Overall Looks • Jael’s chalk-white skin and bald pate mark him as a Rattataki. While his build his not imposing, his demeanor suggests a seasoned fighter. Deep brown, but otherwise unassuming eyes give little away in regard to his current thoughts. His appearance is generally tailored to the nature of his tasks. When he is on an official mission or visiting the Temple, Jael can be found wearing standard Jedi robes. A lightsaber can be seen at each hip. On other occasions he may be spotted wearing more shabby or ‘shadier’ clothing to better blend into his surroundings. Personality Profile Jael is a man tempered by the reality of his experiences. The truth is that he has spent much of his life seeing the worst the galaxy has to offer. Like many of his peers, he believes the Dark Side to be the root of much suffering; a foe which must be fought. Thus he considers it a great honor to undertake the duties of a Shadow, even if it tends to ostracize him somewhat from other Jedi. He has a knack for sneaking his way into ‘enemy’ territory but ultimately possesses a more combat-oriented mindset. His patience adds a subtlety to his nature which both aids in duties as well as his endears Jael to his peers. He has a tendency towards terseness, but those who work closely with him know that he has his occasional moments of witty sarcasm. Jael is viewed as somewhat of an irreverent member of the Order due to his association with less than reputable individuals. It is true that he enjoys the company of soldiers and smugglers and prefers to avoid the politics of the Order. However, he has always shown great deference to the Council and similarly respects his fellow Jedi.
