Born on the forest planet of Kashyyyk, Tamak was the youngest of four siblings. Three sisters and a brother. Being the baby of the family he was picked on by his siblings, more so by the oldest, Lofnik. Tam, what he later would go by, wouldn't let it bother him. The young Wookiee still respected his brother and sisters despite how mean they were to him.
Around the age of five, he started showing signs of his mechanical prowess. He would help his father, Gaarpirr, repair his families protocol droid. It brought the young Wookiee great joy to fix and help his family. Though at times he would get carried away and try to fix things that weren't broken. At this age he was still trying to understand his own strength, so he tended to give his father more work then he had before.
His clan was very tight nit, his mother Attibowan would make huge feasts for the clan. He and his siblings would have to help set up the large tables and benches. They enjoyed the feasts that they held. It gave them time away from there studies and time to interact with other members. He was around the age of ten, his father and the clan elder which just happen to be Tamaks grandfather. Were discussing his Hrrtayyk Ceremony, it was the right of every male Wookiee to go through the ritual. Though Tamak wasn't looking forward to his.
From the ages a ten to twelve was mainly preparing him for his ceremony. His father and brother would spend hours a day teaching him how to carve tools. They would have him study the hunting techniques of the clans members. This did not interest him, he wanted to work on ships and droids. He wasn't into harming other living creatures for the fun of it. Though it was not an option to not participate in the ceremony.
Days after his twelfth birthday, Tamak and a group of four other male Wookiee was lead down to the Shadowlands. With what little supplies that they were given they set out to complete the task. Each boy set off with a different elder Wookiee, one that wasn't related to the boy. Tamak followed his mentor through the thick brush of the Shadowlands. They finally reached a small clearing that was just large enough to set up two ten. That's where, Lowwarr, his mentor started teaching him how to survive his the Shadowlands. Tamak, despite having no interest in doing the ceremony completed it. He stuggeled on the killing the animal, he found that killing was cruel. Even for a vicious creature. Upon returning to his village he was met by his mother with the news that his eldest sister, Snobacca, was pregnant.
Age 13-24
As the years moved on Tamak became more knowledgeable about different ships. He could fix most any class, with the help of his father of course, that was small enough to fit on the landing pads in the village. He and his father sometimes along with his brother, repaired the ships. They would also tend to any droids that need maintenance as well. He was most proficient at the Protocol Droids. It depended on how badly it was in need of repair, but Tam could do it in matter of hours.
Further and further he got in his years the better he get got at things. By ages 15 or 16 he started to understand basic language. The elder Wookiees didn't have to translate as much as they had to in the past. He'd began to become fascinated with the stories the cargo pilots would tell of Coruscant. Tam spent a lot or his off time talking to the people that stayed the night with them. Their world was nothing like Kashyyyk. Tall buildings, many different species coexisting all on one planet.
Several years later would be a turning point in Tamaks life. He had made the decision to leave his home and his family. It was not an easy choose to make, he deliberated with his grandfather for many years before he got his blessing. With all but him and his sister, Graanta, still at home. This was most heartbreaking for his mother, mostly due to that Tamak was her youngest cub.
So over the next few years he started to gather all the information he needed from he different people. Tam got info about what city life like, what businesses that were there and it he could find work. He found all information very useful for his up coming life changing move. One day a transport vessel had to stop off in Kashyyyk for some emergency repairs. This was his opportunity to get to Coruscant, though the pilot wasn't heading there just yet. The man promised he would stop back and take him to Coruscant in return for fixing the ship.
Getting new that in the next couple of day he would be getting to to the Core. It had been his dream for years. That night his mother and other females from the clan put together a festival. It was to send him on his way, though no one wanted him to leave. He revived many gift for his new life, from his father and his friends a vest that he could keep his tools in. He also was given a protocol droid so that he could converse with the population easier and have a companion. After the festivities were over his mother, in private gave him a gold bracelet. It was to symbolize the bond he and his mother shared even over a great distance.
Ages 25-Present
It had been a year or two since Tamak had left the confides of his peaceful home on Kashyyyk for the hustle and bustle of Coruscant. It had been no time before the Wookiee had found work. He had made some friends the first couple of weeks in the city and they help him. It was a small business ran by a couple of Beskalisk brothers. They were considerably older than Tam, so he did most of the heavy lifting and repairs. They did not speak Shyriiwook, so the protocol droid got use.
As they years went on the brothers began to trust Tamak more and more. They would live him in charge of the store when they would go on trips to Ojom. This gave the Wookiee confidence in his work. While the brothers were away one time, a Rodian came in looking for trouble. He was accusing Tam of not fixing his speeder correctly. Out or anger the Rodian fired a shot that singed Tamaks fur, not happy he hit the green reptile and sent him through the glass window. The police became involved and the verdict was that the Rodian shot first.
In the 30th year of Tamaks life the brothers decided that they wanted to retire from the business of repair and rejoin the family on Ojom. Though this didn't mean that Tamak was out of a job, this meant that he was going to acquire the shop from them. They were impressed with the work that he had done over the years and knew he deserved it. Finally he had reached the big times, he could call himself a business owner.
Several boring and uneventful years went by, many people didn't work out in the shop. Though one did work out, a human by the name of Dryen Tyms. The human was no older than 18 but showed great potention. Tam taught the boy a lot of what he new and the older wiser Wookiee also learned some different techniques. It was now entering his 34th year and he missed home even more, he had gotten transmissions but that wasn't the same.
At this time in his life Tamak had met a lot of different people. Some that wanted to screw him over and others that were fairly decent people. Since he had worked in the shop he met civilians to Jedi and even some Senators aids and assistance, would frequent his shop just to say hi or to pick up a part. Most of all was the Wookiees that would bring letters from his family and clan members. He vowed one day to return to Kashyyyk and visit his family.

"Good morning, sir" The gold protocol droid said as he walked out of the back room. It was a typical day in Coruscant, people busy out side scurrying along on there way to their daily routine. The Wookiee turned and let out what sound like growls and purrs to a person that didn't speak Shyriiwook. <Did you get Dryen his schedule?> The droid shimmied and shuffled to turn to looked at the hairy creature. "Yes I did, he will be there when you get there."
With a small growl with approval Tamak motioned for the droid to come with him. Walking out the door ducking and grabbing the vest his father had given him. The doors of other worlds weren't made for seven foot people. The vest hung out of his left hand as he made it across to the shuttle to take him and the droid. Reaching the shuttle ducking once again they entered and found a seat. Sitting with his knees almost in his chest, he thought that it was almost time for him to build or buy a vehicle of his own.
The shuttle reached their destination quickly, exiting it he could spot Dryen sitting on the ground fiddling with something. As they got closer they could make out that it was a arm from a protocol droid. The C2-N3 series droid nicknamed Clarence, looked down and wasnt phased by what he saw, he had been work with them for along time. Dryen spited his boss and stood, speaking in a friendly voice."Hello sir, I found this in a dumpster this morning on the way here. I was thinking it would work for Senator Gaarbaccas droid" Tam nodding in agreement, he unlocked the shop and enter to started the day.
