. He took the time to train Monjin as much as he possibly could in this, causing Monjin to feel a level of great trust and respect, despite the still hellish training and study. He learned how to use a staff and sword in his time with master Havvoric, valued knowledge for sure. Mostly due to him being a practitioner of Force Weapon; he had to know how to properly bash open skulls with a pole.
Monjin was then told he would be going through a test, a test of advancement. He was flown out of the camp one night with his eyes blind folded and sent into the forest, he was told he must find his way back and survive. If he dies he dies, it simply means he didn't have the skill he was thought to have. So after maintaining his senses to map the path, Monjin had no problem with this, it felt like a rite of passage as well as the start of his legacy.
The man traveled through the woods, cutting down any violent beast to cross his path. It was not difficult to overpower the basic wild life, although half way through to the location he ran into his former Jedi master, Rolando who was waiting for this day to claim revenge.
The two spoke of the issues between the two before igniting their weapons and rushing forward into a clash. The two fight each other to the death. The battle was almost totally lightsaber focused, Monjin used Djem-So to challenge Rolando's Juyo. Do to Monjin's mastery of Djem-So compared to Rolando's Juyo he put up a effective fight.
The two classed repeatedly, the idea that two people who were once so close could fight like this was frightful, not only did they plan to fight to the death they felt no remorse in this conflict. Monjin saw Rolando as a traitor, and Rolando felt the same way. They used words in attempts to hurt each other, although they were both rather cold and felt nothing from each other's words. This fight dragged out for a total ten minutes, at some point forcing Monjin to run with Rolando fallowing. The two simply relocated the battle near a large number of trees that Monjin simply used for cover as he lashed out at Rolando. The battle was brutal and Rolando's energy was fading fast from the use of Juyo, and then prompting Mojin to employ the style in his former masters purely weakened state. Monjn pushed and pushed though his former master's defensive until the man held up his saber in a two handed striking stance. Due to this Monjin found the perfect opening and struck, taking rolando's left arm.
With that the man's hand had fallen to the ground while he stands under the shadow of a large tree screaming in pain. Only to look at his former student standing over him in discuss, laughing as if he was nothing. Monjin had this time won; He was victorious and had no problem rubbing it in. Monjin's words stung more than a lightsaber though the heart. Even having the cruelty to deny Rolando a honorable death, not out of mercy, but out of disrespect. Monjin walked away from his former teacher without care and staid on his path back to camp, with Rolando cursing his name as he fads into the thickly growing fog.
The young Dark master to be continued down his road to power and destruction, slaying any sickly beast that crossed his path, for none compared to the battle with his own master. After three days he found the camp site and was welcomed back with open arms, with all within bowing before him and Lord Havorric honoring him with a ritual that signified his rise in rank among his group.
At this point Monjin remained with the others, working and studying daily, improving. Monjin had spent so much time in training he had mastered both Djem so and Shii-Cho by the age of 31. His training with Force weapon was also in a advancing stage thanks to the incredible teachings of Lord Havorric. He within that time even mastered the use of the spear and had some talent with the use of a knife. His growth in the use of the force was also no laughing matter, for he could manage a powerful grip with the force chock and create fork lightning with incredible destructive potential.
Monjin was often praised for his power by other cultist because of his swift advancement, and status as the lords apprentice. Respected and feared Monjin stood out like no other, his hunting skills ever impressive, and his ability to channel his anger and hate into such a potent force rage that at times activated his unique force body skill.
There was little to do in the camp most days other then study, train and hunt, unless Monjin spent time talking with someone. Although one day Monjin had thought to speak with master Havorric on a more personal level. He asked of his history, age and what was he behind that mask. The responses to these questions were rather shocking.
The Lord's response shuck the room, he spoke of his history being attached to a group of powerful and legendary darksiders as a teacher of Force skills. He was once a lord, and this information made knowledge of his lord's age a bit more important. Further Havorric reveals he is over four centuries old. The idea of such a freakishly old being was hard to see... Then came the answer to what was he... "I am Now Nothing... I am less than a spirit, a phantom... I was of the people, the dark side in physical form... Now... Now I am nothing." Those words were almost too much to handle, the rituals in his words were mystifying... He did not understand the part about the Sith very much at all, but he let it go for the time being in order to prepare more questions. Although before words were spoken Monjin was forced into more training. He was brought out front to face his challenge; there was a total of six enemies ready to take the Theelin on in combat. Monjin was right then told to kill them where they stand. Although they were being allowed to fight back this time. Monjin didn't care for his master's reason for wanting these men dead after all the time they spent in the camp as allies, although he cared not for their petty lives. Master Havorric wanted them dead so they would die. These were men who had not passed the test to become true cultist and they had disrespected others who had out of anger, so they had to understand how foolish they were for their hateful words and actions.
