((I know, but Feedon Nadd was first buried under the Onderonian Palace. His body was moved to Dxun, but the tomb still remains))
River had never felt so much dark side energy in one place before, it was as if the dark side had engulfed the light side energy. River looked back at Tal and said "Be prepared for anything. The Sons Of Kressh could be anywhere." Nevai took River to a secluded hallway that ended in a dead end. Looking at River, he said "This wall is fake. Push with enough force and it will move. On the otherside there is a tunnel, and that tunnel will take you to Freedon Nadd's old tomb. Go whenever your ready, this is where I must leave you. Good luck old friend." River looked at Tal and said "Are you ready?"

((Ah OK. Thank you for clarifying. )) Tal nodded, her knuckles going white on the hand that was grasping her saber. That presence... She maintained her hold on the Force, putting into effect a rudimentary breathing and concentration technique she had been taught. Concentrating on her breath, she nodded again. "I'm ready."

River raised his hand, and used the Force to push the wall, which quickly slid open to reveal a passage way. River pulled out a Holonet Transmitter, and activated it.
The Jedi Council Chambers flashed on, and the Council members sat around the circle. "What news do you have River of the Sons Of Kressh?" one of the Council Members asked. River replied quietly "I have located the secret passage to Freedon Nadd's first tomb, inside the Onderonian Palace." "River" began another Council Member "we give you permission to engage the Sons Of Kressh. If we were to send troops or other Jedi it would cause an incident. Just be careful about it."
"I will" was River's reply before shutting off the HoloNet Transmitter. Placing the transmitter away, and pulling his double-bladed lightsaber he turned back to Tal and said "It's now or never." and River began to walk down the tunnel.

Tal silently padded into the tunnel behind River. There must have been some sort of sound-proof agent on the walls, Tal decided, because their footsteps didn't echo as steps tended to do in tunnels such as this. As she walked, she considered what the council had said. Apparently, this was simply an information-gathering expedition, not anything that could cause a fight.
But then again, one never knew with Dark Jedi. Or so Tal had heard. Re-focusing her mind on the task ahead, she breathed in...and out...in...and out...

River made his way down the tunnel, and looked around, there was only one way to go. River headed down a narrow tunnel to the right, and then suddenly stopped. River felt a strong Force presense in the chamber dead ahead. It could mean only one thing, the burial chamber. It was there, River was certain they will find the Sons Of Kressh. Looking back at Tal, River said "Be prepared. I feel them in the next room."

"Yes Master." Tal murmured. She herself could feel nothing but that same, overbearing darkness. Her hand twisted slightly on her lightsaber as she shifted her grip. She was definitely not feeling good about this. But, this was what being a Jedi was all about. She pulled her robe about her shoulders more in preparation.

River peered from behind a corner, and saw three Dark Jedi huddled a large sarcophegus. One of the Dark Jedi spoke to his campanion to the right "With the power of Freedon Nadd and the ferocity of our Lord Ludo Kressh we shall resurrect a powerful Lord who shall conquer the galaxy!" River looked back at Tal and said "So that's their plan! Tal we need to stop them here. We must fight!" River ignited his double blade and then out of no where the Dark Jedi stood up and ignited their own lightsabers. The leader of the group yelled "I sense you Jedi!"

Tal swallowed, her fingers going white again as they clenched on her saber's handle. She also retreated a few steps deeper into the tunnel behind her, which had gone dark. She shrugged off the heavy encumberance which was her robe, and waited...as heavy footsteps came toward the tunnel.

(Here are your flashy NPCs, as ordered. I made them attack, but if you don't want that, tell me and I'll rework the post, but for now I've got to go.)
There was very little light in the cave, a few torches were lit, but the assembled Dark Jedi seemed not to care about the lack of visibility. It was probable that they were seeing through the Force, hence why they had been able to sense the two Jedi. Drak-Gar was furious, their ritual was almost complete, a few more minutes and the power of the Sith would be all theirs. But due to some unknown will of the force, they would have to overcome this test in order to achieve that power. He didn’t care, it would be his.
Blades ignited simultaneously around the room. The three acolytes had been quick to respond to the approaching Jedi. Their grips tightened as they reached out with the force, preparing themselves for what was coming. Drak-Gar and his Ki-Man, however, held back. Ki-Man moved to a distant corner of the room, but Drak-Gar, the towering Dark Jedi Knight, merely waited with his arms folded. This was as much of a test for his acolytes as it was for him, if they failed then it proved they were not worthy to be his pawns.
As the Jedi moved closer and into an area not too confined, they attacked. The man seemed to be powerful in the ways of the force, but hopefully they would be able to cut him down before he had the opportunity to move. Two of the acolytes attacked him, one held a single orange blade and the other a single violet blade. They tried a pincer attack, the orange bladed acolyte aimed for the left side of the Jedi’s waist, whilst the violet bladed Dark Jedi swept to decapitate him from his right. Calling upon their anger and rage like their master had told them, they twisted these emotions and turned them into power, power which burst through their legs as the started their attack and power which strengthened the muscles in their arms, making their attacks more brutal.
Meanwhile, the remaining acolyte eyed his prey; saliva seemed to be forming in his mouth as he hungered for the fight. Unable to resist any longer, he ignited his double bladed lightsaber and leapt at the Padawan, he was young himself, only sixteen, yet the training that had been drilled into him for most of his life had made him almost psychotic, the glow from the crimson blade only served to reinforce this belief.
But the girl, the young Padawan standing nervously behind her Master, he would have her taste battle, have her taste defeat and open her eyes to the power he and the Dark Side have. By the end of this their corpses would reveal how strong he had become. He made use of his double bladed lightsaber opposed to her single blade. He made two quick alternate strikes to her left torso and her right before he twirled the blade above his head briefly, building up momentum, and in a flash he brought it back down for a much more powerful attack, he hoped to beat her down with brute strength, her smaller frame, he surmised, would not be able to hold out for long.
Further back, Drak-Gar watched the fight intently, the Jedi male seemed strong, more powerful than any of the Knights he had bested previously, this may turn out to be a harder fight than he first thought. He looked towards Ki-Man, only to find him sitting upon the floor, entering his meditative state, it would take a little bit until her was done, but the acolytes would be able to provide enough of a distraction until then.

