I have a few questions. Sorry if I missed out when these were discused.
The world is it a homebrew or part of the 5e playtest - I checked the Wiki and I'm not familiar with it.
What character classes are available - again if it is the 5e playtest I haven't checked it out yet.
Is there a specific classes you want in the game, e.g, defender, striker, controller ect?
Do you want us to send you the filled in character sheet or post it somewhere.
Could you maybe link the 5e playtest documentation here.
Thanks.

You can get all the latest 5e documentation there. I will not be looking for any party make-up specifically, nor will I disallow any character class. Whatever ya'll wanna play mechanically is fine with me. 5e thus far does not have a solid world, and I'm something of a whore for homebrewing. The Wiki is what I have of the homebrew so far- if you'd like to add something to the world yourself, by all means post it here and I'll shoehorn it into the Wiki. You can attach your finished character sheets here, as it looks like the new ProBoards finally lets you do attach files to posts. Which is great. Hope that helps!

The character I'm making is basically a "Dark" Cleric, she basically serves a Death God (Reaper), and didn't notice there was an established pantheons really, and since there seems to be a kinda' Nordic slant to it, decided to just use the Norse death goddess Hel as my Clerics pantheon. Was wondering if that was cool? Or if you want to do alter Hel's mythos and whatnot to fit more the vision you have for your campaign, you won't hear any complaints from me. Or if you already have a "death god" pantheon/religion in mind, then just give me a heads up and I'll alter my char's stuffs to make it work.

Nothing is wholly established, but I like the idea of a god of Death.
Take a gander at the wiki and tell me if you like what I've got- check 'Hel' under 'Divinity'.

I downloaded the 5e stuff and will take a look at it as soon as possible. Are the core classes in the playtest the only options we have though? I was thinking more like a bard(skald) or shaman type character after Aphillis' mention to the Norse feel of the world? Pretty nice 'homebrew' setting by the way.

Well there's the core classes, but within there's specializations and background set ups which allocates various skills and feats for your characters. Like, I went with a kinda "warrior priestess" utilizing primarily dark divinity spells as she serves a death goddess. The standard domains (in the case of the Clerics), specialties and backgrounds weren't exactly to my liking, but there were a couple I thought if tweaked a little would fit. And the 5e does allow for customizing specialties and backgrounds (and Cleric domains have been customizable/tweakable for as long as I can remember), and so that's exactly what I did, I customized my own specialties and backgrounds to fit more in line with the play style I was seeking.
If you want a more Shaman type character, take a gander at the Stormbringer Domain for the Cleric class, and then go through the backgrounds and specialties, a customized background that's some of a cross between the Priest and the Wanderer would befit a Shaman sort.
But also, there's always multi-classing as well to further customize your character to how you want them to play out.

As 5th edition is still a playtest, it does not have any classes in it beyond those in the packet. The barbarian is the newest class.
That said, I think your best bet for a Druid/Shaman character is probably a Cleric. You could also reflavor a Wizard to get the 'Nature' bent. A Wizard with the 'Hedge Magician' specialty might not be far off from a Druid, as you'd get Herbalism and a animal familiar.
Now, a skald would be pretty easy- be a Fighter/Rogue/Barbarian/Whatever, and make a Background to match. I'd suggest looking at 'Sage' and 'Minstril' to reflect a warrior tasked with keeping alive oral traditions or somesuch.
If you meant Bard a la previous editions, sadly you're out of luck. They've not yet tackled that class for this playtest packet.
Anyway, I hope that helps.

Double Post!
I probably should've mentioned this earlier, but I have a strict policy against Evil alignment PC's in my campaigns. Namely, I don't allow them. Long story short, I have yet to run a campaign where having Evil PC's did not cause more trouble than fun.
There are no exceptions to my policy, I'm sorry.

Hrmm, I'll probably have to go through all the documents in the playtest more thoroughly. I like both your suggestions for possible shaman and skald builds. Give me a day or two to come up with a character.
Non-evil charaters are fine with me. I prefer neutral to good.
