(((Hope you can work with this; I moved them ahead a bit. I figure after your next post, we can get them going towards a chapel/thing to get rolling along.)
Pak was overflowing with relief at this unexpected and pleasant surprise, wanting to disbelieve his good fortune. He softly fingered her hair as he continued to embrace her, not wanting to let go in fear that she might not be real. The Balosar pilot had thought he would never see the Miraluka woman again, in fact thought she was no longer among the living. From the moment he had first laid eyes on her, everything had changed for him; the sight of Shenhua had made him want to consider a lifestyle alteration. However, before he had been able to voice these desires or even fully consider them, she had disappeared, presumed KIA.
But now here she was, in his arms, over a year later! And there was so much to say, so much to catch up on, so much he wanted to know about the woman who had stolen his heart. Instead, Shen seemed to have something else entirely on her mind, and Pak was all too happy to accommodate her; he had been waiting so long for this. Every time he had seen her, he had imagined what it would be like, promised himself it would be very different than any of the others he had been with in his carefree life before the Miraluka had entered into it.
She gently lifted up his head to look him straight on and smiled that beautiful smile that had melted him so long ago. Promised him that this time she was staying and then kissed him, fondly and deeply. He heard and perceived so much in those words and that contact, more than she had actually said aloud, the hallucinogens in his system giving him false truths. Foremost in his mind was her declaration of love for him in these gestures. Pak felt like he was weightless, floating out in space, and he didn't want to be anywhere else.
Without a whole lot of urging, his body responded immediately to this physical touch from the red-haired woman, whom he thought was Shenhua but was in actuality Sterina, distorted reality from the death sticks working in his bloodstream. He kissed her back in kind, his arms going more tightly around her as she held him closer to herself. They were pressed up against each other in the tight confines between the seat and the table, and he could feel her through both sets of clothing, fingers digging into her hair. Pak's antennapalps were throbbing with the sensations they were getting from the woman, mixing with his own. The Balosar was in heaven and wasn't about to leave anytime soon.
Until a not-so-discreet being cleared his throat above them. "Excuse me." Keeping his mouth locked upon Shenhua's, Pak opened his eyes and saw a hulking figure through the rainbow-colored haze that inhabited the space around them. He squinted and tried to focus, finally having to pull away from Shen/Sterina; a scarred Chev was standing there beside their booth, a very unhappy look on his face and a big pipe-looking thing in his fist. "Yer making the people here want to vomit and leave. Missus Gasik don't like that." Pointedly, he slapped the weapon against his free palm. "If you get my meanin'."
The Balosar grinned at the Chev, still riding the waves of elation from the drug he was on, not to mention what he and Shen/Sterina had been so recently doing or about to do. "Sure, sure... we were just thinking of blowing this joint for somewhere more private." Pak glanced back at his female companion. "Weren't we, babe?" He pulled a couple more coins out and dropped them on the table; though he had already more than paid for all their drinks, a few more credits to smooth things over wouldn't be unappreciated by the ownership. "So sorry for the trouble, sir."
Pacified for the moment, the big alien nodded to them and stepped to the side to allow the couple to exit out of the booth. Pak put his arm casually around Shenhua and then winked at the Chev before they threaded their way back through the crowded cantina and towards the door. He was giggling at the absurdity of it all; he had been tossed out of bars plenty of times, but this was a first. The hulking being stared after them for a bit before he turned back to the table, scooped up the credits, and headed back to his post.
Once outside in the open air of Prazhi, Pak's calm and easy demeanor was replaced with a more urgent one; he led her quickly down the street, tension and interrupted passion making his movements stiff and jerky. At the first alleyway he found, he pulled her inside into the shadows. "Now, where were we?" Not waiting for an answer, he almost shoved her against the wall in his haste, simultaneously crushing his mouth against hers, one arm around her waist, the other propped against the concrete behind them, body pressed up against hers. Originally, he had thought to take her back to the Crimson Requiem, but he hadn't been able to wait.