Tal saw the attack coming, outlined as clearly as if it had already happened. Not allowing herself to dwell on the fact that it was only a training blade, she swung her lightsaber up, and blocked his saber.
He spun his double saber over his head, and as he brought it down toward her, the blades humming through the air, Tal took two light steps away. A Jedi uses only defense. She never attacks except in the gravest of circumstances. the words of the master who trained the younglings came back to her.
Tal settled herself into a defensive posture, trying not to look into his eyes. Yheyseemed frenzied, full of some darkness she didn't understand. And didn't want to.
She steeled herself for the inevitable attack.

River saw two of the Dark Jedi charging him, one was aiming to decapitate him and the other aimed for his waist. River parried the one aiming for his head and Force pushed him against the tomb wall. River tried to dodge the one aiming for his waist, and succeeded but only partially, the lightsaber ripped through his Jedi robes and scorched his skin.
River used his double blade to block the attack from the Dark Jedi with the orange lightsaber, while a few feet to the right his companion was starting to stir.

(River, when you want to kill off one or both of those guys go ahead, then we can get the Knight fighting)
He was loving this, the Padawan learner seemed reluctant to attack, leaving him free to hammer her defence with assault after assault. She was taking up defence in her fortress, yet the fortress would only be able to last so long, eventually the walls would begin to crumble, to fracture. And when they did, his double bladed saber would be there to exploit that weakness and tear the wall down. He moved towards her, spinning his saber with both hands, he frequently switched the side of his body he was rotating in, left, right, left right, he moved to mow down his opponent as he got into the rhythmic pattern.
Then, with a burst of strength, he kicked off the floor, spun in the air, and came to land with a powerful strike to the left side of her torso. As he attacked, he called upon the force, bending it to his whim, fuelled with the rage and anger in his heart he felt the power coarse through his body, amplifying his strength. He wanted to see if her young muscles would be able to resist such strong attacks.
Meanwhile, the other two acolytes were having trouble overcoming the Jedi’s double bladed lightsaber. Currently the owner of the dark orange lightsaber was trying to overcome his defence, with no success, he launched attack after attack, yet he couldn’t spot an opening. He persisted nonetheless, waiting for his fellow acolyte to rejoin the fight.
With a shake of his head, his sense of vision began to return to him. As they had attacked, he, the owner of the violet lightsaber, had quickly been parried and his head all too quickly was smashed into the tomb wall. Rock was not a comfortable cushion, he had derived, in fact the hard impact had distorted his vision for a few vital minutes already. His partner was trying to hold his own, yet if he didn’t return to the fray, then his fellow acolyte would quickly be overwhelmed and defeated.
Struggling to concentrate, he tried to muster all of the strength through the Force that he could, and when read he jumped and kicked off against the cave wall. The push against the wall and been full of compressed Force power, he had kicked with all his might, the Force had increased the strength of the kick several times over, the rock had been ruptured a bit. And now the violet lightsaber wielding Dark Jedi was now soaring through the air towards River. He slashed up with his saber; hopefully the awkward attack would catch the Jedi unaware.
Drak-Gar watched, unfazed by the whole scene. He looked off quickly to one side, it wouldn’t be long now, it was almost time.

Tal swung her saber to block his thrusts. As she blocked his last, particularly vicious attack, her training saber sparked, sending what felt like a hot needle driving into her hand where a spark had landed. She flinched, but kepthold of the handle.
She was beggining to feel worn out. Exhausted. And despite every lecture she had been given on the fact that Jedi feel neither pain, nor hunger, nor exhaustion, Tal knew that if she were back in the temple, bed would be the first priority.
But she wasn't in the temple. And that wasn't a training room, or the simulator, orthe archives. This was real. And all at once, the agricorps didn't sound half-bad. In fact, she'd much rather be picking raw topatoes in the outer rim than be here. She firmly brought her mind back to the fight. And the crazy-man fighting her.

