This is my first Character
Name: Ian Graven
Race: Human (Naboo)
Age: 25
Height: 5'11''
Weight: 165 lbs
Birth place: Theed, Naboo
Appearance: Ian is a slim figured man, with a saddened look in his blue eyes. His hair is often cut down very short, and is brown. Ian wears typical clothes of a middle-class Naboo man, and only dresses up for business matters.
Personality: Ian is the kind of guy that helps others with their problems, but often leaves no time to help himself, which causes emotional troubles at times. He is a people-person, and loves to make others happy. He was taught by his mother at a young age that helping others is the best thing you can do. He follows this belief, and gives his all to assist those he can. He really doesn't have an interest in politics, but does tend to favor policies that allow the most freedom to individuals. He is wary of the Sith for that reason. He is a natural enemy of people that abuse friendships to get what they want. He also tends to be very tolerant of alien races, and a few of his best friends are actually Gungans and Twi'Leks.

Rank:Enterprise Owner and Chief Officer of The Theed Connection

Attributes:
Physical Strength: 5
Intelligence: 7
Speed: 5
Leadership: 6
Unarmed: 2
Melee Weapons: 3
Ranged Weapons: 5
Bio:Born in Theed to a middle class family, Ian Graven grew up as a typical Naboo boy. He attended school, where he was bullied as a child, but in his teen years he gained popularity for his ability to talk to people. The bullying made him humble, and taught him that prideful people are jerks. He promised himself to never be like that.
It was in his teenage years that he began to understand how to talk to pople. No longer was he an outcast. Instead, he was a charismatic young man who could sell an idea to anyone, but a noble lad who never took advantage of people's feelings.
He never had a girlfriend, although it was rare to see him without a girl or two hanging out with him. That's just the kind of guy he was. He was always there for people when they needed a friend, and never took advantage of those in emotional distress.
He learned a lot about dealing with people while getting into public service, an activity many Naboo youth take part in.
However, he never got interested in politics like many of his peers. His passion was business. This was a dream he could fulfill when his wealthy grandfather passed away when Ian was 19. He used the small fortune he inherited to purchase his own ship, start a small business of trading, and hired some old friends to help.
The Theed Connection grew quickly into a great business of Trading just about any legal item that needed to be traded, specializing in goods from Naboo.
Bu it wasn't always this big. The Theed Connection began with a single man, a small store, and a XS Freighter. In a relatively short time, he used his business skills, his charisma, and his inheritance to gain connections, hire help, and expand to other worlds. The company has at last one store in every major human settlements on Naboo, as well as a store on every planet he trades with (several planets in the Chommell sector, and many Mid Rim planets, as well as Tatooine and Coruscant). Ian still runs the "capital store" in Theed with the help of some droids and a few friends. He runs the entire business, but still finds the time to do the dirty work, making runs to planets for transport, and to open new stores personally.
He has personal contacts in Coruscant, and visits there often for unique supplies that set his stores apart from others. He also has contacts in several neighboring worlds to Naboo, and The Theed Connection operates a store on each of them.
Today, he lives a semi-successful life, and the war is proving to be a good money-maker for him for the time being. He currently lives alone in Theed, although business often takes him to all neighboring worlds as well as Coruscant. He often has a sad look in his eyes because of his negligence towards his own personal issues of loneliness. While he has plenty of friends, he really wants love, as his parents were never home when he was growing up (they were best friends to many politicians, and thus were always at some form of party), and he never had a girlfriend before. He is young, and therefore hasn't been through very much excitement, and he hopes the war doesn't kill him or his company.
He is trained in handling blasters, as he thought it a wise idea to learn to use a weapon to better sell them to better sell them to customers and in case of pirate attacks. Luckily, no such thing has happened yet.
RP Sample:
Ian Graven turned back one final time to bid his friend farewell before leaving to Coruscant. He left for the planet every so often to get exotic goods to trade, and his friend was left behind with a protocol droid to run the store in his absence.
"Goodbye, I won't be long, but wish me luck! I never cared for Coruscant. To many politicians and criminals around for my taste. Still, the money is good, so I don't complain."
His friend simply nodded, as Ian turned around and boarded the vessel.
His droid co-pilot had already lifted off before he reached the cockpit., and with nothing to do, he began to reflect on himself.
He thought about how he lived his life to make others happy. This made him proud, but also brought to his attention that he never took the time to find himself a companion to settle down with.
'Oh well,' he thought, 'maybe there's a nice girl in Coruscant' which he knew was a lie, but it allowed him to move on.
It seemed to take longer than usual, but Ian finally arrived in Coruscant. He landed outside his Company's warhouse, where all of the exotic goods bought from travelers and even other planets were brought to await being distributed to all the Theed Connection Stores. He was greeted by the Warehouse Operator.
"Ian? Welcome back! What have you come for this time?"
"Well," Ian began, "I really need to have some exotic food for the Theed store. I seemed to have underestimated how quickly that food you gave me last time would sell in a place as unexciting as Naboo!"
The Operator ordered the labor droids to carry the food as well as a few crates of other various items aboard Ian's ship. Ian thanked the Operator, and headed for his hotel, where he would be staying for the night.
He checked in to the hotel, and then decided to treat himself to some relaxation. He risked a trip to the local Cantina, in order to have a few drinks and maybe talk to a few people.
Sitting down, he had noticed a few people getting into an argument. It was a young man and a young woman, both human, yelling at another woman, a Twi'Lek. From what he could gather, it was about a debt she owed.
Ian knew he had enough money, and went to check things out. The longer he listened, the more he understood. The Twi'Lek owed the humans money for rent, but she could not afford to pay after she lost her job and her husband had just died in the war.
Ian entered the converstion, saying "Excuse me, but perhaps I can help."
He was given doubtful looks by all three, but they felt compelled to listen anyways. "I will pay for this lady's rent and make sure she keeps a job."
"How will you do that?" The man asked.
"It's easy, I'll give her a job. She can come work for me at the Theed Connection Warehouse not far from here, or maybe at the store a little farther away?"
"Who are you? Do you own both the store and the Warehouse?" The Twi'Lek asked.
"My name is Ian Graven, and I happen to on the entire Theed Connection Enterprise. If you need a job, you got it."
"Thank you! Thank you so much!" The Twi'Lek woman said cheerfully. "Is there anyway I could work somewhere other than Coruscant? I want to start over."
"Sure!" Ian said as he handed the credits to the humans so they could leave, "You could come work in Theed. I'm always needing help in Theed."
The Twi'Lek smiled, "That would be great".
The two stayed at his hotel for the night, and Ian was glad to have the company, even if he did give up his bed for her to sleep in. The next day, they boarded the ship, and made way back to Naboo. Ian was happy, and he had a feeling that this Twi'Lek girl could end up being more than just an employee.
