I'm not entirely sure, but here's my understanding: Members who have been around a while, know their material, and show exceptional posts (very often former staff) can signal their desire to an administrator, and then they will decide if a promotion is possible.

Thanks for the information. I'll keep pushing on and try to achieve those things, if not more. I'll get back to working on my application. One more question, what planets would have the highest likelihood for a Human force-sensitive child to be found and recruited from by the Jedi academy?

On all Republic worlds blood tests are done at birth in a hospital to determine force sensitivity, the Jedi are notified, and they ask the parents to give up the child.
As a side note, there isn't really a 'Jedi Academy,' per se. Just different Temples and enclaves.

Thanks. Sorry for the wrong term, I was thinking Sith Academy because it also has to do with my character's bio. Thanks again.

Question of medical nature....How advanced is cloning body parts?
I'm needing Mod or Admin help with this.
As a healer knowledge is Key to sucess in a good thread. Besides further healer knowledge is needing base lines to continue. Adding to guidlines might help with those that come after who want to be healers or of any healing processes.

Vrikstar: Just stick around and be an active member of the community. There'll likely be an opportunity for you to become an RP Mentor if you wish. If it's at moments like now when the RPMs are kinda busy with RL then those are good times to pitch an interest to a member of the RPMs (such as myself) or the admins. But as you're new we would like to see you RPing and such around here first.
Foxfire: At a guess, given then canon, I'd say cloning body parts isn't very far along at all, probably less so than regular cloning is. I mean, the amount of times you see characters with cybernetic arms to replace old ones is huge. I don't really recall an instance of them using cloning to replace a limb, though I could be mistaken.

I imagine so Agent, but you could ask Jenno to be sure.
And Reven, yes, this is possible.

Lets say that you plan on using a stock ship from wookiepedia and the only thing you want to change is the color of the ship. Would you still need need to register it?

Sorry about all of these questions, but this will be the last one. Does the ranged weapons affect you ability to fire a ship's weapons?

So, I was looking for some perspective outside of the wiki. Sometimes things just click for me more when I hear someone explain it.
What exactly makes someone a grey jedi? I've been plotting through the bio for a character I'm working on and I've realised that I've not really found an exact thing that says "I am grey because....."

A grey jedi, as we handle them, is just any independent Force user that's not a Dark Jedi. Not a Sith, not a Jedi, not fallen to the Dark Side. If your character fits into that, they're a grey jedi, as we define them.

This is just a curiosity. How are nagai canon in this time period? The only thing I've read is they didn't leave their galaxy until about 4 aby via help from lumiya.

So, the cbox likes to eat names. When myself as well as some newcomers enter our profiles and passwords into the "profile" portion, we are told the profile is invalid. How can this be fixed?