Monjin was then told he would not however fight them alone, he would have a young women's assistance. This women was a fellow cultist and Theelin named Al'icha Mundari. Monjin was almost mesmerized by her attractive appearance and she was mesmerized by the fact he was likely the true heir to this cult. They were ordered to end the traders where they stood, so orders they would follow, igniting their sabers as did the enemies.
The enemies where four male humans, as well as a Twi'lek and a Nautolan. Monjin attacked before the group could activate their weapons, impaling one human though the torso before he could even draw his saber, proving his force speed to be top of the line as the others fall victim to fear while the master watched with pure pride in the Theelin's improvement. This action instigated a violently straightforward reaction from the other enemies. The remaining five challenged Monjin as a group, forcing him to rely on his Djem-So, striking back at the enemies deflecting and avoiding strike after strike.
Until The young Theelin women walks over calmly and tells the men not to ignore her before igniting her weapon. She used a saber staff and elegantly sprang into action, forcing back the men, causing them to spread out and become easier targets. Though that Monjin was given the chance to attack two more humans, while she violently engaged three enemies, she held them off much more effectively do to her staff like weapon. It was not long before her flowing movements allowed her to cut down the Twi'lek and follow up by gutting the other human she engaged.
Monjin managed to notice her swift double kill as he was using force push on the enemies before him. This felt like a moment of instant love, as her fighting ability and her without mercy nature lead to greater lust. In order to impress Monjin no longer took his eye's off of her as he unleashed turrets of burning Sith lightning until the two were dead. Although despite this the Nautolan was no push over facing the women as she was disarmed and almost struck down, imposing the rage of Monjin who used the force to guide his moments, igniting his lightsaber once more his increased speed allowed him to hack the being in half at the hip.
As the last man had fallen Havorric spoke to both of these Theelin and had chosen to make Al'icha a full Cultist and Monjin exalted to the rank of Ritual Master of the cult. This lead to a advancement ritual that Monjin was allowed to lead do to his new rank. After said activates Monjin and Al'icha took the time to get to know each other and soon other activates had bloomed. As well as not so negative emotions, something had chanced...
Not long after Al'icha was with child, the Theelin was struck full of pride and joy at this point. Although this feeling wouldn't last long for things were changing and Monjin and his master had sensed this as well.
Age of Distruction! 35-36:
Havorric had increased the speed of Monjin's training, teaching him rituals and galactic history in order to ready him to take his place as the leader of this group of fallen. Havorric knew something was coming, so he simply wanted his student to be ready for it. By the time Monjin had turned 36 a conflict arose within the camp. It was a uprising and power grab in one.
After Monjin awoke from his hour of sleep he took hold of his lightsaber since he could hear the conflict outside his tent. Monjin charged outside not knowing who the enemy was, the conflict was in fact among cultist.
Monjin was left running though the rising dust and slew of bodies falling before him. Right outside the camp Havorric was in combat with a group of outlaws and Darksiders who were clearly traders. Although before Monjin could rush in to assist his master he was blocked off by his former master, Rolando and his master Barrdok. Monjin was soon joined by Shirala Mal who assisted in the upcoming battle. Although half way though the fight Monjin was spoken to though the force by Havorric who asks for Monjin's forgiveness for not completing his training and tells him to take his mask from his body and staff from his tent.
This prompted Monjin to look to his master who was suddenly impaled on three sides. Monjin was shocked to see his master fall, thus distracted. giving Rolando a opening he then took advantage of without hesitation. The former Jedi master cut off his former padawan's sword arm... Shocked and broken from the combination of losing his master and his arm Monjin surrendered to sorrow. Although before Rolando could deliver the final blow he was impaled and reviling Al'icha Mundari had entered the fray.
After a short talk in which Monjin found himself suddenly full of spirit once more when his former master hit the floor. Monjin turned to face the three remaining Dark Jedi who had attacked Master Havorric. Although Monjin wouldn't have to challenge them when Havorric who was thought to be dead suddenly stood once more, and seemingly engulfed in darkside energy suddenly emitted a power. The three rushed Havorric again in which case he suddenly exploded into a wide and growing pillar of blue light as he screamed through the force...This clearly powerful being had caused a force explosion in death, leaving only his mask behind on a large amount of ashes...
