Ezra has long shoulder length blue hair with bright blue eyes. His skin is normal and only has a scar over the left side if his lips. His outfit consists of a black long sleeved top with a light blue vest. He has a pair of leather fingerless gloves and a pair of blue and black goggles that always sit on his head. Over his torso is a black belt. His pants are black with a black belt. His boots are also Black With blue laces. His ears have three piercings two near the top and one in the normal spot. he also has an earpiece in his left ear that helps him hear.

Personality:  

Ezra is a bit quiet at time and likes to keep to himself but still enjoys having his Astromech by his side.He has a soft heart and loves people but he is also shy in large groups of people. Honesty his his best quality as he will never lie about anything. His worse quality would be that his is reckless. he is afraid of not being accepted and losing his only friend. Deep down he is a very friendly person who loves people and likes to help others.

Bio:

**years 1 - 4** 

Ezra was born on a cold Stormy night,his parents were worried about him because he did not cry or make any sound until a few days latter. after that he would not stop crying, it was found he had an ear infection. It got better after they took him to a Medic but it came back not long after, And it seemed worse this time round. After this ear infection Ezra lost the ability to hear in his left ear.by this time he was only a year old. He had his fathers blue green eyes and his mothers sandy blond hair. But despite the hair he was the spitting image of his father. He was a very quite infant and did not do much nor did he ever really cry unless he was hungry. by year 3 he started making more sounds as he was trying to speak but it won't until he was 4 that he actually spoke his first true word which was his own name. it was also at this age then his force abilities began to show, and after some convincing by his Uncle whom was a Jedi he took Ezra in to be raised and trained as a Jedi as well. 

**years 5 - 7** 

Though because of his weak immune system he was sheltered a little more so Ezra never had friends. Which made him kinda shy and quiet So he got by by making up his own. one of the Orders astromech droid started hanging around Ezra. which helped with his shyness and helped him become a more open person. Ezra named the Droid Skips because his chirps sounded like a Skip in music, or a computer skipping from some malfunction. The two became fast friends and started doing everything together. except for when he was training. As time passed the two were always finding trouble whatever they did, be it just an argument between them which normally ended in something getting broken or just sneaking off after being told countless times not to. though this was all in good fun and was never anything bad.Once when the two snuck outside ezra ended up tripping over the droid and ended up breaking his arm.It took longer for his arm to heal than normal. Though many times over he got into trouble for something he always told the truth and took what ever punishment he got, which was mostly getting locked in his room. But deep down despite the isolation Ezra enjoyed his life and would not trade it for anything. Even if that meant having real friends and not some crazy Droid. But the bond between Ezra and skips was strong and he would much rather have Skips then anyone else. 

**Years 9 - 14** 

Though he was slow to learn about the force he got better a time passed, he was a great student and showed great interest in what he was being taught. He was talented in telekinesis the most and as he got better would annoy Skips by moving him ever so slightly. The droid never liked it when he was used for a demonstration and would protest loudly until he was put down. Though Ezra still loved to learn he had a need for adventure and sometimes would sneak off while his everyone was asleep, one of these times he meet was caught by one of the Masters and taken back to his room. Another time he snuck off and ended up dyeing his hair blue mostly because he loved the color and he never liked his sandy blond hair. Another time he snuck off in the middle of the night hoping to get a good view of the stars, and he fell asleep and did not get back until the next morning. by 16 he still loved adventure, Though he did go out a few times Ezra stuck at temple to learn more about the force.Unlike his earlier years he seemed to grasp it better and began to learn quickly.

" Skips for stars sake would you cut it out!" Ezra laughed as he pushed the white and teal astromech away from him. " I know i promised you an oil bath but I want to practice right now" He was responded to by a series of squeaks and beeps as if the little droid was throwing a fit. " Ok ok! Fine your win!" Ezra said throwing his hands up " But don't say i never did anything for you!" he laughed as he ran a hand threw his long blue hair. After he leaped down from his bunk bed and stretched his arms. Picking up his goggles he pulled them onto his head and patted Skips on the head " Lets go buddy i'll race yeah!"  He said before taking off.

Hey Ezra! Welcome to SWU. I'm Moonfire one of your happy moderators to do a review of your character. I wanted before I got started on this baby to give you the option of looking over some similiarly aged characters. While being a 14 year old Padawan gives you a short lifespan to cover, theres still lots of experiences and life that can be expressed in more than one paragraph.

Hey Ezra!

Welcome to SWU it is always good to see new peeps raring to get out into the universe and writing with the rest of us! I am sure we will see some awesome stories from your character.