As the Dark Jedi both began to charge him, River parried one and then quickly thrusted one half of his double-bladed saber into the chest of one of the Dark Jedi. When the one he had just struck collapsed dead, his companion gave a roar of fury and began to angrily attack River with powerful strikes. River blocked one particularly fierce hit, and then used the Force to shove the Dark Jedi against a wall of the tomb. The Dark Jedi impacted with a sickening crunch and collapsed on the ground, not to move anymore.

Even against the tenacious torrent of treacherous attacks the recently appointed Jedi Padawan was managing, just about, to defend against her much larger and stronger opponent. It was quite apparent of their difference in experience; the acolyte had faced life and death combat before, that was certain. However, Talarian was fresh out of the Jedi Temple and the steep learning curve from classroom sparring sessions to life risking combat was one which took a long time to get used to. But she was climbing there. Her defence had held against the numerous and violent attacks.
And now things turned. He had been too confident, too sure of his strength with the blade and in the Force. It was a foolish mistake, one for which his master would most surely scorn him, providing he survived of course. Because now he was tiring and a rapid rate, the strength drained from him like water from a tap, and the Force flowed away with it. Exerting so much strength he had now left himself at the mercy of the Jedi Padawan’s counter attack. Which came now as she attacked with strikes of her own, they were not as strong as his hand been, but they were both swift and accurate and his encumbered movements were starting to fall behind hers. He was shocked, for so long his Master had taught him the strength of the Dark Side, shown powers that left the acolyte both awed and amazed. He’d spoken of how weak the Jedi were and how the Dark Side would knock them aside as if they were merely flies. Yet here he stood, on the verge of defeat to, what he pretty much saw as, a child. Not only that, but his fellow acolytes lay dead, defeated with such ease by the other Jedi. His master had lied.
Feeling the weakening blocks of the Dark Jedi, Talarian decided to make her move, getting in close to the acolyte she brought he blade down in his hand, the training saber scorching the flesh. In response, the acolyte’s hand lurched open in pain, his saber falling to the floor. Following up with this, Talarian to a step out to the side and struck her opponent behind the knee, he collapsed to the floor. She pointed her blade at him, and carefully picked up his lightsaber from the floor, just in case. She had won, and there had been no bloodshed.
River had managed to take down the two acolytes with ease, he was on the Jedi High Council for a reason, two young Dark Jedi shouldn’t pose any problem for him. But now there was a new enemy for him to face, the master of the entourage. Drak-Gar stepped forward and entered his low stance, igniting the two blades of his double-bladed lightsaber; it was a deep crimson red and dripped with a bloodthirsty hue. They jumped into combat, exchanging blows, blocks and parries. River slowly began to gain the upper hand, pushing back the Knight. Until the Dark Jedi sat quietly in the corner of the crypt finished his preparations and connected with Drak-Gar. It was moments like this the Knight was glad to have such a loyal friend as Ki-Man, the gift he had was one which had saved them both from many dangerous foes.
Force Meld, an ability which could heighten the senses and increase the strength of users in the Force. As their minds connected, Drak felt rejuvenated and many times stronger that he had before. Jumping back from the combat he let burst a large and powerful burst of Force Lightning. River leapt to the side, avoiding the large and seemingly uncontrolled blast. The lightning hit the walls and ceiling where River had once been standing, and as the Dark Jedi laughed in glee at the sensual power he now possessed. Had he been paying more attention he would have noticed the rocks in the wall and roof chip and crack until they began to fall to the ground in large chunks.
As the stability of the tomb began to falter, the room they were in began to shake. Sensing the collapse of the tomb, River turned to Talarian and yelled “Tal, go! Run to the ship now and don’t look back! I will be right behind you!” Although she wanted to stay, as a Youngling she had been taught to follow orders given by senior Jedi and her Master was most certainly included in that. So she turned and ran for the exit, her opponent now too weak to try and attack her from behind.
As she ran up the narrow passage which led to the surface, Talarian stopped and looked behind, only able to flashes of lightning and lightsabers; she was torn between following orders and going to the aide of her master. But then, the cave inevitably began to collapse and no matter how fast she may have moved, it wasn’t fast enough to reach the chamber before the entrance collapsed in upon itself. She tried in vain to move the huge rocks which blocked the way, but they were too large, too heavy, she was too weak to move them with either her body or the Force.
No side came from the other side, if there was another side. She wouldn’t know if the tomb had collapsed upon itself completely or if there were just too many rocks in the way for her to hear anything. As time slowly ticked by, it dawned on her there was nothing she could do. And with no hint from the Force as to River’s fate, it dawned on her that there was nothing more she could do here. She’d follow his orders though as they may have been his last. With remorse and a saddened heart, she made her way to their ship and accessed the auto pilot. Setting a return journey from the co-ordinates already in the ship, Talarian returned to Coruscant, alone.
