Makiro scoffed at his Master’s comment, and then shook his head as he looked around the enormous cavern. Straining his eyes, he could just make out the vague silhouettes of strange objects – houses or rocks, he couldn’t tell.
“Who do you think built this, Master? Could it be whoever was following us through the Jungle?”
As if in answer to his question, a strange grunting noise sounded behind them, and Makiro spun around, only to find himself face to face with strange, reptilian alien.

((NPC post as the Humassians... aka, the Usani))
The hearders had been tracking these strangers for some time. They kept quiet and in the shadows, but it was obvious that the strangers knew they were there. So why did they not attack? The hearders did not know. But they did know that they would not suffer these strangers for long.
They moved silently along around and behind the strangers as they trecked through the wilderness and fog that was their planet. They were careful to watch, should the strangers wander too close to the underground home of their people.
Unfortunately, this was the case. The Usani hearders watched in amazement as the large, smooth rock that protected the entrance to the underground was moved without any of the strangers touching it. This action only bulstered their resolve, and so they finally revealed themselves, jumping from their cover and hissing warnings to the invaders.
Tall and reptilian, their brown skin and their scales flashed in the little light there was, as their spears were trained on the three strangers.
Eelak, the leader, moved forward. She stood tall over even the talles of the strangers, and looked at each of them carefully. You trespass strangers. Leave this place now, or you will all die!
Her words came out in her native tongue. No Usani spoke basic, and it was unlikely their own language had been translated by anyone in the republic. Few who came here survived to tell of its secrets.
((And now as Meira))
Meira continued to follow Iota and Mariko, smiling all the while at the younger's comments. But soon, they came into a strange clearing, and while the others studied a particular area, Meira was casting her senses around. She felt the anger and anxiety of their followers grow suddenly. Especially when they approached the smooth rock.
Umm, I don't know if... But it was too late. Iota had moved the rock and exposed an entrance into some kind of underground complex. Meira took a hesitant breath before turning to follow to others through the door.
Just then, their followers finally showed themselves. Spears and angry faces soon surrounded the three Jedi and Meira's hand instinctively moved to her lightsaber. However, as the natives did not attack, she instead moved her hands so that they were raised on either side of her head, indicating that she was not going to try and attack.
The one that seemed to be the leader moved forward and spoke, but Meira couldn't understand a word. her eyes looked questioning at Iota. What do we do? She whispered out of the side of her mouth.

As the reptilian being hissed at them in her strange alien language, Makiro slowly raised his hands, not wishing to be seen as a threat.
The young Jedi's brain rushed, desperately trying to think of a solution to the problem. What they needed was a way of showing that they meant no harm. Suddenly, he knew what he had to do.
Lowering his hands, he unclipped his new lightsabre from his belt. As he ignited the blue blade, the Usani jumped backwards in fear. However, Makiro's intent was anything but malicious. Slowly, carefully, he switched off the sabre and lowered the hilt to the ground. Placing it before him, he hoped that the two older Jedi would do the same.

Iota looked to Makiro as he ignited his saber, he tilted his head slightly before shaking it. He moved his attention back to the natives as he raised his hands.
"We mean no harm... we are members of the jedi order whoare also representatives of the galatic republic.." Iota's words carefully thought out but possibly fell on deaf ears, He looked to Miera then back to the natives before perfomring a bow of respect and hoping the may recognise the gesture.

