These characters are to be used to fill out the Council Chambers a little more, as there are currently only three PCs on the Council at the time of writing this. All of these characters are adoptable, and will be rotated out should the Council spots be filled by actual PCs. As NPCs, they will exist mostly in Council meeting threads, and perhaps mentioned in passing by others, but will play no significant part in any site plots beyond that without explicit staff say-so.
NPC Form Daraan Narnir, Jedi Weapon Master | He/Him | Adoptable: yes Togruta / Rank 3 / Jedi Jedi Master Narnir is a beast of a man, standing head and shoulders over most people and with a personality to match. Confident in his abilities almost to the point of brashness, the Togruta usually takes a direct, straightforward approach to solving problems. To the disappointment of his former instructors, especially Grand Master Shovaah Moho, Narnir seems to live for the thrill of combat. It is when his life is on the line against an opponent as powerful, or more powerful, than himself that his abilities truly shine. With his lightsaber pike in hand and with the Force flowing through his body, there are few who can match his speed, strength, stamina and skill in a fight. This attitude has won him some grudging respect from the Mandalorians, many of whom he fought and defeated during the Pan-Galactic War. Of course, Narnir would not be a Jedi Master or a member of the High Council if his love of combat was not tempered by his sense of honour and his desire to defend those who cannot protect themselves. While he has cultivated an intimidating image for himself, the Togruta would not hesitate to stand in the way of danger to shield people and has been wounded many times in the past due to his willingness to sacrifice himself for others. It was this quality that saw him badly hurt near the end of the war, and the Weapon Master has only recently returned to active duty after spending months in rehabilitation with the Grand Master, who spent much time personally ensuring that Narnir's injuries would not hamper his physical abilities when fully healed. |
NPC Form Lel Reu, Jedi Diplomat | They/Them | Adoptable: yes Nagai / Rank 3 / Jedi The youngest and newest member of the High Council, Master Lel Reu was a foundling from Nar Shaddaa discovered by Jedi Master Sess Soz and has little in common with their native species. They abhor violence, and so the role of diplomat was one well suited to them, smoothing over conflict and bringing warring sides to peaceful terms. Their natural ability to modulate their voice, as well as being powerful in the arts of Force telepathy, make them a force to be reckoned with in the diplomatic world. It is very difficult indeed to hide anything from Reu, as the above, combined with their talents in investigation as part of their jobs as a diplomat, makes exposing political corruption and troubling undercurrents child's play to the Nagai Jedi. More times than they would like, they are also called upon to defend their current charges, and as such Reu has become one of the most proficient in the Order at using the Force in a defensive manner. Even their lightsaber skills reflect this as, though they rarely use their weapon as anything more than a symbol of their status, they are a master in the Third Form, Soresu. |
NPC Form Sess Soz, Jedi Investigator | He/Him | Adoptable: yes Sullustan / Rank 3 / Jedi Short of stature and quiet of nature, Jedi Master Soz is someone that many people underestimate. Though friendly and wise, his introverted manner and innate skills at blending into the background of whatever room he is in often leaves people with only the most fleeting impression of him. Indeed, Soz prefers to spend most of his time assigned to places that require a subtle touch where events will pan out better if nobody realises he was there performing his duties at all, be that in high society soirées or in gang-dominated slums. Stealthy, politically savvy, and practised in Force techniques that keep him out of the attentions of those who would oppose him, he is more than capable of performing the 'light touch' such missions require. Of course, Soz often plays people's disdain of him this to his advantage; he overhears many things that others may have guarded more closely had they thought more highly of his skills. The same could be said of Sith he has met of the battlefield, all of whom he took off-guard during the war with his intense mastery of Jar'Kai. In fact, while Soz would never employ such a barbaric practice as counting his kills, it is safe to say that this unassuming Sullustan Jedi defeated more Sith opponents with his curved-hilted lightsaber and shoto than almost any other Jedi of the Order during the time of the Pan-Galactic War. |
