"The Will of the Force...?"
This was Argon's first response when confronted with the body that lay on the ground. It was the mayor of the town of Trendi, on Naboo of all places.
The mayor--someone by the name of Yelm Hochan--has been assassinated. Nobody knew why--he had been extremely popular. Nobody had any suspects. The evidence was scarce.
There was only one thing known-it looked like a lightsaber wound...
A police officer approached Argon.
"Can you tell us anything?" "Not right now! Be patient."
Argon wasn't sure if he could be of service at all, actually. He was a Guardian, a warrior, not an investigator. He wasn't sure why the Council had chosen him for the mission, but they had, and he he had to follow the decision.
Hey, I like challenges. I can do this.
Besides, a detective was coming. And Argon would need all the help he could get...

Naraka was enjoying herself at the moment, in a rare bit of recreation. It wasn't intimacy, or even a total immersion in nature; it was simply sitting at a table under an umbrella on a street corner, sipping iced tea like an ordinary person.
It was a very temperate day in Naboo, the town of Trendi to be exact, and Naraka didn't at all look like a Sith who'd just assassinated the mayor. Instead she was wearing a sundress in a merry yellow and white pattern, her bare feet resting lightly on the leg of the table beneath her. Across from her was a nice young local woman asking questions about Shili.
"That's a good question Stinara, the educational system on Shili is very different from Naboo," Naraka sipped her tea, running a slender finger across the condensation on the glass.
The Togruta woman's dark eyes scanned the crowd, as her mind focused in on the Force signature she could sense. She'd been following it for a while now, and she deduced it was a Jedi sent to apprehend her. To be honest, she wasn't really looking forward to killing him.
Then again, maybe she didn't have to. Perhaps he'd be stumped, and she could move on to the next target, the real target.
The human woman at the other side of the table didn't know, but she was sitting with a Sith who planned to kill her Queen in two days.
"I was raised in a remote tribe, so I didn't see the system in Corvala. I learned artisanal trades, my family worked with leather you see, so I worked with it as well."
Naraka kept up her warm smile, as casual as could be.

Another rock floating in space, this one was different. Most planets he had been to were quite urbanised and stuffed to the girders with filth. Naboo was different. It was peaceful and clean. The people were affectionate and cultured. Why he was here made no sense.
A few days ago, he was told to come here and await further instruction. Most of the time he refused contracts that weren’t specific unless he knew who the employer was. If he was given a bad deal, he made it up with the employer. He didn’t know who was contacting him, but the credits were right. He was offered enough credits to upgrade a ship. Something wasn’t right. This was an unusual and dangerous assignment. Then again, it had been a while since he had a challenge.
A secretive employer and a vague contract on a planet mostly peaceful had dirty business written all over it. A message alerted him to information that would be delivered to him shortly after processing. Again, he was blurring the line between good and evil. Either way, it was about the money. The mandalorian had figured life out already at his young age. You’re a slave to money and then you die. There was no change, only cycles.
He sat in a pub enjoying his usual indulgence sticking to the dark corners. It was unsettling to see a mandalorian here. Where a mandalorian walked, death was sure to follow. His people had a reputation even if most of them didn’t live up to it anymore. Still, he kept to the side, out of the view of commoners. He wasn’t told to be stealthy, but causing mayhem wouldn’t help him do his job. Not this time.
His data pad flashed as it began to open an encrypted message. Someone died. This time he was playing god instead of devil.

The long trip from Coruscant to Naboo, it was a Trip that once he heard he would be taking, Aldric Cibre despised long before he even saw the shuttle he would be travailing on. He had been asked to travel to Naboo for the simple reason that anyone who knew Aldric could anticipate, to solve a crime, more namely a Murder; the Murder of a Mayor, Aldric always seemed to be dealing with higher ups, Senator Beluga, Haust the owner of a Hotel and casino, Doctor Tolms of Bas'ker halls, and now a dead Mayor.
By the time he arrived at the small town outside of Thead he had ran out of Crackers and Ginger drinks that he used to calm his motion sickness, so no sooner then he got off the shuttle did he find himself stumbling over to the corner of a alley way...
A hacking sound could be heard, the sound of a man loosing his lunch. Aldric eventually stood straight, stomach wheezing as he did so. He sighed and groaned as he walked off. Only a few minutes past before his stomach felt mostly better.
Aldric stood at the corner of the towns center square, holding a piece of paper, something not many people used, yet for him it felt a bit more natural to hold paper over a Data pad. He stood reading the Address for the first time, he hadn't even opened the envelope until he landed on Naboo.
After locating where it was, he began his long walk to another alley roughly 4 blocks from where he started. There police stood, Orange tape blocked off the crime scene and said "CRIME SCENE, DO NOT CROSS LINE!" in three different languages. Aldric lifted the tape with a finger and bent down crossing the line, he was stopped by a Pantoran Cop, "ID!" The blue skinned man said demanding, Aldric reached into the Envelope and pulled out a small white badge that had Aldric's name a picture plastered onto it, with "Visitor" Posted at the bottom, the Pantoran moved out of the way speaking as he did so, "Good, they've been waiting for you!"
Aldric moved to the center of the crime scene taking a quick glance around before even saying a thing to the Jedi in the center sitting above the former Mayor.
Most of the buildings had windows, but also not quite placed where the murder would have been easily visible. There was a Balcony in the back of a Hotel that would have been the best bet for getting into and out of the alley without being seen, if that was the killers goal.
Aldric now turned to the fact the Jedi was involved, that meant Sith or Dark Jedi involvement was suspected. Aldric was already had enjoyed the case right up to that point. The last two cases he had taken had involved a force user as the suspect, granted only one of them turned out that way though.
Aldric knelt over leaning on one Knee looking at the former Mayor, Aldric looked at the body before speaking out loud in his quick manner that he normally did so, The cut starts at his right hip and comes up to the bottom of the left of his chest, that means the killer is was using his or her right hand. Aldric imagined the man if he was standing where he was killed, from where the strike began and ended he could almost determine the height of the person who had made the strike, He took the strike added couple of feet for the murderers Arm length before speaking again, I'd say the killer is around 5 feet, 8 inches, give or take a couple, and then the biggest fact i pick up on.
Aldric said looking at the lightsaber wound, something he found as odd, not because the killer was a Saber wielder, but because they actually used it. Now he slowed his speaking pace, Who ever they are they used the light saber without a care, this mean one of two things: First he or she used their lightsaber because they are over confident in their ability to hide, or second, they used the lightsaber because he or she is hiding in plain sight. Aldric turned to the Jedi who was in charge, Sorry i couldn't contribute more... He said realizing that the Jedi likely had his name, but Aldric didn't have the name of the Jedi. And who are you?
