CZ Executioner Class Droid A Superior Droid for a Long Gone Age Name • CZ Executioner-Class Weapons Platform, Subtype Antipersononnel Classification • Droid Origin • Czerka Arms Specifications Size • How big is this thing? Give rough estimates in metric measurements (meters) - Height: 2.5 Meters - Width: 35 inches - Weight: 400lbs Appearance • The CZ Executioner Droid stands over two meters tall, consisting of a machine skeleton of humanoid proportions and additional reinforcing plates of durasteel on it’s main body. The primary metal plates serve as protection for the droid’s main body, from it’s legs all the way towards it’s central dome at the top of it’s head. Significant effort has also been done to layer the external antennae located at the droid’s dorsal side so as to preserve the Executioner’s neural net capabilities. Exceptions exist in regards to the droid’s arms, which remain fairly lightweight, in service to the manual dexterity they would likely require. In consideration of this, Czerka Arms has supplied a small supply of machine parts so as to supply any owner with the capability to replace damaged or faulty parts* as efficiently as possible *Czerka Arms notes that replacement parts only apply to the minimally protected upper limbs. Czerka Arms does not manufacture official replacement parts for any other section of the CZ Executioner-class Weapons Platform, Subtype Antipersononnel. Czerka Arms notes that any adjustment or modification from the standard model is in breach of contract and liable for a fine of up to 20 million credits or 125% of the droid’s current market value, whichever is higher. Any repairs would need to be conducted by a certified Czerka Arms technician, otherwise an equivalent fee would also be incurred. Czerka Arms, Anytime, anywhere...we’re there! Function Designed during the waning years of the Jedi Civil War nearly four hundred years prior, the CZ Executioner-class was built as the final piece to Czerka Arms’ combined arms doctrine. Where Czerka had developed light arms, heavy weaponry, combat droids and the like before, the Executioner represented a shift in production and strategic values that occurred shortly before Czerka’s collapse. A consistent failure in the early years of Czerka’s combined arms doctrine was it’s failure in successfully eliminating highly valuable, highly lethal, targets. While marketing for the CZ-Executioner would never outright claim it, internal documents dictate the droid line as the company’s best attempt at ameliorating Jedi and Sith threats to the company’s bottomline. Constructed for maximum lethality, the CZ-Executioner was built without even an attempt at obscuring it’s lethal intent. Where other assassin droids and operators were built to be modest and unassuming, the Executioner line was built to be intimidating. A blank facial plate devoid of features to intimidate and disturb, multiple redundant processing cores located in the chest, waist, head and ‘heart’ cavity to defy death from decapitation or alpha burst, and an outer protective chassis composed of durasteel to defy conventional armaments and delay the crippling lightsaber blows of force users. Despite this, the Executioner’s power cells are significantly more vulnerable, located within a ‘heart’ cavity parallel to the processing core located there, as well as a series of secondary powercells situated within it’s spine. Sections within the Executioner’s lower dorsal area is deliberately hollow. Upon command, the drone may retract the durasteel protective armor layer, revealing a storage are designed to fit a maximum of four ThirdEye Drones. Barring that, munitions, weapons and other such materials may be kept within this area as situation permits. Internal data storage included a bevy of information relating to humanoid psychology, ballistic weapons, laser weapons, tactical subroutines for antipersonnel combat, and other information as dependent upon the desire of the customer at installation. Additional, a Neural Net Processing Unit allows for the CZ-Executioner to learn and adapt to it’s situation and the problems it faces with remarkable clarity. This Processing Unit also allows the Executioner it’s most noteworthy advantage. When operating in groups, the droid line is able of slaving it’s consciousness to each other via the reinforced antennae on it’s back, resulting in a hivemind capable of coordinating it’s method of attack, thus resulting in an exponential increase in potential lethality the more of these droids are present and coordinating at the same time. Slaving the neural net to other droids and drones are remarkably more difficult however, as while Executioners are capable of coordinating with each other wirelessly, one would need to pre-program droids and other machines followed by a hard reset for an executioner to include them within this neural net. In which case, it would be less the construction of a hivemind and more the droid itself taking control of the automata. Nonetheless, the potential threat of brigades or armies of Executioners appearing died with Czerka. Shortly after initial the initial construction runs for the Executioners occurred, the company had a falling out with the director of the program itself. The director was liquidated, his projects defunded and the Executioners removed from production queues. While use of the droids continued for decades, particularly for wetwork and senitive matters Czerka would rather not be seen publicly, production is now impossible. Access to the droid’s design is nigh impossible, buried as it is behind layers of copyright protection that aren’t likely to expire until the next millennia. In addition, Czerka was well aware of their design’s potential in the hands of other companies and crippled the ability for end user’s to modify a completed Executioner. Any modifications to the original template could not be done without access to the droid’s design with modifications beginning at the onset of construction, which is impossible due to production only being possible in Czerka Arms-branded factories, which have been shutdown for centuries, and only with the original designs in hand, which are essentially lost to bureacracy forever. Despite this, Czerka’s Tatooine Weapons Development Branch had constructed thousands of the droids with the intent for them to protect Czerka assets and ‘aggressively acquire’ the assets of it’s competitors. The droid has since been phased out, and while in the hundreds of years since construction had stopped, the true number of CZ-Executioners currently active in the galaxy is an unknown. |