The Theelin was as-stuned but he still honored his masters wishes and ran for his mask. Once he had it clenched tightly within his one good arm and knowing he could not go back for his staff he along with Al'icha ran for the ship Monjin had arrived in all those years ago. He took off with Al'icha, watching as the camp he had made his home for so long burn in a clearing in the forest. He felt no sorrow or regret, but felt pure uncontrollable rage. The man knew of rumors that some of the higher ranked members plotted to over throw Havorric, so this came as no real shock, but what did inspire fear was the fact that Havorric fell in battle; thus making it clear revenge would take many years of time a planning.
To become one with darkness... 37-41:
Though the help of a medical droid on a stop on Onderon the Theelin managed to have his lost arm replaced. After time adjusting to his new droid like appendage the two moved to Ambria where they would start a new life of total exile on a planet embraced totally by darkside energy and the Hissis threats scattered throughout the land.
It was on this planet that Monjin faced many challenges, where he learned to feed on darkside energy as well as suffer another near death experience. He at some point came into contact with a group of Hissis, he battled well, killing all attackers but still being poisoned. The broken man made his way back to his wife who called on some of her oldest jedi teachings to save him, the women soon forced Monjin into a ten day healing trance, that purged the poison from the Theelin's body.
This encouraged Monjin to find the bodies of those Hissis he manged to kill and extract their venom. He kept the venom for study. Also collecting plant life and reading into it's properties. He studied many things about the Jedi as well as the cult's history, but his favorite subjects were Biology and Chemistry. He for the next four years devoted his life to science, although he had not let go of his hate and inner rage. The whole time he was on Abria he spent gathering plains and Hissis venom to create a number of poisons. Creating it in forms of powders, gas and even liquid.
rumors of this got out and criminals form all over the galaxy started seeking him out. Eventually earning him the nickname "The Alchemist of Ambria" He devoted time to this art form of his, as well as teaching his son the way of the darkside. He trained him the same way he was trained, by the age of six the boy could feed on the darkside just like Monjin himself, making Monjin a proud father indeed.
Training Of the Son 42-44:
Within this time zone Monjin devoted half of his time to training his six year old son in the practice of the darkside. His strength improved swiftly and Monjin noticed the boy's power was greater at six than Monjin was at 13. Somewhat intimidated by this lad's power, yet more so pleased... He promised the boy power beyond his wildest dreams with hopes to create a bond of loyalty between them. Although Monjin had bigger goals in mind, staying in exile was no life.
Monjin told his family he was to leave, and return when his son was big and strong, and could make him even stronger. From that day on Monjin handed his name on to his child, and took the name "Revenant The Returning."
A Lord to be! 45-52:
Although the next seven years of his life was largely unknown what is known of it is that in this time he was spotted at many points visiting areas strong with the darkside, feeding on the energies of these locations and in some cases studying Halocrons as well as dark side worshipers he happen to find on his travels. He visited locations like Dxun, Korriban, Yavin 4, and Farrfin.
He spent a few years going back and forth between his camp site and a tomb in the Jungle of Dxun, his experiences on the moon of Dxun was one of the most dangerous he had ever felt. The nearly constant assaults from the moon's wild life the newly named Revenant the returning was always on guard. It was on this planet where he learned to create force storms and improve his force lightning ability to a point where blowing away large forces became a possibility. Though his hardships he was forced to experience new things and expand His training.
On Korriban he left many things unmoved, although he did visit the tombs of a number of darksider masters, and one great lord know to have mastered lightsaber combat to a incredible extent. Studying the holocrons within for a shot time. As well as taking a few text full of rituals and Lightsaber combat information, even explanation on how to invoke force flight. He meditated and focused his energy until he could get himself air born. He repeated this training method for months until he could work in Arial movements and even release other abilities.
He even looked onto the body of the ancient lord, allowing his darkness to flood into him. Feeding on this lord's energy and studying all that the tomb had to offer.
Soon after he visited the tomb of one more dark lord, one who was rather famous in fact. He gathered text and scrolls from the tomb, as well as taking time to feed on this lord's lingering power as well. To the point where he could feel a second presence, even hear a voice calling to him from the darkness.
After leaving the tomb he studied the gathered text rather closely and learned of the battle coordination ability. He practiced this as often as he possible could, whenever the beast of the dusty old planet had fallen into conflict he would turn the tide though his pure will power. He practiced this until he felt as if he had a understanding of the rare power.
When he finally went to his ship the last thing he looked at, the Great Temple. He decided at that point that he would become something great and someday he would be berried their, or have his own tomb made like all the great lords before.
The next location he had visited was Farrfin, location of a smuggler stronghold where he had gained information on his former cult. He gathered weapons and armors as he prepared to return to his family. He later made a stop on Yinvin 4 and spent time near massassi temples as he honed his other skills, both related to lightsaber combat and Special Force powers. On Yevin he studied a text on Makashi forms and combat. After he had chosen to move on to the next planet.
