Nihility Stealth Armour Stealth Suit Name • Nihility Stealth Body Glove and Helm Classification • Armour Origin • Vorpal Armaments Specifications Size • Custom fit for each user's body type and species - Height: - Width: - Length: Appearance • A body glove with several interesting features, the Nihility Stealth Armour is an unassuming piece of equipment. It is designed to fit snugly to it's wearer and, while it can be painted to the buyer's whims, it comes in grey and black off the line in the assumption the owner will be utilising it to it's full capacity. The blank, full-face helm hides the wearer's features, and the internal parts can be customised for maximum comfort of the user's needs. Function The Nihility Stealth Armour Body Glove was created to provide, first and foremost, excellence in the field of surreptitiousness. Built into the armour are a variety of stealth tech that help assist its wearer at moving unseen. The most prevalent of these is the stealth generator, bearing all the strengths and weaknesses boasted by the vast majority of its kin. Thermoguard technology built into the suit hides the wearer's heat signiture, making them virtually impossible to detect via infrared or thermal sensors and scanners. Finally, it comes equipped with visual/audio-feed disruptor worn on the forearm, which sends out an digital interference pattern that makes the user invisible to surveillance technology. This can present as a tell-tale flicker on feed screens, often mistaken as a technical glitch by observers. Prolonged usage of the disruptor can cause the other in-built tech in the armour to fail, however; if active for longer than sixty seconds, the stealth generator and thermoguard technologies will automatically deactivate, requiring the user to turn off the disruptor to reinstate their use, which can take valuable seconds in vital moments. The armour itself is made from form-fitting material that allows complete freedom of movement for the user and cushioned fabric in the hands and feet to reduce noise from movement. It also possesses plastoid plates with mesh layers on the chest, arms and legs (segmented where needed to ensure movement is still uninhibited) that provide some minor protection from energy or kinetic damage, though the armour will not stand up to moderate to heavy punishment. While offering minor resistance from heat, cold, radiation, and even void exposure, extended and harsh presentation to these hazards will still pose risks. Of note are the magnatomic grip pads in the finger/toe tips and palm/foot soles respectively. These allow the wearer to scale sheer surfaces with ease, provided that the user has the strength to lift their own weight. Excess weight can cause the pads to fail, so user's cannot carry heavy burdens while utilising this aspect of the suit. The helmet of the Nihility Stealth Armour also has several features. It provides night-vision, can be altered to allow for varying light levels for species with certain ocular sensitivities, as well as nullifying the effects of sudden changes in light to protect the user's eyes. It can also be customised to provide necessary additions for many variants of aliens to allow them comfortable usage of the armour, such as chemical inhalants for species that do not breathe oxygen. |