NPC Form Jilkoow Ziee, Jedi Researcher | She/Her | Adoptable: yes Rodian / Rank 3 / Jedi Even as a youngling, Ziee had her sights firmly on what she wanted to do: uncovering old secrets and gathering knowledge. Possessing lasor focus from an early age, the Rodian was swiftly singled out and chosen for tutelage by a Jedi Master, who was also an archaeologist. During her training, she and her master were exposed to a Dark Side artefact: a holocron containing the teachings of terrible techniques. To the surprise of her superiors, while her master fell to the seduction of the holocron, Ziee proved to be remarkably resilient to it's temptations and was able to steal it away to the Temple before her errant teacher could use it for his own purposes. Now a Master in her own right and a member of the High Council, Ziee is often called upon these days to find and secure items of interest to the Sith to prevent similar items as the one that she discovered in her youth from falling into the wrong hands. Working such dangerous conditions have made the Rodian a tough customer, as she has developed her already strong mental resistances into virtually impenetrable barriers. Her skills in telekinesis are immensely refined as well, to the point where she can perform even the most delicate tasks with ease using solely the Force... or else easily pummel those who would harm her or others into the ground. |
NPC Form Shuaq Elbot, Jedi Healer | She/Her | Adoptable: yes Quarren / Rank 3 / Jedi Master Elbot, for the last few years, had retired from the frontline duties of a Jedi, choosing instead to teach at the Temple on Coruscant, to develop the younglings into people that will go forward and carry the destiny of the Order on their shoulders. However, time and again the elderly Quarren has been drawn back out into the galaxy, hearing the clarion call of the suffering and injured. Even at her advanced age, Elbot cannot refuse a cry for help, even at the expense of her own health. The end result: losing one of her hands in a life or death struggle during a hostage situation that spiralled out of her control. Though nobody was killed thanks to her impressive abilities in Force Healing, the incident made it apparent to Elbot that she no longer has the stamina for field work and has decided to truly dedicate her last few years to the Temple, graciously accepting the offer of a cybernetic hand crafted by Master Teemar Vosh. Upon her return, Grand Master Shovaah Moho invited her to take a seat on the depleted High Council, which she accepted. Her steady mind and stalwart spirit will doubtlessly provide balance within the Council Chambers. |
NPC Form Kin Fendo, Jedi Shadow | He/Him | Adoptable: yes Geonosian / Rank 3 / Jedi Found abandoned on his home planet of Geonosia in the wreckage of a destroyed hive, Kin Fendo was discovered by a Jedi who had felt the deaths of the lives in the hive and came to investigate. Bringing the child back to the Temple, where he was later found to be Force sensitive, the Jedi Master knew that the hand of the Force had been involved, and insisted that the Geonosian receive training. Though there were many barriers to break through during Fendo's education, the Geonisan was remarkably determined to learn and did not fall behind his peers. Loyal to the Order to a fault, Fendo eventually became a renowned hunter of Dark Side acolytes. His ability to dig them out is legendary, as are his skills with telekinetic lightsaber combat and stubborn, hard-headed nature. Yet despite occasionally toeing the line of what Jedi consider acceptable, Fendo has shown remarkable resistance to Dark Side corruption, attributed by the Grand Master to his single-minded drive and purity in his purpose. The Geonosian Jedi cannot Fall, because he simply has no concept of the idea of temptation. |
NPC Form Sarris Zag'da, Jedi Ace | She/Her | Adoptable: yes Balosar / Rank 3 / Jedi Though not much older than Master Lel Reu, Master Zag'da is in no way inexperienced. A Padawan to one of Grand Master Shovaah Moho's last students, the Wookie Jedi Master Snyarm, she has spent most of her time after becoming a Knight in the Jedi Starfighter Corps. She led her squadron to many notable victories, even earning the chance for honorary medals from the Galactic Republic's military. She constantly flatly refused each and every offer, citing that the taking of another life, any life, is nothing to celebrate or commemorate. As an Ace, Sarris Zag'da is well-practised in the use of Force Meld, and has even achieved some skill in the use of Battle Meditation, going so far as to take personal lessons from Master Moho himself. She is no slouch in close-combat either, being well-versed in the use of Ataru. Her recent invitation to join the Jedi High Council came as some surprise to her, but with her hard-earned experience in leadership and warfare tactics, she understands that her contribution to this authority would greatly help the Order. |
NPC Form Teemar Vosh, Jedi Artisan | She/Her | Adoptable: yes Omwati / Rank 3 / Jedi Master Vosh is, above all else, an artisan beyond all reproach. Her works are close to legendary even in her own lifetime, and many Jedi dream of having one of her creations by their side. Though she focusses on several forms, from carvings to holocron creations, her lightsabers are one of the most sought after objects. Though each of these weapons are often made by the hand of their users, Teemar Vosh's assistance in building them often results in the lightsaber being extraordinarily beautiful and sturdy in equal measure. Blunt and monosyllabic most of the time, Vosh is nevertheless a Jedi at heart, and loves to spread her knowledge to any that show interest in order to help them grow. Her passion in her field makes her an excellent teacher and, although her interest in politics are negligible, when she was invited to the High Council she could not think of a reason to refuse... despite a good long time thinking about how she could. Despite this, her grounded personality should bring as stabilizing an influence to Council meetings as it does in the classes that she teaches. |
