Taris.
Such a beautiful planet; the sight of so much death and destruction. It had been one of the Republic's jewels, before the Jedi Civil War. A powerful Sith Lord, known as Darth Malak, had completely obliterated the world, making an example out of it. It was once a city like world, however, nature was beginning too have it's way. Several different types of beasts roamed the wild now. However there was the occasional Expedition Force.
Most of them likely felt that the Republic had left them at the edge of the Universe, too fend for some long abandoned backwater planet. This couldn't be further from the truth. So much history was available too one on this planet, finding the right holo's and unraveling the right mysteries of this world could lead one too many discoveries.
After all, one of the greatest battles in Republic history took place here on this world, shown by the ruins of the great battleship; the Endar Spire. It stretched over a mile in it's resting place. Abandoned, and decrepit.
Standing in front of it, was Cassandra Novos, and alongside her was her HK, "Lucky", an HK-51 too be exact. Having been fully repaired on Tatooine; he'd been accompanying Cassandra as she journeyed the stars, seeking answers of self. Of the future, and of the past. The Jedi Code too her had grown insignificant; although she did her best too abide by it so as not too attract attention to herself anymore than she already had in recent months.
"It's been sitting here for more than three hundred years...what sort of answers do I hope to find...?" she stared up at the empty husk of a ship. As her HK looked up at it next too her, his ion rifle in hand.
"There is a 99.7% chance that this...is a waste of time." HK-51's familiar buzz of a voice chimed his two cents in, as Cassandra didn't even look at him. Her expression responded though, it drove her mad when he recounted her chances of success, although that didn't mean he'd ever stop. "Honestly, master." he started up again. "Your chances of success at finding information on the historic events surrounding this place increase significantly if you look in the Jedi Archives on Coruscant---"
"Ugh, don't you ever want too get out and get your hands dirty? Sometimes learning on site is worth a hundred lessons in school. Come on, it'll be a nice field trip of sorts." she looked too him with a fake smile. HK-51 "Lucky" seemed too somewhat process sarcasm, but didn't say anything and set off behind his master as she approached the Endar Spire. This thing was a huge a lot bigger up close than it had been even less than a mile away; with each step towards it, it seemed to grow a mile. "Alright, let's find our way in..." she scaled a few of the rocks and the forest hills of the valley it was nestled in. Eventually she came too eye level with one of the many plexy glass windows, it was practically giving in on itself already.
Reaching out with the Force, she ripped the window of the ancient battleship, as the sound of glass breaking; and then falling, filled the air. The glass bounced off of the rock, trees, and dirt below as it fell in a shower of sparkles; before it was somewhat silent again. Besides the sound of nature. With a mighty Force Leap, she front flipped into the ancient battleship; HK-51 just behind her as he landed in a mighty bend of his knees with a thud.
The hallway they'd landed in was completely dark minus the beautiful beams of sunlight being cast from outside through it's windows. Giving it a kind of shadow, filled with light feel. One could see the dust floating around in the air due too the beams of sunlight; and Cassy could make everything out around her quite well. She wondered if any of the ships records were still in place. An original viewing of anything that happened on this ship; would be a once in a lifetime opportunity too behold.