I just wanted to give a couple of pointers which will help speed along the approval process for your application. Firstly you mix up your style (although this might be because like me you copy and paste from Word and doing that does weird things), for example you have centred your Appearance paragraph but aligned to the left your personality section. Now this isn’t necessarily a major thing but it can be jarring for someone reading the bio and people will be reading your application even after its approved, people threading with you will visit here a lot, so it is best to make as easy to read as possible.

Secondly I wanted to add on to what our awesome mod Moonfire said about adding more. If you check out this approved application of a character just one year older than yours will see there is quite a fair bit of detail there. Obviously every application is different and reflects your own style but it is critical to give as much detail as you can. Also think back to when you were a teenager you will remember that years seemed longer then, more things happened, and the littlest things seemed massive and important – and frankly were. It seems counterintuitive at first glance but the first decade or two of someone’s life will inevitably have more in them then any years that follow – we are defined by our earliest memories, there is that old saying that you can judge almost any book by its first chapter and it holds true for people too.

You actually have a lot in your two paragraphs that can be used to build up, the loss of hearing in one ear for instance: how did he adapt to it? Did it change how he thought about himself, children tend to think they are invincible a weakness can make them rethink that. Or his social isolation how did that affect him? We are social creatures and crave interactions to be denied that can change us, even if we do sneak off. Those are just two examples from your two paragraphs that can be developed into whole paragraphs themselves.

I am excited to see where you take this character, and look forward to perhaps having a thread or two with you once it’s approved! So give that app I linked a look over, and take Moonfire up on her offer if you need it she is amazingly helpful – and I am also here if you need a hand.

Edited, and if i can i would much rather keep my history as short as i can.. I get really stressed out when making long histories for my chars in turn makes me very angry.. Hope its ok now.. I do ten to work on my bios over time so that history more than likely will get better.


and the reason behind the picture i had was i actually made that in a game because i had no other way to show how he looks i cant find any other picture so i just took it off.

Hey Ezra, after some deliberation with the staff, Anime pictures are most certainly allowed! Though appearance wise I would say that a human can't have naturally blue hair. If you explain that it's dyed and give proper motivations for why I have no problems there.

Though I still am a bit wary about tearing into this application. You've only got two paragraphs for a 14 year old lifespan. 14 years is a long time, I'm positive you can expand in a bit more depth on Ezra's life experiences.

Hey Ezra,

Hope your week has been going well, but let’s get to reviewing shall we so that you can get out and about on SWU soon!

I will begin by saying something that every app can do with (even my own) always read over things and correct grammar and spelling errors where you see them. We are all human so will miss things but it doesn’t hurt to give things another read over.

Race, Age, Height, & Weight are all okay no changes needed.

Appearance is solid, but if you wanted to you could add a bit about more than just his physical look. You mention later that he is shy, does that give him a sort of awkward shuffle as he tries to disappear or is he light on his feet? Things like that as appearance is more than just how someone looks or dresses, it is also their mannerisms and style. But yes a solid paragraph here.

Personality is short but sweet, and you do show that he is not perfectly good or entirely evil. What I would say though try not to think of attributes as binary things that are good or bad, but rather as things that are a mixture of both. You say honesty is his best quality and he never lies, but can this not also be a bad quality? Saying something true can put yourself in danger, or offend or hurt others, etc. Same with recklessness it may be a bad thing but can’t it also be at times decisiveness? If you look at the parts of Ezra’s personality and try to explain them as being both good and bad not just one or the other your personality section will be ace.

Birthplace, Faction, & Rank are all okay. I will say that being a padawan can be restrictive at times, in terms of where you can go and what you can do, not to say don’t do it but just be aware of the in-character limitations of a padawan.

Lightsaber, and lightsaber Colour are also ace, if you want you can link to a picture of your lightsaber hilt or describe it and you can also name the crystal. No need for it but it might be something which grabs your interest.

Practiced Lightsaber Forms you are spot on in saying that he would only have Shii-Cho by this point in his training however you need to put a rating between 0 (not trained) to 5 (masterful). I would suggest a 2 or a 3 depending on how adept he is with the martial training of a Jedi.

I will come back to the Force-Sensitive Abilities or Practices, Specialised Skills, & Attributes after having gone through the bio.

Bio okay I am going to need a little clarification here before I give you a proper review of this bit. After having read through the bio it would seem to me that his parents are Jedi or at least Force adepts teaching him. Both of these situations present a problem: firstly Jedi do not have a children that are acknowledged and then raised into the Order I am afraid this will be a no go. Secondly if they are not Jedi but simply Force adepts raising him in another tradition then obviously he would not be a Jedi, and I would add that on SWU individuals must be selected by or before age 6 to join the Order.

The length of the bio is fine, I just need clarification on that particular issue before I can continue with the review. Also if you haven't do give this excellent guide by our lovely admin Dutch a look over.
