Breasts are the one of the simpler things to draw, believe it or not. You just can't make them look like circles, and the clothing has to look draped over them, unless it is sticking like effing leather. Even then, they bulge out from the clothing. You know when you go to draw the face and you use cross-lines? Try doing that, but taking where the underside of the breasts are and draw the line. And, by the way, take check where the armpits and shoulder are. They can be guides. Breasts would circle somewhat inward from the armpit. Here's a little doodle I did a couple weeks back that has a terrible coloring job but I was somewhat pleased with my ten minute drawing: i220.photobucket.com/albums/dd183/cherubfreak/gdfgf002.jpg

No offense, but your example is a prime way NOT to draw them. Both sides (top and bottom) taper at the same angle. The bottom angle should be rounder, as the fat would 'pool' at the bottom due to gravity. The top would then taper in (pulling) then out near the nipple. You are correct with clothing on the boobs though. It should hang off them like they were full masses, unless it's skin tight clothing. Remember, the breasts are fleshy, and can be pushed or formed by whatever is touching them. WARNING, BOOBS AHEAD.Ok, with that out of the way, let me whip out my pen and show you some examples. Yes, I know they're 10 second scratchings, but they give you a basic example.

As another artist, I'd also like to suggest looking at...well....quite frankly, porn. That's right. I'm telling you to go out and find porn. Drawing again and again from a real life model is the best way to go as it really helps with anatomy but since it's not often a guy can just find a chick to sit naked in his livingroom (for those who have, go you!) so porn is your next best option. Look for poses you like and just start with quick 1 to 3 minute sketches. Nothing fancy. Just force yourself over and over to practice getting down the shapes. By limiting the time you have, you force yourself to stop seeing the individual parts and start seeing the whole person as a series of shapes you have to get onto the paper quickly. The overwheming details get fuzzed out for the moment and you can really get a better feel (no pun intended) for the way the person's body is constructed. Halm is also very much right about how she draws breasts so take that knowledge and run with it. Seriously, it's a great excuse to draw boobies over and over in your sketch book without looking like a total perv. ^___^

Yes, the number one mistake that people make is they learn to draw from other drawings, without learning what real anatomy looks like. Only issue with porn is that all of the models are perfect looking, and in real life that's rarely the case. =/

I agree. Porn is great source material for two reasons. 1) The poses are actually fairly complex, and 2) It focuses on the figure itself because (most of the time) there's no clothing. If you're uncomfortable with looking at porn (which I doubt) try swimsuit models.