((NPC post. I took some liberties for the sake of moving us forward. Hopefully no one minds. If you do, let me know and I'll change what needs changing.))
Eelak snarled as her companions flinched at the young stranger's move, creating some type of light weapon. Her spear stayed trained, and she didn't move. But then the light weapon was gone and the thing tossed on the ground. She reached out with her foot and kicked it backwards, outside of the circle the hearders had made around the stranger.
As she did, one of the other strangers spoke, but his words were strange to her ears. From the other side of the group, a hearder called out to her.
Eelak, they speak like ones who have come here before. There is an elder who knows of their kind. Eelak pondered this while studying the strangers. Two male, one female. They showed respect, and seemed to be peaceful, but the Unasi knew that all outsiders were deceptive. One should not turn their back on one.
Eelak's reptilian eyes squinted slightly as she decided what to do. Take their weapons. She said, pointing at the things that made the light swords that the two other strangers had clipped to their belts. If they are so intent on poking their ugly noses around, we'll see what the Kabbatso makes of them.
With that, the hearders moved in taking the strange weapons from the three intruders. Eelak then faced the one who had spoken, drawing up to her full height and looking down on the man. With her spear, she gestured toward the door they had somehow found, leaving no mistake that the strangers were to follow, there was no other choice.
The tunnels were dark on this side, and so the hearders lit torches to light the way. It was a decently long walk, with little to see. They passed along the outskirts of abandoned cities, ones that would not be used until the planet rotated around and that area faced the sun, allowing the Lumiat to bring light to the caverns. But after some time, light could finally be seen ahead, and the group was soon at the entrance to the inhabited area of the underground maze that was home to the semi-nomadic Unasi. Eelak did not pause, however, and the strangers were forced to take in the beauty of the city on the move.
The group recieved strange stares from the residents, some stopping in their tracks to gawk at the outsiders as they paraded past. At long last, Eelak brought the group to a large building, guarded by smaller male security officers. After having a few words with one, she led them inside where they found themselves in a grand hall, the walls glinting with inlaid jewels and fine metals. At the other end of the hall sat twelve males in low chairs, six on either side to the left and right and one male on a raised chair facing the group as they entered. Eelak bowed to all of them, and the strangers were roughly encouraged to do the same.
((And now as Meira))
Meira continued to stand still, her hands raised in her gesture of peace. Her senses caught on to the anxiety of the majority of these natives, and onto the frustration of the one who seemed to be the leader. If she was right, their safety was walking a razor's edge, and any wrong move might upset their fragile situation.
Meira feared that that wrong move was at hand as Mariko grasped his lightsaber slowly, lifting it from his belt. Mariko... I don't know if... but the boy ignited the blade, startling some of the natives. Meira was about to move forward and try some damage control, but Mariko extinguished the blade and then tossed it to the ground. Meira saw the purpose of his gesture, but now his lightsaber had been kicked away from him.
Iota attempted to speak to the leader, but it was obvious his words were not understood. It did, however, seem to stir some interest, as one of the other natives spoke up and the leader seemed to be thinking. Meira did her best to resonate peace through the Force. Then, natives moved in, taking her lightsaber and Iota's and the whole group was led through the doorway and down into the dark tunnels.
Meira wasn't sure if this was better or worse than being topside, but she didn't want to say or do anything unless she had to. And so, she followed in silence as they were led through the long, dark passages until they suddenly came upon an area lit as if by sunlight.
Meira stared, wide eyed as they were led through the bright, glittering underground city until they came to a large, official looking building. Inside, they were taken before what seemed to be a group of leaders, and after being pushed in the back, Meira followed the example of their native escort and bowed.

Iota wasn't too sure on what would happen, the force was clouded on this desolate planet and the natives were blissfully unaware that their minds were almost like a safe and was nearly impossible to read their minds. They would have to rely on diplomacy rather than persuasion it would seem.
They were lead down a series of long, dark and dank corridors until they entered a room that was lit by thousands of crystals, even iota couldn't help but stand in awe before the natural beauty of the cavern. He looked to what seemed like a council and following suit he bowed with respect hoping not to upset the locals. He nudge Makiro to do the same.

Grudgingly, Makiro bowed to their captors, angry them for having kicked away his lightsabre. It would have been oh so easy to have reached out and retrieved the weapon with the Force, but his limited knowledge of hostile situations told him that this would only serve to anger their hosts.
As he straightened his back again, he fought down his anger, finding a quiet place to rest within the Force. Looking directly at his captors, he attempted to keep any hint of malice or malcontent out of his eyes.
Despite this outer appearance of calm, and despite his quiet place, his heart was pounding with nerves. He hoped that one of the older Jedi had a plan.
